I have personally been going to Metro Pawn for years now and I have found them to always be more then fair and giving me more then any pawn shop Ive went to in the Omaha, Council Bluffs area and Im 61 and went to almost every pawn in the area over the years and for me I wont go to the others ever again because my experience with them has never been a satisfying or fair pricing of my valuables. Dave and his team have always made me feel like my things are as important to them as they are to me. Nice place, great staff. Place is clean! I cant stand walking into a pawnshop and its old nasty and smelly. This place like walking into a department store, theyre organized, prices are clearly marked as well. If they dont have what your looking for they can help you find it. Way better than other shops that Ive been to on both sides of the river.

Absolutely Great Service I just moved here from Louisiana and had my credit cards locked up and I needed to pay a bill like in 30 minutes and the only thing I could think of was pawn my jewelry so I goggled pawnshops around me and a list showed up and I looked at metro pawn and loan and said I’ll give them a call to see because I’m new to the area and dust know what I needed to bring to pawn my jewelry anyhow the guy who answered the phone was super super nice so I drive there and what a great pic they where great the owner even gave me a little more for my jewelry because I told him I needed to pay a bill...great guys there truly good people thanks for the help. On a wing and a prayer I reached out to Dave about a reloading press he had for sale. Even though the ad stated no shipping, he was able to ship the items to me here in NJ. He went above and beyond in both communications and customer service. Thanks for everything Dave, the press is running like a champ. Nice to see decent folks running a business. The first time Ive been to Metro Pawn & Loan..as with any pawnshop you will think some items are high other not. This pawnshop has great customer service and who I presume is the owner is a good guy. PLEASE READ!!!Not only did they give me a fair loan, I blew a tire on their parking lot. They helped me for an hour. They had the tools to help (jack, drill), which I didnt have. My donut had a hole in it too. They put air in it and guided me where to go to get it fixed. Always friendly, but this time, they went above and beyond for sure. I wouldve been screwed for sure. They have a new customer for life. Thanks so much guys!UPDATE 7 MONTHS LATER:I had yet another great experience going to Metro Pawn.I bought a weed whacker as a Christmas gift in December. We didnt test it out at the time of purchase because I trust Dave, and he told me to bring it back if it didnt work. Recently I tried to use it for the first time and it didnt work. It was my fault, not realizing that I needed the 2-cycle mixed with gasoline. I brought it in and Dave pointed out my mistake. He used his own gas/oil to unclog the oil I already worked into the engine and he got it to work. Dave and his guys are so helpful and are always willing to help me out. Thanks again guys.

If you want to get rid of something this place is the way to go! They greet you as soon as you walk through the door and have a conversation with you while you shop! We went to ez pawn to sell a couple rings and they offered us very little and kinda snubbed their noses at us.. they seemed offended when we told them no we didnt want to sell them our rings. Then we went down to metro and he was very friendly and gave us the price we were looking for. Best pawn shop in town for sure!!

I went in today to sell a gold ring and the employees are super respectful and gave me a really fair price. Im definitely going there to sell my spare jewelry and to buy ps4 games for cheap... Like between 17$ and $40 for games. Psn is selling e-copies of the same games for 60$.

When i hear someone ask about a pawn shop i suggest metro pawn they are vary friendly and helpful and i have been going to metro pawn for years and get treated varry good every time

Great group of guys, minus the old crabby one LOL. (there are 2 older heavier guys, dont get them mixed up... as one is a stand up dude). Employees dont low ball you what so ever. Their prices, quality, speed of sale etc trumps sols, ezpawn etc. Truly a pawn shop with real pawn people that actually know about the products they have for sale, and also the stuff people bring in. Im guessing the pawn shop themselves have been giving themselves 5 stars. The prices they offer here are the worst in Omaha and Council Bluffs. The obese owner also like to come belittle the people trying to pawn items and low ball them. Save yourself a wasted trip on this place. Try EZ in council bluffs or Sols in Omaha.

I have always been treated with respect there. Its the only place I will go.
