We had THE best experience at Hyundai of Cookeville. We had been waiting for a Palisade for over a month and finally found one on their website. At this point, we really didn’t care where we bought it because we were so ready, but the experience there was so wonderful and we are so lucky we came across Hyundai of Cookeville. Since we live in Knoxville, we called to see if we could put a deposit down before we were able to go see it the next day, and they said they couldn’t do that, but Kelsey said she would keep us updated throughout the day on if the Palisade was still available. She texted us every couple hours keeping us updated which was super nice. We were thankfully able to get there before it was sold and we worked with Nannie on the sales team. She was so informative, had the best personality, made us feel welcomed and that we were friends, and she answered any possible question we had. We decided to buy the Palisade so she was so efficient at getting the paperwork together and the man in the financial department (I think his name is Caleb) was just as helpful at explaining everything in detail and getting all of our questions answered. Since we had to drive over an hour to get there, Nannie even had them go ahead and put the interior protector on the seats we had asked for so we didn’t have to drive back. We had such a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed working with every person there. Many other employees and we think the manager came up to check on us and ask if we needed anything multiple times. The car buying process at Hyundai of Cookeville was all around a wonderful experience and we are so thankful we came across them for our new car purchase!

I absolutely love my 2022 Santa Fa and I had went in for my first oil change on my 2020 Tucson that I would have had a yr in August but while waiting I got to talking with a sale rep named Nannie and before I knew it I was driving away in my 2022 Santa Fa 😊 Nannie made sure I was taken care of in all aspects while there and I cant say enough wonderful things about her ...only that she didnt pressure me in anyway but wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with what I was going to drive off on that day!!! My experience at Hyundai of Cookeville was not what I had hoped for at all. Originally, everything seemed fine. Cameron did a good job explaining the vehicle but in hindsight was a little pushy to get me to purchase that day (which I did end up doing). The next morning, I noticed a scratch on the side of my door which was not pointed out to me. I took it back immediately to have that repaired. Last month (I bought the vehicle in April), the leather on the door was literally coming apart from the door frame. Of course I had to take it back again. That seems like a pretty significant amount of issues for a brand new vehicle. I just called today trying to make my first service appointment and got hung up on. Not sure if that was intentional or not, but regardless, their phone operations have never been professional whatsoever.The finance department was a different story. My credit score was definitely going to be negatively affected if I hadnt called them because I never received the financing paperwork in a timely manner. It was nearly impossible to get an actual license plate as well. The man in the finance department said everything was backed up at the clerks office due to COVID. However, I also purchased a new Subaru and new Dodge Ram in the same month and had their paperwork and license plates less than a week later. He was consistently rude, uncooperative, and seemed to almost treat me like Im stupid. That was probably the worst thing about this experience.With that being said, I unfortunately cannot recommend Hyundai of Cookeville to anyone. It seemed originally like it would be a good buying experience, but the finance department and lack of professionalism was less than ideal.

I have never had any bad experiences at this dealership, however I am a little disappointed with the service techs from this oil change. When I left the dealership my little accent sounded like a diesel truck. Upon further inspection, they never closed the compartment for my engine air filter after they checked it. I would have went back when I noticed the sound but I needed to sleep before going to work.

Many thanks to Nannie for being such an awesome person. She continually checks on me to see how things are going with my new Sonata Hybrid Limited. The solar panel on the roof of my car is absolutely a terrific feature (It is sleek and stylish and SO economical). I have averaged 48.2 miles per gallon so far - the solar battery is saving us a lot of money. Instead of having to fill up on gas 2 to 3 times a month as with my previous vehicle, I only have to add gas once a month - even though I may not need it - I do it to use up the gas points from Kroeger! LOVE this car. LOVE Nannie . . .

Though I have purchased quite a few vehicles I have seldom purchased through a dealer. After speaking to a number of long time owners of Hyundai Tucson owners that not only recommended it but said it was the most reliable and dependable vehicle they had ever owned I decided to visit Hyundai of Cookeville. There I met Thomas who was not only knowledgeable but quickly made me comfortable in that I would be making my own decision as to which vehicle suited my individual needs. Even though he spent a couple hours with me answering all my questions and allowing me to test drive different ones I never felt pressured into making a purchase. In the end the price seemed far and there was no difficulty in making the purchase. and now 3 weeks later my appreciation of the car and it’s many conveniences and safety features along with its excellent warranty has grownI heartily recommend this dealership and particularly Thomas in the sales department.

Have had problems, have fixed some but not all. Two recalls- had an appointment to get one fixed and get the other looked at. Drove an hour away to find out their compressor was down and they couldn’t do it. Did not have a missed call or voicemail stating this. Was told they would call me when they got it fixed. It’s been months and nothing! They do not care about their customers. Will not fix vehicle unless the check engine light is on when you get there.

VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. Salesmen wouldn’t talk to me about buying the car, talked to the people that were with me. My name is the only name on the car statement. Salesmen added 4,000$+ on the ticket price of the car, told me it was mandatory and openly told us “we can’t make anything on the front end of the car so we have to make our money on the back”. Salesmen also pulled a used car for me to look at with puke down the side of the seat and stated “I can’t get back in the car my back hurts way too bad”. After going back and fourth with this man for over 4 hours I decided it was time to leave. After we left he called the person who recommended Cookeville Hyundai to me and said “we can take all the extra off if you come back now” still not directly talking to the person actually buying the car. Last but definitely not least he was unable to provide any numbers when it came to what I would be paying for the car. He had to go ask his boss and scribble it down instead of having a full view of what I was paying for. When asking what each individual thing would cost he would dance around the question and stated “I had to get it for my vehicle”. I would HIGHLY recommend Hallmark Hyundai of Hendersonville, they took great care of me and I left in the same car that I “couldn’t afford” in Cookeville .

Just purchased my second new car from cookeville great service and staff.

The staff there, specifically one employee by the name of Alec were absolutely amazing. They worked restlessly to make sure we got out ideal price for the car we bought and wouldnt settle for a penny more. They were also very accommodating and had an incredibly relaxing wait center. Their service was swift, fair, and absolutely perfect. I could not recommend this place more, they will get you your car for your price!

If i could leave negative stars I would. I would steer clear of this place if at all possible or at least the service department. They have been nothing but awful to me. I got my car inspected to sell and they not only told me everything is ok with my car then they charged me over 100$ to look at it and I dont think they did that because the next week I had a lady test drive the car and it stalls out on the main road and freaks her out and I lost out on a Sale. Despicable because if Hyundai test drove it like they said they did they did they would have seen what is causing this. So the day the car stalled out on a busy road I called Hyundai and left a message and of course they never got back to me. I will never buy a Hyundai ever again and if i can help it i will make sure others dont either. They arent made to last and are awful and expensive to fix cars. I will end on a positive note the ladies that answer the phone are very nice and pleasant and I dont know about the sales department. My beef is with service and manufacturing.

After your rude behavior on the phone. We left Hyundai after being loyal customers and went with a Toyota. Your tactic of being rude,dismissive and aggressive to get me to come into the dealership before you would give me much of any information was incredibly off putting. Maybe try different tactics with different people.- This was in relation to one of their salesman, Micheal Horn.Just a suggestion

They do not deserve 1 star, but I had to choose something. After taking my car to be diagnosed for problem, was called after 1st hour and was told they needed additional time approved to finish diagnosing. Approved 2nd hour at $96 per hour. They couldnt find problem in two hours. I picked up car and bought a code reader on way home. Fixed the problem in 30 minutes. Dont let them under hood. Come by and borrow my code reader and check it yourself. I will loan it to you and show you how to use it.

The guys here are really nice, which is why I gave it two stars. I own a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. It started rattling so I took it to a different shop. They said it had no oil (I just had my oil changed), told me that this car is notorious for blown motors due to eating oil and recommended me to take it to Hyundai. The guy told me that there are no recalls on the car and offered to change my PVC valve for $40. I said no thank you, went to auto zone, bought the part for $12 and changed it myself. Needless to say, my car was still rattling and continues to eat oil. I took it back to Hyundai with the letter stating that there is a Civil Settlement on my type of car and that I have a lifetime warranty on the motor. They took it in, called and said there was too much oil and that my car was fine, offered to change the oil. I declined. They charged me $84 dollars for an inspection. Yall, I took my car to Valvoline the next morning and they showed me that my battery is low and that I need to get a new motor mount. Things that should have been noticed during an $84 inspection. At Valvoline the Oil change and inspection was $40. Like I said, the people are nice, but I wont be back.Update: My car started smoking today, the person I talked to was short with me. Im taking it to Lebanon Hyundai on Wednesday. If they cant fix the issue, Im trading the vehicle in and more than likely never getting another Hyundai.
