Service appointment was at 3:00PM, they promptly took my vehicle at 3, performed the service (oil change, tire rotation) and returned it to me within 30 minutes. Dealers I have dealt with in the past take any where from 1 to 2 hours to complete a simple service. Great job!!!

I had been a long-term (5-6 years) customer of Hardy Chevrolet and had been satisfied with them until 08/05/21. I needed to take my 1988 Chevrolet R30 Crew Cab former Lockheed emergency truck in to get it running and repair the rear brakes. Mike Roberts, Service Manager, refused my request.He has issued an order that vehicles older than 1998 (1996 soon) will not be accepted for service. Hardy Chevrolet had previously performed a pre-purchase inspection on this exact vehicle for me. I tried reasoning with him and explained his business decision would alienate many good old customers.I told him I would write a letter to Ms. Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors, which I have done. He got huffy and said that was a threat, which it was not; it was a fact. I gave him my business card told him I would like to speak to Johnny Hardy. Of course, I have not heard from him. BEWARE HARDY CHEVY DOES NOT WANT YOU, AND THEY DONT NEED YOU!P.S. #1. 08/07/21, I received voicemail from Brad Wilson, Hardy Chevrolet. I called him back. He claimed Johnny Hardy was not aware I wanted to speak with him. I do not believe Mike Roberts failed to notify Mr. Hardy of my request to speak to him; I am guessing Johnny Hardy just does not return unhappy customer calls. Then Brad Wilson wanted to explain their business decision to refuse service on vehicles older than 1998. Why would you call an unhappy customer only to aggravate them further. I would like to add the service staff, mechanics & courtesy drivers at Hardy Chevy have been great over the years. Repairs have been handled well. I will miss them. But the Management is out of touch with reality. It is never good business to run off old (5-6 years) customers who appreciate the service, pay their bills and dont complain about cost. Brad Wilson did say the service department is so busy, they are essentially cherry picking which clients & vehicles to service to maximize income. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH HARDY CHEVYT AGAIN !!!!! BEWARE YOU ARE JUST $$$$$ & A SUCKER TO THE MANAGEMENT, THEY DONT CARE AT ALL !!!!!
DJ, a service writer for Hardy Buick, went above and beyond by getting my new (used) vehicle past service history. With his help I was able to determine if any services were missed and have a better understanding of my cars past repair/ service history. He was very cordial and quick to get the information. Excellent employee and face of the dealership.

As previously stated in a review with Hardy’s…the guy Thomas in service was very concerned with my problem. When I had to bring it back was very apologetic. I talked to another person Roberts & he was not customer savvy. In fact he hung up on me. Was not wanting my money $500. for the motor mounts back just wanted to know why I needed a new transmission $5,000 all of a sudden. I felt Thomas did all he could have & he was nice to deal with. Long story short, my in-laws was having problems with their car shutting off. Hardy Chevrolet said it was the motor mounts which was $500. After picking up the car it was doing the same thing. Then Hardy Chevrolet said it was the transmission which would have been $5000. I called Womack Automotive, because I trust this company and said can you figure out what is wrong with their car. They brought the car in and the next morning after doing their due diligence figure out the transmission only needed to be reprogramed which cost a total of $600. The car runs beautiful like it should with no problems. One question I have did it really need motor mounts after they said it needed a transmission. It has now been three weeks and still runs beautiful. I highly recommend Womack Automotive or any other reputable automotive shop. This is the second time I have had problems with Hardy Dealerships. I love everyone in the service department I was having problems with my 2020 BLAZER tire after a couple of trips back and forth the tire was fixed. I am glad that the service manager took the time to see what was causing the problem and made sure that I would not have this problem again by replacing the tire at no charge to me. Bought a 2019 terrain Denali in dec. 2019 from Hardy. I was going to drive the 600 miles from Florida to pick it up. I got sick the week that I was going to leave. I asked for a price for SHIPPING. They quoted $1,000. Fine. Ship it. I got a notice when the car would arrive. So. I’m sitting at home and there is a knock on the door. I answer the door and a man says that he is delivering my car. I asked where the transport was and he said he drove it here putting over 600 miles on the car. Now when someone tells me they are SHIPPING a car, I don’t expect them to drive it. Put it on a truck! The salesman also would quote a price one day and the next day it was different. The price of the car was discounted about $10,000. So I really wanted the car. But, come on man. You put 600+ miles on my car driving down I-75. Which is crowded as hell by some guy I never met. Won’t ever, ever do business with them again.
My wife had to take her 2017 corvette in to have a tire replaced after hitting something in the road that stuck in the tire and beat the side of the car pretty bad. Mike Greer in the service department saw how upset she was and personally polished the scuffs out and even touched up a small nick in the paint at no extra charge. We’ve purchased two vehicles from our local GMC and they were my first stop but I was very disappointed in their inventory and lack of service. Test driving two separate vehicles I was allowed to barely go two blocks and pressured into picking one. I very much wanted a GMC Acadia AT4 and I resorted to the internet for more options. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted until I found Hardy GMC. Their selection was excellent and after one call with the sales manager, Colt, I felt comfortable enough to drive from Florida to Georgia (almost 500 miles!) for my unicorn. Our sales person, Cody, was extremely friendly and personable. He arranged a test drive that allowed me to become comfortable with the vehicle and reviewed features without being pushy. Cody negotiated an excellent deal and good trade for my current SUV. Nick in finance made paperwork a breeze. We were there less than three hours start to finish and had a wonderful experience. It was well worth the almost 10 hour round trip drive and they’ll be my first call once it’s time for our current GMC Sierra to be traded. Although, I might take them up on free delivery next time! Had to bring vehicle there because had taken car to Walmart for oil change and they couldn’t get screw out because Charles Hardy put on to tight last time and couldn’t get it off. Brought it Charles Hardy and they charged the oil but made me paid for the screw because Walmart stripped it trying to get it off. Wanted to bring there first but no appointment was available.

Thank you to a team that really take care of me. Long story short, I found Hardy Chevrolet after being told the issue with my Camero was at my cost. This other Chevrolet service center really made me feel as if they did not want to deal with my warranty. Therefore, they said they were going to write my issue up as if it was my fault and cost. I called and spoke to the service manager, no luck. Might I add Ive been with this service company for 4 years. I called Hardy Chevrolet for an appointment. They worked me in the next day. I was nervous since I thought my issue was out of pocket. Needless to say, it wasnt. They explained my issue and told me it was covered under my warranty. Keep in mind this cost would have been over $900.00 out of pocket for me. They took their time with me and called my warranty company. Im very pleased with their service team and management. My commute isan hour when I need service or maintenance to Hardy Chevrolet. I drive their with a piece of mine Thanks service team for really being here for me especially in this difficult time with the pandemic!

Had my first service at Hardys on my 2020 AT4. Told them top fill Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Unfortunately they omitted it. However I called Linda and she apologized said to bring it down on Monday. My adviser DJ and the mechanic filled it full for no charged because of the oversight. What more could a first time customer ask. I be back and appreciate their immediate professional response. 👍👍👍👍👍 Five thumbs up. Thank you Hardys Service Team!

Instead of booking online, I called in to make an appointment since my 2021 Silverado 3L Duramax requires a special type of oil. I called to verify that they had it in stock, or allow them 5 days to get it in so that I did not have to wait for a longer period of time once I arrived. The person booking the appointment had to verify with a service tech and was going to call me back. I never received a call. I called back and was told that the oil was in stock. Once there on Saturday, my service tech found me and said that they had to order the oil since it was not in stock, which took an additional 30-40 minutes. I told 3 different people that it required special oil only to find out that it still had to be ordered. The oil either needs to be stocked or there needs to be thorough follow through prior to customers arrival to prevent prolonged time at the dealership. I was also told that my DEF would be topped off and it wasnt.

I called since I am in a different state but was looking for a very specific truck which they showed in transit. When I bought my vehicle I negotiated 3 oil change services with my contract, I only received 1 oil change and I even went over to sales to verify my other two services would be put in and they assured me it would be put in, only o find I drove from McDonough to Hiram only to find out that the services were not in the system and I had to pay for the service. Once my vehicle was serviced I noticed they did not top off the DEF fluid, I have not had a pleasant experience since purchasing this vehicle.
I love everyone in Hardy! They treat you like family and always treat you good. You can trust them as well and I love that I can trust them with my car.

Billy Barnette is, hands down, the best salesman I’ve ever worked with. Every aspect of the process was smooth, agreeable, and straightforward. I felt comfortable that he would handle all the details in closing the purchase, and he absolutely delivered. And then, upon taking delivery of my vehicle, was completely honest and pointed out a very small scratch he noticed and ensured me that I could bring it back to their body shop and have it repaired for free. Flawless experience and an overall good person. Hard to find these days, but I found it working with Mr. Barnette.
My car that I purchased brand new at Hardy (we’ve also purchased two other vehicles there and have recommended to so many family and friends) started having issues due to a KNOWN manufacturer issue that was settled in a class action lawsuit. I received no notifications regarding this issue. I called Hardy and there was nothing they could do, called GM who explained my coverage for the issue expired the end of January 2021 but said there might be something they could do, but said I had to have diagnostic performed. Could not get in for a diagnostic for over a week, understandable. Had diagnostic done and it cited several repairs that were needed but service advisor agreed with me that the underlying manufacturer issue was the root problem. GM contacted Hardy and spoke to a manager I’ve never talked to before and he apparently relayed incorrect information to GM resulting in my claim being denied. I can appeal the case if I want to jump through 10 more hoops to do so potentially still getting no as an answer AFTER being forced to pay $1300 for the other repairs that they’ve quoted me, no thanks, already purchased another vehicle. I posted on Facebook about my horrible experience and only then did the service manager reach out to me to attempt to explain the “breakdown in communication.” Still did not offer any assistance or resolution with the issue aside from PAY US MORE MONEY and we can provide temporary fix, etc. Went to pick up my vehicle and still had to PAY for the diagnostic that I was forced by GM to do to diagnose an issue that I ALREADY KNEW. I will never give this dealership another dime. I will file a complaint on every platform to warn others to never go there. This has been a horrific experience and the lack of care from this dealership is appalling. You should all be ashamed of sitting back and watching your customers get screwed over time and time again. This community has been so loyal to the Hardy family and they could not care less about the shady operating practices of this dealership. After posting on Facebook I realize that there are a lot of people who have had similar experiences and I hope they all continue to spread the word and take their business elsewhere as I will be doing.
