Love this place. A wide variety of the highest quality wood, the most helpful and knowledgeable staff, and the incredibly precise wood cutting services.

Came to meet with a carpenter to review stain options so we weren’t buying anything just yet. But we were still treated with courtesy and kindness and they were even cool letting us bring our dog into the shop. And the variety of available offerings is super impressive.

Dont be surprise on the ratings they are true coz i was a skeptic as well but not anymore! So i finally got around yesterday and stopped by the store and i have to say that these guys are solid my experience is nothing but amazing from calling in for an item and taking the time to really find me the best deals, I would like to thank Brian for helping me out and staying after hours to get my order in you are awesome! you dont know how many shops ive been and most of the times if not all the time will not accommodate you coz their ready to go leave, if you wanna open up or wonder why your business isnt doing well maybe pay a visit to Anderson Plywood and learn a thing or two about customer service. The Anderson Plywood Tool Swap Meet was fantastic. It occurs about every 3 months on the parking behind the store and through the alley. Over a dozen dealers with hundreds to tools, fittings, power equipment, etc. Parking is on the street in metered spaces so bring change. It takes about an hour to get through it all and the prices are fantastic. Very knowledgeable dealers.

Great place for plywood!

If youre looking for Phenolic Plywood they have it. Everyone was incredibly helpful. Got me exactly what I was looking for and made the cuts I needed. 3/4 18mm Phenolic Plywood - Euro Color Ply to make a replacement treadmill deck.

I was surprised not only be the high level of expertise demonstrated by the staff, but more so their willingness to spend time with customers even if they were only purchasing several dollars worth of wood. Had a really great experience here and will be referring everyone I know to purchase their wood from here.

This little store keeps on delivering solid service. I was recently also impressed by their prices. I compared three items here with Amazons price for the identical items. All items were within 50 cents or less of each other (one cheaper at Anderson Plywood Sales).

Great inventory and excellent service

These guys are great. I build cabinets and do trim carpentry around the house on the weekends. Over the last few weeks I have walked into the showroom early in the morning to ask questions and educate myself on the products and the services Anderson Plywood offers. Every time I have shown up I have had a great experience with each and every employee I have interacted with. This week I made my first significant purchase of material, milling services and cartage. Looking forward to receiving those materials at the end of the week. Already assembling a second project for similar products and services. Good selection of lumber that no other places carry. I called 3 places looking for a specific plywood, and they all referred me to Anderson. I only needed a 5 ft cut off of a 12 ft piece of Walnut and they didnt mind cutting it and only charging me for the 5 ft I needed. Friendly and helpful staff and good prices.

Great store for the professional contractor or even just the average DIY guy. Just make sure you have deep pockets $$$.I give only 4 stars due to the fact that the old man who works behind the big counter with the long white beard is a DICK And dont piss him off over the phone either... Ive seen him get so angry at other customers on the phone he actually starts jumping up and down in rage with a red face !!

Best finish cabinet store in Los Angeles. Hardwood, plywood, tools and everything needed to do great finish work.

Usually a nice place to be but today I received some terrible service (or lack thereof). Two people get there at the same time; The woman is helped first but wants a 4x8 foot sheet of material cut into 4x4 squares. The other person in line (me) simply wants a single cut to be made so he can leave & get on with his job ASAP. NOPE. I am forced to wait over an hour while he cuts tiny pieces out for a woman who isnt even there (she said she would be back in an hour after getting lunch) instead of jumping me in front, ripping my wood down, and sending me on my way. Awful customer service. Id rather pay more and go anywhere else than here.

Seem to have more than just plywood. Pretty good selection of slightly more exotic woods like bubinga and sepele.

The best service you can imagine. Amazing festool store run by Don, who has first-rate fabrication and festool expertise. Extremely helpful staff that is generous with their time. My favorite place to shop in Los Angeles, hands down.
