When I purchased my vehicle in 2016 this dealerships service department was one of the best when it came to customer service but now they are one of the worst. I have had my vehicle there 3 different times and neither time did they even take the time to check all the items I told them was wrong. Ive called and left messages for Management but no calls returned. Their prices are ridiculous based on their service. Stay clear of this KIA dealership!!!
I love the service at my dealership. The customer care team does an amazing job of getting your car in shop. They keep you updated on the progress of your car. They also give a summary of other things your car might need in the future or things to look out for. Great service overall.
Jake is excellent at what he does. He always goes above and beyond every time I visit. He is very honest and will give it to me straight. He doesnt upsell unnecessary items or services, rather, he will be persistent in making absolutely sure all the services recommended, needed, and then the extras are fully known to me as well as details and timelines if I ignore them. Southwest Kia has been a great dealership since I started with them. The most resent visit was to exchange my 2017 Forte to a new 2021 Forte which I truly love. Thanks to Kevin Baker who extended me a special invitation and a big thank you to Ricky Ogea who was there for me from start to finish. Alicia had us drive 45 minutes away to see a vehicle that was sold and made us believe it wasnt. I told her how far we live right before heading out to make sure the car we wanted wasnt sold already. We arrive and she tells us she will go get the keys, disappears for around 10 min, then doesnt even have the professionalism to come out and give us the news herself but sends someone else instead.Would like to also add that the car in question was not updated as sold online until 2 days later. So their replies about honesty are def questionable.

Then all the arrangements once we got the numbers...Jonathan picked me up T the airport, stopped and let me get lunch and then drove me to the dealership while I ate!! I was very upset and confused about what was going on with my KIA 2021 Soul.Manager immediately was able to explain what was happening with my car.And I was quickly put at ease.Manager also gave me a Courtesy Driver to take me to pickup my girls from school.This also lifted my spirit.For I was concerned about being able to pick my girls up on time from school.Once my girls made it to the dealership.They immediately were able to use the Courtesy Desktop Computer to do their homework also had lots of snacks and drinksMy family were treated like familyIn Jesus Christ Name and in the Holy Spirit I thank KIAs Manager and Associates for their kindness courtesyRuby Haggerty
Had a good experience with the Kia Service department. Initially mechanic did not find the issue i was having with my Kia Optima, but, the Service Manager, Larry, went the extra step to test drive my car so that i could show him what it was doing. After the test drive, he had his team recheck and the mechanic was able to diagnose and correct the issue. Glad they listened to me. Even though, i did not have a check engine light, there was definitely something amiss and I was pleased that the service department went the extra mile to understand what i had been describing to them. So hats off to the service team. Larry assured me that everything would be diagnosed and repaired, Jake, the service advisor, kept me informed and showed concern for my time. I would recommend this facility to anyone based on my experiences here. That said, sometimes things are difficult to diagnose or even explain, but, i believe they will do their best to find and solve any issues.
Extremely pleasant experience with Jake Keller service advisor and Clarence the service manager. I would always drive to Mesquite for service as well as car purchase but these guys have definitely put their selves on the map for future visits...Thanks for top notch service

He ignored me & act as if were bothersome when I was trying to make inquiries concerning the courtesy driver (which he said would return shortly) after waiting about two hours. Only to be told that she had returned but they were already working on my car which is now 3:30. Said it should take another 30 minutes: by 4:30, I saw my car setting out front & went to look for him which he was talking to a couple of ladies sitting outside. He still ignored me & only after one of the ladies acknowledged me, he responded quite curtly. I was used to the tech coming to me, informing me on the status of my servings !!!! Needs better training as far as customer service!!!!!!!

Nobody answers the phone, nobody returns your call, slow service for task that other mechanics can easily do in 30 minutes but it takes 1hr30min for kia to do.
If I could give this dealership 0 stars, I would. I have attempted for 4 days now to cancel my service contract. I keep getting left on hold for 10+ minutes until I finally just hang up. I have left numerous voicemails and no one will call back. I went up to the store to talk in person to a financial adviser who said they don’t have the cancellation form but they will email it to me. I still haven’t received it, so I’m continuing to call with no luck. Our sales person also seemed very uninterested when selling me a car. If it wasn’t for the fact they were the only people in the area with the exact car I wanted, I would not have purchased here. The sales person also told me you can’t order cars from Kia.. yet I called a different dealership and got a car ordered.
There was nothing that couldve made my trip better. Noah was absolutely incredible, showed compassion for me and my need to secure a vehicle. I flew in to Dallas, from Louisiana, after our initial conversation over the phone, solely because of how professional and genuine he was. And everything we discussed over the phone, prior to my visit, was fulfilled. Shoutout Noah and the KIA of Southwest Dallas team.

I went to this dealership to purchase the Carnival EX. I made the sales guy (Alec) aware that I will be paying cash for the vehicle after the trade in value. Everything was going well. He brought in the final numbers. He told me they will be able to do the MSRP for the EX. The trade in value they gave me was 2k less than what carmax offered me. I asked him to ask his manager if 1k can be added to my trade in offer.He came back with a totally different number. The vehicle went from 40k to 52k. I was confused and surprised. This is very disappointing. Anyone reading this, dont waste extra 12k for a car that can be sold for 40k. See pictures for proof

My new Kia Soul malfunctioned on the way to work this morning.The windshield wipers stopped working three times in a torrential downpour.So far been waiting 3 hours.The TV does not work and was told they had a tech coming out to fix it. A dealership this size should have a working TV for customers to watch.The refrigerator with cold waterFor the customers since they have no snacks to offer is empty. Suggested someone put water in fridge was told they have warm water to offer !
The service at the center was great. However, I was extremely disappointed to find out that the vehicle I made an appointment for earlier in the morning was lent out to someone else just an hour before our arrival. It takes about 80 minutes to get to the center and it was an upset to hear the news that our agreement to look at the vehicle was completely overlooked while I was making my way to the center. I am not sure if all customers are treated this way but it definitely did not feel great to be on the victim end of this poorly made decision by Alicia Oviedo.
Im on car number six. What would I do without my Kia friends and family.

Definitely would not recommend! Literally had to explain myself for over 40 minutes about my draft check from my credit union to the manager and saleswoman at the dealership. All around it seems everyone was so confused including the rep from my credit union, until the supervisor from the credit union came on and stated exactly what I said for 40 minutes. If you come with your own financing they just go blank like they never dealt with credit unions before. I wasn’t even excited after all of that about the car. I would not recommend anyone to this dealership at all unless you use their financing then maybe it will be a better experience than mine.

Excellent service! I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and was immediately greeted by a cheerful and comical employee, Alex, who checked in with me every step of the way. The services I needed were related to safety recalls and were completed at no charge and faster than the 2 hour wait time that I was quoted. There are 3 outdoor benches under a covered area for those who prefer to wait outside.I was also provided with a printout of additional services I need, quotes included, but was not hassled in any way about getting them done that day.Thank you, SW Kia. Ill be back soon.
Was told AFTER they ran my credit, that they were not going too so it didnt ping as a hard inquiry. When I got back out to my car my phone pinged me for an email from Experian AND Credit Karma indicating they had. At least dont stand there and tell me a bold face lie to my face if you want MY business. Im sure had I been willing to fork over the additional $2000 to their non commission Salesman ON TOP of my Trade in that was requested, it would have been a different story across the Board.
Beware!! If you are of a certain ethnicity they will keep your extra key fob and say they are going to give it to your loan company, NOT TURE. Im about to pay off my pickup truck but they kept my extra key at purchase and now say its lost so Im out $300 for the cost to replace. Taxed for being ethnic at this point especially the way they TRIED to handle me on the interest, my credit is great and I was insulted. Get better service elsewhere...
My experience with Southwest Kia in Dallas was much better than expected and met all the criteria I had established for myself before calling and visiting with the Sales Manager. The vehicle I was interested in was discussed, plus we discussed my trade-in value and a deal was struck which fell within my purchase criteria. The new vehicle was delivered to my home by Mustafa, the sales person assigned my account. Mustafa was right on time and we took a short test ride which proved the new Kia was exactly what I was searching for. Mustafa explained all the safety and media controls and even connected my Android phone so I could confirm the phone connection was working as described. I was very impressed with Mustafas knowledge of all the dash control buttons and overall equipment built into the vehicle. Incidentally, Mustafa wore a mask the whole time he visited. We completed the sales paperwork in less than 30 minutes, I gave him the keys to my trade-in, and he was gone, all in less than 1 hour and 10 minutes, which impressed me for sure. Many kudos to Southwest Kia Dallas and Mustafa for a great vehicle purchase experience.

Over the past couple of weeks as Ive been making decisions re: purchasing a car, Southwest Kia - Dallas has been incredibly helpful. From Jake (service) and Travis (parts) giving me a guesstimate on an intake manifold replacement to Noah (sales) finding a car that fit my financial constraints and Mike (sales desk) finding a lender and working an approval, along with the ease of the finance process ... EVERYONE has been stellar getting me into a new Kia! Even though I didnt purchase on Saturday when I went in to look at the vehicle, they honored EVERYTHING we discussed when I came to purchase on Wednesday, and then some. I was really anxious about working with a dealership (because Ive worked in dealerships in the past), but throughout the process, I NEVER felt pressured, judged, or like I was being given the runaround. Thank you, Southwest Kia - Dallas, for making this an easy decision for me!

I have had to call twice to speak with someone in service for recall issues. I spoke with two ladies in customer service. They were very very rude! Rushing me off the phone and not answering my questions. If there was another location closer in my area I would definitely take my vehicle there. If it were not for you he recall I would not bring my car to the his establishment!
Ive reviewed this once but keep getting this email so here it is again. I scheduled my service online, it was a previously quoted service so I roughly knew the cost. Arrived at my appointment and sat for over an hour only to be told they didnt have the part and I needed to (take another day off work) come back the following week. I did. Jorge never quoted me a price and the service, once done, cost almost $200 more than the original quote. I bought my car at this dealership in 2011 and I drive almost an hour for service. I wont be back anymore.

Called about a used vehicle I wanted to look at and was told by two different people Tanner, and Alicia that it was available to check out, got to the dealership and the sales representative told me it wasnt available! I asked about another vehicle on their website, and he comes back and tells me this one as well was not available! I dont know how they expect to sale cars if nothing is available to look at⁉️ Dont waste your time like I did going to this dealership ❗
Whenever I have gone into Kia to get my SPortage worked on...they have always been SUPER great. The service people are great to work with face to face. the problem is that i have NEVER been able to speak to them on the phone. THe schedulers that you talk to when you call do NOT know much about your service details and all they can do is send you over to the service desk, which NEVER answer. I have left numerous phone messages and have NEVER been called back. my latest recall that I had to go in for...I was given 2 different stories about how that was going to work. SUPER frustrating, but they are always good once you are there in person.

I went to the dealership to purchase the Carnival EX. I informed the the Sales Rep (Alec) that I will be paying cash after the trade in. He told me that the mark up price is just there to hold the car on the lot and its totally negotiable. I told him what my budget is and he said they will be able to work with me. We proceeded to start the paperwork. Everything was going on well. He came with the final numbers and told me they will be available to sell the care at MSRP. The total was going to be about 41k excluding TTL. However, my trade in car was valued at 2k less than what Carmax offered me. I asked Alec to ask his manager (Constantine) to give me 1k more on my trade in. We agreed and he went for approval.To my surprise Alec came back with different final numbers on a different paper than the final paperwork we agreed. The new total was now $53k excluding TTL. Alec tone all of a sudden changed...ummm Sir, Im sorry I gave you the wrong numbers.....we can finance the balance if you want...... blah blah blah. The fact that we agreed on the final numbers, for it to change drastically is my first. This is my 10th car purchase and this is by far the most disappointing.If you are reading this dont waste your time and pay that ridiculous price when you can get a good price else where. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Never again!!
Had a really Bad experience. I chatted with the dealer to schedule for a test drive a Kia carnival. Someone called me and scheduled me within the next hour. I drove for 45 mins and I went to the dealership and told them I am here for test driving a Carnival EX and they said we just sold the car. Then I asked if i can test drive the LX model that is in front of me and they told I cant test drive it. Later, I asked if i can test drive a Kia telluride any trim. I see 4 of them in front of me and they said we are not doing test drives for Telluride today. Overall they are not ready to give any test drive, but want to make me come to the dealership.Another point to note. Dont believe the window sticker prices on their website its all fake. When I went and saw the sticker price there is ridiculous $10000 markup on the Carnival EX model and additional charges. It was advertised as 39,500 in the website. They are selling it for $52000 for an EX model. LOL Save your money.

Wish I had better things to say but it’s been an overall very frustrating experience. After I bought a new car from them it has been extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone. I found out that I was upgraded and charged extra which at no point was communicated to me throughout the financing process. As I’ve called and tried to talk with finance about this I keep being put on hold for very long periods or told I’d be called back and never am. I tried making an appointment and when I got there I was told the person I needed to speak to left!! Due to all of this, I decided to cancel a service that I originally purchased but they will not send me the form I need. I’ve tried talking to person after person and am still getting nowhere. Exhausting.
Called about a vehicle, said I was driving an hour to drive it and wanted to purchase it. 30 minutes later they call to say someones going to buy it. Financing was already secured. Unethical business practices.

I purchased a car there in January 21, I had a malfunctioning in my seat belt it wasn’t staying fasten. I stated to them the problem that I was having they told me they couldn’t get to me until July 26. I told it just a seat belt anyone can look at it, it’s not safe and I could get a ticket, it’s the law, again I was told they couldn’t see me until 26, or call another Kia, in other words it’s not there problem it’s mine. I had to go to somewhere else and pay out of pocket $250 for a seat belt. SMH

Horrible customer service! Purchased a car from them still under warranty but they keep giving you run around. Can’t even get the operator on the phone been trying to make appointment for last two days. Then I was told today that they don’t have anything for next 6 days. Even if you have emergency situation. To get a manager on the phone I had to send off an email still have yet to hear back.

I live in College Station, TX but made my appointment in Dallas due to the service of friendly staff always ready to assist. I rather prefer to get a loaner vehicle but the wait area is pretty nice and comfortable.My resent visit to this location was not like my past visits. Yes, I have been since COVID-19.They failed to reset my notifications in my car after the oil change. Its showing my scheduled service is behind. No car wash and the staff just didnt interact as previous staff in the past.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We bought a used vehicle with the extended warranty. This is the only reason we bought used. We were assured that the extended warranty would cover all those major expenses that could arise from; oh let’s say an engine blowing! Unfortunately, that’s not the case. We went to file a claim for this exact thing (engine blowing), and to our surprise- what do you know, it’s not covered. Not even a penny.We will have to pay out of pocket over 10k for a new engine. The vehicle is not even worth that! This is such bad business practice. I am in disbelief, we are 9 days away from Christmas, in a pandemic, have two babies, my husband uses this car for work, and we are supposed to come out of pocket 10k for something we were assured would be covered when we bought this vehicle.Moral of the story, you cannot ever trust anyone’s word these days. We weren’t provided the contract for the extended warranty, and shame on me for having a little trust. Over 2,000 for a warranty that is useless.They have so many ways of not having to pay your claim even when you read through the entire contract. It is impossible to know every situation that could happen with an engine to truly know if it’s covered or not covered. I hope I can save someone else from experiencing this by explaining our experience. I would not trust this dealership, their partner for extended warranties or anything anyone says.We all know Auto Sales have a bad rep, and this is just another reason to prove why not to trust them. I know everyone needs to make a living, and sales put in many hours- but do something a little more honorable or at least be a good person and make sure your people are truly covered. Know your product especially what you are selling. Southwest Kia- give your employees more training. They obviously don’t know the product.Complete and utter disgust is all I have for you!Responding to your comment- I am a co-signer on my husbands car, so if you don’t see my name that could be the reason why. This is my 3rd Kia, and the experience has been wonderful each time I go. Jonathan has been by sales rep for the last 2 Kias and his professionalism is what keeps me coming back. I will always be a Kia owner and will return in the next couple of years to Southwest Kia-Dallas for my next one.
First available service time is one month from now, the door handle on my car is falling off. The is no walk in and no sense of empathy.

Bad experience! We called ahead to let them know we would be arriving. Waited forever for a rep upon arrival...then had to wait more due to the vehicle had no gas in it. Just the whole customer experience was poor. The place that did get my business maybe could share a few tips.

I was at the gas station down from the KIA-location I made the purchase from, and he recognized my CAR that he sold and me as his customer. He came to me and ask me was everything going okay with my CAR. What are the ODDS.. I was leasing and now will consider buying a KIA.. We need this personal connection in these time.. How wonderful is that! Thank you Jonathan for being a person and not a salesman. I will always recommend this location and a KIA as a car to purchase. He IS, AND would be a GREAT Leader to the KIA INDUSTRY.

We went to file a claim for this exact thing (engine blowing), and to our surprise- what do you know, it’s not covered. Not even a penny. I have been trying to get help since I’ve gotten it I keep it up to maintenance as best as possible and still nothing y’all are really the WORST! I don’t recommend no one to shop used or new. They’re not very friendly just want to get a piece of a quick check.They’re expecting me to pay out of pocket over 10k for a new engine. My car stopping on me in the middle of 75 and central with 2 small babies like anything could’ve gone wrong. I’m still expected to pay a car note and or pay off this balance that isn’t even worth it! The vehicle is not even worth that! This is such bad business practice. I am in disbelief, we are in a pandemic, have two babies,I use this car for work,and to transport my babies to daycare and we are supposed to come out of pocket 10k for something we were assured would be covered when we bought this vehicle.Moral of the story, you cannot ever trust anyone’s word these days. I obviously wasn’t provided the contract for the extended warranty, and shame on me for having a little trust. Over 2,000 for a warranty that is useless.They have so many ways of not having to pay your claim even when you read through the entire contract. It is impossible to know every situation that could happen with an engine to truly know if it’s covered or not covered. I hope I can save someone else from experiencing this by explaining our experience. I would not trust this dealership, their partner for extended warranties or anything anyone says.We all know Auto Sales have a bad rep, and this is just another reason to prove why not to trust them. I know everyone needs to make a living, and sales put in many hours- but do something a little more honorable or at least be a good person and make sure your people are truly covered. Know your product especially what you are selling. Southwest Kia- give your employees more training. They obviously don’t know the product.Complete and utter disgust is all I have for you!
I just left the service center which I came to, to get my seatbelt buckle fixed. It was expensive but what can you expect its a dealership.Anyway when I pulled up an older gentleman who works there was really kind and sent me to the person who is supposed to help me out, his name was Jake Keller, I let him know I was coming back because wife had set an appointment to get out issue fixed.Also I inquired about buying spark plugs for my car since I want to do the work myself.he says theyll give them to me after the work gets done.The older gentleman (really kind man) shows me to the wait area since I wasnt familiar with the new set up ( I havent been there in a long time)He calls the service associate to help me. He comes I let him know what I want, he lets me know the price ($89.20). I pay, and get my spark plugs. 4 spark plugsOnce my car gets returned Jake lets me know were ready he sees I have spark plugs in my hand and In irritated tone looks at my receipt and starts getting visibly upset and wants to see if I got charged the correct price, the receipt he was going to hand me and have me pay was $107.He leaves makes some calls I can hear him from he cashier desk, maybe mad at me who knows Ill give the benefit of the doubt.However aside from the sorry customer service the moral of the story is DONT buy anything here unless its something that only the provide.granted when I asked Jake about the spark plugs I wasnt given a price, I also didnt ask because I would assume it would be something reasonable .So this definitely gives me the impression that the workers who take your car in, write whatever price they want . How else will it go from $89 to $107This is also not the first time a few years ago. I was getting my oil change (part of the deal when I purchased my car) I left the worker know my electric outlet wasnt working and wanted to know what was going on.... 2 hour later he comes back with a bill of $250 for labor and said we replaced the burnt out fuse so were all ready to go 250!!! For a fuse!!! They took 2 hours for a fuse!? Of course what they do is that they will hold your car longer when doing a repair to charge more for labor. Any way I declined to pay since I never authorized such work to be done, all I had asked for was to know what was going on ..The worker tells me they wont charge me for the labor which I didnt authorize. $250 for a fuse? Lol be very careful coming here.The car sales part of it was nice when I purchased my car, because of course, how else will you sell a car?The pictures I am posting are to show what I payed (through Samsung pay), and what I was going to be charged the actual receipt.Had I not known any better or have been lucky enough to talk to the service person I would have had to pay a lot more money .
We were having to choose between a Equinox, Terrain and a Kia Sportage. Marc Sutton spent time with us AND LISTENED to what we wanted. He did not try to sell us something. He listened to our needs and wants and matched us up perfectly.One of the managers (assistant managers??), Will, made a way for us to spend some time with the General Manager, Antonio. He was able to answer all our questions and we felt well prepared when we met with the financial guy. Our last buying experience was very different and disappointing. But, we love the deal we got!!!They had a turnover in leadership a while back and it sounds like things had gotten a little bad but the new General Manager is sharp and we felt like the employees are much happier.Highly recommend this dealership and especially, Marc Sutton.
Recently my husband and I decided to surprise my daughter with a Kia Soul, Salvador and General Manager made this purchase easy and super smooth, I had different requests since the beginning, starting from financial to getting a ribbon for the surprise.It took less than 2 hours to negotiate and close the deal.I’m super grateful with Scott and Salvador they are awesome and soon I will be going back to buy another vehicle!If I could give 10 stars I would!
Wonderful customer service that I couldn’t pay to receive from the Kia dealer closer to my home. Worth the drive!!Took my car in about a certain sound coming from my steering wheel. The issue was promptly located and steps were taken to correct the problem.Took my car to the other Kia dealer on two separate occasions about the same issue and they told me it was “normal.”— I knew this wasn’t right.Great service from Jorge Malagon! Thank you, and with any bigger problems that come up in the future I will be sure to return to Southwest Kia Dallas.
