I love Viking House! My boyfriends fathers side is Dutch and he visited The Netherlands when he was younger. The Viking House carries the dutch chocolate sprinkles he remembers having when he was younger and visited The Netherlands. I try to get him some anytime Im there! I also love the Wrendale design line they carry! So cute. The customer service is always great. Theyre always very nice and willing to help with anything you may need. Love this store!
This shop has the most lovely and unique items. I just played with Maileg for two pleasure filled hours with my granddaughter. The clothing, the gifts, the food, the dishware, all beautiful.
Really nice shop with a great selection of european products. The customer service is really great. I stopped to purchase some tea and waffles and the cashier gave me extra samples of a different flavor to take home. I didnt even ask for them, she just kindly offered. I will definitely be shopping here again soon.
Wonderful. Very different clothes and staff is so helpful.
Great store in downtown Concord. They carry lebkuchen!!
I adore this store. Staff is awesome and products are great.
Beautiful things and warm friendly service 😊
An adorable little shop with many unique handmade gifts. the atmosphere is laid back and sweet. the only downfall is that the prices are a bit high and there is almost no customer service. the staff is still very friendly when spoken too. definitely worth a visit
Very interesting collection of European items including foods from europe. many different types of house wares from European countries. crafts and jewelry.
The viking house was a really cool fun gift shop!! Browsed and purchased during midnight merriment!! Lots of shoppers, and lots of buyers. A very interesting take!
Very nice little shop where you can find many European items and food. They also sell Vera Bradley bags. They will even at times offer refreshments while you shop.If there is a particular item you are looking for you can put it on their list to look for/get
Came through on a whim fascinating store with lots of cool things from all over the place. But out if the corner of my eyes, I spotted it..... The fabled elixer of Scotland. Could it be? No... It couldent. Four packs of IRN BRU. Id seen it a billion times on the internet, and couldent pass it up, I grabbed a four pack and took it home. Down to my last can, might have to take a trip back! Lovely store.
Great shop for all things Scandinavian - and more!!
Great selection of European and American goods. Love the jewelry made in Ireland and the candies from all over European countries and traditions.
Friendly staff, great variety of beautiful wares! Something for everyone!
Adorable Scandinavian gifts & treats all in a convenient location
Loved this place. Could have spent the whole day here! (And a fortune)
Excellent selection of goods, and lovely staff members!
I love that they carry Vera Bradley items and foods from my mother land. Especially the peppacauker cookies
Cool little shop with a great section of imported foods. A bit pricey though
Once upon a time, VH sold pure European wares and was managed by customer-centric staff. This is no longer true. VH sold me a defective jacket. Three months into wearing it the seams fell apart, which I had to get repaired on my own. Rather than fixing the problem, VH stonewalled me and blamed me for wear and tear. Now I am out of $380.00 from a team who would rather match wits with their customers. Further, only a portion of their product comes from Europe. Yes, VH carries European licensed brands, but I noticed many items that were manufactured in Asia. Vera Bradely bags are American, and so are the place mats that came from Kentucky. To their credit, they sell German chocolates, but so does Hannaford Brothers and Market Basket that are shipped in weekly.
Great place to find that special gift and wonderful, warm, and informative staff.
Me being Norwegian this store is great, I can get a lot of homey things here, like Brunost, ekte Geitost, Solo and Swedish Kaviar. Gløgg and many other things - Norwegian sweaters also.I have been on the Nøkkelost list for a year now, it is not frequent. Those who say it is expensive here have apparently not been to the origin countries, some of the items cost the same here, which is amazing with the freight cost. For comparison, consider Scandinavian prices, and especially Norway, in the NFL arena category - 2-3 times more than normal. The main reason for only 4 stars is that recently they appear to be phasing out Scandinavian chocolates, one of the main reasons I come by often.Everyone needs to keep asking them for Melkesjokolade and Firkløver so that they bring it back.Edit: got the note about Freia Chocolates - up to 5 now :)
Very nice. Enjoyable and reasonably priced.
Nice products and nice people, but they’re very very chatty and do not let you shop. Don’t go in if you’re on a time limit.
Really fun store with fazer chocolate!
Love it!! Great customer service!
Super friendly staff, there is always coffee ready for customers to enjoy
Thanks to Sue and Mariah from the Viking House for an amazing customer service experience yesterday. After realizing Capitol Craftsman & Romance Jewelers was closed for the day, I went into their store yesterday to buy a graduation gift for my two amazing MFT interns. I told Mariah about a specific thing I had been hoping to buy at Capitol Craftsman (hoping she could help me get something similar at Viking House. She asked Sue, who happens to be the owner of both stores (who knew?) if she could help me out. Sue went across the street and brought me back several items to choose from. She and Mariah wrapped the two things I chose, and I was out the door, all within twenty minutes. I cannot thank them enough.
Wonderful shop with great clothing and Scandinavian gifts and food.
Brings back wonderful childhood memories.
Quaint shop with a variety of higher quality items
Boring as all heck and over-priced.
Good little place to go
Interesting offerings!
Love this place!!
