I purchased a supposedly Indian hair closure for my clients wedding updo. It cost $180. A week later the top of her hair looked like a rats nest. It was totally different than the Indian hair I purchased from Paulines and used for the rest of the weave. I was so embarrassed. I had to purchase a real Indian hair closure from Paulines to redo the clients hair. I went back to Samson Hair Shop to complain. Their customer service is awful! I showed the customer service representative the pictures(rats nest closure) as well as the piece of the closure that I did not use. I explained that I will have to redo my clients weave without charging her for it because it was not her fault that the closure is not real Indian hair. I asked for a refund. He said he would not give me a refund without seeing the hair in person. He told me to redo the clients hair and bring the closure to him. I said fine. I will post a picture of the closure(rats nest) below.I replaced the weave and called Mr. Chad(the owner) to let him know that I was coming in to bring the closure and pick up my refund. I just spoke to him now he is refusing to give me a refund. I literally begged him not to waste my time with small claims court. I am a professional and I can see that this is not real Indian hair. He then admitted that he buys the closures from a third party and does not know whether or not it is real Indian hair. Are you kidding me, I asked him. You cant sell a closure as if it is virgin Indian Hair for $180 and then say you are not responsible if its not real(which you can purchase for $35)! That is most likely considered false advertisement. Especially since Ani(customer service representative who sold me the closure) confirmed that it was real Indian hair before I purchased it.I Just looked online and I can purchase the same closure piece(not sure if its real Indian hair) for $35. That is why I purchased it from Samson. The customer services representative sold this closure to me as 100% Indian Hair. She confirmed that I can color it because she knows that I color most of the hair I purchase. If it is real virgin Indian hair it can be colored to Platinun blonde if you choose to go that light. Color is just an excuse most people use as a cause for bad hair when they know its not real human hair. This closure is obviously not real Indian hair and I can prove it.I will never purchase another ounce of hair from Samson Hair Shop and I will tell every stylist I know to avoid doing the same. I will not allow Mr. Chad to get away with this. I lost the money from the closure, I had to redo the client’s hair, she is very upset and if she does not come back - that will be a big financial loss to my income at the end of the year.
