Purchased an AFE Rebel exhaust system for my 2020 Ford F-150 XLT 3.5 EcoBoost. The exhaust system arrived with paint chips/peeling on the exhaust tips. Paint quality on exhaust tips is mediocre at best. I tried to contact AFEs warranty department multiple times to resolve this issue. Despite my emails, proof of purchase and documentation I have yet to hear back regarding my issue. Poor customer service. Not pleased with the exhaust tips. For the expensive cost of the exhaust system this shouldnt even be an issue.
I had to wait a little longer due to COVID for my Takeda Attack Stage-2 Pro Cold Air Intake(5 months), but it finally arrived with no defects that Ive noticed so far. Installation was straightforward but I needed some YouTube videos to help me with the installation. They have excellent customer service. I had also ordered some oil filters that FedEx lost during shipment and they immediately sent me another order for no charge. Overall, the intake increased the performance noise, but Ive yet to dyno my car to see what power the intake adds. I love the fact that it made more room in the engine bay than the bulky stock air intakes.
Have an intake kit and an exhaust kit on my 2017 Tacoma street truck. The intake box itself has had the clear site glass break off twice. Unfortunately, in warranty or not, they wont honor a clear manufacturing defect. The muffler also drones very bad about 3500-4000 RPM. Just bad designs overall. For north of $2000 for these kits, they should be designed, and tested, much better.
Ordered an intake for my 2021 F-150 7 weeks ago. After hearing nothing two weeks in, I called to inquire about my order. I was told my product was scheduled for production two weeks out. After another 3 weeks, I called to check again, and was told production would occur in two weeks. This has happened 3 times now, and every time I call, I get the same canned response of two weeks.COVID is obviously causing supply issues everywhere, and I understand that. What upsets me is that aFe is doing an abysmal job of managing my expectations. When they tell me two weeks, Im inclined to believe them. If its going to take 10 weeks, tell me that. At least this way I can make choices based on reasonably accurate Information. After theyve blown through 2 of these scheduled production dates, I dont believe them anymore. Now, this company has my money, hasnt produced the item I ordered, and I dont trust what they tell me. Why should I do business with a company like that? More importantly, why should you?Poor management.

I bought a cold air intake for my 6.2L Ford about 8 years ago from them and it has functioned beautifully this entire time. I did recently notice that the rubber boots were starting to crack and dry rot and the filter itself had seen better days. I guess you cant expect those items to last forever. I called up AFE and asked what the part numbers were for the two boots I needed as well as the actual filter. They were able to get my fixed right up. Thanks AFE!

AVOID AFE.BUY from a more reputable company that stands behind their products. AFE does not stand behind their products.Purchased an AFE dry filter for my 2021 corvette. Followed the directions completely and the filter would not fit. I purchased the filter online at a AFE dealer.The online company will not return the filter. Now i am stuck with a $100 air filter that wont fit my vehicle. I did speak with a customer service rep at AFE and she said basically try to return it... if they wont return it SORRY!!!!
In September of 2020 I talked to a salesman named Terry at AFE to purchase a radiator for my truck, he said that they were backordered and that it will take a month or so to build some to send out, I agreed to pay him and was willing to wait that long, then I called at the end of Oct and he said that they were still backordered but he would try to get one to me as soon as possible (nothing happened) so then I called back on 12/1/2020 and the receptionist checked into it and said it was still backordered and would have Terry call me back (never happened) so on 1/4/2021 I called to talk to Terry and again he never called me back so I requested a refund and that took 13 days and a few more phone calls to get my money back. I am wondering if AFE is having money problems.
I ordered a turbo inlet from AFE around Thanksgiving. I initially received an email that the part was out of stock until December. In December I emailed them for an update and was told that the part wouldn’t be available until January, then by the first week of February when I still hadn’t received my order I finally called their customer service and was told it would still be another couple of weeks.If you don’t have parts, or they’re on back order, SAY SO ON YOUR WEBSITE. Waiting 90+ days for a part is ridiculous (even during Covid)
I had an o-ring go bad in one of the AFE pipes on my truck. Warranty department said they would ship a replacement, two weeks ago. I emailed the department twice with no answer, then called a total of five times. Was told each time that the item would ship that day or the next. My last call to them was the same response. For those who read this: if you purchase an item from AFE, be prepared to dedicate a lot of time to getting anything replaced, if at all. I will attempt to find a replacement o-ring elsewhere.

Products are hit or miss, just like their customer service. Ive bought several items for multiple vehicles and had both great and terrible experiences. Because they have to approve product reviews, they dont allow any negative reviews to be posted, so I have to review the business as a whole.If customer service kept in contact and followed through with resolving issues, I might have a different opinion, and a working product. But when I had an issue with my most recent purchase, customer service was contacted and then they stopped replying. After trying to write a review about the product with lots of problems, I was contacted again by customer service, who again, stopped following up with me, even if I attempted to reestablish communications. It is obvious they only care about damage control-dont fix the problems, cover them up, and make sure a review isnt written about the faulty product.I rate aFe Power half a star.
***Update*** I purchased a lift pump model DFS780, and it worked great for a little over a year, but It started blowing fuses after it running for a few minutes. They sent me a second one and it did the same thing. I am not on my third after having to send the second one back to get rebuilt. When I received the third one it didn’t even work for 24 hours and completely broke. Since the lift pump had a two year warranty and worked for right at a year, the logical thing for them to do would be to refund half my money. I’m just going to order a different brand because this is ridiculous.

This company is very shady. Twice now I’ve ordered parts, chosen expedited shipping, and when I called to find out why my part hadn’t arrived in the allotted time frame I was told that the part was on back order. No email, phone call, no communication of any kind. They’ll take the order and let you pay for two day shipping even if they don’t have it. Their pricing fluctuates constantly, too. I’ve never seen something like this. Products will regularly be more expensive if you come back to the site a day or two later. It’s like they’re punishing you for doing research before purchasing.
Bought an intake and an exhaust from an AFE authorized distributor. The Intake did not fit the manifold correctly, despite the part number matching up to the year/make/model of my truck.The exhaust is the absolute worst. It makes an awful howling noise, and drone at highway speeds. I attempted to contact AFE support department, who was very anxious to close my ticket and have nothing to do with me. Aside from the awful noise it makes, the black paint on the tips started to peel off, and the dual tips do not line up correctly.They do not stand behind their product at all. When I talked to support, they said well if you want to return it, you would have had to buy it directly from us. Great, then whats the point of having authorized distributors?What an awful experience. I will never deal with AFE again.
Called in at 10:30 am for an aluminum charge pipe for my supra to be purchased at will call rep told me it was in stock and I would be allowed to come same day to pick up. Did 40 min drive to corona, paid for product with front desk then waited for another 30mins for the part to be brought to the front. After the 30mins of waiting I was told that they dont have product in stock and it wont be released until July. Ridiculously unprofessional will probably never do business with them again
Bought an intake on 2/6/2020 found out it was not going to work so I cancelled the order the next following day. I was told Id get my money back in a few days, but I had to keep calling back more than 4 times and even emailing the refund department, everytime I got an answer saying its on its way!! 19 days later I got my money back after involving the credit card card company to help get it back!! This company doesnt deserve A star!! STAY AWAY BAD customer service!!
Very poor customer service. I had problems with the quality and fitment of intercooler pipes for my truck and they were no help and pretty much gave me the cold shoulder. Would not recommend them to anyone nor will i ever buy AFE products again. They treat their customers terribly

Unfortunately I had to contact the manufacturer regarding a warranty problem with the exhaust system for my 2017 Jeep JKU. I was relieved to be put into contact with Martin who took the time to listen to my concerns and ultimately guided me into a replacement part shipped at no charge as it was determined that the issue causing the concern was in fact covered under warranty. Martin in their team arrange for a replacement part that was delivered within a couple of days. I am impressed with a quickness of the response by the AFE Power representative and the companies willingness to make things right. Thank you AFE!

AFE performance is the best place to get a cold air intake just got one put in my Dodge charger 2011 v6 the sound an over all performance of my charger is hell of alot better can feel an hear the difference in my car from the tech that instlled it to the front desk were very nice people also the price was very reasonable very happy with the cold air intake I highly recommend afe power to everyone looking to put mods in there car or truck thank u afe 😁😎
2016 Corvette Z06 AFE Power Part Number: 48-34131-PK the catalytic convertor disintegrated in less than 1 year into the two year warranty and it clogged exhaust and blew the MAP sensor and sent the car into limp mode. Ive requested a refund for the AFE exhaust, a refund for the original labor to remove the factory exhaust to install the AFE exhaust, a refund for the labor to program the car to accept the AFE exhaust because you have to disable the rear oxygen sensors and a refund for the additional labor charge to remove the AFE exhaust and return the vehicle to stock. Waiting on Martin or for whoever is in charge to respond since 02/24/2019 the last email sent. Simple to handle now before this elevates to a more difficult matter to resolve.

So I purchased a AFE Cold Air Intake for my C7 Corvette Z06 from a 3rd party vendor back in March. My vehicle was on order at that time, so the intake came and I thought that the 3rd party company I purchased the intake from sent the correct part. Come to find out my car came in, I went to install the intake and the part I was sent was Wrong. So i try to reach out to the vendor and at that point they are out of business. I thought I just got beat for over $600 for the intake that I purchased.I decided to call AFE Power to see if they can help me. Amazingly without any questions they accepted the old one and sent me out the correct one for my car.Im very thankful for your customer service and the prompt resolution to my issue. I let these guys borrow my cars (Audi a3, s3 and chevy colorado) multiple times for r&d, inconveniencing myself for the sake of eventually getting free intakes. Dealt with Ethan and Daniel in r&d. There was slight damage, scuffs to underhood trim of my truck. I was ok with it because I was supposed to get a nice intakes once the production kits were out, never got a thing, not even the preproduction kits that were on my cars. They stopped answering my calls. Very disappointed. Wasted my time and was out of my cars multiple times for nothing!
I am a dealer in West Texas and have a 2012 6.7 Cummins running the Bladerunner race manifold, front and rear diff covers and an aFe oil cap duhhh. Other upgrades are 5 TBE, BD Diesel Super B Combo, H&S MM, Overhead Mount, Overdrive Tune. Lastly we installed some Mishimoto coolant hoses, a Sinister Coolant Filtration System, ARP head studs and a Glacier Diesel CCV breather kit.
