I just bought a twin turbo BMW 335i Hardtop Convertible and besides for one tiny dent that can easily be repaired, the car is exactly as described. Took my time off work, and flew from a diffrent state to LA to go see a Mercedes GL350 Bluetec on sale. The pictures on the website is far away from reality of how the car is. The photographer does a nice job covering all the scratches and dents and rips.

This place is awesome... Friendly service, clean business and good prices. They didnt make me feel like i was being scammed or finessed. They have some really cool cars and all in great condition. Ali Awad (salesman) knows what hes doing & was super helpful. The manager was helpful as well... Go here if you can, you wont be disappointed!

I came here back in August of 2019 and ended up buying a really nice car from here. Excellent service, especially from Ali. He really helped us and made sure we were totally informed and everything. Let me provide a little back drop before I get into the review, to set the stage. I was in the market for a clean Audi A8. Being somewhat of an Audi enthusiast (My prior A8 was with me for 5 years and before that was an S4 and A6.); I am very particular and detail oriented, so I definitely passed on a few A8s before I came to the one at Selective Motor Cars.I was doing an online search for the car on a Saturday and came by a listing of the A8 around 5p, I called Selective Motor cars and let them know I was headed down to look at the car. I arrived maybe 15min before closing time (5:45p) and absolutely knew it was the one. It was the cleanest A8 based on my search and after glancing at the other cars in the showroom, I knew they hand pick cars based on the collection. I will spare you all the details but I have to say that everyone in the dealership stayed late to accommodate my wife and 3 kids during the car buying process. I know it was a Saturday night and people often make plans with loved ones, but not once did we feel rushed during the process!Sorry guys for keeping you so late, and we cant say thank you enough for a wonderful car buying experience. If I can give this place zero stars, I would! We recently purchased a car from Ross drove over 4 1/2 hours to pick it up payed them cash, all for 30 min into the ride going home, the car was having me pull over every 15 minutes which turned my trip into a 6 hour ride, all for the next day I go out and see my vehicle on the ground, we spent 5000+ on repairs. This was a absolute nightmare.

We have purchased two pre-owned cars from Selective Motor Cars and highly recommend their service! Unlike many used car experiences, Selective is low-key and no pressure. They have a wide range of vehicles, both US and foreign, all at great prices. We had the vehicles inspected prior to purchase and they were in really good condition. When it came time to purchase, everything went smoothly and quickly, much better than buying a used car at a big name car dealership.

We drove 400 miles to this dealer to buy a car. The car was detailed and clean! Everyone who worked there was very kind. They gave us a great deal on our car. We had a great experience with them. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is buying a car.

I had been looking for this rare, very limited production (145 sent to the US) Jaguar for over a year. One with the right mileage & price became available online from Selective Motors in Costa Mesa California. Im in Rhode Island. I contacted Anis by phone. He answered several questions. At my request, he took the car for an offsite independent pre-purchase inspection I arranged. The inspector indicated it was in near perfect condition, with the exception of a minor transmission leak. The dealer had the leaked fixed. Anis arranged to have the car shipped from California to Rhode Island. It arrived 6 days later. The car was as beautiful as advertised. I was very pleased with the entire process - soup to nuts!

One of the most honest group of guys Ive had the pleasure of almost working with!!!Allow me to explain. I was in the market for either an E55 AMG, C63 AMG, or an S65 AMG. I found a beautifully customed 06 S65 in their inventory! After doing some vetting of both the car and the dealer I decided this would be a safe, site unseen, purchase as I live almost 1600 miles from the dealership. I contacted a gentleman by the name of Ali in regards to the S65. Long story short we settled on a great price for the S65! I wired them the money. They 2-day shipped the paperwork that had to be filled out to complete the purchase. While I was still waiting for the paperwork to come in I had a family emergency come up that forced me to back out of the deal even tho I had already wired them the money. Sadly I had to make the call to Ali that I could not go through with the purchase. After hearing about the ordeal I was going through not only did Ali not hesitate to send back the money that I had already wired to him, he was more concerned about what he could do to help me and my family through this trying time! What an amazing, caring group of guys at Selective Motor Cars!

I live all the way in oceanside and saw a subaru sti that i wanted to look ati drove all the way and was ten min away and he texts me asking for a reschedule? he didnt even have the balls to call me as if he knew it was a shady moveit was 6:50 and they clase at seven. At least he couldve let me check out the car as i was a higly motivated buyer

Worst car dealership ever. Stereo typical scumbag used car salesman who sells you a car just to get rid of it. Doesnt care that he sells you a car with shot windshield wipers ($80 each), broken glove box, broken stereo, driver seat falling apart, no lug wrench in the trunk to change the spare tire that doesnt match the 4 new tires they just bought and put on cause they are too cheap to buy a 5th matching tire (awd car) and too stupid to check and make sure they are buying the proper size tires for the car to begin with. Instead they bought 4 new cheaper smaller tires and left a mismatched older tire in the trunk as the spare. They clearly have no business selling cars if they dont know anything about them which they clearly dont. All in all a terrible experience and I wouldnt recommend buying anything from them let alone a car. The only thing selective here is the level of intelligence.. Cause they dont care what they sell thats for sure.

Seriously misrepresented the Mercedes S Class I purchased from out of state. Very disappointed in what I received vs. What I was told of the car condition. Shipping company they chose also damaged the trunk. Ghosted me when I tried to discuss and will not call or email back. Stay away.
