Sydnie is the best! She is very sweet and professional. She cares about the health of your hair and helping you be knowledgeable about your hair care. Also her work is bomb! Ive been wanting and trying to be a ginger for a few years now and she delivered flawlessly! Im in love with the color and the health of my hair while getting here!
Love this Ulta! The store is always nice and clean. Plenty of employees on hand to help with anything you may need. I am still a little disappointed that they are not doing foundation matches with skin tones. I know u can return something there without issue even after being opened but just seems wasteful and ridiculous to just go there and buy a color and take it back if it does not work multiple times.The very best thing about this Ulta is Sydnie in the salon. See does wonders and I look forward to sitting in her chair everytime I go. So a sweet and engaging personality and she has a gift with hair color.
The store is fine but Alyssa in the salon needs 10 stars! She did both of my girls hair and absolutely slayed their haircuts. My littlest one wanted a funky side shave/bob and she gave her what she wanted to a T. People walking by were telling my 8 year old how incredible her haircut looked. Then she moved onto my 10 year old and gave her a cute short cut and her hair looks so healthy and grown up. Both girls are ecstatic and so am I. We will DEFINITELY be back to see her when they need it cut again!!!
Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Giselle! She was so sweet and patient with me and helped me find everything I needed. She even gave me some very cool makeup tips! I will definitely be coming back. 😊❤️
Scheduled a hair appointment at 4:30 to have the Stylist call and leave me a voicemail asking me to come in 15-20 minutes later because she had a client before me that was going to run over.So I planned on arriving at 4:45 per the stylist request and on my way in to this appointment I get a phone call at 4:20 asking me to arrive on time now, because the stylist now needs to pick up her child.I asked if I could still arrive at 4:45 because that was the original game plan, I even offered to reschedule, but was told that was fine come on in, 4:45 is still ok.Needless to say, I arrived at 4:40 and was asked if I would be willing to work with another stylist instead.I made an appointment with a specific stylist for a reason, and I feel this was handled so poorly and it felt like I was jumping through hoops for a freaking hair cut!I really wished they would have just allowed me to reschedule instead of all of this.. Its frustrating and unprofessional.35 minutes there and back wasted. Ill never step foot in this store again.
Stacy! She has a passion for what she does and it shows. I went in not knowing what I needed and honestly would have bought marketed expensive items that didn’t work as well as what she taught me. She spent over an hour specializing what I needed and helped me save money where we could. I continue to go back to her when targeting another area. She really changed my experience in facial care.
I have acne prone skin, and after struggling with the products I could buy at Target and Walmart, I decided to go here since they had high-end brands.I must have looked as lost as I felt when a pretty blonde haired staff member named Stacy came over to help. Most of the time I just shoo people away in stores, but I had no idea what I was looking for so I told her what I wanted to clear my skin up. Turns out ulta has esthetician on staff, and she knew everything that I was doing wrong. After explaining why what I was using wasnt working, she recommended a skincare regimen which I bought. Im happy to say its working, and my skin isnt full of pimples.So used to workers not caring about your specific needs, but she did. Great experience. My only complaint was the store temperature. Very warm, would think s company would appreciate the value of air conditioning in the summer.

Store and most staff are wonderful. I’ve never been required to wear a mask and have much respect for this location for that reason.My con is there is always one extremely arrogant and very unhelpful employee. She is a Caucasian woman, shoulder length blonde hair or so and claims to be an esthetician. I’ve over heard her grilling customers with questions on three different trips to the store and one of them I became her victim. I was polite and cooperated with her interrogation. She began to tell me my dermatologist was incompetent, told my niece she would gain a “leather face” with her skin care routine, advised us to get off physician prescribed medication because she didn’t feel it was right for neither of us (but she’s not a licensed medical doctor), she paced left to right and wouldn’t stand still for the 30 minute interrogation, made numerous child like faces at us, spoke with her hands in unprofessional ways that eventually made my niece politely ask why she was making faces and throwing hand gestures around at us, despite being questioned she never one time offered us a product to better serve our purpose for entering the store. We broke ways and shopped on our own and found what we hope will work and got the heck out of the store and away from her as fast as possible. We now try to avoid shopping there if she’s on duty or will drive to The Woodlands location. She’s that intolerable. I’m not sure how she is able to have a front line position with the public. Horrible idea being the retail industry.
I used the Ulta App “Try it on” feature to find my Clinique shade and unfortunately it was incorrect. I went into the Ulta and was greeted promptly by Bella. Bella asked how she could help and I explained I needed to exchange and find my correct shade! Bella predicted my shade and was spot on in a matter of seconds! I was able to get it exchanged with no issues at the counter by cashier Brooklin! Honestly, I’ve never had to swap out a shade like that and I was a little nervous about doing so, but the experience was great! Thank you ladies! Feedback to Ulta-consider re-assessing your “Try it on” feature! :)
Great selection but it would definitely be helpful to have help selecting new brands and products without feeling like it is a sales pitch.

The staff here are very sweet and help me find similar items to ones I want that Im not allergic to!Bought my Jeffrey Star Artistry pallet & brushes here on sale and its awesome.I love how they taped up pallets and other products on display so you cannot touch the items but you can still see everything. Its a smart idea and VERY sanitary. I hope they dont stop doing it and I wish every make-up store would follow in their steps.
Ulta has the best selection of cosmetic lines and accessories at great prices, and there is a beauty salon there too. All name brands of perfumes, hair dryers, hair products, etc are all available. The cosmetology staff is awesome in getting one ready for any occasion.

I booked an appointment to get a perm yesterday I was fortunate and got a young beautician by the name of Sydnie Christine. She did an amazing job perming my hair I actually had people tell me today that they love my natural curls and I had to laugh and tell them it was a perm its the technique that she uses it doesnt show the usual marks from the rods. She was personable funny we got along great she has a wonderful sense of humor and she is an asset to the Ulta beauty chain. I would definitely give her 10 Stars if I could so if you going to book an appointment to get your haircut colored or permed please call and ask for Sydnie. Hands down she is one of the best hairdressers I have ever been to and Ive been to a lot in my day. She made my day and made me feel beautiful when I left that store. She recommended products that worked fabulous for me and I am just so grateful that I got lucky enough to have an appointment with her. all the other employees in the store were fabulous too super friendly and super helpful but my beautician went way above and beyond and she is such a smart young beautiful African-American goddess I just think shes gorgeous inside and out. We talked the whole time about music art life I couldnt believe how knowledgeable she was because shes so young but she really impressed me. And I love the store whats not to love!UPDATE 4/24/21: I took my mom to see Sydnie today for an early mothers day gift. She got a modern pixie cut which really shows off her beautiful white hair. My mom is rocking this cut! LOL I would only trust Sydnie to do this for my mom and she knocked it out of the park! My mom looks gorgeous and got soooo many compliments on this style. And I hit the sale racks of course while she was getting her cut. I am so grateful for Ulta and Sydnie!! Thanks to her for making her look as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Made her day and mine too seeing her happy and confident. Going back May for color for mom then I will post a pic. ❤️ THANKS Sydnie!!! You rock!

Stay away from Ulta salon!!!! Alternatives to stick to selling makeup only!!!! I requested a hair appointment online which gives you the option for what level of expertise hair stylist you would like. I picked expert level. The highest level you can get thinking I will get great hair service. The online price was $120 for a perm I was okay with that. I also expected I would need to buy a product from my hair once it was permed so I was okay with that as well. I was expecting to spend around $200 . When I got to the salon I was informed that because my hair was previously highlighted and the length of my hair would take more time to do the price would increase to $160 for the permanent alone And I would also need a haircut. I explained that I did not want a haircut because Im trying to let my hair grow. The expert informed me that in order to get the permanent to stick I would need a haircut so I agreed to a trim. After about two hours of getting my hair put in curls and having chemicals applied to it. I had my hair washed out and when it was wet it looks good I was happy. I was a little upset with the total price being around $300 . But I left the store happy with my wet curly hair. About an hour later I noticed my hair had dried straight! I immediately went back to the store to inform the expert that the permanent did not take and not only that but my hair is now dry and brittle and frizzy!!!!!! Not to mention shorter because of the haircut that I DID NOT WANT!!!There was no manager on duty to speak with so speaking with the expert I was informed that it was because of my hair that the perm did not take due to my previous highlights. I would accept that answer except for the fact that when we started the whole process she informed me that because of my previous highlights and the length of my hair she would be able to do it for MORE $$$$ and I would have to cut my hair not that there was a possibility that it would not take. Ask for a refund I was informed that I would be getting a refund for the permanent only but still had to pay for the haircut. Can you believe that? My hair was ruined by the expert and now they want me to pay for it. Its been 3 days now and Im still waiting on my refund. my biggest regret about going to Ulta to get my hair done is that my hair is damaged and there is no way to fix it except for to let it grow out. Which is sad because before I went to Ulta I had long beautiful soft straight hair. Buyer beware!!!!
I loved it! My 1st time going there was amazing, I was like a kid in the candy store! Usually I order my makeup online, but not anymore. At least the majority of what I need, I wont order Ill just come shop at Ulta!

This company earned one star due to their total lack of compitent customer service representatives. It was as if my wife were a ghost in this store because the employees would not acknowledge her with even the simplest of common courtesies, and walked past her as if she wasnt there.My wife went to 2 additional Ulta stores in the Conroe area thinking the rudeness was just a fluke...Nope, it seems this company does not value its customer base enough to train their employees to be kind and considerate. And thats a shame too because my wife used to spend alot of money here. Emphasis on used to.

I have been shopping at this location for years; I cant say that Ive consistently shopped at any other location because all of my needs are always met here and the staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable. I came in to get Microdermabrasion done by Megan and it was the most relaxing facial Ive ever had! Initially I was nervous, but she laid everything out for me before we got started and kept me updated on what she was doing throughout the process. At the end I got this cute little portable charger as a complimentary gift with my facial & I love it! I would definitely recommend shopping at this location & visiting Megan for your skin care needs.

The hair salon is fabulous! Sydney at the Conroe salon is super fabulous!!!! When I first met her I was thinking she was maybe too young and that maybe I shouldve scheduled with someone else, NOT SO!!! She did my hair better than anyone else ever has! My color was spot on to what I asked for, she blended my roots perfectly for when it grows out! And the hair cut was awesome!!! She did exactly what I asked for, which is rare! Shes the only one Ill have do my hair from now on!

This Ulta SUCKS! If they don’t have the brand that the other locations carry, they won’t recommend anything else. Too bad I was ready to spend some serious cash. Guess I’ll go elsewhere! I’ve been here multiple times and this is the first time I’ve been offered help. Unfortunately, it wasn’t much help! She literally said “ we don’t offer that brand here. I’m not sure what the other stores offer.” Then she walked away! Wow I’d give no stars but that isn’t an option.

This is my go to place for all of makeup I cant locate at Sephora. This location is amazing. I can shop in peace. Its not jammed pack with people. The beauty associates are so knowledgeable and helpful. This is the only location I dont have a problem at using my rewards account. Its never a five minute delay trying to locate it. I get what I am looking for and I am checking out without a problem. They greet you when you walk in til you leave out. They walk the floor giving out assistance. They dont wait on you to walk up to them. Great location to shop at.
I absolutely LOVE this Ulta! The beauty advisors are so nice and are always recommending the best products for me! Sure sometimes their out of stock of items (they cannot control what products they receive when they are out of stock) but the associates have been offering to order the product Id like. I wont go to any other ulta!
Today I was shopping at the stores around Ulta, spending the day with my 9 month old. Naturally, it is easier to have her in the cart vs the stroller when shopping. Since she cannot walk yet and there isnt really a place to put things I would like to purchase in a stroller.I knew exactly what I needed- as I am walking back to the hair care section a girl says to me, you cant have the cart in here. Nothing else was said and she literally stared at me until I turned around.I went to the front and asked why I couldnt have a cart. She said because the cart was owned by another company. Mind you, I had taken this same cart into 3 other stores and nothing was ever said.I actually walked into the store it came from with bags from other stores in the cart and again, nothing was said. Obviously, it was not a big deal to them.Additionally, Ulta does not offer carts to their customers.Needless to say as a mother of a 9 month old and being 5 months pregnant, I did not feel welcome.Ulta has officially lost a customer for in store purchases and online.

They have a lot of variety of makeup and skin care products. The staff helped us with everything and they were so friendly. The prices can be a little expensive but they last for a couple of years.
Super helpful staff!! When they couldn’t find what I needed they called the other store nearby and put it on hold for me.

I read reviews & was skeptical about going, especially alone. I do not have much knowledge about makeup but I love it. I’m a stay at home mom & got a gift card for my birthday. I read they have a salon. Booing the appointment was fast and easy. Same day too! Mimi was my hair stylist. She was upbeat & talkative (not in a bad way) made it fun! She layered my hair, with a blow out.Next I had a list of makeup my friend told me to check out. I can’t remember her name but she was very helpful. Took time out & showed me the products & let me try a few on. The lady listened to what I wanted, understood I was on a ‘budget’, answered my questions & have me tips. It was a great 1st experience!P.S my husband loved my hair ;)
Used Ulta Salon this week prior to a photoshoot. Trying a new salon/stylist a day prior to meeting with my photographer was risky but Stephanie immediately put me at ease. She took my ideas and with perfection gave me the natural look I was trying to achieve. I would highly recommend Ulta and Stephanie for coloring and highlights.
I love this place and could on any given day get into so much trouble there. I went in for something specific that I saw online that they carried but once I got there that wasnt the case. So of course i bought other items instead.
The store is very poorly stocked in certain lines of makeup. A really large portion of testers are disgusting and used up or simply not available. Nothing is in its place it’s like they haven’t redone shelves in the makeup area in a long time. Can’t wait for the new store it will be nice for a while at least
I love how you can find anything under the sun inside ULTA that relates to Hair, Make-up and Beauty. I love their Promotions and Sales and Free Gifts. I love mostly how I have been treated here. But .... I did NOT love how on two way separate occasions I was followed sneakily and obviously checked on throughout my visit. It finally dawned on me that an employee was keeping an eye on me, and maybe suspected me of stealing. It was really weird and icky when it happened. I have never noticed this behavior anywhere else. And there was no reason for it to have happened here. Not a nice way to treat loyal customers. Since then, I shop at their online store. Its better than feeling degraded by an overly suspicious female bent on nabbing a shoplifter. I wish I had got her name. But after the second time, I didnt care anymore. Im not going back for a third strike if I can help it.

They provide a variety of beauty products and many brands also. The staff has always been helpful to me and if I cant find what I need, they are quick to provide an alternative. They also offer a great rewards program!

I visited the Ulta Salon in Conroe and had a deep conditioning done and a hair cut. The stylist was amazing. I spoke to her a few days after the service and she said the manager is saying she gave me me services for free and that it is considered theft. I have my bank statement showing I paid for the services and I have my receipt and bank statement showing I also bought some hair products. They k ow I paid for my services as a manager had to come up front and open the register to give me change so I could go back and give the stylist a tip. I will not be back nor will I be purchasing and products from Ulta again.

Will not get my hair done here again. Had a girl who did good at first, then the job she did just kept getting worse. My roots shouldnt be showing right after my highlights. When I looked further into my hair you can tell she got lazy and skipped a few spots to highlight. Im so tired of this chain. I thought I finally found my stylist but once again it fell though. Ive been to 3 different locations with 3+ different stylists and it seems they are more about getting you in faster and making money rather than making the customer happy.

I have visited the brow bar and the facial specialist. Both were great! The workers were personable and kind.With ulta overall, yes the products are expensive, but no more expensive than anywhere else. You get what you pay for! The only thing I hate is that the coupons usually dont apply to any of the brand-name, nicer products.

Walked around for almost an hour before anyone asked me if I needed help and then they didnt listen to what product I wanted and tried to sell me on something that I said was way out of my price range... the only good thing about this store is the variety of products.
The salon here is terrible. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.My hair was almost to my belly button and because of the stylist, Cynthia and the salon MANAGER, my hair had to be cut to my chin. Cynthia was supposed to do a bleach bath and dye my hair purple and messed it up BAD, so the manager offered to fix it for free a couple days later and ended up MELTING my hair off. She left 40 volume bleach sitting in my hair, NOT CHECKING IT, and ignoring me when I told her that my hair was too hot to even touch.I had long, beautiful healthy hair and because of this place I had to start from scratch again.. so there went years of growing it out down the freaking drain. They offered me a free hair product like that was going to fix what they had done and when I went in a week later to retrieve it, the staff, including the ladies who fried my hair off, were rude to me?? I feel like apart of me was lost that day, and I know its just hair, but I LOVED my hair.. I still cry because of what they did.
I gave it another try, and that was a mistake. To charge well over $200 for a color/highlight, Id better look good. Um no. I WANTED light light red with blonde highlights. You can see where the highlight starts right before the scalp. The light light red is not consistent. Im just done with that place.Prices are way high for the quality.

Asked for a foundation sample and the worker didn’t really seem to help. She found my shade and gave me some in a really small container and didn’t even write down the name or tell me the name of the shade .very rude too. I prefer sephora lol

I usually have very good experiences in here, but today was not one. I was forced to put all my stuff back. Two days ago was my birthday, they are suppose to send you an email on your birthday so that you can use it when you go into the store... well, today I told it was my birthday a few days ago, and she had me stand there and look through 15000 emails to try and find my birthday gift email. I look under Ulta, and said Yall never sent me one. Because, they didnt. They made my mom put half of her stuff back as well and most of it was suppose to be from the Sale rack, well it wasnt even in the right place!!! And wasnt on sale!!! My mom still spent $80 (whichis ridiculous..) and I got nothing.... I loved Ulta but this is it for me.. I will not be back!!! Id rather get my discounts and spend my money at Sephora!!!!!

This location is just ok, they are often out of products for long periods. They have a wide variety of items and carry tons of brands, but employees are often unhelpful, and absorbed in their own conversations with other employees. I asked for help finding a new foundation that wasnt so drying and closer to my current skin tone. The girl was very nice and attempted to help, but she kept putting on shades that were WAY to orange for my pale skin! I just thanked her for her help, cut my losses and will probably go to sephora. I was shocked to see the very obvious line on my jaw of dark orange she left, considering the amount of time she took to blend a 2 inch patch on my cheek/jaw. If you know what you need and they happen to have it in stock its great.
Definitely not the best Ulta Ive shopped at. The associate on the floor seemed inconvenienced by me because I asked for help. Wasnt very helpful at all. The associate at the register wasnt any better. Not personable by any means. I would rather drive to a different one where I know they welcome me.

Went to the Brow Bar to get my eyebrows done. They turned out great!
They have nice products. Two star rating is because I paid for lashes and for the sales associate to put them on me. When i got in my car I looked in the mirror and she glued them above my lashes leaving a huge gap between the false lashes and my natural lashes. Look like a Halloween costume. Next visit I was buying mascara and eye brow pencil. Young man was very helpful and sold me items he had shown me that I really liked. When i got home, being very excited to try my new products, I took them out of the bag and when I opened the boxes I noticed they looked different than the ones he had shown me and used on me. I thought maybe because they were samples they looked xifferent than the purchased items. When i used the products I realized these are not the same things he showed me in the store at all. Not even same colors. So I have to drive another 45 miles just one way to return items. They did not have the brow pencil or mascara I thought I was buying first time. Told me I would need to go and return to another ulta. So had to drive an extra 40 miles to another ulta. Got there and they didnt have brow pencil so refunded it. Exchange mascara for the one I wanted except it was suppose to NOT be waterproof and you guessed it, she said at her store they only have water proof. She was very confused why the first store wouldnt refund my money for both, as was I.
Make sure to sign up for point system same as cash with ur telephone number. You can stack points so u dont loose points and store is clean but should have more clerks on the floor.

I will always shop at ULTA, but this location is always short staffed, store is not very clean especially the entry door and store front. (Safety issue can not see into the store until you go in )Glass is all grimy and door handles are gross. Also shopping totes are filthy! I always get hair services (in Florida) and they would give a pre appointment call to confirm your time slot, but this location does not. Location needs overhaul with appearance and need more staff!
I love the Conroe Ulta store, the selections are great and the store lay out is nice. Will go out of my way to come here over Spring or The Woodlands Ulta.

The store itself is good, but on more than one occasion Ive been serviced by staff that had a bad attitude towards me for no reason other than they may be having a bad evening.
I went in to the Ulta Salon in Conroe Texas as a model and I got my eyeshadow done and my extensions curled. Now my sister who is a stylist there is being told that she has to pay for the service and it’s being viewed as theft, and management is trying to set her up to get here fired for falsified theft. The managers are saying that they didn’t know she was my sister even though I go there and talk to the management all the time. I have had several services down at the benefit brow bar and one at the salon all of which I paid for. I will no longer be visiting the Ulta salon or purchasing anything from them.
The management is utterly pretentious and rude. Youd think they were Harvard graduates. As someone who hardly uses coupons, it surprises me how difficult it is to use a $3.50 off groupon coupon when groupon is so highly regarded. Once they began to bicker about the coupon, I responded by offering the ulta coupon of the same value I had found in case of a groupon issue. Even using the ulta coupons are a fight. Im in retail sales as well and am very well aware that the customer is certainly not always right. If anything they are usually wrong, but this is just ridiculous. I also am aware the second you begin to get an attitude, you will not be helped so I kept calm trying to ease their unnecessary tension. If accepting a less than $5 equivalent of a coupon is just ever so terrible, than maybe you shouldnt allow them to be issued.As far as the staff goes, they are not much better than management. Youd think at this point Im basing this off my coupon experience, but thats not the case. Rudeness was there as well of course, but Im talking from every degree of the shopping experience. Ive never met such a retail staff so discourteous. There are a few Ive encountered who seem to have no let their ceiling-scraping-nosed colleagues ruin their good manners. If you attend this particular store, heres to hoping you meet the few! If you want to go to ulta, go to the Woodlands store.

If I could rate this store a negative, I would. Especially starting off with management. I had 2 situations where I disliked going in there. First time I had a manager who had an attitude because I asked her where a certain product was and after that she followed me around until I checked out. Second time I encountered her was at the check out. Rude as hell. I had to return some items that I recently bought and one that I bought a month ago but never used. She checked for the smallest thing on everything. Like you could tell neither of them were open. I purchased 2 more things and she had the nerve to throw them down on the counter && then throw them in the bag. Not once did she give me eye contact. She also took off 20% of my return when policy says I dont need my receipt && it was barely a month. To sum it up, this ulta sucks. Thats why I normally go to the woodlands one because theyre actually nice and help you. Who ever hired this manager should replace her rude ass.
