I make the 30 min drive from my place just to buy these chocolates. I really dont eat chocolate often, but these are top tier. The artistry and unique flavors are unmatched. Ive been a huge fan for years and the quality and customer service are always consistent.
The lady’s were so nice, and the chocolates are amazing. 5 stars for sure.
The most beautiful chocolates Ive ever seen. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable- you can tell everyone really cares about what they do. I liked the more complex flavor combinations like the key lime pie and strawberry basil over the flavors that are blended in like the sweet potato. Kinda pricey (6 chocolates for $15) but worth the experience for a occassional treat!
Kate Weiser Chocolate is incredible, y’all! Melt in your mouth chocolates that pack a punch and leave you wanting more. Some of the most decadent, creative chocolates I’ve ever had. A friend and I took her chocolate bar making class and had an excellent time. The time and details that go into the chocolate making process is truly fascinating! Come here for the chocolate and make sure to book a class for a really fun night out!
These are not only the most beautiful chocolates ever, but they also taste amazing. We swing by any time we find ourselves in trinity groves and/or when we are wanting special gifts for hard-to-by-for friends. I mean, who doesn’t love chocolate? They also have coffee/espresso as well as macarons, and other chocolate items like bars and hot chocolate snowmen and women. If you haven’t seen Carl melt, you tube it. It’s so fun! Or go buy one. Makes a great gift for any hot chocolate lover! And in the summer months, they have a small selection of yummy ice creams and sorbets. The store is a bit small, but it works. And I could stand there all day watching Kate (who was there in person the last time I went!) make chocolate. It really is an amazing process.
Key lime is a must try! Very good. Expensive, but worth the experience.
Ordered 2 bon bons - Strawberry Basil was excellent and the flavor profile was evident - however - the Mango Habanero didnt have any heat - was disappointing
We came here as part of the Christmas chocolate, sip and wine tour. And they did not disappoint! We left with extra chocolate because it was so good. This business has gotten an extra boost ( which honestly they didnt need it because they are already so amazing) from Operas favorite things list with Carol the chocolate snowman. (Which what a great gift if you dont know a person) the chocolate are still making my mouth water.
The chocolates are delectable and the presentation is stunning- excellent as gifts as well! I have to say, I hate seeing negative reviews based on price- if you think the chocolates are expensive, dont buy them.
This was my first time trying and they were soooo delish!
The Easter eggs were some of the best things Ive ever bad. I love the new products for holidays but those eggs are the best Ive ever had.
Awesome service yesterday got my boss a big beautiful box. She was so thankful and was smiling big time. So this was a huge hit. I will be back
Wow!!! The chocolates are beautiful! You can also put together your own assortment box.
Amazing Chocolate Bon Bon & Bourbon tasting. Local bourbons from Dallas & Ft. Worth. Port cask Angels Envy & Pritchard Hill Cabernet Cask Jefferson’s and Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel Rye.The marriage of this tasting was a delightful and decadent experience. From the Liquid to the edible art.Indulgence at its very best!
Amazingly delicious artistic chocolates. The staff is truly passionate about chocolate. This gem isnt to be missed.
The chocolates were so good just like the staff they are really good too
Amazing Chocolate! I will eat from this place every day. would definitely recommend Kate Weiser Chocolate!
They have the prettiest candy you will ever see!
I really love the chocolates and the sweetness were overloaded, Its so nice
I give it 2 stars because the chocolate is beautiful. If I could base it on beauty alone I would give it five stars, but it’s chocolate! More than anything it’s about the taste. I’m not sure if possibly the people who really enjoyed the flavor tried something I did not or maybe it’s just different taste, but I’ve had much better tasting chocolate. Because it is on the high end I would expect delicious chocolate along with the beautiful art. I was disappointed, if it were cheaper I would buy it for others as a gift simply for the art. If it were better tasting, I would buy it for others; as a chocolate lover, also get some for myself rather often. All of that being said I still recommend trying it, simply because it is truly beautiful chocolate.
Hands down one of the best chocolate experiences ever. The service is great. The chocolate is to die for. The drinking chocolate...OMG! The macaroons, amazing! You cant be disappointed here and if you are, well, I dont know what to tell you because it is delicious!
High-end chocolate with the most exquisite designs & flavors!. I was blown away by the creativity. Its definitely worth a visit. Besides if you 💘 her youd buy her a box of chocolates!. 😍 - Perfect for weddings, parties, birthdays, anniversaries, and/or the perfect treat to satisfy those chocolate cravings
Good place to have chocolates, its so good
Gorgeous, Artful and Delicious Chocolates.Kate & her staff were delightful and we enjoyed watching the process. Weve actually been twice, and have seen 2 different days of the process, which was cool.We bought a few of each which was a small fortune, but was so fun.The passion fruit, ninja turtle, caramelized pineapple are amazing, the flavors are super intense, the textures are beautiful, worth every penny for these three flavors & probably the coconut too.Id pass on the buttered popcorn, sweet potato & banana, the flavors and textures on all three were off.The rest were good, but not memorable.I would recommend eating them quickly, we had a few leftovers I ate a week later and the texture had totally changed. Still totally recommend going, but maybe keep them in the fridge.
Never have I ever walked into a chocolate store and wanted absolutely everything in there. The creamy, delicious layered flavors are a far cry from anything Ive ever experienced. Its a classy, sophisticated chocolate and packaging at a reasonable price. Just ran out, headed back now.
Beautiful little pieces of art that explore in amazing flavors in your mouth. Amazing. The chocolates are a bit pricey but well worth every penny. Fabulous.
These chocolates are beautiful and taste just as good! The cookie butter is easily a favorite!!! I was super excited to try a Carl the snowman for the first time this year! Unfortunately he didn’t quite make the trip, shipping can be difficult but when you pay $10 extra for foam padding to ship him it’d be nice if he made it with his head attached. Hopefully one day I can visit the shop and grab one to try!! Definitely would recommend the chocolates and will continue to buy these pieces of deliciousness!!
I received what I believe to be expired or old chocolates. The filling was rancid tasting and I am very disappointed.
Spot for candy. Shes got the old classics which Ive never even heard of and some of the best British bars Ive never heard of either. I asked for a recommendation and the owner suggested the Lion bar (nestle). The Lion is good
This place is amazing... and delicious! There were so many flavor combinations I never would have expected from a chocolate shop, and all the flavors we tasted were so good. Employees were all very friendly and attentive, and the chocolates are just beautiful. Great experience.
This is the spot for candy. Shes got the old classics which Ive never even heard of and some of the best British bars Ive never heard of either. I asked for a recommendation and the owner suggested the Lion bar (nestle). The Lion is good, real good...
I stopped by this place after picking up a cake next door and fell in love! So glad I went in and cant wait to go back. Absolutely beautiful and even more delicious!
I wasnt happy at all with how my last order was handled. But overall good customer service especially in a time like this.I only shop here for the chocolate.Typical upclass attitude that I could care less for.I had an expired item in my order that was thrown out even though I paid for it which I understand but it should have been replaced or refunded.
Kate Weiser chocolate is one of my Dallas favorites and a must stop location when I pick friends and family up from the airport. Not every flavor is to my liking but I have tried almost every single one and would recommend (if you like fruit flavors) that you try the Passion Fruit and the Key Lime Pie. These shoot off of the flavor scale and are full of delicious and bursting flavors...If you tend to be a little more picky, I would suggest the candy bars which are equally flavorful but they offer less exotic options.
Ridiculously good chocolate and presentation of the look is great (looks good and tastes good). Great idea to buy chocolates to gift others.Anytime I go back to Trinity Groves I’m going to stop here to bring back and gift chocolates.
The chocolates are almost too beautiful to eat! Their flavor combinations are amazing! I highly recommend!
Do yourself a favor and try this place. The service was friendly and sociable. This place has a cool design. Reminds me of a place in New York I loved to visit.
These are so darn good! I would recommend this if you like exploring new flavor combinations on your chocolate cravings. Try the mango habanero, buttery popcorn and the lavender! The pralines are also nice! We keep coming back to the store and eagerly waiting for the Fort Worth branch. Hope to see new flavors soon!
I have been a fan since the shop first opened. I have a confession though, these chocolates are so beautiful I would rather give them than eat them. That said, I love all the unique flavors ( buttery popcorn) and the staff is always helpful and friendly.
I love the Chocolates that I bought here. They had a Sweet Potato & Chocolate sample while I was there it was delicious I didnt get any in my selections, but definitely will when I go back. Did get a Mango Habanero & was pleasantly surprised. Have been enjoying all my cholocates & will definitely go back.💋🍀
Some of the best tasting, highest quality, most beautifully crafted chocolate art you will ever have the opportunity to put in your unworthy mouth. Do it. Support local craft.
The toffee is so good and buttery. The chocolate is pricey, however if you dont wont to spend the more than 10 dollars to satisfy that chocolate crave go next door. The cake is so delicious and satisfying.
5 star chocolate! It is a small store but very nice and chic with great product s. The price might be above average but the product and the store is ad hoc to it. It was recommended by Oprah.
Pricy but worth it!!!! We attended just before New Years Eve, and the young girl who served our warm drinks was so personable and generous. We were a larger group and she was nothing but patient and accommodating.Chocolates, of course, tasted and looked beautiful.
With a huge variety of flavors, you are sure to find something youll love. Everything here is delicious. Not only do these chocolates taste good, but they look good too. Great for gifts. Its not a bargain, but you get what you pay for.
Each piece is a work of art, the colors are simply awesome. The chocolates are also awesome; I havent tried them all but what I had was delicious and finger liking great. Be adventurous and get off you confort zone. Delicious.
Chocolates and sweets that are almost too beautiful to eat. Almost 😇. I love the seasonal creations. Some of my go-to gifts are their assorted boxes and their unique chocolate “sculptures.”
Do yourself a favor and try this place. the place has a great atmosphere. like a restaurant in washington i liked.
AMAZING! We came from Colorado and visited and Anna that works there was so friendly and so amazing! she made our experience fantastic! She let us sample and honestly it was just so much fun to talk with her about the history and how the chocolates were made.
I have shopped at Kate Weiser Chocolate since its opening in 2014. But NEVER again after the terrible customer service I received over the phone two days ago. A lady who introduced herself as Kates mom proceeded to tell me they were no longer in the small shop mentality which allowed them to reserve product ahead of time. Scoffed at me and told me my only option was to come in person or order online. I arrived today only to find a bag set aside for another customer with a note that read: Not paid, picking up later. EXACTLY what I attempted to do the day before and was told was not possible! Well, Kate you and your mom can keep your fancy chocolates. Deplorable to see how much just a little bit of fame can cause someone to snub and turn their nose up at customers! Silly me for thinking business is business. Ill be sure to take mine elsewhere.
These chocolates are amazing art pieces. Each has unique design, shape, and taste. You will never find these anywhere else. Although its a little pricy, you wont be disappointed with the quality. They also have macarons if you like them! Great for gifts :)
Prepared to spend five minutes hemming and hawing, learning the sweet juxtapositions of art and candy. Amazing.
Expensive. Looks great. Beautiful. But this taste very mediocre. The taste of the chocolate does not match the price. Some actually tasted good because of the filling inside, but chocolate quality is not there. Not a good choice for people who love to eat.
Ok so hands down the greatest chocolate I have ever experienced. I say experienced because it is far beyond a treat or candy. It is layers of flavors and is more like a symphony meets rock n roll. Truly amazing work and Kate is a talented artist. Highly recommend all her confections as her macaroons and ice cream are also delicious.
We were given a large assortment of these beautiful gems as a thank you gift. You almost don’t want to destroy them, they’re so beautiful, but alas we did what we had to do. Are all the flavors delicious? No. I don’t like wine. But is it their fault I tasted a wine/berry combo? Nope. The Caramels, CookieMonster, and NinjaTurtle were excellent. Definitely an experience and would recommend these for someone who enjoys one of a kind gifts.
These chocolates and chocolate covered strawberries were the best gift ever! ❤
One of my favorite places in Dallas to go for a little treat! They are pricey but so worth it!! My favorites are the Mango Habanero and the Raspberry, but I have yet to have a chocolate I didnt like from Kate Weiser. They also make beautiful gifts as each chocolate is hand painted and an art piece as much as it is a delicacy.
I have purchased Carl (the snowman that melts into drinking chocolate) for the last three years and he never disappoints! Such a sweet treat on Christmas Eve for our family. We also use Carl as gifts for our friends.
Overpriced at $2.50/ea. And every one of the chocolates I purchased had a dark chocolate shell, which in my opinion was not the best for all the flavors profiles, and had I known this prior to purchasing them, I would not have. This was a spontaneous purchase decision to try them out, and this will be my last. They also have macaroon cookies, too, but I didnt really look them over. And a couple seasonal chocolate creations, like fingers and snowmen. Just be warned they will be $$$
Kate and her crew are without a doubt making some of the finest chocolate in Dallas. Well made in her little shop, getting a box of confections feels more like getting a Christmas gift. Sure, its not an every day kind of exchange, but as a time to time luxury, there is no better way to spend your money.
Misleading, I was pretty excited to try these chocolates considering how cute their appearance is. To my sad discovery, these arent flavored chocolates. They are just *thin* cool looking chocolate shells filled with fruity goo inside. Not even at least fudge. Was pretty disappointed considering I was craving chocolate. The goo stuff wasnt bad but was not very tasty, definitely not worth the price paid ($16 for a box of 6 little pieces). There was one flavor in particular that a friend and I both chose and we couldnt even finish. It tasted rotten and smelled like an old persons morning breath (the flavor had something to do with honey or hazelnut but clearly was not). Youre basically just paying for something cute to take a picture of and the goo stuff. Never coming here for chocolate again (Dude, Sweet Chocolate might be a better pick for chocolate lovers)
Their holiday chocolates were so creative. Shopping here is always a treat in more ways than one—very friendly, happy place!
Do you like art???...Do you like chocolate??...How about macarons??...This is the spot to visit for all three.(I recommend the blueberry macaron🤤)
This chocolate is incredible! Although the price per piece is $2.50, they are very decadent and unique. Loved the truffle honey and the salted caramel pieces!
For the price of these chocolates you’d be better off buying a Herseys bar. Most of the assortments Kate and her sou chefs have come up with taste awful and quiet frankly lame( Buttery Popcorn?!?) . I mean come on a “Carl” could of come up with a better snowman name than that? My family and friends won’t be supportive of her sales in chocolate and I hope more people find out just how lame it is to pay $3.00 for a Reese’s cup.
The Hot Chocolate was great on a cold night in Dallas. This is such a unique chocolatier so if youre a chocolate fan this is a must visit!
I have been obsessed with these chocolates ever since I was gifted an assorted box of them for Valentine’s Day a couple years ago. There is not one flavor I don’t like! They’re so tasty and so beautiful!
Way to expensive for how they tasted. Didnt like the inside filling. I would save your money and go to one of the better chocolate places in Dallas. Definitely needs work to get me to try again. Save your money not worth it.
Ridiculously good! Fun place to visit in the super fun Trinity Groves area. Friendly staff, owner very friendly! So so good!
Handcrafted chocolates that melt in your mouth, but also your wallet. Very expensive. They also sell macaroons and sorbets. The passionfruit sorbet was so refreshing and smelled amazing.
Kates hand-crafted chocolates are jewels that melt into amazing tastes. Great for gifts. But not until you have sampled a few for yourself.
Mia was very helpful, smile on her face, and helped us celebrate my mothers 60th bday dessert.Kate weiser offers taste testers and friendly service. Definite place to go with friends and family.
A small place with Japanese snacks and homemade Mochi. Had the blueberry with white bean that you could buy by the piece. Flavors were excellent. Support this local business! Also the assorted fruit flavored mochi was excellent!
There chocolate is decent but the taste is nothing super special in my opinion, especially for the prices. Youre paying for the hand painted artistic nature of them. Personally I think its a waste of money to spend so much money on that. For the most part the flavors are solid. There have been a couple that were a bit questionable. Theyve got a large variety which I like and Ive never had to wait in a long line. They seem yo do a consistently steady business. But if I dnt good standout tasting chocolate then there are other places Ill go. Ill come here only if imin the Trinity Groves area and dont feel like cake.
Fast service. Yummy chocolates.
