Amazing shopping experience in an up-scale environment. Seeing the building is worth a visit. Many products for sale are local sourced and others are the best we have seen in a market. Our experience was that of a locally owned and run sophisticated operation popular with locals. You will not be disappointed.

Seems like a nice local market in Concord, MA. Has a nice selection of wine, beer and other alcoholic beverages. Fresh prepared meals and deli.Went in to buy a few things on my home, apparently they are too snobby to accept EBT Snap benefits. Walked right out without making my purchase.Wont be shopping there, like, ever....

I was so disappointed in this store. It seemed really clean and nice, but it lacked in quite a few foods that I would expect at a higher end store. It seemed very expensive too. Then I watched a mom try and buy a few things and get turned away because they don’t accept EBT cards. I wanted to order to pay for her, but she ran out with tears in her eyes!

An amazing find that for so long I did not know existed even though I drive by here often. The market is fairly large with baked goods, breads, local and interesting selections of drinks from unicorn lemonade to charcoal drinks and wine. They have pastas and prepared foods, toys, gift baskets and more.

I love this small, upscale grocery store with a focus on sustainable, local, and high end products (both import and local). This is a great place to go if you want to try something unique and fancy. The wine and beer selection is great and definitely worth stopping in to check out. I am crazy for pie and I find them to be pretty average here. The fruit filling is great - not too sweet and tastes natural, not artificially flavored. The crust is ok. There are some bites that are great - flaky and crispy - but most bites will be thick and gummy.

Well, Im eating my critical first review. Yes, the place expensive. (Buy your milk at Rite Aid if it bothers you. I do.) But the food is great. Grab-n-go sandwiches and salads are yummy and surprisingly inexpensive. The meats are all first-quality. The seafood, too (they have sea bass!) The veggies (limited selection, but hey, dont most of us eat broccoli and carrots and asparagus and zucchini most of the time?) are fresh and not wilted. The baked goods are very good. And the customer service is fantastic. Its not Market Basket--dont go there looking for a big selection in the cake mix aisle. But its a perfect place to pop in for something nice for dinner tonight (and tomorrow) and get the whole dinner--appetizers, salad fixing, veggies, entree, and a nice cake or tart for dessert.

Im elated to have Concord Market up and running. The selection of food is truly delectable. Sandwiches, soup and salads delicious! Fruits and vegetables are fresh and crisp! The staff is truly upbeat and wonderful to work with. They go out of their way to find unusual ingredients and, as an aside, do heavenly catering as well. How nice to have a local market that is so sophisticated and friendly!

New market just outside of concord center. A smaller version of whole foods. Everything you need, a very nice butcher shop, deli, hot and cold prepared foods. And for those with a sweet tooth a small bakery section. On friday evenings there is a wine and cheese tasting. Other then, for the higher prices$$$$$, its worth a shop. Love the shopping 🛍 bags, great handles, be sure to ask for double bagging.

Best customer service thanks to sous chef Kristan. I drove many miles to buy their garlic butter and needed 4 containers but they only had 1 left and it was a small container. He was so awesome, asked if i could wait about 10 minutes and i said sure. He made up the containers for me. I was buying them for a few friends who loved my garlic bread i made and the only thing special was Concord Markets delicious garlic butter. Thank you so much.

I stopped by the Concord at 5 PM in the afternoon a week or so ago......just to browse, its a beautiful store and well conceived, spotless and very upscale. I didnt really need anything but everything looked very appetizing.....I ended up buying a pint of Scallop Chowder....which I had never heard for.......It was fabulous. I cant wait to go back and find more treats... I highly recommend trying any of their prepared foods !!

What an amazing place! A new gem conveniently located and filled with a wide assortment of delicious and different delicacies. I visited for the first time last night and wow! The place is beautiful. They had a wine tasting going on when I arrived (I heard that they do that every Friday night and have tastings of beers and ciders as well) and I was pulled in by friendly wine steward who shared some great wines that they sell at the Market. The meat and cheese counters were filled with amazing, fresh cuts and their prepared food section was full of great looking food. They also have an expansive selection of breads and pastries as well as isles of groceries. I was concerned they may be pricey but I was wrong. For the unique selection of fresh, diverse selection of food (lots for those with gluten and dairy allergies), this place is great!

Review №32

I went in the other day for a peek at what had been going on, I had not seen inside since its construction, but I have to say Im saddened and disappointed with this place. The modern design style they were going for was too much of a reach and has come across as sterile and confusing. The signs for the isles are tiny and unreadable for myself as well as for my friends. There is no warmth to this place! I bought blueberries but looking at them when I got home they were molded! Most of the staff were nice but the red haired cashier was very short with me when I had to explain to her how to bag my items that I had paid a lot for. I didnt feel welcome and will continue to shop at Verrill and other more inexpensive stores. Sad. I am not one to write a bad review, but with that being said, I felt that reading other reviews would make me feel less obligated to complain.. I do not feel that it is professional to make excuses as to why your prices are so high. With food service, you have one chance to make a good impression. You did not. Will not return.

Went to Concord Market last night and I could not be more happy with the experience. For starters, the aesthetics of the building and decor are gorgeous, the attention to detail is impressive. The staff was warm and friendly and I saw some old friends (Armine & Manny). The product mix is spot on. From grocery to prepared foods, to the in-house baked breads, it was all great. I was happy to see they have a great selection of organic produce and it all looked really well kept and more importantly fresh. I was told this was their soft opening and they are going to grow into more food programs, I cannot wait to see what they come up with. Welcome to the neighborhood Concord Market!

This is our new favorite market and the primary place where we buy our food. Unlike other markets in Concord (both big and small) this one has everything you need for complete meals; no running to “one more place” to get that last item to make a dinner. The wine and beer selection is fantastic. Chris, who double duties as the wine buyer and assistant manager, knows more about wine that I can ever.hope to. The fresh and prepared food, breads, deli, and meat selection is all excellent.

This place rocks ! I love this addition to our little town. Itll be a great place to pick up some fresh meat and fish for dinner and prepared foods also look really fresh. Its really disappointing to see how theyre already moving through their staff so quickly. My sons friend worked there and from what Ive heard its completely dysfunctional. I was really hoping for a more higher quality product as well; I stopped by to try some of the pastries because they had told me that theyre not bad, but they were hard as rocks! I paid almost 4$ for a tiny pastry (I was hungry) to have to throw it out because it was inedible. The woman behind the counter told me everything is fresh and baked that day, boy was she wrong. Wasnt even worth trying to get my money back, just a lesson learned, not the place for me!

Im very disappointed with this market I was looking forward to. As one other reviewer said, its extremely expensive. It has an odd assortment of items, with nothing exciting or even enticing. The green beans looked as if they had been sitting around for a few days, and the baked goods did not look intriguing at all. I live very near the market, but I will continue to make the trip to Verrills for fruits and vegetables (and of course the yummy baked goods and sandwiches) and to Whole Foods for my larger needs. I do not see a need to go back there.

Review №51

Theres not really anything unique enough to justify its outrageous prices. Concord has enough organic, healthy, farm-to-table (read: expensive) places as it is. Id recommend heading to nearby Crosbys for better deals, or Saltbox Kitchen or Woods Hill Table for real, high quality, freshly prepared food. Also, I was getting scowled at by the assistant manager, I think her name is Kristen something... not how you make someone feel welcome in your store. Its a miss.Update: laughably, I just saw that this establishment thought I was a disgruntled former employee on a fake account. Hey Manny Rodriguez- I am a real person who never worked at your establishment. Maybe your store is just overpriced and your employees are unfriendly, and not every negative review is to damage your reputation and hurt your employees, it’s to tell the truth.

Manny, Chris and the team are awesome! The prepared food blows Whole Foods away - they take time to do the little things really well. My 4 yr old could eat the roast chicken everyday of the week, chix cutlets are amazing, the applewood smoked ribs, c’mon...better than anyplace within 20 miles guaranteed. Wine and beer selection is thoughtfully curated with an interesting selection of organic and bio-dynamic wines. Just ask Chris and he will be your wine/beer spirt guide. This is exactly what Concord needed and saves me an extra hr a week so I don’t need to drive to WF.TIP - Friday night BBQ takeout with wine tasting is a must do. One taste and you will be hooked!

I am giving Concord market 5 stars! It is not an easy to do what they are doing and judging from the negative comments, these are all situations that could have been handled at the moment had only the customer stood up for themselves and said spoke. Airing a hard scone on a public forum and potentially damaging a reputation is spineless. I think the manager is showing that he takes responsibility and is ready to give it his all to make amends. (As for the disgruntled employee and her eloquent guy friend, grow up! Had you done a better job you would still be employed and seriously how do you know what those things taste like?)Congratulations CM for giving a fabulous new shopping experience filled interesting local and artisan products to the community. !Bravo!

EDITED RESPONSE BELOW..The soup tastes like someone just scooped dishwater into a pot and called it a day. Disgusting, flavorless and sad.I have not dated any employees of this establishment and my opinions are solely my opinions of this market. I dissaprove of the quality and value of this place not only for myself but for the residents of concord who view this as an unneeded and unsightly business that runs unconciously and disrespectifully by its selfish and un-co-operative owners. The people of this town dererved more than being lied too about a place that was supposedly top notch. Your quality of your business and respect is bad.
