Reminds me of a little ice cream shop in my hometown. I loved going there as a child and now my children love coming here. They are currently the only place i can find one of my favorite ice cream flavors also. Their menu is amazing and they offer such a variety of cold treat options that there is something for everyone. You can not go wrong here.

Huge selection of everything icecream and frozen yogurt. What a great find for old fashioned floats or icecream in numerous combinations. 😋 Excellent taste and consistency. The fruit used was fresh and my son loved the Brownie Sunday. They were a bit slow at the counter but it was worth the wait. Friendly service. If your not patient then I suggest going when they open. Its a hot spot because its good. Limited seating outside or take to go. We parked a block away and enjoyed ours in the car. 👍

So, this evening we went to get some ice cream. We waited in a long line (it was prime ice cream time, yall), ordered an apple pie sundae, and we waited for our order. Much to my dismay, after waiting a bit for our order (again, given the line it was expected), I was told they were out of apples. I was bummed, and wasnt sure what to get instead, so I asked them the surprise me. Well, the amazing woman that made my sundae was running around like a crazy person, and made me the most amazing cinnamon roll sundae! This woman went above and beyond for me, and made it right. I should have gotten her name, but I didnt. If she sees this, THANK YOU! That sundae meant the world to me because of the care you put into making it! I highly recommend this place. They actually care about service.

Been going to this place since I was a kid! My son is 11 years of age and I took him for the first time when he was just 1 yr old and every single year after just once a year just as long as we went!! YALL ARE THE BEST AROUND CONCORD!!! STOP RUNNING OUT OF MY BABY GIRL BANANA FLAVOR ICE CREAM AND WE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER!! I only eat banana splits no whip with walnuts lol

This is a small family owed ice cream shop. So much time, love, stress, and work goes into this place daily. Everything is made to order, and there’s so many things to choose from with new things added all the time. Smoothies, milkshakes, and all fruit related items are actual fruit not flavored syrup. Brownies, cake and cinnamon rolls are all freshly baked daily. I absolutely love this place.

Its too sweet everything i have had is more of a sugar cup. Doesnt feel authentic, is a heavy milk sugar flavor not the flavor it says. Is sad i justo love coming here but the last one did it for me. I really appreciate good ice cream. But is just not the same.

Great place to walk to, they have doggy sundaes for our 3 Goldens and today we had a VERY YUMMY apple pie sundae. So good! Prices were extremely reasonable with tip we spent $9.00 and the young ladies working there were so friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Very cute place with such a variety of frozen desserts! We love the old style building, and that it is a walk up! We have had the shakes, the dilly bar and root beer float. It was a very unique experience and I especially liked how the dilly bar was made, check it out! P.S. Our favorite is the Chocolate shake Jkc

I live within walking distance of this place. During the summer there is always a line all the way out to the road, but its for a good reason. This is the best ice cream place in the Concord / Kannapolis area. Their soft serve is so good sometimes I like to just get a cup of soft serve chocolate ice cream because theres nothing better than just simple tasty soft serve when its done right. They have every type of ice cream concoction you could think up! I would definitely recommend this place. Ive sent many family and friends there and every person Ive sent there to try it has loved it and became a returning customer...

Great ice cream. They use peanut butter powder, not real peanut butter, yuck. Need to get better straws, also should have spoons, whats up with that?

It used to be 1 of the best places around to get 🍦🍨 but...it was terrible this time! Nasty area, ice-cream was too soft to even stay in/on the cone. Other options? Take them!

My first time trying this place and I had a bad experience. I ordered a small strawberry ice cream cone and it took them 30 mins to have it ready later on they realize they gave another customer my order but then some how blamed it on me that my order was messed up. The staff handle the situation very unprofessional I will never visit this location again

Im from a small town in Michigan. There were several ice cream places like this. When I moved to Charlotte I was so disappointed to only find chains and super pricey creameries. When I moved to Concord, S & I popped up in my Google search and I jumped for joy! They have soft serve hand dip, sundaes, glaciers and so much more! Exactly what I was looking for! Weve been back several times!

Many flavors. Many sizes. The small is huge so getting a large, eats 2 or 3. I got the Tornado Chocolate Ice Cream option with Kit Kat topping and it was perfect. They have ice cream and yogurt styles to choose. They have Milk Shakes and Flavored shaved ice. The establishment from the outside may be discouraging but dont be fooled. The service and staff is appropriate. Walk up ordering. Outside seating area. Small hippie horse for kids.

Great little ice cream shop! They need to open a 2nd window, take orders in one window and hand out the ice cream from the other window.

I have been coming for years...I get the same thing every time, small twist. Today I decided to get a medium and got the most patheticly small medium Ive gotten smalls cones bigger than the medium cone I got today. My son ordered 2 scoops and got near 4. And when I said something they told me there was no set size for the twists. Unfortunately I will not be coming here anymore.

This place has been open for years. I have never been disappointed. Today they had one person working and she was courtious and fast.

Let me say that I love the ice cream and staff but today it gets 3 stars. It is right Fter school hours, about 3:30 and the line is long. It is hot and only One person working!Come now

I waited in line was in line before 9pm there was a line to start with and when I get up to the window the lady says we are closed. I was line paitently waiting for ice-cream and then I get up to the window to be told they couldnt serve me cause it was time to close. I am sorry that is horrible service I was only one left in line the very last person. I will not be back. I have worked in customer service for restaurant and retail and that is horrible service.

Ice cream is good. Lots of options. Staff could be nicer. Order took a long time to be done and it wasnt complicated. Lot is dirty and could use some tlc.

The lady who took our order was extremely rude. “What else” dry, not friendly at all. No manners whatsoever. Then gave us our total when we weren’t even done ordering. We wanted shaved ice and all she responded was “can’t do shaved ice.” Again, dry, short, rude. No explanation, no apology, nothing.If you hate your job, get a new one. I’ve come here for years and the girls are always so nice and kind. But not this one. She wasn’t wearing a name tag but her hair was dark and in a low bun & we ordered around 6:30 Sunday night.

Overrated. Lousy. Cheapskates. Money-hungry.At this point, I only go because of nostalgia. They’ll find any which way to drain locals of their money. From charging extra for a cup on the side to charging extra for pup cups that competitors would give for free, the jig is up for S&I. The quality of the work is lousy. And not to mention the attitude of workers that is seemingly almost always negative.

This location has a large selection of ice cream and shave ice flavors need to visit this place will not regret it.

I dont know if the employees had a bad day when I went with my brother and his family after a little league baseball game, but they were less than friendly and short with answers to simple questions. I paid over $3 for what they call a baby size cup of soft serve ice cream and another $3 for a baby size cup of soda slushy. It was all overpriced and with the bad service it made it a crappy end to what was a great game and night. I was so embarrassed because my brother ended up getting nothing because of the attitude of the servers. Thank you S&I Ice Cream for ruining a family moment.

Amazing ice creams! The flavors and the sizes are amazing! When you ask for a big/large, they really deliver. I recommend the strawberry cheesecake flavor, but all the flavors are awesome! They have so many types and flavors to choose from!

The “manager” was very very rude . I asked if I could get another piece of brownie for my sundae because it was so hard and she told me no. I asked if there’s anything she could do to help me and she told me no that I could call the owner the next day. No customer service what so ever ! You don’t do business like that and I know for a fact the owner not running no business like that !

Although the ice cream I wanted was not available due to it being frozen solid, they have great options and better priced than any Dairy Queen I know of. Good ice cream, perfect for date night sweet.

Also waited 25 minutes for a smoothie that the girl at the window got confirmation that she COULD MAKE, then tells me to get back in line for refund instead of just giving me a cup of ice cream to replace the smoothie I waited that long for. Slammed the screen in my face before I could even answer. I left, keep the money. Use it to hire better staff(: p.s ive went here since I was a baby and I’ll probably not be going back. I don’t see how someone can be so rude to your customers when they’re making tips on top of hourly pay.

Had never heard of the place, but did a search and found it. Ice cream was very smooth and tasty. Had the hot fudge sundae and it was very good.

I stopped for a quick afternoon treat... And I was delighted by a tasty, yet light Tornado! I know that I a greedy, especially when it comes to the sweets... So I modestly choose a small. Rightfully, their small was more like a good sized medium!😉

Pretty disappointing to pay $6 for a brownie sundae, get home and discover... There is zero brownie in the brownie sundae.

Every time I arrive within 10 or 15 minutes of closing they’ve already close down or stop taking orders. This is having on several days. While I have a closing time if you’re not going to serve customers during those hours?

Every - every - time Ive gone there, the workers look like they hate their job, hate me - and then stare right at the tip jar as they are handing off my ice cream. Cabarrus Creamery cannot open back up soon enough.

Yummy soft serve and fun flavors!!

We usually love this place however today received the worst customer service. They gave us the wrong ice cream cone when it was ordered correctly. We asked that they fix their mistake. The young girl blamed the wrong order on me then proceeded to tell me she would have to charge me for a new ice cream cone if thats what i wanted. Clearly it was a mis communication that they could have easily fixed. Not a happy customer today.
