This is one of the few places where you will find authentic Russian foods and products in Orange County. Pelmeni...be still my heart! My only gripe is the ladies who work here seem to get a bit annoyed if you dont speak Russian but thats not going to get them any fewer stars. Wonderful homemade Russian cakes available here.

I absolutely love this place! The authentic service, the good food, and the straight from Russia products! An excellent place to meet other people, and to experience a new culture!

Sandwiched between Ace Jewelry and Happy Pho in a tiny strip mall this deli doesn’t stand out visually but it has shelves of interesting products and hot food available. It’s always fun to browse among foods where you only have the pictures or your best guess to guide you. There’s a full shelf of a variety of teas and other lesser known drink products. Stretch your boundaries and try something from the Moscow Deli.

I give two stars to this store and then with a stretch, the assortment is meager, there are products with expired expiration dates, prices are many times more expensive for similar products than in King, cleanliness leaves much to be desired inside the store🙈. If we consider that this is the only Russian store in the entire Orange County, then it would be possible to have a more diverse assortment and better quality☝

If you like to eat good and healthy food go there.

Due to the convenient venue, the food lunches, the decent beer range with good prices, and the deli and meat counter is one of the best in the area, I shop at this grocery shop! Never a full packed or long queue at all. The workers are nice in general. Im sure Ill come back next week to buy a few things!

Just wanna say, you guys should update your item scan system, waste of time just at the checkout, why would you wanna manually enter the price thats so dumb and redundant. Your employees act fake busy, Please improve your service.

I LOVE this deli and the ladies in it. Quality, fast and theyre definitely Russian. They will be good to you and serve you well. Clean, very fast and down to business straight away. I go as often as possible!

I love this place. Its clean and organized and well stocked and the staff is friendly and professional. They have some rare Georgian wine here as well that is definitely worth picking up.Ive been in here several times and the quality of the goods is always high. I cant recommend this place enough. This is my go-to deli. Dont miss it.

I celebrated my PhD last night in this great restaurant. Well we passed a superb evening and the restaurant was indeed the reason for this fruitful celebration. Wonderful deli with lots of fresh Russian food, candies, and snacks. The staff were warm and welcoming both times I came here and the food is delicious. If youre not sure what to try, ask for recommendations and they will be happy to help.

For the best borscht in North America Moscow Deli is a place to go also other very fine Deli products some of them I cant even pronounce her name but by sight I know them and I love them

This is hands down the best place to get some german and polish food locally. I have to make a special trip everytime I am in the area. Remember to bring a cooler.

Have a decent selection of mostly Russian and some Eastern European foods. I didnt find fresh made food that fresh to be honest and one of the people working over there also has that communism attitude she brought with her. Basically get what you need and get out. Ill come back since they have some of the foods I miss from my own country.

This is one of the nicest little sandwich shops that I have been too. They also serve hot foods and soups like borscht and a mushroom soup Ive had both and they are delicious. There is also a deli where you can get Russian meats and cheeses and there are some smoked fish 2. But when Im in the area I come by for a Russian sandwich. The bread is fantastic the vegetables are always fresh and their meat tastes really good. If I havent been in a while I usually get the assorted salamis sandwich, I think they call that the Kiev. The polski is sliced kielbasa and it is delicious and Ive had the chicken cutlet outside of the sandwich and it is very tasty too. If you are traveling down Harbor in Costa Mesa I recommend this spot

Im not even Russian and I love this place. The ladies are super friendly and can cook up some very good food! I recommend trying the soups I forget the names(because I cant even say them) but theyre really good. One of my favorite little gems in this place is the pear soda thats hidden in one of the fridge next to the alcohol. If you need assistance ask the nice ladies, theyll be more than glad to show you where the pear soda.

A true gem in the OC! The only place you can get everything you want at this Russian deli! It takes me back to a kid to see all the candy I ate in Moscow. Great variety! Great home cooked food!!! There is also a table to sit and eat if you are to eager to dive into all your Russian goodies! Love this place! The owner and staff are so nice! I highly recommend!!!

Well stocked, little shop. For such a tiny store, they have so many items. Lithuanian sausage, and many other kinds, pelmini in every flavor, stinky cheeses, oliviaa salad, cutléts, stuffed cabbage, and super sweet Russian deserts. There has to be 5 or 6 ladies running around behind the counter spreading babushka cheer!

Very authentic. Very good. I had the Odessa sandwich. Although it was good, I remember it being better and having more meat.With that being said, i would still recommend you try it if you have not had it.Also had this mushroom salad. Its is creamy and I suggest you take it home and spread it on crackers.

I’ve been coming here for years. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. Kept me alive until graduation.My two favorite are the Odessa, which is fresh and tangy, and the Hot Sandwich, which is meaty and mean.I don’t think the two ladies who own the place has ever smiled at me, but they make one hell of a sandwich so I’m not complaining.*Pro tip, the sandwiches are huge and cut into two. You can either buy one and save the other half for dinner or go with a date and you guys can swap halves. More flavor to saver.

I will never come back again. 4 bottles of kvas and Rosinka expired 3 and 4 months ago accordingly. Kolbasa has no expiration date. Tastes different. I assume its not fresh too. Same story with bread.Not happy at all.

I grew up in a primarily Polish area in Massachusetts and have spent so much time trying to find authentic pierogies to prepare at home and finally found some! Their frozen pierogies are the best I have found so far. They also have deli meats and groceries as well as fresh prepared dishes and bakery items. Cant wait to go back and try more!

Since this is one of the only Russian Delis in a distance, it is good. Some of the items on the shelves might be expired so make sure you check. The deli meat is what I come here for. Really is the best salami. The staff is pretty friendly.

Very Old World experience which I like. Old-school cheeses, meats and sandwiches. This place is not for everyone but it can take you back to a different time.

The food was great. I think we were the only non Russians in the shop, so it really feels authentic. The lady was super friendly and explained all the deli food to us, as we were not that familiar with russian food. We tried about 10 different items and they all tasted great. Dont forget to try their cakes!!!

A lot of authentic ethnic foods, Ukrainian and Russian in a very compact store. Surprisingly no politicians or news media. Real cabbage rolls and real rye breads. Freshly made meats, sides, and desserts including poppy seed rolls and stollen.

A small deli specializing in Russian goods and foods. There is a deli for meats and counters for salads and desserts. This place is known for the sandwiches but they offer other other things as well. I ordered the pelmeni which some of the best Ive had.The staff is very friendly they even offered to charge my phone for me when it died.

I had high hopes for that place but I was disappointed.Rude and not helpful women work there. We came at 6:30pm but they were upset and giving us angry looks. The older lady doesnt really know staff she is selling.Overall its overpriced and food seems not fresh.The things is that I was missing home and went there to get something from home. Its sad that they are creating a bad image of Russia.We definitely wont be back.

Great soups and dumplings (pelmeni). Dont forget to try the piroshki (meat or cabagge filled deliciousness) and salad olivier (delicious russian style potato salad). They have lots of other delicious stuff. You can eat there at the couple of tables they have or take it home.

I will say that they have very good food but they have to be more cleaner. And they need a good repair.

What a great find!! When you walk in it doesnt look like much. Just a small cluttered store.But as I walked around I discovered the gold!Meat, beer, sandwhiches!!So the deli is in the back. I wasnt sure which salami I wanted so the lady was super nice and offered me samples. I got the jewish salami (nice smoky flavor) and a Hungarian salami (typical salty mild flavor)As she was slicing meets I kept walking around and discovered a really nice selection of Ukrainian pilsners! I about a few different kinds.At check out I discovered more gold!! A full menu. This place sells food! Sandwhiches and all kinds of other deliciously described russian goodies!Definitely coming back!!
