Their catalog is nice and it was easy to order from their site. But after initial checkout, for some small parts, the shipping was $21, not terrible but not great either mind you I live in Alaska and it’s always a little more to get stuff here. The day after placing the order was contacted via email to let me know the shipping cost for my $81 in parts was now going to be $71. When I asked for clarification on the price change I was quoted their overweight and oversized shipping terms and something about alaska. Everything could have been tossed in a flat rate box and shipped for $20?!I’ll give them two stars because they did respond and refund my payment quickly…I’ll just take my money to another company that wants customers

I spend my hard earned money here. Aint the only place around, but its the place I prefer because of their great customer service. They have always returned my email no later than the next business day. Great place and always clean. The showroom has lots of cool stuff to see. The workers seem too know their stuff. I tend to order in person cause I like seeing their showroom. Theyre quick on bringing out my parts. Their YouTube channel is very informative. As long as BROTHERS sells it, Ill buy from them.

What a run around! Ordered something in May which never arrived, though they said it shipped. Called several times to get corrected. They always said they were looking into it but never got back to me. You wait on hold for a very long time. I dont think I have experienced customer service quite so bad. Disappointing as we had ordered before and were very satisfied. Never again.I appreciate your response. If the call back system you initiated worked that would be a great improvement, however, I tried it several times and was never called back. I would appreciate a call from Alex regarding our troubled order. You said if you could do something for me to call. Well, I tried but got put on hold again. Please contact me. Have ordered from this place many times, never had issues with anything....up till now. Ordered 2 lowering springs for the rear of my 67, to level out the truck. I got the parts, looked at them, noticed they were really close to the same height as the factory springs I removed, figured, hey, maybe they just compress more. Nope. Factory height springs. Called them up, figure this will be simple. Also nope. Gave them the height measurements to the fender lip, they asked, are you sure the truck wasnt previously lowered by someone else? Sure am, had already replaced the front springs with Moog factory replacements, it has a factory right height disk brake conversion, everything else is FACTORY EQUIPMENT. I checked measurements my truck is factory height, they told me to take my truck back apart(I use it, its not a garage queen) and measure their spring to make sure. Basically every other excuse was thrown on why it couldnt be them sending the wrong springs.UPDATE: Got a call from Brothers and they are trying to resolve my issue, replacement springs have been shipped. Appreciate that theyre trying to get this lined out

Today I received part of my order for my 1976 C10, few parts were backorder but they will be shipped to me later and will be shipped at no cost since i already paid for the delivery initially of the complete order, shipping was great and very protected, i order my stuff to Chicago in the middle of last week from California so it was fast. They did not sent me a tracking number but since I have UPS account,i received a notification. Parts are good quality according to the price of each part, Some were cheap and some expensive but good quality.

Just received my second trouble free order from Brothers. All parts correct, decent quality and the price is the price. Im in Canada so shipping costs, duties and taxes as well as the exchange on the CDN dollar add up in a hurry. Some competitors calculate and add all the costs to the original invoice at checkout. Brothers isnt set up to do that so it slows the order down a few days while they get quotes but other than those extra couple of days my orders have both been shipped quickly. They told me they have to reduce staff working in the building due to the pandemic prior to my order. Upfront and honest. Kudos for producing and posting all of your how-to videos to You Tube also ! Thanks Brothers, Ill order again!

Ordered part for my 57 Chevy pickup, when the mechanic finally got time installing it, it was for a 47-53. Know they tell me itll take 3 weeks. Got same issue with POL, HAD TO GO BACK 3 TIMES TO GET THE RIGHT PART.I was contacted by Alex, customer service mgr for Brothers, who was able to take care of my problem and got my money back. Really appreciate the quick response.

Decent products, abysmal support. You’re better off shopping Summit or LMC.I ordered a rubber floor mat over a month ago. The website listed it as in-stock, which is why I ordered. After 5 separate calls, more than an hour on hold, and 2 incorrect tracking numbers, it turns out it was never shipped and I’m now told they’re “waiting for a component” to arrive before they can ship it. How many components do you suppose a floor mat has?

Ive been trying to get a catalog since 01/23/2021 and as of 03/16/2021, still have not received one. Ive ordered online 3 times and also spoke with someone after holding for 30 mins to even get a live person on the phone and was told it takes about two weeks to receive it. Maybe he meant 2 months. (Being sarcastic) Regardless, you would think a simple catalog placed in the mail wouldnt take but a few minutes to address and place a stamp on it and drop in the mailbox, apparently someone is dropping the ball. I cant even get a downloaded version from them. LOL Ill give it another month and then I give up. Sheez!!!Oh, and the wait time on the phone is absolutely ridiculous! Im sure they lose a lot of potential customers by not taking care of customers in a prompt manner.

I purchased brake conversion kit and some other parts. I spent over $800. Parts shipped slow which I get may be due to covid . . . . My experience with customer service has been brutal. The individual corresponding to emails didnt seem to give a rip about my issues. The telephone wait time was long and I finally convinced the associate that even though I ordered the right kit, they sent an incorrect part. I still dont have the right part. I submitted my order on 11-6-20.

Terrible customer serviceEdit: I contacted customer service yet again and a full 7 days after my initial order they completed my order. And another 7 days later my order shipped and its not going to be here for another 4 days. All in all more than 3 weeks from placing my order before I get my parts and that is with me hassling them to actually do their job. All in all terrible experience, Ill never order from them again and Ill never let a friend order from them either.

Ordered 1 item online and took almost a month to arrive. Credit card was charged immediately but never received shipment notification nor tracking number. I emailed them and was told it was back ordered which they had not told me and it did not say so when I ordered. 2 weeks later I call because I haven’t heard anything and after being on hold for over an hour someone finally answered and they were able to give me a tracking number (no email notification). Would not recommend buying online from them .

Wait times on telephone are horrific. We are all in covid times but sales reps can work from home and answer the phones. Waited on line for half hour to be disconnected. Would not order again. No follow up what so ever on back ordered parts. I had to chase them down to find out where my parts are. Poor service

It has been 20 days since my order and I still have not received any information whatsoever. The only thing theyve done is charge me, other than that, nothing. Seems like communication from company to client does not exist, it would be nice to know approximately when itll ship and when it does, tracking info needs to be provided so we know when to expect the order. These parts are expensive and we need to be aware of when theyll arrive. dissapointed..

Attempted to contact Brothers by phone for a question on a few parts, never got a hold of anyone, waiting on hold for 45 mins and call was disconnect. Called three different day and never go through. Attempted to email, got a hold of Alex and was promised a call back the next day and never received the call. In other words, how you expect business without being able to answer the customers request. Just ended ordering everything through CJ Pony parts. Answered within a few minutes after calling and order over 3k in parts.

My first order was great. Everything showed up promptly and in great order. But following that I spent roughly 2500.00 on parts. I made my order and was looking forward to getting my order. I figured it may take a while since I ordered bigger parts (hubs and leaf springs). I got order confirmation and that was it. After a week and a half I called to see what was going on. I was Informed that my larger parts were on back order. Which isnt the end of the world. But that was not stated online and I never received notification that the products were I back order. They offered to ship what they had. Which I appreciated but was bugged ath the communication. I asked when the parts would be available. I was told my hubs would be in stock in just a few days but they said it would be 2-3 weeks before the springs were in stock. I checked in 2 days after I was told the hubs would be in stock and they still had nothing. I never got an update. While waiting I ordered some brake cables for the parking brake on my truck. They sent them but they were missing parts. I called in to get the issue handled. The rep was nice. He said it would be handled after l identified the missing parts with him. But have not received any shipping or confirmation notifications. I like the ease of use I the website. But I feel as though the service is lacking on the communication side.

Im doing a frame off restoration on a 1970 C10 and bough everything I needed for a 4-wheel disc conversion from Brothers truck parts. I should have listened my gut and purchased elsewhere after my first 20 minute hold experience before purchasing but alas I purchased nearly $2,000 worth of stuff from these folks in October. Once I got everything it turned out whoever picked the product in their warehouse shipped me the correct kit for the front of my truck but the wrong kit (wrong bolt pattern and caliper brackets) for the rear. It took me calling in three times before I was ever able to get hold of someone.Once I finally got hold of someone they asked me to text them pictures of the product I received to confirm what theyd shipped me. I did that, never got a response until I called in asked what was up. They told me to box up the wrong product and theyd issue a UPS call tag and have it picked up from my porch. I did that, it sat there for a week. Had to endure excessive hold times again, finally got hold of someone and it turns out whoevers job it was to finish the call tag process hadnt finished their job. Finally got the package picked up and its been another two weeks, still havent received my rear disc brake kit. I ordered everything in October. Here I am a week away from 2019 and my truck is still sitting on jack stands with no rear brakes when I need to be taking it to the body shop to have the body put on the frame. I feel like I have to babysit the sales rep and call in every couple of days to see if he did his job or if hes just messing around at work with his buddies. I still need my parts Brothers!

Im glad Brothers sent me a Black Friday Sale reminder today. It reminded me that theyve blown off my request for a return authorization number.My 16yo son is restoring an old GMC truck. Ordered the rollup window actuators. The drivers side didnt fit. Seen in picture. Tried drilling a different hole. It worked, but window wouldnt roll all the way down. Ordered one from Goodmark. It fit like a glove.They sent me a part that doesnt fit. If they make it right Ill remove this.We need lots of parts, but not with this customer service.Update: After reading their response I checked the email Id sent them and Jamie was who I had already contacted. I tried again and havent gotten a response yet.

And if they don’t know they ask each other pretty cool seeing team work in front of you.I made my order over the phone and it was easy and quick. I’ve ordered close to, if not over, $1000 in parts from Brothers Trucks. The quality is without issue. Shipping time and damage control are good. Prices are competitive.Ive had two issues . One was for a missing float to a fuel tank sensor. The other issues was credit for a canceled order charged before being sent ( I found the steering box less expensive elsewhere). Both issues were resolved without any problems or a lengthy issue in a resolution process.I rate 3 stars ; as a business, I’d continue to buy from and one that does what a business would be expected to do for quality of products and customer service.Unavoidably, shipping costs and CALIFORNIA tax rates makes in-state purchases with shipping too expensive if other options are available.I find the DIY videos great, clearly helpful, and motivating enough to get me out in the driveway to uncover my ‘57 3100 and install the parts I bought!

Terrible. I ordered a very simple 3 item order 14 days ago. I recieved an email immediately and my credit card was charged immediately. That night I recieved an email that my items had shipped. Today I called brothers because I never recieved a tracking number or my shipment......so after being in hold for 15 minutes they informed me that they would email me my tracking number......so they did and UPS tracking number indicates that my shipment has had a label printed and my items are ready to ship......so to recap its been to weeks since my order was placed....all items were in stock as indicated by them and now it will be another week before my order will be here.....I run a restoration shop....so imagine a simple 3 item ($60) order holding up a 100k build.....I could have ordered from Amazon and had it the next day. If you read this please know that their is much better options out there and to please find one.

I ordered a steering column on 06/03/2019. The representative who took the order said they had one. I asked him to verify that it was in stock he said he did. I verified when it would ship (within 24 hours) My card was charged on 06/04. On 06/10 I called looking for a tracking number. The fella I spoke with said the part was put in will call. Were in Arizona so we would not be picking it up in will call since Brothers is in Cali. The part was not in will call and unfortunatly was now on back order. No one knew when it would be back in stock. I asked to speak to a supervisor who promptly offered me a chrome column for the same price and then a rebuilt for a higher cost but below their retail price. When neither option worked he offered a refund. Cancellation receipts were emailed to me on 06/10/19 Today, I received an email from the supervisor stating that the order I had placed on 06/03/19 had been processed and would be shipping within 24 hours. Elated yet skeptical, I called for verification. stayed on hold for 15 minutes and was told no my order was cancelled yesterday and that the message I received was for their internal processing. I dont know how anyone would determine that this (see picture) was an internal memo for a refund.

They charged my credit card, but never sent parts. I then spoke to Alex (manager) who said they were increasing shipping charges by $150 dollars and that I wouldnt get parts unless I paid more despite written confirmed order amount. I filed a FRAUD dispute with my credit card company already and claim with Better Business Bureau. I am sure VISA and BBB will take care of it, but a big headache. Also filed complaint with California state prosecutor. Hopefully other people will get some parts that they already ordered before they are shut down.

I bought their one piece window kit for around $1200 it was on back order for over a month then after a few calls love the long hold times by the way.....It finally shipped to have half the hardware missing and one piece of clear glass one tinted that was in November its now 1/3/2019 called again to hear they have no record of my calls shocker.If your not a good problem solver dont buy this kit as it doesnt go in like their videos would suggest....

I have never felt the need to leave a review about a company yet here I am. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. On hold for 45 min then when they answer I was disconnected. Called back on hold for 30 min and couldn’t get a straight answer about the status of my order yet I got an e-mail saying it had been shipped last week. No tracking number...nothing. I’ll never attempt to purchase anything from them again. Leaving 1 star is a compliment. On the bright side they have refunded my money after 3 calls.

I’ve ordered doors, window kits, interior parts etc., and they all fit like factory. Even their Taiwan parts fit great! Please make sure your employees can read part numbers though. I never proof read the invoice but I’m going to have to from now on because of wrong parts given, even though i had them written down... It’s also the customers job to make sure everything on the invoice is correct, so just a warning to Brothers customers.

I sent a couple emails concerning a bumper waited a few days no response to my emails i called and stood on hold forever, got my questions answered and ordered a bumper for my GMC they said it was shipped, waited a few more days thinking they would send a tracking number nothing, sent another email had to ask for tracking. Received my bumper in a decent amount of time the packaging was horrible the chrome corners of the bumper were sticking out of the box and scratched, WHAT AN EXHAUSTING LET DOWN.

Ordered parts middle of November was given shipping quote then was told at the end of November that nothing shipped and they were still waiting on quote, quote came in and I was billed for order and shipping. HOPELESS. I’m based in the UK and ordered parts for my ’54 truck. They left some parts out of the order and sent me parts for a truck I don’t even have. Unbelievably bad service. I had an email to say the parts had been despatched, yet when I logged in to my account there was no tracking details and therefore couldn’t actually tell me wether the parts had been sent. You phone and you have to wait ages on hold (come on Chaps when the phone lines are this busy all the time it means you need more staff on the phones!!!). They only have one chap who deals with overseas orders and if he’s off your stuffed and he’s hopeless at communicating. Another lost customer Brothers!

Placed an order online. Did not receive any tracking information only a receipt through email. I find out a week later (only by calling them) that my order will ship out to me in 30 days. Horrible service from this company if I could give you a zero rating I would, I ordered a part and paid extra for the shipping to get it. I was promised that the wiring diagram was going to be included and guess what it wasn’t. I’ve contacted them five times via phone, once via email, once via their chat and even sent a text message to the “boss” supposedly and nothing. All I want was the diagram this too much to ask. This just shows that they just want your money and don’t care! I don’t want an apology or response from this review about how sorry you are just send me what I need!!!

Two out of three orders were shorted. Hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The manager Alex is very unprofessional and never returned my called after the third order I’ve made. Slowly responded to an email. Shorted item was said to have shipped the same day I called. Lied to once again by the staff and it shipped 04/12/2019 I called the 9th. Save yourself the fooling efforts of this staff and the unprofessionalism they portray. That have some great parts, don’t get me wrong. Have had a very disappointing experience with this company. After ordering many parts and having to return a defective bumper this company has failed to follow through and their customer service is a disaster. They have received the returned bumper in January and still have not issued a refund even after many phone calls and being assured it would be done that day. The amount of time spent on the phone with this company chasing this problem is unheard of! I regret having to post this but hopefully someone will reach out to me from the company and make it right since going he traditional method ( calling customer service) seems to be a dead end road. Ive sent a couple of emails through there website... an no response. I have questions about there products that Im interested in buying. Ive tried multiple times, and still no go. They have a message and live chat option... but it useless...Give them a 0 due to responsiveness.

I have ordered several times from them now over the last year, and have had to chase my orders to get them moving. The paperwork has been “lost” a few times now. So I would get an email saying the orders had shipped, but they really hadn’t.No tracking numbers are ever available on their website in the account order history so you have no idea of the status. I also think the shipping costs are a bit out there, especially considering that I live in SoCal.Seems like they are disorganized or need a better system.Now, I do have to say that once I contacted them about the last problem I had, they took care of it quickly and offered to refund some of the shipping costs.Still like this place, just don’t want to wonder if I’m going to have to chase my order every time I place one.

Dont waste your time ordering parts from this place! They take your money and never ship out what you paid for. Its been 1 full month and have yet to receive my items that I purchased. I called after 2 weeks and was told my parts were lost in the mail and would have another set shipped out again. Then I called a week later and was given the exact same story and told I would be given 2 sets. So now a little over a week and still no parts. I live in central California so I know shipping usually takes 2-3 days to receive things I purchase from their location. So if you are reading this review to determine whether to purchase from this company or not, DONT DO IT! Unless you like to give to charity because they take your money quick and just give you a smile and thank you.

Dishonest and terrible service. My husband was doing a full restoration of an old truck. I bought some parts for Christmas and he bought some parts for Christmas and they never arrived. My husband waited a month to contact them when the parts never arrived and they just gave him the run around. They tried to blame him for possibly rejecting the shipment or delivery driver for not dropping it off for fear the parts might be stolen even though he was having it shipped to his work and the hours were listed. Stay away from this company. What a rip off.

This place is awesome. I’ve never had an issue. I know they’re a small company and not big like LMC or the others. So I’m more patient with them. Plus their parts beat everyone else. Customer service is awesome. I’m not sure what everyone else has experienced with their negative reviews in regards to the customer service. But like I said I’m patient with brothers and understand more being a small business owner myself. Keep kickin ass guys!

Dont order anything from Brothers Trucks! This company is terrible to deal with and I was constantly lied to.I ordered almost $1,500 worth of parts and had another shopping cart with $1,500 in parts ready to purchase.In a months time only 2 of the 9 parts I ordered arrived and I have the original invoice stating 0 items were backordered. After a couple of weeks, I called and asked if my parts were coming. I was told that they were shipped but then returned and blamed me for possibly rejecting the parts. He said it is common for parts to be sent back because the delivery drivers dont want to leave expensive items on a porch. Yet, they were delivering the items to a business.I was told that they would reship my parts and in less than a week they would arrive. A week later = No parts. I called again and had the same exact conversation that I had the previous week. A week later = No parts. Out of the blue, I receive a refund without receiving a phone call or email. I didnt ask for a refund, I just wanted my parts. Yet after a month of not receiving them I finally received a refund.1 of the 2 parts that I received had to be shipped back. Before I sent it back, I called and asked about the return process and policy. I was told that information was on my invoice. I never received my other products and didnt have an invoice. So I asked for an explanation because I didnt want to be charged some outrageous shipping rate (Yet... I was)I dont mind paying shipping but was told from an employee to just ship it back and that they would take care of it. He said it 1) Must be in the same box 2) Must have insurance because if it was damaged I would have to pay. I did as he said yet I am now being charged double that of the item for shipping.IF the gentleman on the phone was honest and upfront I wouldve just kept the wrong part and tried to sell the part on Ebay or a local instead of lose a bunch of money on a hood that I now dont have.What a joke. Stay away from this company.

Had the same kind of issue most others have had, looked on their website for a locking oe style gas cap,they showed one and in the description it stated that you could get it in locking form,which is what i was looking for but no option for that so i called.they said ya you can get it locking and didnt know why you couldnt pick that on the site, so i ordered 2. got it in the mail and it was 1 and not locking!.So i call again and just get the runaround but they do send out locking gas caps EXCEPT they are not OE style in locking form like they showed on the website they are stant locking caps in chrome! I could get these at my local parts place without the wait of shipping! Even though I talked to 2 different reps neither of them told me that the caps were completely different! found out that i have been blacklisted from buying from them. sounds like did me a favor.

Ordered my c10 lower control arms a month ago, when I ordered them there was no mention that they werent in stock. My order confirmation did not show they were back ordered, guess what? Backordered. to this day no delivery date set. What is with these guys?? Last time Ill get snookered by them.

Customer service 1 out of 10cant check out as a guest,, you have to register just to check out,, and when I did register it said my email was invalid..so I called customer service just to wait an whole hr from caller number 14 to number 5 smfh
