The lady that assisted us was very helpful (Lois). She had to go to the stock room several times to ensure that the items that we wanted to purchase are available. I ordered a few plates online and decided to go to the store for additional place settings. Its best to go the store in the future since delivery fees are just outrageous and also prevents mishandling of packages.

Customer service has ample room for improvement. I was offended by the lack of professionalism and this persons rudeness that I had to provide some free feedback so hopefully W-S can work on improving their in-store experience.After about 20 minutes of browsing, a salesperson approached me and asked if I needed assistance finding anything. I said, Sure! Can you show me where I might be able to find a truffle plane? She asks, A what? I repeat myself, A truffle plane. She asks, A truffle what? I understand she may not hear me clearly, were both wearing face coverings, so I repeat myself again, A truffle plane. Its used to shave truffles into thin slices. I can show you what it looks like from your website. She rudely cuts me off and snarkily says while walking away to presumably lead me to where it may be found in the store saying, Well, lots of things are on the website. Is it a mandolin? It would be over by the rest of the kitchen gadgets. I tried explaining to her, Yes, I totally understand that online inventory may be very different from in-store inventory but she couldnt be bothered to listen to me explain.Not too long after, we part ways with her saying, Sorry, I cant help you. No bye, no thanks for shopping here, no Can I help you find anything else?I felt she could have handled this interaction with a more human touch, kindness, zero pretentiousness, willingness to help patrons figure out solutions.I was surprised that a brick and mortar store would treat customers like this. Ill probably just buy what I need elsewhere.

It’s been a NIGHTMARE!!! I been waiting for my BED FRAMES for over 10 months . They keep promising and promising, I spoke to them over 100 times ..Nothing as of this date done yet .. the worst service I ever got in my entire life .
I wish I could live here. The products are great and display is amazing!However, service is unfortunately average. Sometimes I get attitude and dont get the sense the employees want to help me.
If I could give 0 stars, I would!!! Ive called numerous times over the past week regarding an order. First off, they cant cancel an order!! Its not an option on our end or their end. Second, they cant give you a receipt for the order you had placed! My order was canceled, but it was delivered anyway, so we decided on keeping the item. I called (about 6 times) to try to pay for this item! I paid with 2 gift cards, and the rest on my credit card, and when I called for a receipt showing these payments, they said they cant give me a payment receipt, only a confirmation! Ok, so will the confirmation email show that I had paid with 2 gift cards and credit card? Their reply? I cant see and dont know what your confirmation email will have on it. I have no words, Im so frustrated and appalled by these actions from such a great company. Ill leave with this, hope you like being hung up on!! Almost every other time I call, I am hung up on - after waiting 15 - 20 minutes to speak with someone, I get hung up on. And then I have to call back and wait another 15 minutes and pray they dont hang up on me! I get better customer treatment from Target.

This store is very disorganized and dont know their product all that well.I came here for an event that I signed up for The Store is Yours thats supposedly happened at all the Williams-Sonoma store.I called earlier in the day to confirm since I didnt get an email confirmation. The person over the phone said yes to come . As soon as I got there, no one knew that the event was supposed to take place.I waited 15 minutes for a manager to come tell me the person who was in charge of the event is gone. Like, excuse me? But she set me up with those registry scanner so I can go around the store and check off items I want to add to my list.I wandered around and the one I found most helpful was the knives department and my least favorable was the espresso machine department. She knew nothing other than pressing some buttons that my 3 year old niece can do.When I asked about the specs she found it easier for me to look at their computer screen. Then I asked about the warranty for the Jura machines but then again she didnt know that information off the top of her head. Couldnt find the information.If I am wanting a $3000 coffee machine, treat it like such. Like I am buying a freaking Porsche.To make it worse, I wrote a message to corporate and no one has reached out to me about this.Talk about customer service on all level. I am removing my wedding registry because customers DO NOT COME FIRST.Thanks for wasting my time Williams- Sonoma
Usually 5 stars. We come here a lot, and I really like the high-quality products, and the typically excellent staff. This is the type of store that radiates excellence, and is rare jewel in the world of retail sales.Today, I asked the saleslady if she could order a Dolce Gabana SMEG mixer. She turns her head to me to answer my question, but oddly wont open her eyelids! She says they can order it, still facing towards me but with her eyes closed and kinda blinking a little! So weird, like she had tourettes or something. It was very off putting, and made me feel uncomfortable, like there was some ugly reason she didnt want to look me in the eye. Not very hospitable at all, and this in a place I usually like to come to. High strangeness.Then this big fat old sales guy somehow just has to bump into me, when there was 4 clear feet behind me to pass by. Later I saw him bump into a piece of furniture for no apparent reason. Can anyone be that awkward?Must be temporary holiday helpers?

This is a beautiful store selling very attractive culinary pieces in an upper scale atmosphere (the Crystal Court section of South Coast Plaza). As with any Williams and Sonoma, this is a place to shop for those beautiful, standout pieces for the kitchen or dining room that you and your guests will be commenting on for years to come. Now, youll likely be paying a hefty price, but if youre shopping at this store, you likely dont care. A very helpful and friendly staff can be found at this location, and dont forget to check out their sale/clearance section at the back.

I went in to buy a knife and I was helped by Megan, who was very knowledgeable and really helped me find what I wanted and needed .
I like the fact that a lot of the staff that works there has purchased a lot of their equipment from there and the ones that Ive tried to ask enjoy cooking and Audi from their own personal experience rather than just working a job.
I went in with my 81 year old to purchase two Nespresso Machines one for her and one for me. I asked for a demonstration of the machine and she made a single espresso for my mother. I stated I would like to try the machine also and she scoffed about how they dont give away free coffees and they had coffee available for customers...You judged a book by its cover you lost out on a large sale. Shame on you. Your rep called you the Godess of Coffee yet you blew me and my mom completely off. I took back three of my birthday gifts and wont be shopping there anymore. Was out to buy two 8 tier Enclumes and a 6 tier. Not any more I spent my money at the Nespresso Boutique that was all thanks to her attitude. I spend around 12K a year with you for our cooking show I wont be spending that with Williams Sonoma anymore.
Worst kitchen store experience yet. I was getting help with a casarole dish and pot choices and two different sales ladies had no idea about the products they had in stock. All I got was ohh I have personally never used that pot so I dont know much about it. Then one sales rep asked another lady in a different section of the store and her respose was a pot is a pot it will do what you nedd it to. Not impressed with this stores sales team. Finally when I looked up my own answers online it took three ladies to figure out how to run the cash register to check me out. Will not go back to this location with service this poor. Waste of my time and just brought frustration to shopping.
