We took our Pilot here for a braking issue I couldnt figure out at home, and found out is was ABS Control Unit. The local stealer wanted $2200 for the replacement part alone, not even counting the installation costs. When I explained to our service tech that this might exceed the value of the whole car, he allowed us to find an alternative source for a used part instead of the brand new part which most shops in my experience wont accommodate for. The replacement went smoothly and were back on the road again. Thanks again and well be back.

I called this morning to see if i could get my car an alignment they offered two different times for an appointment then told me they could squeeze me in at 12:00 so i went they provided great customer service told me they would have it done in 45minutes to an hour i showed up and in less than 10minutes they had my car in took them about 40minutes and they were done they let me know about my right side tire not being perfect due to something being bent at the frame and told me about an oil leak i was told that they were under staffed and i really couldnt tell due to my car being done in under the time they quoted i asked them for a price over the phone and it was spot on i dont ever take my vehicle anywhere to be worked on but i chose them today and was very pleased and impressed with the quality of work and customer service the car drove great. I recently needed a local place to take my daily that needed the brakes replaced and an oil change. I was pleasantly surprised i can provide my own parts since i prefer certain brands. I believe it was the owner who i spoke with, an older gentleman, we walked thru what i needed and gave me a fair price. The work was completed rather quickly which i an very happy about. I had to bring it back because i had a squeak noise that i just couldnt diagnose myself, i had dropped it off in the evening and by 10 am the next day he was calling to tell me it was the struts and sway bar end links. I had a pesky lug nut issue and I’d called and went to numerous shops and no one could do it! Finally I found this place and they were able to take the lug not off and change all of them. The owner Chris was very informative and was able to explain to me why I had that issue and how to correct it for the future. I feel absolutely disappointed and cheated after sending my wife to Discount Brakes work service on her 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.. I called in advance to find out how much it would cost to have brake work done on her Jeep Grand Cherokee. I asked if they would put on my aftermarket brake kit because that I was unable to do the job at home. I was trying desperately not to get ripped off by a franchise brake shop and use the kit, I purchased for the Jeep.I wasted my time bothering to determine how much it would cost in advance.How anyone can charge $450 for turning the rotors and putting on brake pads (that I paid for in advance) is beyond my comprehension. The $450 price should have been for Pads and Rotors that I didnt supply. I made the mistake of believing what sounded like a nice & competent person on the phone.You would like if you call about a price and send your wife to have service on a vehicle that you could be confident that when she arrived home you had gotten what you were promised, not ripped off.To give you an example, I called a brake company in North Carolina and had my daughters car serviced with new brake pads and new rotors on one axle for $239 the day before. When discount Brakes called me in the middle of the day and said that pads and rotors would be $850, I should have known I had no possibility of having service done at a fair price..Discount Brakes advertising is misleading and false, so dont get taken like I did. These guys saved me tons of money! They were very professional and the work was exactly what they said it would be! I took my car to a different place and was going to be charged almost 600$ more than what i should have been, when I called Discount Brake for a 2nd opinion she told me to come to them immediately and they would fix me up, and they did! A week late the owner of the business texted me to make sure all was well! I am new to this area and so very thankful to have found them. I will certainly use them in the future for all of my car needs!

Great place to take your car and you know youll be treated right. There are lots of mechanics that want to simply throw parts at an issue but Discount Brake will treat you right. I went in for an oil change and to get the brakes looked at. Manager tells me since I only have 50% pads remaining on front, he would recommend for me to have my brake pads replaced and machine the brake rotors to make my brakes and rotors last longer. What he could have done was simply have the brake rotors turned and then in 6 months because the pads would not be able to withstand the heat I would have to have both pads and rotors done. Great example of integrity over greediness.

Have used their services several times for brakes, suspension, and diagnosis of check engine light. They are incredibly honest and forthcoming. I have always been given excellent explanations of exactly what was needed to fix my problems. They could have easily done more expensive repairs than what was truly needed, but gave me simpler lower cost options that were likely to correct the issues instead of just replacing everything from the start. This is a very professional, open, and honest garage. I will go to them first for anything I need. Theyre not just a brake, suspension, exhaust shop.

1. Very nice people and quality work.2. Was told 1-hour wait time, ended up being two.3. Was charged $230.00 for front brake pad replacement (with good ceramic pads) and *turned rotors*...NOT new.Basically, I feel ripped off.

I had a noise coming from the drive train in the back of my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I told them it might be the u-joints, but to listen to it and locate the problem. The estimate was to be about $225. I told them I was having a surgical procedure when I dropped it off. They call me when I was in recovery, not able to comprehend what they were trying to tell me. It took several days to get it back which happened to be as Im leaving town for two weeks. The bill was $ 450, they had to replace the whole drive shaft because it broke while they replacing the u-joints. After all of this, the noise was still there! When I went back with it, I had to go out in the shop while it was on the lift and locate the noise for them because they couldnt hear it. It was coming from the differential. They wanted more money to even open the differential to find the problem.$450 and still have the problem.

Awesome service! During a brake service, an unfurtunate accident occurred and broke a part making the vehicle undrivable. To fix the broken component and finish the original work could have tripled the cost of the repairs. Chris went out of his way to find a way to get me up and running without charging me any more than the original estimate. This saved me over $500! If this had happened at most shops theyd have likely charged for the additional work and told me thems the breaks. They even threw in break shoes.So nice to find an honest and quality repair service. I will be going back for all my future repair needs!

While on a long road trip on of our trucks brake calipers started to stick. I was given Discount Tires address as they were nearby. Upon entering, I explained to Rita the manager my situation and concern of it being so late on a busy Friday afternoon. She said not to worry and had Stephan one of the many mechanics on it immediately. At 4:30 another customer came in with a problem. Rita told her too, Our weekend doesnt begin until all of our Friday customers are taken care of to the best of our ability!The next Monday morning the Owner Chris calls me with a quality assurance follow-up for the visit to their shop and then calls me the next day (knowing we were from out of state) to make sure that we arrived home safely with no further issues!This is one of the best shops ( automotive or otherwise! ) anywhere in the USA that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. 100% Trusted rarely found! first I called and they were very professional, I asked if I needed a appointment. They said just come in and we can look. My issue was that my 16 year old son drives the truck and I believed the brakes & rotors required replacement. They said theyll call me back in 45 minutes after they diagnose the issue. After inspection, got a call back explaining everything looked good. NOW THIS IS THE THING, they could have easily went with want I said. and charged me a whole brake kit! but they didnt! what they did was call me, keep me updated and not charge me unecessary fees. I insisted to atleast pay for inspection and they said it was fine because nothing was done. its easy to find a business that takes your money but extremely difficult to find a honest business with professionalism instilled.
