Native had some of the most complex coffees I have ever had. The presentation on all of their coffees was also incredible. All around fantastic coffee shop!
This is a great place to meet up with people and grab a quick pastry. I would say if youre more of an iced coffee drinker, the coffee is fair. I imagine the coffee is better hot. Not my favorite but its decent. Ive been a few times because the atmosphere is great especially on a nice day when you want to sit outside. I just wish they had outdoor outlets that work. Staff was also pretty friendly.
I was blown away by their latte recipes as well as their open design. Make sure to bring a power strip if you have a laptop though.
Looked like a master was perfecting his work making this coffee but I was defeated by its sophistication.I normally grab something off the signature menu if its something that sounds sweet, but if you are a coffee vet, give the battlestar galactica a go.- espresso tonic ~$5.The coffee was good, but it reminded me of beer. not really sweet, and its complex.Quiet place to get some good work in with plenty of tables, ill snoop around their insta to see if something in the future pops up for me to try again.
The almond milk tasted really funny in my iced mocha. All I could taste is almond milk. I don’t know that was used for the chocolate but there was a powdery consistency in the drink. It didn’t look like the drink was mixed before being poured into the cup. Really good vibes at this place though!
I spend a lot of time in coffee shops working and I appreciate detailed reviews from other people so I try to do that when I try out a new place. That being said, coffee was pretty good. Not mind blowing but decent espresso. I had an iced oat latte and it was good. They had a nice array of work spaces and seating options including nice tall tables/bars for working or chatting with friends. I like to have the option to stand while working and the tables were tall enough for this to be possible, so point there.Warning though, you might have to fight for the seating you want though. I went on a rainy Wednesday morning and it was pretty full the whole time I was there (about three hours). In terms of vibe I wasnt a huge fan. I dont have any specific complaints about the vibe or staff but it felt a little hollow if that makes sense. And at the risk of sounding like a Karen, the staff could have been more welcoming. I like going to coffee shops where the people want to make you feel welcome and at home in their space and the employees working the counter werent rude but they just gave bad vibes. I felt like theyd rather me not be there and it kind of soured my time spent there. And Im really not expecting the red carpet rolled out for me I just think a good coffee shop is one that makes people feel welcome and I would not say Native does this based on this one visit. All in all, it just felt like one of those coffee shops thats going for an aesthetic more than anything else. They got the aesthetic down mostly, but, for me, thats not what makes a good coffee shop.Of course if youre in the area and need a place to work or get coffee, it is definitely a good option. Its just not gonna be something I go out of the way for.
My absolute favorite coffee shop. I feel at home, this place is the definition of peace. Amazing staff, amazing coffee and amazing vibes
Absolutely delicious coffee! Very inviting atmosphere! Im from out of town and when i come back ill definitely be visiting here again! Pic is strawberry and thyme with an extra shot!
Precious shop in the corner of a business strip connected to a church. It’s rather unexpected, but so cute and worth the slight detour. My go-to test for any coffee shop I visit is a cappuccino. I’m fairly picky and require it to be offered in only one size (6-8oz) and needs to be made with skill. This shop met my base requirements. The cappuccino was the perfect size and even came with beautiful art. The foam was pretty thick and kept its form a good half way down or so. However, I’m rating down because I didn’t find the actual espresso to be very strong. Almost tasted watery? Like maybe it was made from americano with cappuccino foam? Idk. I think a stronger shot of espresso could up my rating to a full five stars because the place is precious and everything else was great. Not much in the way of food. There’s a pastry counter but we weren’t there for food. I loved the holiday/specialty drinks they had posted as well. I have a friend who would be all over that. There’s a good amount of seating as well.Because it’s covid times, everyone standing was in a mask and proper safety measures seemed to be in place.Overall a great experience and I’d try again.
I had a Soft and yummy cruffin and a nice cup of coffee. This place has a variety of seating areas including outside. They have a variety of coffees and non coffee beverages. They had a few tasty looking summer mocktails. I look forward to going back.
I love this coffee shop. I go 2-3 times a week. i love the guys down there, very friendly. best lattes in town for sure. they also dont kick me out for not wearing a mask which is extremely based. i appreciate everything they do! highly recommended.
Got the iced chai latte. & caramel latte with espresso. Very good taste. Good quality. I Recommend if youre looking for a new coffee joint. Only thing is.. The size :(. So tiny; even their largest cup. I finished it so quick. If suggest asking light ice to get a couple more sips in. Other than that. Great coffee
Friendly staff and delicious drinks! Will be coming here again soon even if it is just to get some work done. Great atmosphere!
Tre and Angel are a pure delight. This coffee shop feels like home as soon as you walk in, I sometimes spend 2-3 hours here. The ambiance is sweet, heartwarming, and soothing. The music is lively, gentle and calming. Native puts my heart at ease as soon as I walk in through their doors. MUST VISIT THIS COFFEE SHOP.
It was great place to have casual meeting outside of your office. Staff were super friendly and coffee was great.
FYI for those who cant consume caffeine for health reasons:. Oh, we dont have decaf. ☹️
Great place to study. I liked the music selection
Amazing pour over coffee. Prices definitely on the high side though!
Drinks were ok. The blonde barista was rude.
First time there and I really liked it! The shop is very clean, spacious and contemporary, but including earthy elements that look amazing. I ordered their Panama-El Letrero brew and their cold Denali seasonal drink, really liked both! Will definitely come back! I just had a hard time finding the menu, found pictures of the wall behind the counter and the seasonal drinks but not their brews, I looked on their website and Google links, are they listed somewhere else?
Cool place and I was excited to try it but no one inside was wearing a mask. The two workers at the counter had them on but no patrons did and there was no socialdistancing and it was crowded. I know this is a tough place for businesses in Texas to be in with as contentious as mask wearing had become. I felt uncomfortable. On another note. The to-go Cortado I bought was tasty. But I don’t think I’ll come back at least fir a while.
Clean place, cool atmosphere, very nice employees. The best coffee Ive had since I left Alaska. Its only a few miles from my house and my iced breve latte didnt make the trip lol.
Best coffee shop in Dallas and Best atmosphere hands down! 👍👍
Enjoyed a truly exceptional v60 pour over here. In my experience most coffees that cost $6-10 per cup are good but not markedly better than a good drip. The Colombian natural Shady Bader was worth savoring, justified the extra cost, and even my son Henry appreciated the delicate aromatics and buttery mouthfeel. He’s two.
Excellent place to work on your laptop or just chill. There is a large conference area in the back that was fully occupied when I was there. The space itself is pretty big and laid out openly. Comfy couches and lots of table space. Friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of beans. I had a V60 of the Ethiopian that was well made. The glassware they use is pretty cool too. They only have some muffins if you’re looking for a bite but the barista recommended a deli nearby for lunch. Parking is also ample as it is kind of in a large plaza. Will definitely make it back again in the future!
Coffee is AMAZING here. Really great and kind people that work here as well. Definitely recommend!
Live like the locals, meet at native. this motto sums up the concept of native coffee. i stopped in on a last minute decision as i was about to drive back to houston from dallas. and it was the best decision! i love the whole decor, vibe & aesthetic. it is a large space with several seating options -- stools, couches, chairs. and several sockets to plug in any electrical device. the barista i had (i so wish i had gotten his name) felt super bad for cutting me off while i was initially ordering and made my drink (caramel latte) on the house. while i insisted that it wasnt necessary because i totally understood, he said he didnt want my first impression of the business to be that earlier interaction. so i obliged him ;) the latte was quite delicious and just what i needed for the road trip back to houston. i cannot wait to return to native coffee when i come back to dallas to visit my brother & his family. xx
Definitely productive place to sit in for the weekend morning and get things done. But the could offer at least more variety in food.
I wish you guys could bake a cake which tastes the same as the your Drip coffee. I’ve not been disappointed whatever I ordered. The crew is just flawless. When they are out of your order, they come up with additional discount or other solution. The best place in the area. Thanks!
I wish I had found Native Coffee Co. when I lived in the area - great space, friendly owners and amazing coffee. The cold brew was refreshing and I had a hard time choosing between their seasonal drinks. I went with the Smokey Mountain latte and was not disappointed. Cant wait to go back and try the others.
This place is low-key but so good!
Great place for a casual business meeting or to just get work done outside the house. I love their unique menu that changes seasonally! Modern, cozy, free wifi, yummy drinks, pleasant atmosphere. Were grateful to have Native Coffee as part of our Farmers Branch business community.- Grace Speese, Exec. Director, Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce
Great vibes! My latte was delicious. Perfect coffee shop set up for work, reading, or quiet conversations. Will definitely return.
Best coffee shop in town, great people great coffee!
Awesome coffee, place is very cool and you want to sit and stay to relax :)Bakery are “ok”, but you’re going to native for the coffee not for bakery
Absolutely disgusting way to advertise your coffee along with your brand name. People are offended. Id stay away from people holding hot coffee!
Can always expect great service at Native! They serve Edison beans and pay special attention to quality. Only downside is it can be very crowded at peak times :/
I went for the first time today because some colleagues and I wanted coffee and to support local business. While the coffee was good, I was extremely uncomfortable with the lax level of safety precautions. The mask requirements stated that masks could be removed as soon as the coffee was served, and since it’s served at the counter, people were wandering around maskless. Tables were not socially distanced at all, and even the people making and serving coffee were constantly pulling masks up and down to chat with each other and patrons. There were no indications at all of social distancing while waiting. While I waited for my to-go drinks, I felt like I had to keep moving away from people, and ultimately stood in the corner. Sadly I probably won’t be back.
Really good service and with a good single origin selection.
My words would be: Calm. Native Flavor. Art.This wonderful and very committed team delivers a kind experience of real coffee desire.
Amazing quality! Awesome CORTADO
Delicious coffee and welcoming atmosphere!
Great coffee and great atmosphere to chill or study.
EDIT After owners response:No need, I have been back since and was not disappointed. The first review was strictly over coffee/ latte quality, not on customer service or anything else. It depends on who you get as a barista tbh, the first time I got a girl, she might have been new. Due to convinient location, and fact that theres barely any other decent coffee shop in area, I have been back several times. Since I have been back the guys made my lattes and I saw nothing wrong with them. I also want to mention Im coffee enthusiast so will notice things other people usually wont. I definitely dont want to effect anybodys business by leaving low rating and I see somebody running a good business and working hard, theres no reason to leave a poor review so please accept my apologies.First review :Their baristas are not an expert in making coffee, just random people who are not properly trained. They heat up the milk to the point of boiling and not only does it takes away all the sweetness from it but it also makes terrible lattes. Please dont just only invest in good espresso machines but also invest in well trained baristas.
Lots of space. Great customer service. Very patient with me as it was my first time there. Latte was yummy!
My most favorite coffee shop!
Native coffee has my favorite espresso / macchiato in DFW! .. not to mention friendly people and fast internet. A great place to meet to have a work meeting or hang out!
Amazing tasting espresso and excellent customer service :)
This is a really nice place in terms of ambience, be it for a coffee with friends to unwind or to pop in and get some work done over a cup of coffee. The coffee itself is amazing. Their drip is one of the best Ive had around Dallas. I also had the latte, which is decent as well. The staff is very friendly, so overall its a definite 5 stars!
Oh man. This place is just fantastic. They truly know how to do coffee. Their seasonal drinks were so well designed and incredibly tasty. They know how to do espresso and pour overs. Really nice staff and a great vibe inside. Thanks, guys!
This is a wonderful shop with extremely friendly and out going staff. With only being in town for a few days and finding this place I was pleasantly surprised! Great coffee selections and an inviting atmosphere makes you feel welcome. If you get the opportunity stop in and and enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee.
I didnt have time to actually by anything, but we used the fantastic glassed in conference room they offer in the back of the coffee shop. The entire shop is very nice. Ill be back - and Ill be sure to update my review after trying their coffee!
Sadly only one type of sweetener and if you do not like stevia..., big place with lots of seating
So the atmosphere is light and the Baristas were fantastic. I asked for a recommendation and what I got was the strawberry mountain, which was absolutely delicious, like turned around went back inside and grabbed a second one delicious. The location is a little out of the way but totally worth the trip.
This is my favorite coffee shop! The people are wonderful, the coffee is delicious, and the environment is awesome! Thanks for running such a great place!
Native is awesome! I love going there! It is vibrant and peaceful all in one. Super great atmosphere to work or chat. Love the coffee and tea! Highly recommend the Saigon tea. I took a friend there recently and she said her Pumpkin Spice Latte was the best she had ever had! Native is definitely my go to coffee place now!
One of my favorite coffee shops! The people are great, easy to study! I love how open and bright it is!
I order espresso and it took them 15mint lol funny eh and it comes out same taste of espresso as from any other coffee shops. They r just slow
Adorable and vegan friendly! Had a work meeting where we sat outside. The service was king and fast allowing us to get to our conversation quickly.
Super helpful staff! Great coffee with many dairy free options. (Get the oat milk!)
Good coffee, good service.
Update: Service was improved from the last time I came. The owner contacted me after I had an unpleasant experience and I went back to give this place another try. I was much happier with the service and with my drink as well. I brought a few people with me too to try it out and they enjoyed it very much. I had The Floridian and it was fantastic. So glad I came back. I recommend it for sure, mostly because they really made an effort to give me a better experience.
WONDERFUL little coffee shop! My husband and I love to come here after our Saturday morning workout for a cold brew or a pour over. The folks behind the counter are always extremely friendly and helpful. Many times they have asked for our names so that they can remember us during our next visit. The coffee quality is fantastic! There is plenty of room for seating at either tables or a lovely couch area. One thing I especially want to point out is the cleanliness of not only the seating area, but the bathroom as well. Plenty of feminine products should you ladies need them. Thanks for providing all of our caffeine needs, Native!
Only tried the drip coffee here at this point, its very good they used Edison roasters I believe. I tend to review coffee joints solely by their espresso. Ill come back and change the review up or down after that.Atmosphere is great, open, well lit, fast internet. Its a crowd of college kids and young professionals based on its proximity to Brookhaven and Vetruvian. Highly recommend.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS COFFEE SHOP!! They have the BEST baristas that are always smiling and welcoming. Just to shout y’all out, Asa, Noelle, and Trey have always brightened my day by remembering my name when I walk in the doors. I can always count on their quality coffee and amazing service. Thank you for making Dallas so much better!!
