Once we agreed on the price, the rest of the process went smoothly. The contract was simple as was the actual move. He put me in touch with the moving company which did everything as promised and much faster than I anticipated. The moving crew arrived at 8 am and the mobile home was gone by 11 am the same day. OMG!!I lost my house to fire, and went to 3 other dealers, only to be treated like they were doing me a favor.I decided to try one last time and cant to Southern.THANK GOD I DID!! Chris sat with me asking questions and actually LISTENING, and 20 minutes later, took me straight to the house I was looking for. Got it within my budget, walked me through every part of the process, since its my first time. The closing was today, and my new house will be delivered Tuesday. The level of customer service, is absolutely unparalleled!! I feel like part of the family at Southern, and I know that isnt going to stop once the house is finished.

They service is bad... they sold me a incomplete house but they got paid for it so they don’t care to come and finish my house. I don’t recommend this place....

This company was very disappointing. There is not one positive thing I can say about this company. I found them online then drove to their location to see about a mobile home. I would not recommend them to anyone. Communication is non existent. Customer service was the worst up to even the owner. Once the down payment and money from the bank was received they turned their back on us. We bought the trim out and when asked for a technician to come out and fix issues it was thrown together. When brought to their attention, their solution was to call TDHCA because they didnt want to fix the problems. The sales rep we were dealing with closed on our house without even signing his part of the paperwork then was terminated. It has been a nightmare working with these people.

We love these guys. We looked at sveral homes & got alot of turn downs. But the staff at Southern mobile homes did not give up on us. They pushed & pushed until we got one. They got us our house we always wanted. We are a very happy family now.

This is a self service mobile home sales business. I went into the office to ask questions about 2-3 bedroom homes and was greeted by a woman in her bare feet and small child following. I was told cash prices and to drive to the back of the lot to start looking. 2 trailer moving trucks blocked the way and we walked the property. Too far out of the way. Unprofessional.

These people are a HUGE waste of time. The salesman had no clue what he was talking about. The owner kept rambling on and diverting our questions. We had to wait and wait and wait with a toddler. The homes were very cheaply made. You are better off driving a few miles up the road and seeing Chase and Tracie at Triple C Homes.

This company has the best owners I have ever come across they strive to help customers invest in their future and attain the American dream of owning a home. Kudos keep help changing lives.

Very dissatisfied. Buy a brand new home only to have it falling apart before a year is up. Weve had to have constant repairs. Leaks in the roof more than once. My child cant even sleep in her own room because of a leak pouring from her smoke detector. Falulty repairs as well. Both bathrooms caused leaks that led to mold. They do bare minimum work. Please do not do a disservice to yourself and loved ones by buying into these cheaply made homes. You will regret buying from tru or southernmh. Worst buying experience. If anyone has seen Are we done yet? This is exactly what this experience has been. One messed up thing after the other. Ive seen reviews with same issues so apparently this isnt the only slapped together home theyve sent out. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. You people should be ashamed.

Chris Alford and the contractors he is associated with went above and beyond expectations...The sell of our home, and move of our new one went smooth and professional.Everything took place in a curtious and timely manner.I highly recommended Southern Mobile Homes.

My boyfriend and I had a very positive experience when we first purchased our home. However, since purchasing, we’ve had nothing but issues. When we first put the down payment on the home we wanted, we asked specifically if there were any limitations or permits we needed for our land to put the home on. We were told no, however when we tried running electricity to the house and the electric company told us they won’t do it without a building permit. We are first time home buyers so of course, we weren’t too knowledgeable on the whole permitting situation. So about four months later and thousands of dollars later, we moved in after getting all of our permits. We made a list of defects and issues that needed to be fixed by the contractor after first moving in. It took six whole months for the contractor to actually come out and fix all of the issues. We were constantly told that he would come and fix something on a certain date and he would no show, no calls were made to even say that they were not coming. We have had the home for almost a year now and they finally finished the repairs last month. And now, we have a leak in our roof (possibly 2). We have made numerous calls to the contractor and he has not picked up or responded. And when we called again today, his cell is off. We’ve called and asked to speak to the owner of Southern MH and we’ve been put on hold for upwards of 20 minutes each time. We will most likely be calling Clayton directly about the issue considering this company doesn’t seem to have any interest in customer service.

Craig and his team at Southern MH were awesome! I am a realtor who had a client that needed to sell a manufactured home that needed to be moved from its current location. By law, I can do one transaction like this a year, but when the more I looked into it, the more I realized there’s a lot more to this type of transaction than I could imagine. Craig was the only manufactured home dealer that would work with me. He marketed the property and eventually brought a cash buyer that provided funds on Wednesday and the sellers signed and received their funds by Friday. He took care of all the paperwork and the details to get the property moved. Southern MH Mobile Homes is a great resource for realtors who have manufactured home transactions that are not considered real property. They also have financing resources in place for those buyers that need it. I am very thankful and blessed that I found them when I did.

Please do not buy any home from these people. I told them long ago about a leak in my roof, which they said they would send someone over or contact the place that took care of it, but never did. Now with all this rain, my closet is coming apart and I have to use a big tub just to catch the water. Everyone that works there and works for them is a sorry piece of work!
