Our garage door opener went out after a storm and I called Overhead Door Co. of Conroe - primarily because they respect veterans. I was more than pleased with our technician ROBERT - he was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and quick with an analysis of our problem. He was upfront about pricing and didnt pull any punches or try to hide figures within figures. I would call the company again, in a heartbeat. Good to see a company who still cares about the service their providing.

Great service after the torsion spring on my door failed. They got someone out quickly, replaced it quickly, oiled my door and the track. Everything works great!

Do not buy from them!! They want $60.00 to replace a wall switch that is made of cheap plastic. Highway robbery! Lousy customer service too!

Our garage door broke around 9 pm...super inconvenient. I called Overhead Door the following morning a little after 8 am, and our door was fixed that same day! Lalo was our technician, and he was great. He was very polite, and prompt, and he did his best to work with my schedule. He had our door fixed in a matter of minutes! Well worth the call! Highly recommend!

I have dealt with this company several times and most recently with Jessica in May 2019. They are all very nice and helpful. We hired overhead door to install a new garage door opener 3+ years ago. They did a great job - system has worked smoothly and quietly until last week. Had an issue, called them and they promptly sent Mark out to address it. He is a professional, knowledgeable guy who explains things very well.Their warranty is good as gold.

One of my springs broke on a Sunday so we called Garage Door & Gate Services (they were the only ones open on a Sunday). They came out and replaced two springs and charged us $350.00. The tech ran the door up and down, up and down several times and it quit working. He left because he didnt feel good. They came back 8 days later (soonest they would come) and said it was fine- it went up and down once. The next time I tried it an hour later it was broke again. I called Overhead Door yesterday and they were here at 8:45 am this morning. They said a circuit board had been blown, probably due to the up and down, up and down, from the other company. He fixed everything for $290.70. We had him repair the other garage door while he was here. Overhead Door is awesome. I would recomment to anyone. Great service at a great price AND they know what they are doing. Five stars!!

I had my torsion spring break one morning and gave them a call. They were able to send someone out that day. Really nice guy. Very professional. Had it fixed in under an hour. Price was actually a little lower than what google said the average for our area would be for the job. (and upon further review, not too bad considering the cost of the replacement torsion spring and the effort it would have taken for me to find a place that would sell one to me) If I ever have another issue with the garage door, I will definitely give these guys the first call.

Got a new belt drive opener for our heavy wooden door. Great install and works very well. Did not think the WiFi was going to be worth it. WRONG. WiFi makes so many things easier including letting the housekeepers and dog sitter in. Then there was the battery backup, really is that necessary? ABSOLUTELY. Power out from the storms last night. Pressed the button and up goes the door. So easy. They also service the door on our rental property. Great service and excellent staff. Always reasonably priced and prompt. Highly recommend.

I called Overhead Door yesterday as our double garage door spring broke and the giant door fell down!!! They were quick to answer, gave a quote over the phone and the repair man came this morning. Actually there were two springs on the double door, so we replaced both of the springs to be sure this wouldnt happen again.The repairman called to check if someone was home before he came, was very cordial and informative and did a quick replacement. We would heartily recommend Overhead Door Company of Conroe!

Overhead Door of Conroe was a great company to deal with and I will use again! The chain came off of my business commercial bay door and Jim was able to get a crew out to fix it the same day. The technicians were clean cut and professional, and fixed the problem.

Terrible service! I was told Friday that the service tech would call Monday to inform me of my appointment time. Well he did call me as informed however when he said my appointment window would be 11:30-1:30 I politely ask if I would have it anytime after 2. Well he abruptly told me he cant schedule his route around me. Well whatever! I was able to get my husband to take off of work and be home by 11:30 and he didnt even show up until well after 2, LIKE I ASK! Then when I called the company line to express my irritation (believe me I was very polite) the girl on the phone sounded very short. I ask what their policy was for the inconvenience and they said we just wont charge you anymore than the service call. Well we ended up being nickle and dimed for lubricant. Are you kidding? Never again!

They have been to my house 3 times in the last 1.5 years to never fix the problem. The garage door opener completely quit working Sunday and someone was supposed to be here at 4pm today to fix it and no one ever showed. We cant get rid of this garage door opener fast enough. Absolutely hate their product and their alleged customer service!

These guys did a great job! The spring on my garage broke over the weekend, wasnt an emergency, so I left a message on their answering machine. They called promptly Monday morning and let me know when their serviceman would be by. He arrived promptly, changed out the spring quickly and showed me how to oil the rollers and spring to keep from having future problems. Garage door works great and is much quieter than before. Repair costs were very fair! I would highly recommend Overhead Door of Conroe.

Called them at 8am and my garage door was fixed by 1:30pm. The service is excellent from the gal answering the phones to the knowledgeable technician. We wouldnt hestitate to call this company again when needed. Thank you Overhead Door of Conroe.

I had a new 16x7 door installed. Good customer service from qoute to install. Price with coupon was excellent. Installer did a good job (arrived early, finished in under 3 hours, and hauled away old door). I would use this company again.Side note: Many other installers I found didnt even have a valid physical address or a single main contact phone number. This company has both and is rated by the BBB.

I would never recommend Overhead Door to do ANY work of any kind, even to my worst enemy. For the past month, I have had to call them out four (4) times to fix one of THEIR openers and despite all those attempts they were unable to fix it. The last technician who came to the house told me I needed a new opener (how convenient) and when he told me the price, I couldnt believe it. I asked to see if I could get a discount or at least credit of what I already paid them toward the new opener, but was told I had to speak to the manager. I tried calling three (3) times, leaving messages each time and never got a return call. I subsequently called OBriens Door and they were out that day and installed a comparable system for almost $100 less than what these knuckleheads quoted me.I guess they have too much business to take care of customer satisfaction issues. I would suggest going elsewhere with your business to free up some of their time; perhaps then they would get back to the people who have already done business with them and need support.

While there are many nice reviews of OHD company in Conroe posted - our experience has been the polar opposite. We bought four very expensive commercial grade metal doors for our architect designed modern house in The Woodlands and along with them four openers which feature the code dodger technology for rolling garage door opener codes. While the openers work OK - they ONLY work with the small handheld units and we have NEVER EVER been able to program the openers to synch with our HOMELINK system on our cars. HOMELINK opener buttons are common on MANY cars these days. When we first built the house we tried many times to program the openers to our Toyota 4-Runner without success. We tried it ourselves and then the folks from Conroe Overhead Door came out twice and they couldnt figure it out either. Finally they threw up their hands and told us - your wifes car is OLD (2007 4-Runner limited - a real antique I guess). We grudgingly accepted this. Enter our new BMW 550i X drive with HOMELINK. Tried to program it ourselves and with zero luck. Maybe if you are an IT specialist you can figure out the confusing and contradictory instructions - we never did. We called and called overhead door and to this day they continue to ignore us. Their salesperson whos name we wont mention would have been fired if she worked in my business a long time ago. TOTALLY unresponsive. We wont be recommending these folks to ANYONE. By the way our cars with homelink worked just fine at our other home in NJ that has a non-code dodger opener and also worked fine at our previous house in The Woodlands. Its NOT the cars.

Stopped by to get a couple of replacement hinges for overhead garage door and they had exactly what I needed in stock.
