Shopped here a couple of times for our new home! You cant beat the prices. I prefer Walmart over Trager over and over again. You can find almost anything from personal care items to groceries. I would say, overall stocked up, clean, and organized store. They have security monitoring outside all the time to ensure that your vehicles are safe.

Its a great place to shop for multiple items needed for home garage🛠️, laundry 🧺, toiletries🧻🪠 auto🚛 and nourishment🥩🍱 for your body. Then once checked out you can pick up your car🚗 or truck🛻 after having the oil 🛢️ changed and last but definitely not least stop and fill your gas tank⛽ before going home. Preparing a good start the next day🌄. Has a lot of what you need.

Walmart has everythingggggg. From food to clothing, your pet food, laundry detergent etc. pharmacy as well oh goodness, love shopping at Walmart, if you need of everything at home to Walmart. Fishing poles etc.Clean restrooms yes👍. That is a good thing.

Great mix of people in the store. Shoppers seemed happy and tye store was mostly clean and orderly (except for the Halloween aisle that was a little scuffled - but expected).

I like Walmart because they have a variety of merchandise, as well as groceries, all in one place, and at reasonable cost. The only issue I have is that there’s never enough mobility scooters to go around, so sometimes I have to wait quite a while to get a scooter and do my shopping. Other than that, I usually get good service and I usually find what I’m looking for.

You’re already taking a gamble headed into a Walmart in Texas, right? Well buckle up because this Walmart is the epitome of dysfunction. The day before the freeze in Feb 2021, I waited over an hour for my $220 curbside groceries only to be told that they had given them to someone else accidentally, and then it took three weeks to get my refund. Today, they let me sit in the parking spot for an hour before telling me that my order was “stuck” in the system and once again they don’t have my groceries but they have my money for the next 48 hours. Also, fun fact about this location, several years ago, a distraught husband walked into the pharmacy area where his wife was working, sat down, and shot himself to death right there on the waiting bench. This Walmart is filthy, items are never in stock, and the grocery pick up is an actual joke. It’s worth the extra drive to save yourself from this store. Be warned. ✌🏼

Always fun at Walmart. Door greeter was the sweetest elder lady Ive ever met after a long rough day tired ready to go and she was lively and happy and full of joy need more people like her.

This store is always crazy busy. Its fun trying to find parking. Outside of that, self checkout is your friend. Be prepared to find what you are searching for on your own. Staff will help if you manage to find them. This is not the best place to go if you are in a hurry. The customer returns people are quite helpful. No complaints there. If you come to do money orders, be sure your form of ID is up to date, otherwise, they may turn you away.

Its Walmart. It will continue to be Walmart. Next time I visit, Im certain it will still be Walmart. Its comforting in its consistency.

Went in early in the morning to avoid the crowds. It was nice to see all the employees as well as most of the customers wearing masks. The smell of disinfectant was heavy in the air. Which is exactly what I want to smell now a days. You could tell the store was actively being cleaned. Very professional management and employees work at this Walmart.

Conroe Walmart usually has what youre looking for. The layout makes it easy to locate items which us good since employees usually try to avoid helping. This Walmart is clean and theyve added a lot of self checkout lanes so it doesnt take forever to get out of the store. Video games are cheaper than most other places so its a good place to save money.

Gas station does not let you use Walmart gift card.

It is currently under a remodel, so there is that. Otherwise the service is usually fast and courteous. The items I need are usually in stock and at reasonable prices.

They were very disrespectful at the night shift including the wanna b police the lady that worked at night cause the customer a clunker then followed her out side to talk bad to her like she was going to do something except run her mouth I actually returned everything I bought cause they will not get my business again except sandy at night she was sweet and helpful

I got a sprite, when it rung up it was ringing up as 30.00. The lady at self check out was just as shocked as I was. We scanned a different sprit and I went on about my day. A good laugh but I was holding up the line

Went to Walmart on 336. Scanned barcodes with the app to check price and it came up 7.37. the cashier rang then up at 16 .88 tried to show her that the price was wrong. She was very rude. Wouldnt fix the price. She got the manager who was to busy playing a game on her phone to pay attention. Said they do price match online. Wouldnt listen that it wasnt online price it was in-store price just kept saying no.

This store is going downhill fast. Its always dirty, the employees are so rude. It does not feel welcoming or comfortable anymore

This Walmart is terrible, poorly stocked, they rarely ever have carts inside for shopping. The type of people that tend to shop here are pretty degenerate at best. Would not recommend.

Theres a lady that helped us with the tvs this morning she was very rude and cursing while she speaks to you. There seems to be allot of rude employees at this location. Ive had this happen to many times now at this location so ill be trying another walmart out for now on.

Everything needed was there clean store employees asking if they could help . Was in and out in no time and did not mind a bit. Check out was quick. Finding things was easy. They had a great inventory, with all price ranges.

Was in and out without much of a problem! Associates seem to know what theyre doing and management looked like they were at ease, at least they were friendly with the Associates and the Customers without the bossy aloofness and the rush that makes everyone feel in the way.

They got what I need... The store itself is fine. Its a Walmart, and an old one at that. Not exactly super clean, nothing special about it, aisles are usually pretty well maintained and organized.Down side to this particular Walmart is the staff. About 70% of my wifes and my own encounters have been unpleasant.We get it, you work at Walmart. But at least have some self-respect and dignity and at the very least, try to attempt to do your job rather than just ignoring and scrolling Facebook, sighing at every question/ request, or just being blatantly rude.

I have a feeling that their is bad management. No clean up, empty shelfs all the time. Many staff walking around but really dont do much. Often I observed them for at least 1 hour,to see what they doing, like reorganize shelfs may be or pick up clothes that some customers didnt feel to hang back, just to come to the conclusion, they dont. Seems like the staff doesnt now what their job is. It all relates back to poor management. Ive seen other wallmarts that are super clean,Staff is working efficient and keep the place clean. So why is the Conroe Wallmart not taking an example on this. Maybe have a management Exchange.

Not a true Walmart. They don’t follow Walmart’s refund policy. Only will do $25 without a receipt, but they don’t want to tell you. They have lots of security and cops at this place. Looks more like a small fort than a place to shop and enjoy. Go to Montgomery Walmart. Not far and is an actual Walmart.

I may be wrong but from some of the other reviews I doubt it. Two black men were trying to return a defective TV they bought here and were accused of stealing the TV when they clearly had a receipt. Cops handcuffed the two men for over an hour as the Walmart employees reviewed the receipt. Both were members of a local church with one being a deacon and a former police officer. The one store employee had these good people sign a statement as if admitting they stole the TV and now these two gentleman are suing Walmart and rightfully so!!! Walmart has done nothing to make restitution. It’s all over the news!!

I am trying to work out my items needed to purchase elsewhere, like the dollar store or target because you get in line to check out and there are only 3 checkers open and 15 people waiting. I will NOT self check as I have already been accused of stealing. WM is losing customers and they dont care.

Ive been doing curbside pickup and have been really happy with it. The only downside is that I usually have a few substitutions per order. Other than that the service is great!

For many many years, this particular Wal-mart store was the only one close to me for shopping. It had a Woodforest bank location just inside the doors at the south-end entrance. Once inside, walking straight to the back south corner was a cozy and comfortable, never too crowded, sit-down McDonalds. This Wal-mart is so big inside, I would be completely worn out after shopping for hours and hours. The parking lot is massive too. Be prepared for lots if walking if you come to shop here! They do have the North side entrance at the Automotive center entrance. The Wal-mart/Sams Club gas pumps are conveniently located in the parking lot between the 2 stores. If you purchase a Wal-mart gift card, you can use it at the pumps to pay for your gas and save 3 to 5 cents per gallon!

DO NOT USE PICKUP OR DELIVERY AT THIS LOCATION!I consistently receive expired or rotten food. I wish I could attach a picture of what I received today- liquified sweet rotten sweet potato cubes. Management here is an absolute joke.

Found what I needed - a container of gravy mix, but it was approximately 7 feet off the floor on the top shelf, with a sign in front of it saying get an assistant for items on shelf. Last time I tried to get assistance with an item assistant was called for three times and after 45 minutes no one came. I left without bothering further with the gravy. Where there is a get assistance sign there should also be a CALL button to push.

Its okay. Pretty nice Walmart. The turn for it sneaks up on you tho.

I love my Montgomery Walmart! If you have to return anything, they are always so helpful! We also have our oil changed there and theyve always done a great job.

Im handicapped and have a hard time checking out. If they do have a regular check out open it is packed. Now I only go to Walmart for cat food and coffee. I do my food shopping at Kroger or H.E.B. I know that the prices are a little higher. But the checkout process is much easier.

Im really disappointed with store 400. There are always a lot of holes on the shelves because theyre either not being stocked properly or department managers arent ordering properly. In addition its frustrating for the aged & disabled when theres only 2 cashiers open because the line gets long. Walmart has abandoned customer care like they had when Sam was around. It makes me angry to see the store I worked hard in going down the tubes.

This store routinely racially profiles it’s customers. African Americans are followed around, falsely accused of theft and an elderly pastor was ordered to leave and never come back for returning a defective tv, receipt in hand. This unfair behavior is despicable and should not be allowed to continue!

I got about a dozen juniors shirts because they were on sale or clearance. I plan to lose weight and Im motivating myself to do so. I definitely did not waste my money, some shirts were 5 dollars. I got some meal replacement shakes and iron supplements and other personals. Definitely prices you dont see in this economy.

Had my oil change done there. Very friendly staff. All that work in automotive was very helpful.

I went in for wasp spray its normally easy to find, but its Halloween and all of the Christmas stuff has taken over the garden center. The section is outside now, but they did not have any wasp spray.

The employees are always friendly and the store is always neat, clean, and peaceful. And checkout is always a breeze, no long lines! I pass up the Walmart by my house to come to this one because I always have a pleasant experience.

I was needing a laptop, was gonna go to best buy but decided to go to Wal-Mart instead all around good experience.

One of the WORST walmarts I have ever been to. The staff is rude, automotive has know idea what’s going on, managers are impossible to track down and the store is about as organized as a Ross.

They are good. Not the best burger but more of a messy good burger. I like my burgers more neat and crisp.

So I used the self checkout today without any problems but I accidentally forgot to grab my $60 cashback. I realized I left it and came back to customer service. Apparently despite having video evidence of me leaving my money and the next customer stealing it, they cant give me my money. If the other customer had turned it into on of the employees or if an employee found it they could return it but since it was stolen Im responsible. I suppose it was my fault for forgetting it but its a little ridiculous that when they clearly have proof of the money being stolen they are not willing to give me my money.

Its Walmart, what else is there to say ? Just about anything you need, just a matter of locating it.

The location is great and the staff are friendly. I come here for anything from food to hygiene. It is an affordable one-stop-shop. The only issue I find are the lines for the self-checkout. I have spent 20+ minutes waiting to check out.

No long lines...the attendant at the self checkout always helps me to a quantity ring up👌🏼

It was online pick up. Had to call the number since app frozen on me. Very quick delivery.

I was greeted when I entered. Went in and found what I was looking for quickly due to the aisle/product markers. I bought everything I needed. A $19 pair of ear buds I bought came in a sealed box but, didnt have any earbuds. I couldnt prove that I wasnt the one that opened the box as I was returning it.

Of all of the local Walmart stores, the Conroe location feels the least organized and least clean.(Actually, they are one step above Porter, which should be condemned.) I do NOT like to provide negative feedback (if you can’t say nothing nice don’t say anything at all) but after visiting on the day school started I found the store in such incredible disarray that I had to say something. Even the employees I spoke with were kinda just throwing their hands up in the air. I know the day school starts is hectic but I happened to also visit the 242 location and it was not nearly as destroyed. Unfortunately, Conroe has always been a few steps down on the dirty ladder, and visiting after a holiday or significant event just makes it that much worse. Like, almost as bad as the Porter location. If you are a resident of Montgomery County and in need of a Walmart, I recommend the New Caney or Sawdust road stores. They have their stuff together in those locations, and staff is dedicated to making the floors shine and keeping shelves stocked and organized.

What other choices do we have to go for one stop shopping....

I like this WalMart because it is close to my house.Also, the staff are very friendly. I wish I could give it a 5; however, the problem is all the tv survelleince screens glitch and blink like crazy. This is a problem for some people. Perhaps someone could look into fixing that.I would appreciate alot. :)

I do visit this location often when I am in Conroe. I have noticed recently that so many of their products throughout the store seem to be in short supply. I have wondered all around the store on several different visits and see empty spaces in absolutely every area of the store each time. I am not sure if they are short on supplies themselves or employees to put them on the shelves. Most workers here have become very robotic and avoid eye contact at all cost in hopes you will not have a question for them. But good luck finding an employee to speak with in the first place. I have waited a ridiculous amount of time on several occasions waiting for an employee to be paged to an area for assistance. The door greeters here are always very nice and I see many customers being rude to them for no reason. The bathrooms are always a mess, smell dirty, out of toilet paper and paper towel and many of the door locks are broke or missing, especially the bathroom in the front of the store. Management does a very poor job at this location. I would suggest they have a better cleaning/stocking system for the shelves as well as the bathroom. And last but not least could you please advise your employees to stop discussing all their personal business in front of or with the customers, it looks so bad for service and it holds up the already long line. I definitely always see a big difference in product availability and customer service between the Conroe and Montgomery Wal-Mart. I would suggest if you dont mind the drive to spend your time and money at the Montgomery location.

Disappointingly small bakery. Good selection of other products, but in a few cases items were on high, inaccessible shelves (kitty litter, frozen waffles, pop tarts) and there was no one available to assist. The store shoppers for online orders are rude and agressive, but I guess shopping for someone else makes people cranky. Great selection of childrens clothes.

Great friendly staff here. I have always stopped here when I am in this area because the people you deal with here. In my experience have exceptional customer service skills and are very friendly and willing to help as opposed to other walmarts I have been around the country where I had to chase employees around for help. Not this place. Wonderful people . Try the corn in the deli very good.

Worst Walmart ever! Constantly out of stock on popular items! Poor management cannot keep up with the inventory demand for some reason! Pick up order told me they were out of S’more item Graham Crackers and Hersey’s Chocolate bars..are you freaking kidding me!!😡 I now drive to the Woodland’s Walmart because it’s so much better!

Was a perfect Wal-Mart shopping day, have been looking for purple curtains for months and found just the right ones today. The store was clean and the employees were friendly. This is not my usual store to shop at but I definitely will be back. I also found the perfect birthday card which was I went in to purchase finding the curtains was a big bonus!

Its Walmart. Honestly this location can do a little better. Employees at Walmart are not the best stock. Pharmacy is a little rediculus on upcharge for meds. I worked at a vet clinic and I know how much my medication is for the whole bottle. 500% and up upcharge for medication. As busy as they were, I would say they are just greedy.

Well, they didnt have the proper type of medication for my second injection after calling the pharmacy the day before. But the phone expert made the Wi-Fi work after no-one else at the other Walmarts could figure it out. So outstanding!
