My go-to for snacks, essentials and whatever else I needed. By no means is this place inexpensive, but the quality goods they carry in store to include their prepared meals high quality. The people working were also very nice.
This is a great market. Im visiting Dallas from out of town, and passed by on my way to my customers office. I stopped in to grab a cup of coffee in the morning and discovered an incredible selection of foods. They had amazing desserts, a huge selection of tamales beautiful snack boxes with hummus cheeses stuffed grape leaves olives. The staff were also super friendly.
Upscale specialized unique all the good stuff of the world in one corner store. Gourmet sandwiches made to order with the best meats and breads. A nice staff that are friendly and welcoming. The store is not very big but big enough to suggest its City like foodie vibe. Head on in and quench your first or satisfy your hunger.
Great local spot for lunch or snack when visiting and staying downtown. Great atmosphere, wonderful selection of different products, staff was very friendly, and the veggie sammy was delicious!
This is a small grocers in Downtown Dallas. Masks are still required inside. They carry some name brand items but for the most part stock appears to be locally sourced or from small businesses. In my opinion, there seems to be more alcohol than groceries but the selection is interesting and affordable. Everything here I feel is priced comparable to large grocery chains. At checkout you can use tap to pay for quick and contact-less payments. You can also tip the cashier, which is my favorite part. There are seats in the front of the store but Im unsure if the area is open for use. This is a great little spot in downtown if youre exploring and want to grab a quick bite and try a new wine or beer.
I love how warm and friendly the employees are in this store. They always make me feel welcomed. Ill continue to shop here. Thank you.
Clean and well stocked. Carry a great selection of foods and snacks. Their coffee bar is ok and they are easy to access when down town. Employees are nice and helpful.
Its a great convenience for dwntwn Dallas, and they stay well stocked. But like most things now in OUR GREAT CITY, people migrate from other big cities in America, AND BRING THEIR HIGH PRICES with them. Were still a country, down to earth town. They dont get that. Ill stop there to be respectful. Just think BMW. BRING YOUR MONEY WITH YOU!
If you cant find a full grocery store this is the next best thing. Plenty of odd ball snacks and candy and plenty of health foods available. Milk and basic amenities can be found with some cereal. Definitely a good choice to stop by for something quick including pre-made foods such as sandwiches and salads.
Very clean, very organized and got all you need. Never been inside before until today and I can say I was impressed. I always had in mind that their prices are too high because I only see their grocery stores in expensive neighborhoods but the prices are affordable not like Walmart prices or Kroger but you can still afford to pay for their goods.
LOVE this bodega in downtown Dallas. Perfect for a nice coffee, good wine, snacks and groceries. Employees are super nice too. They even gave out fresh peas on NY day for good luck :-)
Is this location gone for good? I was just here a couple days ago, and now everything is gone.
Cute little corner grocery store. We were staying around the corner and stopped here a couple times. Definitely a little expensive for some normal things. You’re really just paying for convenience. They did have a good selection of things. We tried one of their chocolate mousse pies but unfortunately it wasn’t very good.
This is one of our favorites in downtown and so grateful for having a little grocery shop!!
I lived in downtown Dallas for about 7 years before moving back to Atlanta. Used to go to the Interurban Market back on Jackson but they are no more. This place reminds me of that, nice cozy place, friendly staff and decent selection of stuff for a small market. Makes living in a downtown area bearable.
The selection is kind of limited and the prices are pretty high, but what do you expect for a downtown grocery. I did like that they had a good selection of deli foods to eat in the store or to take with you.
Great espresso, lots of flavor syrups, several dairy-free milk options. Finished my mocha and went back for a lavender latte. Staff was friendly and helpful. A quick browse of the groceries was interesting enough to make me want to come back to explore further.
Absolutely love this place!
Best drinks around and always quick and efficient. Super professional and polite with tons of great items to choose from. Definitely going back again and again
What a great little store! The employees are very friendly and they gave customers black eyed pees today for New Years, which was awesome since I’m away from home.
Yep its a winner great bodega in downtown Dallas.
I love this place so much great stuff, and always so fresh !!!
As a former gourmet grocer myself, I have struggled with this business. I know rent is high, but staples such as milk, bread etc, should be competitively priced for those living downtown. Now for the good! I Love this place, and takes me back to my days as a purveyor of quality foods! I now survive on a veterans pension, which means I cannot afford much, but always love to get what I can. Very fresh, and very unique items, makes me come in and browse! Its a block away, and if Im in a pinch, they are there. However, PLEASE get on the SNAP program for us veterans.
Over priced products downtown.
So cute and convenient. Would recommend for healthy eaters
I live in the heart of downtown. There’s only 1 grocery store available near me, this one. It’s like 50 yards away from my apartment and beats any normal place because it’s mainly domestically grown food and products with organic produce, vegan options if you want, and basically acts as a convenience store also. You can order coffee/espresso here too, it’s really good. I’m not sure how downtown Dallas survived so long without a real grocery store until now... Love this place.
Excellent selection of groceries and wine! They serve food, but we just bought snacks. Excellent service!! I was expecting convenience store and it is NOT that.
A small local grocery/cafe I go to for weekly shopping. It doesnt have a large selection of groceries but it suits my needs perfectly.
Perfect little store. When looking for a few sweets, this store had great unique options. No matter if you were vegan or even on Keto.
The store is nice, large and well stocked. Usual great prices and selection of goods. Highly recommended!
Nice small store but has everything you need!
Edit #1: in response to the reply from management I will say that 1) I asked the attendant on staff if you carried smaller packs of water and his response was no, that might be a reflection on training?!? 2) it was not obvious by any means where the smaller packs of water were. So I’ll stop by later and maybe you can show me. Not sure if that will reflect in a rating change but I want to be fair and see for myself. Thank you for your prompt response. Certainly reflects well on your management style and that you are genuinely interested in great customer service. This is a small grocer that carries a limited line of product. It being downtown probably plays into the fact that prices are slightly dearer (more expensive) than what you’d expect to pay at a regular chain grocery store. Most of the products due to limited space are therefore specially chosen. However some things should be catered for the demographic like instead of buying single individual bottles of specialty water or a 30 pack of regular water, a six pack of regular water would be expected because most people are not driving to this store and a 30 pack is a bit much to carry or unnecessary for those staying in Dallas for a business trip of several days. However, they carry an ice cream sandwich that hands down deserves five stars on its own. I’ll include a photo. Comes in several flavors.
This place is amazing! I am so in love !The staff is so welcoming and helpful!I live very close by so this is my new groceries store !Love it !
Good coffee. Cute store. Awesome local products.
Great little neighborhood grocery. Limited selection and inevitably expensive but well worth it.
My delivery customer wanted hot sauce and I wasnt sure where to go. I saw this store in route to their location. They had several choices. I bought some delicious chocolate pie from there that was divine. Quick checkout. Saved my delivery. Thank you
This place is the epitome of gentrification. Walking through the homeless to get over priced ramen noodles is almost like a dystopian nightmare. Where the market is needed the industry will thrive, why travel to a cheaper place when this store is located a quick walk away? It would be almost unreasonable to find something cheaper in a big city full of rich kids and privilege.I hear an echo of “There is no ethical consumption under capitalism” as I walked through the door. Hope the employees have a good paycheck at least.
This place is convenient and has a great selection of items. Staff are always friendly. However, some of the pricing is ridiculous and without merit, even when considering their rent. Furthermore, they get a grand total of five tacos each morning that have sausage in them. Can we please have a better selection of tacos?
Small grocery store with everything you need. They sell a lot of organic products as well.
Staff is warm and friendly. Selections are diverse and wonderful. We got crystallized ginger which we could not get anywhere else, and a bunch of seasonings I cant wait to start using. We loved how homey the store was! Definitely a great neighborhood store. We will stop for coffee next time!
The people who work here are really nice. Mostly organic selection. Pretty pricey, but it is a specialty grocery store in the middle of downtown. They have a great whole bean coffee and wine selection.
The existence of this market makes downtown living a top-notch lifestyle! They have everything you need to procrastinate a big box grocery store visit. They’re very interested in stocking anything you request and I’m especially happy they carry so many gluten-free options. My dog loves stopping through here with me on long walks too :D
Love this place! Walking distance from my apartment. Love the people and though they tease me when they stock something I like then dont buy it again, its a great corner store.
Really grateful to have this business downtown, and I’m glad they invested in our community. While it’s not a place I can personally afford to do all of my shopping, they have an incredible and wide-ranging selection of items and the location is great for some smaller items, such as milk, veggies, a bottle of wine, etc. It’s great to be able to pick up a birthday card or some beer and not have to go to a 7-11. The staff is friendly, and they have a booklet up front where you can write down requests for items they don’t currently carry. They carry Stumptown (aka delicious) coffee you can order by the cup there, or purchase a bag to bring home with you. I think this shop is a great addition to our community, and while some of the items are pricey, it’s still wonderful to have a spot where you can pick up some soup and a fresh loaf of bread or some ice cream or a bottle of wine within walking distance.
Very unlike a traditional grocery store. This one us stylish. The staff are cheerful and helpful. Lots of artisanal products including organic foods. A small place to sit down and have a coffee. Well located as well. Overall, a good place to pick up essentials.
My go to spot for fresh produce and grocery’s living downtown. Very community oriented, cleaned, restocked and organized. 5-star customer service as well. 🤗
Convenient but pricy; and a couple of issues. The wife and I grabbed some prepared meals from here for a light lunch after eating out across the street for breakfast. I grabbed their house salad and she picked a hummus tray.House Salad:What looked like a creamy ranch was actually a blue cheese dressing - not a fan. It does mention the blue cheese in the fine print.Hummus Tray:The wife really enjoyed her hummus tray even though some of the carrots and olives had turned. The hummus portion itself was tasty.
Decent selection for a downtown grocery and diner.
One of the best yet simple grocery stores I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend
Super cool place to get a coffee while downtown.
What a nice little surprisingly well stocked real deal grocery store. Its not exactly a coupon cutting kinda spot but it is a specialty cool awesome service little spot you can get everything from fresh macaroons to fresh produce and even toiletries and other household items. I gotta say I am impressed.
Service wasnt good but nice selection of products
Great coffee, great selection of beer and wine.
Massively overpriced, however you have to expect that for what it is
Really nice specialty grocer with sandwiches coffee soup and baked goods. Selected of local made cakes, cookies etc. Food made in house is pricey but good. Overall high prices but also high quality.
I really appreciate the concept and they stay open late which is great for us that live downtown. However I was very underwhelmed, especially for the price. Theyre produce was shriveled. I did not feel like they had too much variety. Its ok if you need an item on a whim. Their sandwiches and ready made food are pretty good though.
This place has it all. If youre looking for quality products or incredibly fresh and unique produce, this is the place to come. Its one of only a few places where I have been able to find tigernut flour. This is a very hard commodity to come by and while some people use it for their personal nutrition, I actually use it for fishing as it is a very good bait to use for carp and buffalo. That aside I love going Royal Blue Grocery. Every time I go in there my wallet gets lighter because I cant help but buy things.
I was very excited when this place opened, as living in downtown for years without a grocery store you can walk to and avoid getting the car out, it was a welcomed addition. The selection is decent, the fruit/vegetables are usually fresh and the service is always good. They also have very good meat.Yes they arent cheap, though for being downtown they arent bad. Prices are about the same as a whole foods/market Street.
A little pricey, but its what youd expect for a place like this. So nice. So clean. Such good options. Staff is great. Great service. I wish I could have spent more time there.
In Town from Oklahoma and needed some dinner. This place was fantastic and staff was very friendly!! Highly recommend the sandwiches with the spicy sauce.
A good convenience store I love it One of my favorite place downtown Dallas
The friendliest people work here! :)
This is such a quaint little grocery store! I didn’t come in for anything in particular, but I left with the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in a long time! Perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat or a cup of coffee! The staff was super friendly & helpful too!
Loved
Great little community store with a very good selection of a lot of items. The staff are great and very friendly. Only half negative is you will pay a premium for the convenience of a downtown community store.
I’m visiting Dallas and I passed by the Royal Blue as I was exploring the area. The staff and Manager greeted me with a smile immediately. This place is a prime example of fantastic customer service by making sure all my needs were fulfilled. The coffee is great and I had to pair it with a dessert. When I visit again I know where I’m going. Thank you Royal Blue Staff!
Perfect pit stop if youre in downtown for all of your charcuterie needs.
A little Gem in downtown w Great Nibbles & a variety of lively wines, champagne etc
Excellent service, thank you Linda
A small and quaint grocery store located in downtown. Has a selection of various grocery basics but also offers grilled items and coffee. Definitely a place to relax from the busy downtown scene
I love this store so much! It has everything that you need. I love the staff but there is a major difference between the Morning and Evening. Morning crew isnt so much motivated to do there job but the evening crew wow they are amazing. Today one of the staff had paid for the things I bought due to my card not working and not having any cash on me. I told him I would pay him back and he responded Its okay you dont have to. There are some really good people in this world.
This was a special treat! In the midst of busy downtown Dallas, this quaint grocery store/coffee bar was superb. I had an expresso and it was strong and delicious! You can purchase fresh produce, snacks, drinks, fresh flowers & more! Ill be back. Thank you!
Customer service at it’s best! We walked in 7:45 the night before thanksgiving looking for a few missing items and they did not have them in stock. One of the employees offered to get them from the other location for us and we expected it to take a day or two. To our surprise he said he would drive over that night, get the items and have them ready for us by 7:00am the next day! Not to mention he heard us talking about an upcoming trip to Greece and he also brought us a bottle of Greek wine!!With service like this they will be my go to from here on.Thank you and have a good thanksgiving!
Cool little grocery store in Downtown Dallas. I got a Texas Holdem sandwich and it was awesome. The guys behind the counter were cool and friendly.
The prices are high! However it is the only place ever that I’ve even tried beet juice now I’m a fan. I love the beet, ginger, and turmeric juice.
This is a great little grocery store in the middle of downtown. I’ve seen some people complaining about the prices being high - some items are a little overpriced but the convenience factor more than makes up for it. Also the produce / fresh veggies doesn’t seem to be overpriced IMO. They have slices of pie that are amazing. Check them out!
My wife paid for Terrible coffee, 7-11 would have done better.
I love this place! Clean, neat establishmentAnd courteous staff. 👍
This place was surprisingly fun to shop in for quick snacks, breakfast and bites while on a quick trip to downtown. They have a great variety of healthy little meals. Some things seemed a bit pricey but was a quality little shop with attentive staff
The lavender latte is amazing! Also try the sweet potato bread.
To keep it simple, I love it here. I come here at least once a day for something (usually coffee).Aside from grocery staples and household items, theres a wide selection of wines, artisanal cheeses, and food and desserts from local vendors. On top of that, theres a coffee and wine bar. You can add various flavors such as lavender to your matcha, or other tea and coffees. If I had to list a drawback, this is more of an upscale bodega, so the prices on some items are a bit inflated.Overall, its a great store with a friendly staff.
Their artichoke grilled cheese! 🍞🧀 Everything is so fresh
I just discovered this lovely treasure in walking distance from my loft. The produce is so fresh. This grocery store is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of New York City. Yay Dallas weve arrived.
I love this place. I’ve been coming here ever since it opened to get the best coffee in town. As much as most of the staff is nice and friendly, manager is the grumpiest, most unfriendly person ever. He is impolite to the point that it makes me not even want go there anymore. But I don’t want to miss out on the best coffee in town, so I keep going there hoping not to see him.
CleanNicely stockedAWESOME CASHIER!
Good assortment of grocery products including beer and wine. Coffee and sandwich bar with a sitting area. Not unexpected, $$$ for the convenience factor for being in the city.
I shopping for foods and good food hot meals and drinks beer to buy.
Very good espresso! The coffee machine, the Marzocco is very super!! In Italy is like a super car!
So convenient to grab a few groceries or quick meals. Plus there is good wine or wine by the glass. Taco Deli tacos and coffee is a good wake-me-up, too.Living downtown is so fun, and Royal Blue is part of that culture.
Friendly staff
Great sandwiches.
Convenient downtown location. Has just the right selection of groceries and goodies.
Nice options for specialty items. Definitely expensive. ($6 for a small cup of mixed fruit.) And many items dont even have price tags. So prepare for a surprise at the register.
