I guess this place deserves my first bad review I don’t usually take the time to do this but I’d like the real supervisor or manager to see how his clients are being treated by Marco and Jackson at this location. I took my car in to get the rear drivers side door fixed after a car backed into it while I was not even in the car! After having that horrible experience here I go to Macco and have an even worse experience. I was practically always in an argument with Jackson never once had just a conversation. First issue I encountered was the time it took for my vehicle to be “completed” this place ended up taking 2 more days than what was approved by the insurance company to complete the work and blamed the insurance company for the delay. I calmly extended the rental I was in another 2 days paying out of pocket and was completely fine with it but once I saw the final result with my vehicle I was completely disappointed... Macco had painted over paint details on undamaged door and replaced my damaged door with a salvage door that was worse than my original door. After addressing this with Macco they did not want to listen to any concerns and demanded payment and asked us for solutions instead of providing us with some. This place by far has horrible work product and horrible customer service. Do not recommend.

Ok, here’s the reason for my 3 stars:First, I was reasonably satisfied with the work. I went there to get a dent fixed, which affected two doors (driver and passenger) and also a plastic part. They did a good job with the dent, but the plastic is a little loose. I guess they did what they could with it and for a competitive price. No complaints there.However, they told me it would take between two and three days. A week after I dropped the car off, desperately needing it, I called and they said it was ready for pick up, and they apologized for not contacting me. I do not think this is a minor detail, taking into account that a car is something we need for everything and not everyone has a spare one. I wonder how long it had been ready for.A few hours after I picked it up, I realized they had charged me twice the final cost, I have no idea how or why, so I had to return to get the refund. This location is not close to home so obviously, there’s a cost associated with driving there, besides the waste of time.I hate Karens, so I tend to not make a big deal out of these things, but it would’ve been nice for Maaco to offer some type of compensation or service, since this was completely their fault. I just got an apology instead. It’s called “ taking care of your customers”.

If youre looking for quality this is not it. After 2 weeks of waiting for them to finish a simple paint job. I arrived to my car being damaged, the paint job looks cheap and the service is poor. It sucks because I really love my car and now Im just mad I feel like they ruined it.

This location done did it again!!! Super great paint work, mirror finish! Quick and easy fender needed to be painted and put on. Dropped of the part. They had it painted and a couple days later dropped my car off and they replaced my fender within hours. This is the spot to be! Thank you guys!

I used the estimate tool on the Maaco website to get a feel for the cost associated with buffing out and painting a damaged door. Frustrated that it was so wide ranging, I stopped by for an in-person estimate. I am very glad I did. Not only was the staff knowledgeable, they were friendly. Jose checked out the damage, explained it wasnt anywhere near as bad as it looked, and cleaned it up for me right there and then. I was taken by complete surprise. I highly recommend this location and Jose in particular.

I had a wreck in my Chevy Camaro and didn’t know what to think or expect ! I decided to drop my car off to Maaco after hearing so many negative things prior about their style of paint but I went with my gut after meeting everyone there. It took them about a week which was great for me and everything came back feeling brand new. Before getting my car painted I was thinking about getting a new car but after seeing my car and driving it felt brand new. Thank you a lot Maaco !!!

I got a paint job. They left a small paint circle on my hood. They left white powder on the inside of the driver door and all over my car mat. They also left plastic trash on my back seats.

Had a positive experience at this Maaco location with Charles. Went in there for their Christmas special full car paint job and it was ready a day before. Good quality work and well back.

Anywhere can do better.They’ll quote you “an afternoon” for the repair, and only until you get there to drop your car off (after figuring out a ride home) will they say “4 days.”They’ll promise to “call you that afternoon or next morning for updates” and never will. When you have to call them twice (you know to sort your life and find a ride back) they’ll have no idea who you are. Your name won’t work. The color and type of car won’t work.You’ll go in for a door ding and a spoiler swap but when you call for an update you’ll learn that they’re “repainting the entire door” without letting you know / asking permission. You know that if you needed something like that you’d take it to the manufacture because why would Maaco keep the EXACT same paint for every car that exists? You’ll ask yourself if this is being reported as unnecessary body work on the Carfax? Is this going to void any warranty? It won’t matter, it’ll be too late.When you finally get a ride back to pick your car up you’ll ask where they painted and why? They won’t show you and tell you no one will notice. (Anyone can notice. *see picture). Then they’ll ask how old you are to have such a nice car (34) and “how I liked driving it?” You’ll realize they already knew the answer because the car you brought in clean with a full tank it will have mud marks everywhere, a quarter of a tank missing and the music blaring.You’ll leave belittled and taken advantage of. You’ll have to now take it to the manufacture body shop to fix more than what you brought it in for.Side note if you lost someone close to Covid like we did: You’ll wear a mask out of respect for them but no one (except Jose) will do the same for you.

We dropped off our business van on July 27th and spoke with Tonya, sales representative, and was told 10-14 business days to get it done. After 2 weeks i drove thru their parking lot and my van was still sitting outside with nothing done to it. We were never contacted about them being backed up or any problems that may have gotten them behind. At the end of week 3, August 17th I called and spoke with Tonya who said it wasn’t ready yet. My wife called on Friday 21st and Tonya said it was painted the van just needed to be buffed on Saturday. Jose the store manager, texted me on August 25th and said it was almost ready. On August 28th I received a text again from Jose saying they had broke my left side mirror and he had ordered a new one and would replace it. On Monday August 31st my van was finally ready. The paint job is not worth the money I spent($3500). The customer service was non existent and instead of being honest I was consistently lied to when calling about it. Never an apology for the lack of communication or the length of time it took for them to get my van completed.

I recommend this location due to the fact they took every detail I wanted done and more to my Dodge Challenger. I previously had bad paint and bodywork on my car and they stripped it off and tore down the old bondo work on my car and did it correctly. My car is so smooth and I am proud to say I got my car done here! Everyone asks who painted my car. I always tell them Maaco off of Northwest Highway & Harry Hines in Dallas!

Jose the manager was extremely nice but I was seriously disappointed with the work. The day after I got the car back, I noticed the front driver’s side tire panel (which needed to be repaired) falling off. They used what seemed like double-sided tape to stick it on. Additionally, they told me the work would take 2-3 days, it ended up taking about a week and a half. The woman Tanya who typically answers the phone is extremely dishonest. It got so bad that I asked her to send me photos of the car, she stated that she would and never did. She also stated that she would provide a car service for me to come and look at the car, which she never did. I had to end up getting the part on my own and bringing it in for them to put on. Please do not get work done here. You will be highly disappointed and left with a terrible looking car.

Had an amazing experience at Maaco today! Yesterday I had called to see what the estimate process was & when I told Tanya I was in a wreck, she was super concerned about my wellbeing & safety. Today when I went in Jose & Tanya were so accommodating with my car needs & did everything in their power to be accommodating to my wallet as well. They are professional, kind, understanding & just awesome to work with. 10/10 recommend this location for all your body work/ repair needs!!

I can’t say enough about Maaco on Northwest Highway. When choosing which shop I wanted to have my Jeep hardtop painted by I did a search of the best automotive paint shops in Dallas. To my surprise one Maaco dealership came up in the list. I decided to go and get a quote from the top 5. Of those 5 highly rated auto paint shops, Marco gave an estimate that was $300 cheaper than the next lowest estimate and less $800 lower than two other shops. So I decided to go with Maaco and boy am I glad I did! My Jeep is a hydro metallic blue color which has those tiny sparkles in it. This color is extremely difficult to match, but Maaco got it spot on! The paint job is amazing and when I took my Jeep to the off roads shops I like to visit, everyone including the mechanics and owners were blown away by the quality of the work!

If you want just a paint job that would make the car look good from a distance, this place could be your choice. However, if you really care about your car like I do about mine, you should probably go somewhere else. This place has no attention to detail and no good communication. I took my BMW 7 series for a whole car paint job using their most premium paint package, and I also paid them extra to have the paint buffed to perfect the paint. What should have taken about a week took about a month due to lack of attention to detail and low quality paint requiring me to bring the car back to them few times to fix the issues (paint chipping off, paint runoffs, etc.). Tanya is very nice but sometimes not very helpful. Jose has not been very professional (for example telling me to bring the car back at a certain time and then I go to find out that hes not there and Tanya has no idea whats going on.) So, the bottom line is, if you want a cheap pain job and dont care much about the detailed appearance of your car, MAACO is a good option. For me, it was a very negative experience.

Hellmuth and Shawn are excellent to work with and its only place I take my vehicles. They are honest and fair and Ive had no delays getting my vehicle when Im told a date.

Great paint job

Paint job was decent, but another promised item had not been done when I picked my car up, nor was anything put back on the body--make name plate, model name plate. Have to bring it back for completion of the job, and am 125 miles away.

I dropped my car off to this location on August 4th to get a door fixed that had been damages in a valet accident. I was promised that I would receive updates about my car throughout the process but did not which was a bit off putting to me. I dont like promises that arent kept, and I ended up having to call them to find out the status of my car. I went to pick my car up after returning from a work trip and I must admit the door looked great. However, I will never return to this Maaco for work again. When I got in my car I opened my glove compartment and saw that it had been damaged. I was so confused because of the rear door was being fixed, why was anyone in my glove compartment. I was also afraid because I had documents (like insurance and registration) in my car with personal information in there and someone had been in there. I took my car back and was immediately dismissed. I was told there was no way that anyone had been in the glove compartment. The catch here is that there is dust and fingerprints all in my glove compartment. When I showed it to the guy working he even offered to have them clean the glove compartment from the dust but still maintained no one had ever opened it. So how did the dust get there? I honestly believe this happened because I am a woman. Fortunately for me I took pictures and video and my father works in a field where fingerprints can easily be dusted for and we will find out who was in there. I was so confused by this and because of this I wont take my car back there. Taking responsibility is important in making mistakes or causing damage and it is unfortunate that Jose and his team couldnt do that.

This Maaco is an honest Collision and Repair. They are extremely helpful, polite, and trustworthy. They are a business but are there to help people!

I had my resorvations about going to Maaco but after talking to Phillip he assured me that they were going to live up to my expectations. The communication was great between us. I never had to worry about what stage of the process we were in. I feared that I was getting on their nerves because I would call and stop by so offten seeing as I worked 3 mins away LOL. If I did the never let on to it. They smiled and said hello Mr. Jackson. Thats how business is done. They will see me again.

Not at all a professional grade body shopI have the really good opinion on Maaco with my previous experiences at Irving location. Recently I did my car rear bumper work at this location, the only reason i chose this location as it is close to the train station so that I wouldnt have to pay for the rental car during the car outage.Things they did in an unprofessional way:1. When they gave the estimate to paint my honda accord bumper, they said they have to change the bumper. After they did the work I saw a paint layer on the bumper edges and it is chipping off. it doesnt look like a brand new bumper with no flaws.2. The rear bumper fitting is really bad the spacing between the body and rear bumper is not aligned/fit properly. It clearly tells that some work has done on the bumper.3. After they completed the work they totally messed up the entire car body (except the bumper). Looks like some other paintwork they did on a different car spilled over on my white car and created minute black spots, look like dust from far. It is clearly noticeable on the front body and went for a minute on the rear side.4. After they did the work, the car was returned in an unpleasant condition. My beige seats got hand stains and grease all over the front, rear seats, and doors. The media player has the stains of buffed paint. Media player setting was changed. Looks like they hear within the car stereo while they work. The floor mats are horrible with all the buffed paint. Get ready to spend 3-4 hour to detail your car.5. Initially, they also gave me estimate for $615 to fix my light hail damage by thoroughly analyzing everything. Later I left my car for bumper and hail damage repair they called back and said the revised estimate may cost me around $2000 to $3000 to fix the hail damage. I am speechless and withdrawn from the hail damage work. Its a waste of time they wont even do the PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) work. They have some third party who does that and sucks.Things which gave little relief:1. When they spoiled the entire car body with spilled over paint, they buffed the front piece of the car and havent cleaned the rear body though.2. They are close to the Bachman station. Just in case you use transit for work.Overall I wont recommend this body shop if you are looking for a clean detailed service for the big bucks you pay. Very unpleasant experience
