This place is GREAT!! Its a rare collection of old dudes who know everthing there is to know about hardware and can figure out how to help you with your project. Go here first, ask these guys to help you. Then, if they cant help you ... and if you must, go on out to Home Depot and wander aimlessly over there with noone to help you.

They have everything in a small space. Ask at the counter for them to guide you to exactly what you need. I bought Arrow T-50 staples for my staple gun to stretch my canvas paintings on to the stretcher bars. Very efficient place.

The perfect little hardware store that has just about everything and the old guys are helpful and knowledgeable. I was looking for just two machine screws to mount a bathroom light fixture. I had a screw that fit the mounting box but it wasnt long enough. I asked for brass but they didnt have it in the length I needed so the guy suggested stainless steel and found it quickly. Seventy five cents each and 12 cents each for the nuts. I walked out of there with my problem solved for less than $2.Bravo.

This is the best hardware store I have been in in California.Tiny, cramped aisles. Random objects in boxes. They sell items like sandpaper and screws by the piece of you dont want a full pack of something and you just have to tell them the price (but they already know it ;) ) Prices are fair.Every screw imaginable. Every tool. They know where literally everything is, including the niche object I needed that they had only one of hidden behind something else.More items than Home Depot in 1/10th the space.Its like being in 1970 USA. A piece of perfect reality in a land of artificial dreams.

Do not order screens windows from this store. They are poorly built I order a new screen and they were giving to me without hinges. I took two weeks for them to be ready and they never calls us when they were ready.

Under the Ace Hardware group, this particular store has just about everything you need if you have an older home. The big box guys cant touch them. The staff is always knowledgeable/helpful and the prices are very fair. Big Box really cant compete with these guys in this arena.

What a joke!!! This place has the most ancient and set in their ancient ways sales associates it is almost entertaining...but NOT! I work in a field that takes me into large hardware and building supply warehouses on a very regular basis. I was looking for a simple safety item for a client that had just moved and was child proofing their home. I asked for clear safety cleats to tie cords for blinds or window coverings. It seemed that every store was out of them. Usually I can find them at Home Depot, Target or any other type of store that sells window coverings, etc The one guy looked at me like I was from another planet and another took me to large metal options. I asked if they had the clear safety ones. His response was (in a very condescending tone “those are plastic. We are a commercial hardware store.” He then walked away from me. He paid no mind to the fact I was there with a list of things I was going to purchase. He saw me as a woman looking for a product he did not see worthy of a “commercial” hardware store. Well...I’m pretty sure that the basic concept of Ace Hardware is that it is your hometown hardware store. The place you go when you need to pick up items to take care of your home. Not a “commercial” store as he stated. It should be the place to go for just this type of thing. A place where when the aisles are crammed and the shelves stacked too high the “experts” treat everyone with respect and courtesy. I try to frequent small business whenever possible. This is one time I would suggest to anyone considering this business you will be better off going to a big box store and wandering the aisles. At least you won’t be treated like you are asking something out of line. Oh...and a note to the business owner. A section of child proofing products may be a good idea. IF you at all care about local homeowners. Maybe you really are just for the commercial customer.

Nice place with a good selection. But, the middle-aged gentlemen with the glasses, literally ran me out the door. Starts harassing me and starts asking me what do I need when Im just browsing and killing time. I respond by saying just that (Im just browsing) and he says, Were a little busy in the mornings, so what are you browsing for, come on! Assumed I was gonna steal something I guess. And this after I asked about the return policy on an item. Which, by the way, is ridiculous. I mean, not returnable if used or installed for a brass air regulator? And all I wanted to do was browse and kill some time, brainstorming what other projects I could come up with. Im sorry but I aint coming back to this place any time soon.

After the demise of the very short lived Orchard Supply, the Ace/ Hardware store remained the only Hardware store in the area...All great there, even if the prices are higher than anywhere. You pay extra for convenience. Recomended for fast shopping visits/emergencies, if time is no concern I will look elsewhere for better prices.

Very rude and not helpful. I called to ask them if they had weather stripping door to seal my room from rats, and they told me to go online and look it up. I was calling this particular store because to see if they still have it. Things might changed due to the pandemic.

Im a motor nut when it comes to a small block chevy. And finding the right hardware is the name of the game! When it comes to case hardened cap screw bolts, this is the place! They are competitively priced without the fancy packaging. I know theyve been here for more than 30 years, so they must have a good thing going! You cant get more rock solid than that!

Every time i walk into this local hardware store, it feels right. The staff is friendly, helpful, and their prices are pretty reasonable compared to the major chains, except you actual can get some expert advice here. This is my default hardware store for most of my projects.

Nice hardware store in good location with ample parking behind the store. Good selection of hardware despite small store. Three stars because one employee was wearing a shirt with a double entendre about oral sex. The senior employee acted as a know-it-all and pointed me to a heavy piece of hardware when I asked about a carabiner-type keychain with a screw lock to prevent the carabiner from being bumped open. Right before I checked out I saw exactly what I was looking for, which was 6 from the cash register that the older employee used. I put the heavy stuff back, picked up 3 of what I came in for, and the old guy acted miffed at me for being competent enough to find something he didnt. Turns out the scan code for the item I wanted wasnt in the system, either. Maybe he only memorized what is in the system. Ill give them another try, as I hate giving less than 4 stars. Look forward to raising my rating and hope they read this and change their attitude... and rude shirts. You want to wear them on your own time, fine. But no way Id send my kid on an errand to that store.
