IF YOU’RE NOT GOING TO BE HERE DURING YOUR SCHEDULED HOURS, LET US KNOW SO I DONT WASTE MY TIME COMING BACK OVER HERE. THIS IS THE SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE IVE HAD AS WELL!! I dont know why its taken me so long to try this place. Ive never seen so many snow cone choices in my life! The staff was friendly and helpful. The snow cones tasted great!To be honest, Ive never stopped in because the parking lot looks so dirty and the picnic tables are stained. Getting past that, it was a great experience.

Great flavors and quality. Some employees pour more flavor on the ice than others, hence my four stars. I see a lot of complaints about the wait. Folks need to remember this is a snow cone shop and not ice cream. You can see them grinding the ice and flavoring per order. However, they could use some additional help to make order taking faster. I always use the walk up and receive quick service.

8/5/21 Second visit - different experience. Wasn’t greeted once arrived to window (even though we were looking at the menu). Car came through drive thru and their order was taken and placed while we stood in the heat. I asked why was the drive thru order placed before ours. Was informed ‘she read our body language’ and we wasn’t ready and the person at drive thru was ready. I asked, how did you know we wasn’t ready, you didn’t ask. Also, there’s apparently a difference in the scoops - traditional and to go (first time hearing of this). Picture with no snowball on top. There should be consistency across the board! 3 STARS8/3/21 First visit and I must say I’ll return. Ideal price and taste delicious. I ordered a large guava and bahama mama. The final product was enormous and my flavors married well together. I started eating as soon as the snow cone was handed to me. I couldn’t even leave the parking lot. Sat in the car and ate until I got the snow cone below the rim (didn’t want any goodness running down the side of the cup as I drove). Picture with snowball on top. 5 STARSIf this business isn’t too far out of your way, pay a visit (verify days/times open) and try a refreshing treat on a hot day.

As a transplant from Maryland, one of the 2 things I miss most is right here. I used to get snowballs every summer, growing up. But when I moved to GA, I didnt realize how much I needed that taste of home. Ive finally found it & Im beyond thrilled. This place is everything about a MD snowball stand, but it also has a drive thru!!!

IF I COULD GOVE ZERO STARS I WOULD THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD. I HAVE BEEN AT THE RESTAURANT WAITING FOR OVER HALF AN HOUR THINKING SOMEONE WOULD SHOW UP I WILL NOT BE BACK. The griffin and Jonesboro location would never do me like this, plus they give better service.

I really dont understand how they can make ice taste so good with their toppings. Fair prices too. Unfortunately the wait line (particularly drive-thru) can be long. Well, I rate based on quality of what I eat. Its really annoying to wait, but the ice treats are wonderful. 5 stars.

We tried Pelican SnoBalls for the first time a couple of days ago and it was sooo good! I ordered Red Velvet Cake and I cannot believe how much shaved ice can taste just like a piece of cake!! I cant wait to go back!!!💕💕💕

Love the snow cones. The ice is very thin and awesome flavors. They even have snow cones for your dogs. I always get him one when we go. He loves them. They have 2 flavors for them, chicken and peanut butter.

This place is FanFreakinTastic!!! First and foremost lets talk about the snowballs...they are PERFECTION!!!!! From dozens of delicious flavor combos to the perfectly snow like ice everything about these is reason to stop. Second notable mention is the staff they are incredibly friendly and patient with large orders. I stop here at least twice a week. If your opting to get yours to go ask for a flat top so it doesnt melt all over high heaven and your car. I cant reccomend this spot enough great for adults and kids alike! ♡

Over the years the quality has gone down. Ive been going since they first open and the guy with his kids was running it the first two years and those was by far the best. Now not so much. I went today and I ordered 5 all with tops to go. They didnt want to do the first two like that and then once I insisted they put syrup on the first half but didnt put syrup on the second half so all I have basically is plain ice lol. However this is my first time going this year so maybe I caught them on a bad day. Will update throughout the summer.

OMMMMMMMGGGGGG! Like my large snow cone was sooooo good. My mom said hers reminded her of her childhood. My sister had a Large one and then got into line again to get a kiddie one for herself. The line took forever but the end result was definitely delicious!

I am a New Orleans native, just moved here wanting something similar to snoballs only to discover they make their snoballs incorrectly. They shave ice and put it in a freezer where the ice gets hard so they jus grab a cup put syrup on and hand it to you. This is the worst snoball I’ve ever had in my life. Y’all are paying for over priced pre made snoballs that’s not authentic.

I first started coming here years ago when they had a location in Virginia Beach. Now since I’ve moved to Georgia I found out that they had them here, I was excited. I’ve went to the Douglasville and Conyers location. This location takes entirely too long every time. And I don’t need the excuse that they are hand made. If I’m the 5th or 10th car in line it should not take 30-45 minutes! No drive thru should take that long. That’s standard protocol. It’s drive thru for a reason. So you can swiftly drive thru. So not offer me walk up either because that would cause an inflation of people crowded in one area. Considering all the other places that serve snow cones and icees, etc I’m starting to believe it’s not worth it. You can literally drive further out and get something faster.

Pelicans has the BEST sno cones, hands down. When I lived in NC I had them every week. I craved them for a year and discovered there was one nearby. Life saved - especially during hot summers. It’s not as conveniently located like the one in NC so I don’t frequent weekly; however, I love it’s available vs driving 4hours to NC for it.

Their snow cones are SUPER SOFT!! I love that place. I went to NC and thats the first time I tried it. I never knew we had one here!! Whoever came up with this place! Thank you very much for having soft cones. Love you guys!!

Definitely enjoyed our experience here. The ice cones were great. They had a lot of different flavors to choose from. And the service there was nice and courteous to. They even had ice that tasted like real ice cream.

Love the drive thur! I visit this place quite often. I normally stick with my favorites so I’m not disappointed by the flavors. Every time that I have tried to switch up my selection it was a bust....that’s my fault! Depending on the day I visit, I’m charged for extra items like getting more syrup in my snowball but not actually receiving more syrup! I have no problem paying extra to enjoy a good snowball but Today I was charged for all the extras and got very little toppings on each of my snowballs. I understand portion control but if I pay for extra I expect that...Some days the customer service is a 10 and then today the cashier at window seemed bothered by me asking for toppings! This place was getting better...

My daughter and I enjoyed our first visit here!The ice is really soft as snow and they have over 100 flavors, including several sugar-free options. The employees are very kind and patient. We enjoyed the corn hole game, sidewalk chalk and life-sized Connect Four. They also sell $1 pup cups (for your pets) and there is a drive thru! The prices are reasonable, just be mindful of the upcharges (additional flavors, gummies, pickles, etc.). We can’t wait to go back! This definitely a great way to beat this Georgia heat!

Love the flavors and pelican bucks. Service is always nice; however, they are incredibly slow. It typically takes 10-15 min to order and get your snowball. Needs more people working there.

The Lil ladies on the day I went arent good at making Sno Cones. It almost made me wonder if they even eat them. Too much Ice not enough flavor asked for Cream didnt get it. Such a disappointment I had been wanting Pelicans for awhile and drove from Stockbridge. It will be a long while before i go back. And I love this place!

The snowballs are good but the customer service is horrible. Its a bunch of teenagers that work there and management needs to reinforce the importance of customer service. 3 stars represent the service not the product that is sold.

Friendly staff, delicious snowballs

My fiancé and I live down the road and I was so excited to take her to this place. We didn’t know they closed at 9:00pm and we drove up at 9:05. The sweet young lady working tonight was so kind to us, she took the time to make recommendations for us and then made both of us our picks. She was friendly, smiling, and so kind to serve us after she was closed. We highly recommend Pelicans and can’t wait for many more visits! Thanks for such a great experience!

I been to all the snowball stands in Atlanta fromKennesaw, Marrietta to Douglasville and Conyers location have to be the worse . I don’t who taught them to make snowballs but that’s not how . My snowballs is not suppose to be watery. Is Like the workers don’t care . I wasted almost an hour in the slow drive thru line cause they kept on messing up my order and I have to keep going back waiting In line . I only got there cause I live in Conyers . But if I have to drive 45 min to kennesaw or Douglasville I will have to . They never disappoint me . But Conyers they always to everytime . And Conyers is the only location without stuffed snowballs . They should just take off the pelican and just be called snowballs or Conyers snowball . Because they making pelican snowballs look bad .

Not sure why only drive thru is operating. Sat in line for over 20 mins, never moved. My daughter walked to window to order and they didnt even say anything to her. Like if your only doing drive thru at least have the decency to speak up and tell customers rather than looking and pointing at her like an idiot! We need Big Daddys back!!!

Fast and friendly service

Stopped by here on a Sunday evening with the family. The young lady who took our order was very friendly. Our snoballs came out quickly. The portion size was very generous. We tried a variety of signature flavors and all were delicious. Will definitely return.

Let me tell y’all something about this Pelican’s snowballs baaaaabbbbyyy the best I’ve had here in GA!!!! The ice was sooooooooo soft and smooth I was in HEAVEN do you hear me!!!!! I’m a HUGE ice fanatic and when I tell you I feen for ice, especially that ice that’s like SNOW OMG y’all just don’t understand!!! 😂 Even my 6 yr old said “O, mommy this is really good!!” All in all ppl please come and enjoy a little piece of heaven because this about as close as we’re gonna get!!

Best place to get shaved ice in Georgia, from the sweet cherry (simple, basic, sweet crispness) to the decedent Bahama Mama (think fruit punch but more smooth) to the bizarre Dill Pickle (it’s not that bad, don’t knock it til ya try it 😍), Pelican’s SnoBalls has got it going on!The atmosphere is cool as well and they even have a drive thru!!!

The flavor ice is good but the workers are unsanitary, I had to ask them a couple of times to change their gloves before making my ice after seeing them take a dirty rag to wipe the counter down with the same glove they use to make ice. On another occasion they use the same glove to pick up the bottles and ice bag, roll their shirt sleeves up and than use that same glove to make and pat down the ice I have to eat. But people do not understand unless they were in the situation and someone did the same thing to them. Tonight was the last straw, I will not be going back, when I ask them to change their glove they get an attitude. I am a advocate of supporting black own businesses, but I cant deal with them being unsanitary and catching attitudes because Im asking for you to be considerate of others by doing the right thing. In the end I just threw my whole cup away, they can have the $7, because I bought 2 cups. Normally I buy 4 or 5 because I have 3 children and they love going there. But we will not be back.
