Lousy customer service, rude and cannot communicate nor knows the English language well. Definitely will not be patronizing this beauty supply and would not ever recommend doing business with them. The gentleman who waited on us was clearly prejudice. My sister purchase d a $80 wig. While she was waiting for this oriental guy to checked her out I came up to her and ask her opinion about three pair of sunglasses that I was considering purchasing. She then asked the oriental man with glasses behind the counter if he had a mirror. He said yes and brought a medium size countertop mirror. As I was trying on the first pair he suddenly stopped in the middle of my sisters transaction and picked up the mirror and took it to the other side of the counter placing on top of a tall glass jewelry case, with no explanation. When I stated I was using the mirror to help me decide which pairs of glasses I wanted, thus he ignored me and was mumbling something and continued checking my sister out. At that point I decided not to purchase anything at all bc of his rude and ill-mannered behavior. But my 68 yr old younger sister decided to buy the pair of sun glasses for me (cost $6.99). Im black and 73 yrs old so my conclusionis that he was profiles and is prejudice, as if ALL black people come in to steal or pull something over on him.Now I see why blacks speak out against some Asian business communities. I have conducted business with a number of Asian owned businesses and can say it is not the attitude of the majority. People like this man at Queens Beauty Supply, 18900 Dallas Pkwy, Dallas, TX needs to take some diversity training courses and before giving a business loan it should be a requirement and mandatory they go through such training and learn the culture and language.And NO not every black person steals just like not every Asian person is prejudice. This man is a disgrace to his ethnicity. Absolutely NO people nor communication skills. At this rate his business will not succeed. Blacks spent the most money on personal grooming products.

Don’t go if you’re black. I normally would come about once a week for little things needed. However, the last time I stepped foot inside this store, I was followed as if I was stealing. Despite having cameras all over the store, they still felt the need to follow me around. I asked the guy that was following me why was he doing so, his response was “that’s his job.” To be a store that is geared towards the black community, but yet make us feel unwanted is a horrible experience.

I was very pleased with my visit today. I have been to three stores that didnt carry Kima Ocean Wave but this store did in every color the brand offers. I was impressed by the inventory here. You can definitely walk out with something pretty close to, or exactly what you have in mind. They also have a huge selection of edge control and other similar products. The staff was friendly and very helpful, I did not experience any negative vibes at all.

Quality is zero. I bought 2 bags of $90 human hair for braiding and it didn’t last a week. I will never return there again.

They have lots of hair care products but not a good selection of wigs. As soon as walked in the door, he was on me like white on rice. I was just there to view the wig options they offered. It was a weird experience. I wont be back.

I felt very uncomfortable as I was heavy watched from 5 feet away by an employee who pretended to stock and stand behind me the entire time I was in the store. When I called her out on it, she told me that was her job.criminalizing black customers to make sure they are not stealing is your job?I complained to the manager, she denied it had happened.In this day and age, with hate crimes against both communities. The Black and Asian communities need to be allies but this makes it hard when you are treated like a criminal for no reason.Dont open up a store in black neighborhoods if you believe that black people are criminals and will steal.

This business sold me a product and was very misleading about what it was. Then they would not allow me to return it. They also wouldn’t take the coupon they gave me from the purchase when I tried to buy another item. Very poor customer service.

Overpriced and bad quality products. I purchased some overpriced setting spray for my trip. (I’ve purchase this spray at other places where it was cheaper and the quality was great). Once I use it I noticed it was a different color than the other ones I purchased at other stores. Had to stop at another Beauty store out of town to buy more hair spray. Not only was this spray a different color but it was not effective. Once I got back in town I went back to this store and told them their products were not effective, and the color was off. They said they were going to send defective items back to merchant and allowed me to exchange. I do not trust the quality of these high priced products. Will never patronize this place again. Also, they do watch you like a hawk, very uncomfortable feeling..

I use to love to visit the place out South called Jennys Beauty Supply however, the kindness of the staff has greatly decreased. I tend to have a problem GIVING U MY MONEY & ALLOWING U 2B RUDE 2 ME.... U get one or the other...... But not both..... This place gives me good service, quality products and extremely reasonable prices. Hey Guys........ Its worth it..... Let THEM have Jennys & giv these guys a try.

They have all kinds of hair/ beauty products in this place. The staff can advise you on various products to use if you arent sure of the choice to make. The best part I love most is that, they are not expensive and products are of good quality .

Over priced items. Same products you can get at another beauty supply. I think its because its in a black community so they try to get over on us because they know black women pay for hair & hair products. Very sad actually. I dont mind driving a bit further on Frankford to the other stores. Dont waste your money here!!!

Didnt have much to choose from.

I have been going to this store for years and will continually support them and thier friendly staff for as long as they are here. Only thing is, they must have a lot of theft because they watch you like a hawk. Still 5 stars. The prices are good and they are a staple in the community.

I wish I could give half a star, due to this place having HORRIBLE customer service. Another thing, if you are black, brown, they stare you down aisle to aisle to aisle. The manager was five feet away from me my whole experience of just being there. Yes, the store is owned by Asians and yes I will do better by shopping only at black owned beauty supplies from now on.

This is one of the flip of a coin type of beauty supply stores in this area. You either get bad customer service, a rude owner, or not enough variety and availability with certain products. I guess if you do not want to wait for the Amazon to delivery the same products without the hassle of inconsistent service this is a place to go. I am down to 3-4 times per year.

Queen Beauty Supply is out of this world I can wear almost any of their earrings with my sensitive ears they have great wigs at great prices and their makeup is out of this world I love to use them as my eyelash supplier buying bulk and jewelry shopping in their cases also a great place to get gifts and lots of things for men this by far is my favorite Beauty Supply in the whole wide world

I was looking at the wigs and the guy that works there asked if I needed help. I told him that I was fine. About 2 minutes later while looking at the wigs I felt someone staring at me. I turned around and it was him standing 7 feet away just staring at me to make sure I didnt steal. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever. I ended up just leaving. I dont understand how you can have an establishment catering to a certain demographic if you dont even trust them.

Couldnt find a certain eyeshadow color and the staff stopped what they where doing to help me we went threw every color etc. Has good products good service even doe i still didnt find they color to match my outfit still give t stars

I have been going to this place for it for three years. But tonight the owner was the most rudest man Ive ever seen. He pointed his fingers in my face like he wanted to assault me for a good three minutes because their card reading machine shut down in the middle of my transaction. Thankfully I checked my bank account to see if the transaction went through because I read the card reader and it said approved right after it turned back on. The owner try to have me paid for my item twice. I showed him my bank account transactions and he did not believe me. Instead he proceeded to yell and curse at me pointing in waving his hands in my face. He did not come down into the man who was in line behind me threatened to call the police. I cannot believe this happened . I was so embarrassed. He treated me as if I was a thief when obviously I was not trying to still eight $8.99 item. They really need to work on their customer service from a management standpoint. I will not be going to the Plano location either and I am removing myself from the email list. I see now that I need to patronize my beauty products from with in my community. Ive seen people be disrespected from management at mini beauty supply stores but I felt that if I remain respectful which I did, I would receive respect in return. #buyblack

When I go to beauty supply stores I like to look around, see if any new styles or products catch my attention. So basically I spend more than 5 min unless I know exactly what I need. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter was so worried about whether or not I was stealing that I couldnt enjoy myself. No matter where I was in the store she found away to YELL at me from the register if I needed help, after the third time I stop answering her and she left the the register to come to me. I told her I was just looking around, and of course she just had to find a reason to stand 5 feet behind me....
