It’s a very nice sewing machine shop where you can purchase new or used machines. They also have a couple of great repair technicians and a good selection of quilting fabrics plus all the notions you could need.

Love love the Rocking Bobbin! Great selection of fabric and every kind of notion you could think of...all are experts at sewing and quilting. Sewing machine repair on site too. Bought my Bernina there with wonderful hands on classes on the weekend as part of that transaction.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I was able to take my machine in for repair and pick it up rather quickly. I hope I won’t have to go back anytime soon for any of my other machines 🤞🏻 BUT if I do, I know where to go!

Don’t bring any BabyLock to this store! They accepted my BabyLock and have had it for over 3 weeks and told me they would accept the plan I paid for at no charge. They now call me back to let me know they will only do the maintenance for a charge!

Great experience with fixing an older Pfaff machine. I was kept informed of progress and felt good about both the service and the price. Very clean store with polite people who are passionate about their art.

Had some machine repairs done. No complaints about service. My complaint has to do with cavalier attitude about mask-wearing and social distancing. The repair person seemed to have no regard for either, encroaching within the 6 ft. distance when speaking to me and his co-workers. I am concerned for his co-workers as well as the customer. I realize that it would be difficult to wear a mask all day long, but I assume the repair person spends lot of time per day in the back room. He could maybe forgo wearing a mask during those times. Mask-wearing was inconsistent with some employees wearing one and others not. Many folks have lost their jobs of late. These employees should be grateful they still have a job. The least they can do is wear masks and comply with CDC social distancing guidelines.

I bought 770 QE here Apr 2020 and had great experience. They are very nice people. You dont need to worry anything if you buy a sewing machine from them.

They cleaned and serviced my 590 with 1-day service! Van, the technician explained what he did. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great quilt/sewing store. Lots of supplies. BERNINA dealership. Very nice !

Went to store to walk around was greeted with friendly staff. Looked at sewing machines. And was impressed with the machines and knowledge of how to use them i bought a new one. The owner kept informed on the tracking and arrival date of machineWhen i went to pick it up i had impromptu class. Got pics from unboxing and6 classes were offered for training to get to know the machine and features. Thank you sew much. New go to sewing store.

Took my machine here to get it fixed. Machine was there 2 weeks before being looked at. Called twice to see how things were going before tech even looked at it. The next day got a call from tech with complaints of why he could’nt repair. Tech did not even open machine to inspect but told me it would be $59 for him to spend 2 hrs an find out what was wrong with it. The bobbin winder fell in the machine when it broke my son took screws out to locate it but could not open the machine so he left it. Tech told me it was not in the machine. Hummmm. Then he told me it had coke wasted in the machine. Tech was very rude. I would have felt better if he said I inspected the machine this and this is wrong there will be a charge of $59 but machine is nonrepairable.Waste of time !!!.. mistreated .... disrespected...no wonder parking lot is ALWAYS empty. will not use again or buy from. Will not recommend.

My new favorite quilt store! The staff is quite helpful and friendly, and the store has a great selection of fabric, notions, quilting supplies of all kinds, and a great selection of Aurifil and Isacord threads. What is there not to like? :)

Like a lot of people, when COVID hit, it was time to dig my Janome sewing machine out to sew masks. I ran into trouble almost immediately. The Internet kept telling me it was a bobbin casing, so I went into Rocking Bobbin for a replacement. I was crazy lucky to get to talk to Van, the machine tech, and he warned me that probably wasn’t the problem. He was right. I turned right back around and took the machine in for what really amounted to regular maintenance. My machine had just sat too long without use and need some TLC. I’m thrilled with the service and Van’s great bedside manner. He was very easy to talk to and 100% transparent. I’ll be back with my Janome serger later. I also love the $2.50 fat quarters of BEAUTIFUL fabrics. I’ll be back for more of those, too.

Rocking Bobbin is a very friendly and well-stocked quilt shop and Bernina dealer. They also offer excellent classes. I’ve taken smocking classes with Kelly Aikens and they were wonderful! And Rocking Bobbin carries all of the supplies I needed.I’ve also called RB with odd questions about a smocking pattern, and although the kind person I spoke with didn’t know the answer, she found the answer for me and promptly called me back.They also have a great selection of high quality fabric, and also a great selection of sale fabric!I’ve taken 3 classes with RB and plan on taking more. They are quite a drive from my house, but it’s worth it!The employees there are so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. It is NOT a Joann’s experience.Their sales are real sales and their knowledgeable employees really help you and you leave happy...with the exact items you needed.Their customer service is THE BEST!Anna Marie

This store is wonderful as are the employees. I have never been to Rocking Bobbin when I have not found some fabric I just absolutely cannot live without. A great store.

I bought Cutterpillar Glow Ultra from them and they would not take it back after they told me they would. They said it had been used and it had a few nicks. How else are you supposed to test something without using it. Worst service. I originally liked this place but after this they will never get my business ever again and I will let everyone that will listen not to shop here.

I went to get an old sawing machine looked at and they looked at it right away. I didn’t have to go back another day. The gentleman showed me what was wrong and made recommendations, and serviced it in the spot. I will go there again and again.

This is a great shop. I treat this almost entirely as my machine support/dealership as Im a garment sewist, not a quilter, but I still feel appreciated and supported every time I come in. Im sure their selection of quilting supplies is also great.
