Nice place. Got the part I needed no muss no fuss. The people were nice and helped out with some tips on installing parts. Ill go again IF something else breaks. I hope to not see them again but If I do need parts its the place i will go back to.

I have known Lee harville for many years and he treats me more than fair, always. And obviously not just me he treats everybody that way he would not be in business as long as he has been if he treated them any differently and besides that I just like his character hes just generally a decent person

Another we called was super expressive and we had to bring our own parts) so we took it here after someone gave us a recommendation. They did a great job and made it really easy on us. I dont visit salvage yards on a regular basis - maybe a handful of times. Ive been to this one at least 4 times (I see another visit in my near future) and they are respectful, reasonable and most of all, NOT RUDE!Lee and Elohi have been very helpful and accommodating each time I have either called or visited. It also probably helps that Im not a jerk when I speak to them. You tend to get back what you give.Update - If you call and they dont answer, theyre pretty good at calling you back. Thats good business. They have called me back twice after not answering the first time.

The person that operates the business is very helpful and courteous. The prices are excellent compared to new item prices.

Gave me the wrong wheels. I 6 1/2 wide wheels(the receipt stated 6 1/2), but the wheels given were 8 wide. When I called he argued with me, then hung up on me. It was after this phone call that I gave them a 2 star rating. When I showed up to return the wheels he refused to refund my money because I gave him a bad rating.

I contacted them today to find replacement panels for my jeep. The gentleman today was probably,if not, the most polite person Ive EVER spoken to in the mechanic/car sale industry. He was very willing to help and find a soultion. I will be bringing my jeep parts up there to see about remount and repair and I have faith their service will be just as good in person! I believe theyve earned a new customer!Will update my review once I visit in person.

My wife came to him for a hood and fender. We came from a couple hours away. He was polite and prompt. When it turned out that my wife had asked for the wrong side, he went to another company to purchase the fender for us. He went above and beyond and we will be using him from now on exclusively. Awesome place got what u need and fair prices

Quality parts at a reasonable price. I got my rear quarter panel glass broke out in December, everyone I called said 150$ or higher. A couple weeks ago my husband and father in law were there and priced a window for 40$ you better believe I bought it. Thanks again!!

They had my vehicle at their shop for a month. Never diagnosed the problem. Always had an excuse everytime I called. I went up there to get the key so I could have someone else to tow it to their shop & they couldnt find the key. They left the key in the ignition & locked the doors. Will be taking my vehicle somewhere else for sure.

My wife wrecked her car. We decided to bring her car to these guys. They were very friendly and did a great job. They made my wifes car look like new. We are very pleased with the work they did including they saved us $1,500 on the lowest estimate. We highly recommend Cookeville Auto Salvage to everyone.

Lee is a great guy but their experience with Allison transmissions is lacking. 6 months to finally achieve marginal running status for my Allison. Very little attention to detail and quality on my project. I could fill four pages with details and did with documentation of complaints.

Lee was a lifesaver when my car broke down on I-40. He was straight forward and honest. He worked extra hard to get me back on the road quickly and safely! Thank you, Lee!!!

Terrible terrible terrible experience !!!! Drove from crossville to cookeville just so I could get an alternator from this man that said he HAD ONE, I get there an then he goes to tell me he has to order it an it would be there in 4 days. I’m sorry but worst customer service ever !!! I would highly recommend “ALL THINGS AUTOMOTIVE” told the man at all things automotive what had happened an he did one better for me charged me way less an cookeville auto salvage would have. I don’t recommend this place to anyone very unprofessional!

Lee came across my wife while she was broke down just outside of Cookeville as she was traveling to Nashville to see our son at school. He arranged to have her car towed to his shop, and was able to get an alternator and get it installed on a Sunday in time for her to pick up on the way home to Knoxville. He dealt with her honestly and fairly while I was out of town and unable to help. Highly Recommend.

Theyre either crooks or idiots charged $1400 to replace a transmission that didnt need to be replaced with a leaking transmission then broke down before making it 15 miles doing the same thing it was with original transmission . Now refuses to refund money. Oh yeah and it was to my 74 yr old mother. One class act jack. Replaced the Transmission control module for $221 including shipping, car works great now that I fixed it

Been on the hunt for a engine, Called and was priced what I needed.. wrote everything down and said I would call back. When I called back I was told that the price I was told prior didn’t sound correct and to call back. Next day I called back and was told that I was priced a motor for a 92 not a 02 and that the 92 had the same size engine and that was their mistake... Knowing myself the 92 came with a 2.2 not a 2.4 and that we had discussed the 2.4 over the phone prior.... They managed to tell me they had the motor that I needed also but it would cost me more... I don’t care to pay more but I don’t enjoy being thrown around on prices I’ve been quoted. 👎🏻

Place may not look the best(it is a junkyard). They do good body work and the deer near my house should keep them busy.
