Best chocolate cookies Ive had in my life! I ordered a box by mail and was blown away. Decadent, moist and fudgy. The oatmeal raisin cookies are also excellent. Plus, they came in a cute box with confetti. I highly recommend Tart bakery and hope to enjoy many more cookies in the future!

I ordered 2 dozen tutu cupcakes for my daughters 2nd birthday and they were better than I could have imagined! They looked great and tasted even better! Will definitely be back!

We love Tart! Darling bakery with delicious sweet treats. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried the petit fours, cheesecake and french macarons and all were delicious! Well be back.

This is the only place I will order my cakes from! They have the most delicious flavors that don’t have that overpowering extract taste like most other bakery’s cakes have. I am not a fan of fondant, so their buttercream icing work is impeccable. (All pictures I’ve attached are buttercream). Their sugar cookies are so delicious and not overly sweet or soft. Also their macarons are decadent. LOVE LOVE LOVE tart! I have referred so many friends and family too. Been a customer since 2011.

Sam and the team at Tart Bakery did an amazing job with the desserts at our wedding. We opted to skip the traditional wedding cake but still wanted delicious desserts for our guests. Sam recommended mini-cakes and Petit Fours that we’re the hit of our guests😋

I have been to several bakeries in Dallas and Tart is definitely the best in my opinion. I have had several birthday cakes from Tart, and all were awesome. They make the only red velvet cake that I like. The owners were even kind enough to gift us a box of pastries that they are looking to add to their menu and of course it was delicious.

We used tart for our bridal and grooms cake. The flavors were spot on from what we tried at the tasting. The cake was moist and delicious.

Ive been frequenting Tart for the last few months and (most) everything Ive had has been delicious. The rum balls are great. Last week I had a little white cake bite that was SO YUMMY! They have gluten-free deserts, delicious cheese cakes. The lemon tarts, red velvet cupcakes are top notch. I prefer soft cookies and these are usually on the firm side, but still taste good (nothing against quality).

Tart Bakery did an excellent job baking our wedding cake! We came to them after reading so many great reviews and were able to schedule a complimentary tasting with 4 cake flavors of our choice. They were all absolutely delicious, so much so we didnt even bother going to the other baker we were planning to see that day! Through out the rest of the planning process (which was done over a distance) they were very helpful in having us choose a design for our cake, and provided a clear and well priced quote. The cake we received on our wedding day was delicious!! It looked perfect, like it had been lifted out of the picture we had sent them for reference! I would highly recommend Tart Bakery for wedding cakes or anything else!

The artisan chocolates at Tart Bakery are amazing. Made with the best ingredients, the finished chocolates are beautiful. Flavors that I love can include apricot and passion fruit. When I walk in, Im greeted warmly by staff who know what theyre doing and care about their baked goods, chocolates, and pastries. I love this bakery ... thanks Tart!

This bakery is the utmost horrific and disappointing bakery I have ever been to!I will NEVER use TART BAKERY again.To begin, I ordered my first gender reveal cake two weeks in advance from Tart. I specifically told the bakery that I needed the inside of the cake to be a specific color with specific color candy and told the bakery it was a gender reveal cake. I sent the design of the cake and my requested specifications via email to the bakery. Bakery responded back to me claiming that the cake would be made to specification and that the inside of the cake would be “specific color” with “specific candy”. Initially, I was very excited to order from Tart because they were recommended from a family member (Side Note: That family member will never order from Tart again as this bakery messed up orders for family member as well).Gender reveal day rolls around and all of my family and friends are in attendance. Not to mention, I had family travel in to the Dallas area from out of town. I cut into the cake (while my family was taking pictures and videoing) and pull out the first slice of cake - and to my amazement and horrification - the inside of the cake was white with no sign of the “specific color I ordered for the inside of the cake anywhere”. Of course, how embarrassing and what a nightmare.I was obviously upset about the incident because having the cake made was the only type of gender reveal surprise we did for our family and friends. The following day, I called the bakery and spoke to Nancy Major (co-owner of the bakery). I informed her what had happened with the cake and she apologized and asked how she could fix it. I told her she could refund my money because of how major their mistake was for such a big moment that was ruined. She informed me that that was not an option and that the only thing she could do was issue me a gift card to use at the bakery. A GIFT CARD FOR SUCH A MAJOR SCREW UP ON THEIR BEHALF? I would be embarrassed to offer a gift card if I ruined someone’s special moment so bad. Side Note: I deal with my own clients too and I would never treat a client like this. I told her that her offer of the gift card was unacceptable and that I would only accept a refund. She proceeded to tell me again that that was not an option. I told her that a gift card was unacceptable because I would never order from Tart Bakery again after their major screw up with my gender reveal cake and the customer service I was receiving. Literally, who would go back to a bakery after they SEVERELY messed up a gender reveal cake? Let alone, my and my husband’s first gender reveal! I informed her that I would be sure to share my experience with others.I am so irate about this incident!!! Tart Bakery ruined one of the most important and precious events in my and my family’s lives.They ruined so many memories and my gender reveal announcement party with family and friends. They did not just lose me as a customer, they also lost my family members (as customers) who previously had made multiple, multiple orders from the bakery, as well as orders from other family and friends whom I have informed about the incident. Hopefully they will not treat future customers like so.Again, this is a bakery I would NEVER recommend to anyone and would highly recommend never using this bakery for an event!!

I am legitimately surprised by some of the negative reviews on here. Tart is beyond the shadow of a doubt the best bakery I have ever been to. I was first introduced to Tarts cakes when my bosss wife threw a party for one of our employees. From the moment I first tasted one of their cakes I knew that I was tasting something special. Their cake is simply the moistest, tastiest cake Ive ever had. Fast forward a couple of years and I am now married and want to make my wifes birthday special. The answer: Tart. They made for her a ruffled white cake that looked like something out of a movie. It was just so perfect looking. Upon request, they lightly dusted it with edible glitter. My wife was blown away with how beautiful it was and we all loved eating it (I ordered way too much and we ate cake for days on end, which is a nice problem to have. Haha). Moreover, the woman who worked at the counter (I cant recall her name) was very helpful and she made the process very easy. Lastly, I would like to reiterate my opening comments that those who gave this place a bad review are off their rockers. I dont know what kind of magical cupcakes of the gods you lucky few have been exposed to, but us mere mortals (read: not the self proclaimed food critics) Tart is about as close to cake heaven as one can get.

So beware if you order a King Cake from this bakery. My job has a tradition of getting king cakes every year and whoever gets the baby in the cake buys the cake the following year. I ordered the cake from here since they are on Haute livings list for 5 best king cakes so we decided to try them out. We picked up the cake and specifically asked the owner was the baby in the cake because most times its given on the side but he assured us it was already in the cake. Upon inspection of the cake it was clearly sunken on one side but no big deal its just cake. So I got everyone together and we got through the whole cake and there was no baby! And of course the whole cake has to be gone through to see if theres a baby so I cant even take the cake in to prove it. I called the manager and asked if he could refund me or give us another cake. He couldnt refund but offered to make another at a discounted price..WHAT? So not only did they mess up our cake but then want to charge me for another cake..a cake that is basically just a cinnamon roll. That is terrible customer service and I will never order from here again. If this was my business I would want to do the right thing and give the customer what they ordered.

We have been very happy with the quality of goodies from Tart. The new owners will bend over backwards to make your order right. The cookies are yummy and super cute. Need a special design? They will nail it! And oh my, the cupcakes!! Delicious!! They are super nice and aim to please. You won’t be sorry.

This is the best bakery in town. We visited 5 bakeries to sample wedding cakes. Not only was Tarts the best, it was also the least expensive. Other wedding cakes we tried were dry, bland, or even frozen ahead of time. Not here.Our wedding was 9 months ago and people are STILL telling me how much they loved the cake Sam made for us. The lemon curd cake was so fresh, light, and unexpected without being too out-there for my uber-traditional groom. It was the hit of the night.Finally, Ill just say that Tart was the best vendor I worked with in the whole wedding process. Every phone call was returned quickly. They did what they said they would on time without reminders. They explained everything about what was and wasnt included. They didnt charge a fortune for delivery like others wanted to. Nobody tried to talk me into something bigger or fancier. In fact, the design I wanted was kind of simple and old-hat. Im sure it wasnt particularly exciting or fun for Sam, but there was zero ego or push-back. He just wanted us to love our cake, and we did!

We finally tried this wonderful bakery and loved it! The cake balls are amazing! I would highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies too.

We emailed this business asking for more information and if there is a certain minimum purchase on cakes etc because we are having a relatively small wedding (~ 40 people). Unless youre having a big wedding, they clearly do not want your business because theyve completely ignored our email. A courtesy reply would have sufficed.IN ADDITION - THE BELOW RESPONSE IS A LIE. Tart, YOU DID NOT RESPOND. Seems bakeries have gotten completely obnoxious with 100+ limits, paid tastings etc. Dont lie just because you received a bad review based on my experience. Im not stressed about my wedding, I think this industry is out of control and you are part of the problem.

I used Tart Bakery for my wedding favors in 2005 after seeing them at a local bridal show. They made miniature tarts (some fruit tarts, some chocolate ganache) and put each one in an individual clear plastic box. They were perfect for favors, and we also ordered some of their full-sized tarts to have while me and my bridesmaids were getting ready. I LOVE their coconut cream tarts (cant resist going in to get one every once in a while, which is usually a few times a year), and I have recommended them to several friends who have also had good experiences there. I love that it is a family/sister-run business, and that they are so personal with their customers. Highly recommended.

Things here taste as wonderful as they look! Ive tried a few different desserts - all delicious. The owners are also incredibly nice and very focused on customer service!

Tart provided my family’s Thanksgiving and Christmas desserts this past year. I can’t say enough about the bourbon pecan pie! It was a hit! They also had very friendly service!

The follow up and customer service is the most horrible experience I have had.I scheduled an appointment with Alondra for a wedding cake tasting and showed up at 10am as scheduled. They were not opened and before the had the courtesy to do so, Laura looked at her phone to check on the time.Once they let us in, they had to look for my paperwork just to precede to say they had canceled my appointment (with out notice).They had a number of excuses and Laura was very argumentative, never did she show empathy.Very disappointing over all

We absolutely love the cakes at Tart! The new owners, staff and cake designers are wonderful and interested in making sure you walk away with exactly what you want. This is the only place we go for custom birthday cakes!

I used them for my wedding cakes in December 2017 and can’t even begin to tell you what an amazing experience it was. They tasted delish and they looked incredible! People are still raving about how delicious they were. Sam was super helpful and the shop is the cutest. I cant recommend them enough!!!!!

It was beautiful and delicious. Highly recommend the strawberry flavor. Shane was easy to work with and the price was great!

Incompetent!!! Cant even take an order correctly. Ordered a cake over the phone on Thursday to pick up Saturday. When I get there to pick it up I was told the payment did not go through. I asked why was I not called. They wrote down my contact number incorrect, which would lead anyone to believe the payment was probably typed in wrong as well because I know that there is no way the payment would have been declined. Nice way to ruin a party with no CAKE!!!!!

What a disappointment... Today was my 30th birthday & my mother had ordered the Lemon Raspberry Cake. It had no lemon flavor what so ever. It actually tasted like straight lard (ick!). This is the second time my mother has had an issue here. (If y’all are gonna charge the amount y’all do. Make sure it taste/Looks worth a darn.)

NEVER again will I buy from this place.I recently bought a hand made (roach made) birthday cake for my niece.When I got to the party, it was in full swing and everybody huddled around the table to see the cake before I lit the candle.Ive never heard screams like it. And this was the moms not the kids!! I opened the box to see a giant (2 inch) roach feeding on the top of the cake and another climbing up the side of the cake.My sister smashed the lid down and the cake flew onto the floor. All the 8 years olds rushed in to see what the screaming was all about. We just told them we had dropped the cake. I didnt want to give them all nightmares.The next day I went back to TART and demanded to see the manager, I was greeted by a really obnoxious woman, who obviously didnt believe me and immediately informed me that she could not authorize a refund unless I had proof, she suggested a photograph. Well, I nearly lost it, a photograph of a roach eating my cake. Hell, I didnt even want a refund, I wanted to tell them and any other customers that they were selling roach infested cakes and that I would NEVER buy from them again.I never even received an apology!You have been warned,

We have tried their hand made chocolates and lemon muffins and macaroons. I could have sworn my mouth was in heaven as all items were so pretty and flavorful.

Though I have enjoyed many of their creations, my favorite and the one I find myself talking about the most are the Bon Bons that they make! They are the little artisan chocolate bites of HEAVEN. My wife and I get them as often as we can, and they gone almost instantly. It is simply the best bakery in the city!

Entered near eleven, it wasnt packed. Nothing but pleasant experiences here. Feeling here is similar to a place in Columbus I liked.

We ordered Tart cupcakes for a bridal shower. The chocolate cake was dry and crumbly with no sweetness at all. The chocolate icing was overpoweringly sweet. When I called to complain, they were rude and felt that never would they create a poor cupcake. The taste of the cupcake was not near worth the price. I could have made better cupcakes with Betty Crocker.

Pies were expensive and didnt actually taste that good. Fruit fillings were lackluster, and the chocolate pie was almost inedible, which was kind of inexcusable given that this kind of pie is not that hard to make. Crusts were not bad, and the latticework was beautiful!

I loved my wedding cake and grooms cake!! But my girls had to pick it up for me and didnt have a good experience there. It was raining and the cake was in a shallow box with over half the cake exposed. They asked if there was something they could put over the top and the bakery said no and wouldnt help them figure out how to transport it safely. The cake was heavy and the box was flimsy . It made for a LONG hour drive for my bridesmaids

There is no better place to get a cake than at Tart Bakery!!! Me and my fiancé recently moved to dallas specifically to get married and was really specific on what we wanted our cake to look like. After searching for what we felt like was forever, we came across Tart and the service was more than great!!! They were very sensitive and helpful about creating the perfect cake for me and my fiancé. The process was simple. The staff was warm and welcoming. And everyone at the wedding loved the cake. I recommend anyone who wants to get a special cake created for them, Tart is the place to go : ) They also made my friend pretty baby shower cookies as well as my father an awesome cake.
