Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience here. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it took over 30 minutes for us to get our coffee. I understand they were fairly busy, but didn’t seem overly busy and we could tell we weren’t the only ones frustrated. They also seemed like they had plenty of staff, and so I’m not sure what took so long. A couple other customers also had to ask about their order and make sure they weren’t accidentally skipped. I give them a second star because the coffee we ordered was actually quite good. Not enough to go out of the way for though. Also, seemed pretty pricey for a coffee that wasn’t very big. Even at Starbucks you can get a much larger coffee for $7-8. Can’t say I’m in a hurry to come back.
This is such a cute place set amidst downtown. Vibrant yellow colors mixed with soothing white all over! They have a nice small backyard for sitting area and it’s pretty. The drinks were not average though, but would really recommend for a place to chill with friends. ! ❤️ would for sure visit it again for the ambience! The glasses also have cute quotes written on it! 😋
This is honestly one of the best cafes I’ve been to in Dallas. First, the place is so aesthetic, it’s yellow themed and looks happy without over-killing it. I thought it would be really tiny from the outside but it’s fairly spacious. I love everything about it! Next, the workers were literally some of the NICEST people! Good service just makes everything taste better in my opinion and they understood the assignment. The baristas welcome you with enthusiasm and the person who took my order was super helpful and know what coffee you’d prefer based on your taste! I was so impressed. Ok now to the coffee, which I can describe with one word: AMAZING. It was the perfect combination of sweet and espresso bitter-y that I had to buy TWO drinks while I was there. With all my time living in Dallas I haven’t been able to find a good iced coffee that wasn’t too sweet or too bitter until I came to La La Land. I’m not joking when I say I loved everything about it and they have a wide variety of flavors! I plan to try some of their food options next time I go but overall THE BEST! I was doing work while I was there, so the only thing was that it was a little difficult focusing because of how loud they play the music but the coffee, design and service were EXCEPTIONAL regardless.
A friend recommended this location for breakfast, so her and I met here in the morning for a quick bite to eat and some iced matcha lattes! It was my first time here, and it did not disappoint. I got the hazelnut toast with an iced milk and honey matcha latte. She ordered the queen avocado toast and an iced lavender bloom matcha latte. We arrived pretty early around 9:30 AM so we got our orders fairly quickly. However, as the morning went on, we could hear the baristas telling incoming customers that it would be at least a 20 minute wait. Parking is a bit limited so just be mindful of that if you are planning on dropping in for a visit. I’d definitely recommend checking out this cute coffee shop!
One of my new favorite coffee places to go to. I love the atmosphere of this place. Ive gone back on many different occasions to try different drinks and Ive like just about all of them! The staff is super friendly and helpful when deciding on what to choose, even if its busy! I do wish they used a different brand of oat milk that would blend better with some of their drinks, but if youre not picky like me, it would do just fine. One thing to note is that their drinks run on a sweeter side. If thats your thing youre in good company, I always ask to have 1/2 the sweetener and my drink nearly come out perfect. I love coffee and this is a great place to treat yourself. Can get a bit pricey but competitive to other coffeeshops around.
Great place to study!! The avocado toast and strawberry chia seed pudding are both so yummy. Iced chai latte and lavender vanilla latte iced are awesome. Their coffee has really great depth in flavor but it isnt too strong. Maybe get an extra espresso shot if youre a caffeine addict!I also love the perfect latte. So delicious!!
What a cheery place! Theres no interior seating available at the moment due to social distancing guidelines, but there is plenty of space outdoors! With the weather cooling down, this is a great spot to stop and buy coffee for a good cause 💛The staff was kind. The drinks were good. Would recommend and will return!!
Friendly staff, nice clean inside and outside porch. Clean bathroom. Great tasting drinks and deserts! Will definitely come back soon
The staff was AMAZING!! They help you out and try to recommend something you’ll like. I love coffee don’t get me wrong but this place just isn’t on my top 10 coffee places. They have pastries and other choices. There is no indoor seating but a lot of space outside. Super cute spot. Finding parking isn’t hard either.
Such a fun place! We love going here when we are in town for Dr appointments! It’s such a happy place (even the cups are happy!) and everyone who works here is so kind! My little one definitely loved herself some Jack! Check it out if you’re in Dallas!!
God I love being judged by the other patrons. Staff is as nice as can be. Drinks are always sweet, toast always dope.
I was first impressed by the mission of the cafe. It’s always nice to see good messages and causes. The staff was super friendly, and helpful in deciding what to get. I loved the Iced La La Latte that I got. It was creamy, flavorful and refreshing. The decor inside and out is really nice and clean. I love the yellow accents everywhere. Will definitely be coming back for more!
Super cute atmosphere! It was our first time so we got a free, delish, giant chocolate chip cookie! I got the la la latte & it was one of the best iced lattes I had in a while! We sat in the rocking chairs on the porch & enjoyed our delicious drinks out of the bright yellow & cheerful cups! Will definitely return next time in town. The surrounding shops & eateries are cute too.
My all-time FAVORITE coffee shop in Dallas! Beyond the adorable marketing, delicious drinks/food (the avocado toast is AMAZING and large enough to be shared) and great vibes, I love the mission behind the business in hiring youth whove aged out of the foster system. I will always choose La La Land if Im having coffee out!
Place was cute and trendy. I went with a friend to grab a drink. We werent planning on sitting down and drinking but we had to because it was so adorable. We both ordered the La La Matcha Latte and it was spectacular.
First time customer here and the la la latte is perfect! Nice and sweet but not overpowering and perfectly balanced flavor. But.... I ordered the everything toast and received a plain slice of bread. Sad. I ordered through Uber so I’m not sure who is at fault, but very disappointed (and hungry) I didn’t get to try it :(
Super cute!! And the best part was there was so much parking lol. Great place if you are looking for specialty lattes.
I finally had the chance to visit La La Land Cafe yesterday and it was just lovely.. Ive heard such great things about it ever since they opened. Its such a darling, bright and cheerful place to visit with delicious coffee, teas, baked goods and light bites. I ordered the Rush Hour Latte and their Honey Strawberry Toast. I mean you cant go wrong with these beautiful fresh strawberries, honey and cream cheese right? One of the things that I love about this business is that theyre using fresh, honest ingredients and theyre doing what they can to impact the community in a positive way. I love their mission, their story and their cause.Pro tip: Parking isnt the best but I actually parked next door in the Trader Joes parking lot.Another tip.. they have a beautiful patio area and theyre patio is dog friendly.
The iced latte is one of the best I tried. It is a cutesy place, but maybe photo seems to be a little photoshopped. The color is not as vibrant as I saw in the photo.
A nice quaint coffee shop. good product and great atmosphere.
Ordered an oat milk matcha and it tasted really milk-y, so I double checked that it was oat milk (they said yes) - but then when I was almost done with my drink, my throat was closing up and I felt sick (I’m vegan and also allergic to milk products) so I went to the counter to check AGAIN, and this time another lady told me the foam on top was heavy whipping cream! No where on the menu did it have that description and I even checked when I tasted it. Tried to throw up, but couldn’t - felt so sick afterwards!
Great coffee and great taste but the staff and the customer service acts like theyre at a funeral. They definitely need more customer service happy smile and an upbeat attitude would help out a lot.....
Sweetest employees!! I didn’t know what to get & they helped me find my perfect match! I also love the atmosphere. It is minimalistic and clean. I also love the amount of natural light available!
This was our first time there and we waited for 40mins and still did not get our drinks. We asked the cashier for a refund but we would’ve been there for an hour considering the 4 people in front of us still did not have their drinks either. We will not be visiting again anytime soon. The place and drinks looked really cute, it was a shame we couldn’t try them.
They are so sweet!! We spilt our drinks and they instantly made us new ones, amazing customer service will definitely be coming back!!
I live in NC but l saw a TikTok @mattpeterson_ about your business and fell in love! Went to google it, saw you are in Texas 😭😭 and now I’m here. I absolutely love the concept! I love that it looks like cozy living room! Also LOVE THE MERCHANDISE! And employee seemed to be having a great time! We need more people/businesses like yours!
Love coming here!! Everyone is so sweet, my coffee is perfect every time and the food is delicious as well! Everything comes out fast and the atmosphere is unmatched!
Great atmosphere. Their signage of where to stand when ordering was a little confusing. Which got me called out by the person behind the counter (wasn’t very KIND) and booted to the end of the line behind three people. Other than that I enjoyed hanging out eating breakfast (Queen avocado toast) and drink on an upside down latte. Which were great!!
For coffee, I had the rush hour. It was so good! Delicious everything avocado toast with egg was outstanding. Beautiful and super clean place.
My wife and I stopped in on their opening day a couple months ago. I love the mission of this place to help foster kids gain employment skills in the hospitality industry. Along with their coffee and drink selection, they also have a small food menu and bakery as well. The chocolate chips cookies are big, delicious, and served warm.
I wish I could give a million stars! I had really been wanting to give them a try and finally had the chance, so we ended up opening the door but sadly they were actually closed. However Abigail offered us a cold brew or rush hour on the house! I was so blown away by the kindness and I was also so excited to try the rush hour because that’s what I was going to order! After she gave us our drinks she made sure everyone else who was hanging out outdoors was also taken care of. All around a great place and I will for sure be back during regular business hours!
Visited here for the first time after grocery shopping on Sunday morning. I usually don’t mention that it’s my first time when I visit places, but I’m glad I did. The cashier was so helpful - with a few probing questions, he was able to recommend a beverage I really enjoyed. And your delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies remind me of a little bake shop in NYC... thank you for being so kind and showing so much hospitality. I’ll be back for sure!
This place is amazing . They are newly local to Dallas and they provide jobs to foster kids to help them learn how To work and how to do their personal finances. Please go here and support them !! Their coffee is pretty good too, their staff are incredible and the environment/ ambiance is very clean, fresh and pristine.
Coffee was delicious and staff was super nice! I told the barista I was new to Dallas and this is my first time at La La and she gave me a cookie as a welcome to Dallas gift 😭
Waited 30 min for 2 drinks, served people behind me quickly, but had me waiting. Received 1st drink waited 10 min for second drink while serving people behind me. While other employees were just standing there staring out the window. Very bad costumer service.
Picked up a a big order and malakai helped me carry drinks to my car! Very clean inside and friendly staff! Recommend 100%
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I originally found it on social media and absolutely love the message they are sending to people. It’s cute and the employees are the best!
We stopped by to see if they were open yet since we have been moved by their purpose. It was their Soft Opening, and service was exceptional! The avocado toast was substantial, the Cardamon and Lavender Matcha Lattes were delicious as well. Definitely recommend the patio if the weather allows. Enjoy!
Love this cafe! The decor is so bright and fresh! The americano is lovely, and I like the stevia vanilla syrup. I’m a fan!!
So here’s the thing... went there of course because of the TX bucket list and foster kid hiring. It was cute. Cute little place for sure. However... way overpriced.... outside seating uncomfortable and nothing on walls about the place/founder or anything. They do appear to offer computers and it was packed with young crowd working/playing. Coffee was good. Maybe I expected too much 😕
I showed up only to pick up a coffee but ended up ordering honey strawberry toast as well for my son. Both were good, I would just add that the bread was a little hard to cut. I do want to try the avocado toast next time. That looked really good as they were serving it to other customers. I also spotted a delicious chocolate chip cookie I want to try asap. Luckily I’m close by!The staff was so sweet and welcoming. I enjoyed my time there. If you’re looking for a place to hangout for breakfast or catch up over coffee with a friend, this is a go-to!Instagram:@texaseatsandtreats
La La Land cafe has some of the best coffee in Dallas. I recommend the iced milk and honey latte. Although the prices are on the more expensive side, the positive attitude and productive pace of the workers is the reason this coffee location is five stars in my opinion.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Decor is adorable, they have a little spot for your pups while you’re inside, their food is delicious, and it’s some of my favorite coffee in the Dallas area. I usually always get the Strawberry Honey Toast and the Creme Brûlée latte... SO GOOD. Their mission is also such a good cause- so be sure to check that out as well. Do yourself a favor and stop by!
Coffee is a 5 out of 5 but the environment is very overwhelming. NOT a good place to go sit and have coffee with a friend.
Went there for a date. Date went bad
Great service! Delicious coffee!
Cannot say enough good things about this place. Staff is helpful and likes talking with customers. Nice ambiance and theres always space to be in. Really chill.
I was greeted by the barista warmly and the had nice coffee. It is really hot inside and when I asked the barista. She said she is not allowed to change the AC. I was literally sweating. I left early and went to Starbucks.
Great space in a really nice part of Deep Ellum. Clean, upscale and trendy design with a space outside for dogs and great outdoor seating. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Avocado toast is a must try with a creamy texture, some lemon and a hint of spice. Coffee is very good. Id highly recommend giving them a try and Ill be back.
Prepare to have your expectations exceeded and your heart strings pulled. This place is truly inspirational. The story is awesome but its not just face value. It truly runs deep. The staff is more engaged and on point than the majority of restaurants Ive been to and that is ridiculous. Ok so product. Had the marshmallow latte, see pic, was amazing and it was culinarily inspiring. Ambiance. Felt like the home I wish I could have grown up in. And people. Everyone has it in their eyes. You see the passion. The fire. The hunger to build not just an experience for the guest, sell holistic products, or serve a fancy cup of joe, but make you believe in their personal mission to better the lives the people around them. Do yourself a favor. Drink the koolaid and eat the cookies!!!
The staff here is amazing! Attentive, super friendly, and knowledgeable. We tried the French Toast latte (seriously the best sweet latte I have had in my entire life!) and the Jet Fuel (I didnt like it but the BF did, so probably just a preference thing.Definitely coming back to try the snacks!
Cutest place ever! Coffee is great & the staff always has the biggest smiles on their faces. Love it
Great place for remote work — love the millennial vibe
Blond cant be bothered to put a mask on properly. Gross.Update, she upgraded to a chin bra.
I love having coffee with my friends here. They have the best avocado toast!! It is a nice place to relax and meet friends. I love the outdoors patio.
My friend and I met for an evening coffee shop chat last night at La La Land Kind Cafe. I have driven by so many times over the past months as it was being built wondering what the shop would be. I finally stumbled across an article about the concept on Instagram and was immediately hooked. I suggested my friend and I meet at La La Land last night not realizing the cafe was not yet open. We walked in after hours of their soft launch and were greeted by the friendly staff. We were the only customers in the shop.We were ready to take a pamphlet about the housewarming this upcoming Saturday and walk out, but the barista offered us an iced matcha latte. He said we were welcome to hang around for a couple hours. We made our way to the back patio with our drinks and La La Land-branded hats that a staff member went downstairs to dig up for us in hand.We were chatting and taking photos of the 5-star insta-worthy patio when the barista walked out with a tray of avocado toast and giant, warm chocolate chip cookies on the house. Everything was delicious. The avocado toast was fresh and had the perfect hint of lemon. The cookies were warm and gooey and HUGE.The interior features exposed wood beams, a sprawling counter, and seating around a fireplace, serving the coziest living room vibes. It is obvious that hard work and thoughtfulness went into every single detail of the property.I have never walked into a more warm and welcoming cafe! I have never had better customer service. The concept is everything our community needs - foster kids aging out of the system being provided the opportunities they deserve and taking full advantage by pouring their hearts into their jobs.La La Land Kind Cafe is the perfect name for this gem in Lower Greenville. Kind vibes all around. I cant wait to come back!
We had the Hazelnut toast and iced lattes they was good the toast was great..
This place is so wonderful and what amazing service! It was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon, but that didn’t keep Faith from making us feel so very welcome! My fiancé works at a coffee shop and she noticed the name on the hat he was wearing and made sure to give us wonderful recommendations! Lively atmosphere and great staff!
Very nice welcoming environment, loved the coffee better than Starbucks any day!
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in DFW. If you like matcha, I recommend the lavender bloom matcha. Its sooo good. I had the everything toast this last time and it was heavenly.
Beautiful coffee shop, really good coffee, better customer service. I will come back here for sure
Love the atmosphere, staff was friendly and kind, very welcoming.Coffee was AMAZING!Gotta stop here!
Visited for the first time last week and loved it! What a cool atmosphere.
The customer service at this place is excellent! The employees were very pleasant. I received a free cookie for it being my first visit and the place overall just has very good vibes.
This place is very quaint, and the people were friendly. The coffee is flavorful, but not strong for it having shots of espresso in it.
Love love love this place. Best avocado toast! Great coffee as well. Favorite place to get breakfast.
Great coffee, horrible timing. When you place an order online, it says it will be ready in 5min... though when you get there to pick it up, you still have to wait 20min to get your coffee.
