On the surface, you would think this is just another coffee shop ducked off on some backroad. But once you actually go in you find out that coffee is actually secondary to the church that its attached to!The coffee is cool. Nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere is very energetic and positive (people were coming in and out of praise and worship) which makes the coffee drinking experience a lot more enjoyable. If anything, come by here in the morning while people are hanging out and dipping in and out of the church. Its definitely a vibrant atmosphere that anyone who likes visiting coffee shops will really enjoy!

Don’t miss out on this coffee just because the negative reviews about it being on a church property. The coffee shop is separate and you walk right into the coffee shop entrance not the church. They’re coffee was amazing! I got the lavender coffee on ice. I enjoyed it and will be back, thank you!

Hands and rose has awesome coffee and drinks. Whether you want iced or hot theyll serve it with a heart warming smile and with delicious flavor. It is located within upper room church. It is a spot you would not regret supporting and presents a community you want to be involved in. I highly recommend supporting Hands and Rose.

Love this place! Joni and the team are awesome! This is inside Upper Rooms main entrance so if you see the UR Dallas sign outside youre at the right place. I had their single origin drop coffee today and its delicious.

The coffee was pretty good - didn’t blow me away. They didn’t seem too proud of their current roaster, Middle State in Colorado. Perhaps there’s a rotation. Whatever the case, it was wildly overpriced ($4 Cortado!) and the people were unenthusiastic. Difficult to find the shop but I didn’t totally mind. All that said, it was a fun place to visit and I’d recommend trying it at least once. Aesthetic is nice and it made for good people-watching.

Let’s start with the good - coffee was fresh and delicious. Also, fairly priced. Service with a smile! However, weird culty vibes. Thankfully, no one asked me to pray. Unfortunately, the cup’s lid was cheap and kept leaking! They need a better sign as well. Very hard to find.

It was...alright. I got a vanilla latte. The house made vanilla syrup, and the drink it was in, was really good. The baristas didnt seem enthused or interested about people they didnt know personally. The person who DID seem interested...not sure if a student of the church associated or what...was a bit too interested. Definitely cut my visit short. The space was nice and I liked the instrumental music in the background. Ill probably hunt down a different coffee shop next time though.

First very good coffee, and delicious muffin. But, the coffee shop is part of a non-profit church/cult and meant to reel you in. I was asked twice if I would like to pray. One cult member even followed me outside and stopped me to ask if I wanted to sit down and pray with him. He, even tried to build rapport. In summation, good coffee, cult like atmosphere. On a side note, half my family is Jewish. So, yeah..... Jesus (born and died Jewish) is more like a butler in my family. He helped deliver the word of God, like the rest. But he wasnt anything more.

I like it here, excellent food & service. Certainly worth going back to. The bill was fair. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.

Love the quality. Pastries are gourmet, not mass produced (met the baker, she does it right). Baristas were really friendly. Its a small cafe, located in the lobby of a church, which seems to have enough traffic during the week to keep the cafe open. I love coming to this Cafe every time Im in that area.

I stumbled upon this coffee shop simply by searching for coffee in Google maps. I was in Dallas for work and had about 30 minutes to kill. This coffee shop is affiliated with the UR Dallas church that meets on site in the same facility. The signage out front is confusing; the only way I knew I was going to the right spot was because of other reviews and it saying suite 111 in the address. Overall, my experienc of the coffee shop was good, but I did feel some odd/strange vibes while being in there. The prices were great; same price no matter was size. $2 drip coffees and teas.

This was like being in a coffee house in a movie - quaint and charming right in the middle of a highly urban environment. The seating was casual, the art was local (as were the scrumptious pastries), and the coffee was very good.

This is a church.Yes, they serve coffee, but we’re put off by the fact that churches don’t pay taxes and neither do their coffee shops. It’s a shame, the coffee looked good, but we refuse to contribute to the tax-exempt scheme.

Very good coffee, but they do not have McFlurries or Puppacinnos for dogs. Tried to order a McFrappe as well didn’t have that either. I guess I will go to McDonald’s for Mcflurries and come to Hands and Rose for good coffee.
