Elizabeth Brannigan was the stylist that helped us find the perfect prom dress! I was pleasantly surprised and how easy the day went. There was a GREAT selection. I expected to spend several days going to different shops. As it turned out, we had the perfect dress almost immediately. Many of the dresses are elegant and timeless. It was more of an issue deciding which one she liked the best. The only thing we had to do was get the dress shortened to the right length. Elizabeth gave us a list of local seamstresses and the process was seamless. We will be back for any future needs.

She was so friendly and super helpful when picking out amazing dresses according to the style I wanted. She truly went above and beyond! This store has a great variety of dresses and also provides a more private-feeling experience and I never felt rushed. Absolutely recommend!

A Day to Remember was the first and only place I stopped by when I was looking for my bridal gown. The store has a great variety of dresses and is a beautiful place. Brandi was the sweetest, most helpful person one could ask for - she listened to my preferences but had an amazing intuition of her own. I’ve been engaged for four years now, and life has never made time for us to plan our wedding let alone dress shop. I chose ADTR because of their unique styles I saw online, and the second I walked in the door I knew I would love it. I was skeptical about the experience because I’m on the larger side and after two kids I wasn’t sure what to expect. Elizabeth listened to what I did and did not want, she brought me choices I wouldn’t have picked right off the bat and she knew that they would look amazing on me. She was extremely pleasant and patient and made me feel comfortable when I was nervous about being so vulnerable with trying on wedding dresses. I ended up finding the one after about 5 different dresses, and even decided on a veil after some convincing. We celebrated after and my purchasing experience was lovely as well. The ladies measured me and recommended a size that would be best for alterations and made me feel comfortable about the whole experience. This place was amazing and I’m so glad that I came today. I love this boutique!After an okay experience at a different place, we came here to try on more dresses. Their selection matched my princess-y, timeless style perfectly, while still having a good variety. We found the perfect dress here, but wanted a little extra fabric to make it more modest. Within a week of ordering the dress and extra material for my mom to alter, the owner called us and let us know that the dress I fell in love with came in a more modest option, and changed the order for us! Excellent customer service! I highly recommend this shop. Please keep this small business in mind, especially during this pandemic.

I went wedding dress shopping here a few months back. They have a lot of dresses to pick from and quiet honestly I was overwhelmed. I didnt have an appointment set up, but Elizabeth was kind enough to work with me pulling out dresses that fit what I was looking for. I walked out with my wedding dress that day! Overall I was very happy with this place.

My daughter and close friends drove there given the prom dresses looked amazing but were met with extremely rude customer service from the moment they entered the store. Without making a list I will simply say do not waste your time. The lack of customer service and rude behavior from the store associates will sadly ruin any chance of a nice experience.

I loved my experience! My sister went for her dress, and after that, I knew I had to go when I got engaged! I wish I could remember my consultants name, but Im terrible at that! She was so so kind, patient, and understanding! She let me try on as many as I wanted, seemed to know exactly what dresses to pull for me even though I gave her very little explanation of what I wanted. Only tried on 8 and we all knew it was the one! She was also very honest, which was really important to me, as I like opinions and if one wasnt flattering or didnt have the feel I wanted, she told me! Also honest about how long it would take to receive and alter. I was still on the fence about whether we were having a full wedding or eloping, but I wanted a dress either way. My consultant was so understanding, kept it a secret out of respect for me, and knew exactly what to say to comfort me. She made me feel so confident in my choice. My dress was a dream come true, and it made my husband cry as I walked down the aisle. As a bonus, somehow it came in 2 weeks earlier that we thought! Thank you so much. 5 star experience for customer service, honesty, dress selection, and dress/designer knowledge.

We were graciously accommodated when we came in to the store today as a walk-in, despite that being unusual for the store, and the dresses were pretty, but that is about all that can be said. Customer service was left wanting. I cannot remember if or when the stylist even gave their name. I have always looked forward to when I would have a reason to be able to browse the store due to their beautiful displays, but was left disappointed. Dresses were RIDICULOUSLY small; Im usually a size 4 but nearly fit into a size 14, other bridesmaids couldnt even fit into the dresses. We were CONSISTENTLY reminded of which dresses were budget friendly in a very judgmental manner. When a dress was shown to us, if we didnt like it, we received a look of annoyance and a clipped ok as if we were supposed to like EVERY dress she pulled out or that we were being picky (we were there maybe an hour and tried on 10 different dresses). Then, we found a dress all the bridesmaids loved and were told after the fact that it actually WASNT available in the chosen color despite being told it was. We wouldnt have even tried it if it was not going to be available in that color. I would have rather we were turned away for not having an appointment and left mildly disappointed than to have to deal with the frustration and embarrassment of interacting with the unfriendly staff. Would not recommend going here.

Upon entering this bridal shops and reading the reviews I was a little skeptical but I am new to the area and wanted to give it a try. Let’s just say, “A day to remember...” more like “A day to forget...”If you want the worst bridal gown experience, to be constantly judge on your body type, pushed into styles you do not like and your guests to feel completely uncomfortable and not valued than this is the place for you. To say the customer service was terrible is an understatement. It was worse than terrible.Within the first 5 minutes of my appointment the sales associate commented on my body type and actually told me and I was too large for one of the dresses I fell in love with on the rack. She continued to judge my body type throughout each dress that I put on.I went in with a style I had in mind and I was brought the complete opposite of what I was looking for. She did not listen to a word I said and was trying to force a style on me that I told her numerous times I did not want. She continued to tell me that what I wanted would not complement my body. And not to stoop to her level but she had no business giving me fashion advice based on her unprofessional outfit.The only reason I gave this place 1 star is being 0 wasn’t an option. She was the most unprofessional sales associate I have encountered and I am honestly surprised how she continues to stay open. Do not waste your time at this establishment unless you want a good laugh at how poorly it is run.

My niece and I had a wonderful experience here. There is quite a selection of beautiful dresses in the store to choose from, and the consultants were very helpful. My niece found her dress here and absolutely loved it. The dress arrived in time for the alterations, which were done perfectly. We found the prices to be reasonable and would recommend shopping in this store.

Jill was the consultant I had and she was fabulous! She has gone above and beyond for everything! I got my wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen tuxes there and the service was wonderful! Jill went way beyond my expectations and has been awesome! I would definitely recommend this place! From the moment I got there, everything was calm and organized and the dresses were beautiful. Some other bridal shops get so crowded and overwhelming, but Uniquely Couture was nothing like that! I absolutely love it there!

I went to this shop with my daughter to look for a prom dress. Having just moved to the area, I wanted to try a local shop. So glad I did! The young ladies were very attentive and understanding of my daughters need to take her time to find the perfect dress! I will definitely be recommending this shop, and will be returning when I start looking for my wedding dress!

Wonderful Experience! I had no idea what I was in for but I was so pleasantly surprised. This small shop is packed with beautiful and unique dresses from a variety of designers. I walked in for my appointment and was told to look around and pick whatever I was interested in and once I had about 6 dresses I started trying them on. Best part- every consultant in the store was so supportive and present during my coming out. I even had consultants finding fun dresses for me to try on in between showings. It was clear that the consultants were genuinely excited for me which was really special. Everybody was so friendly, open and honest. And honest in the best way- they were not pushy or commenting unnecessarily. I never felt like anybodys opinions were being forced upon me. It was evident this shop employs professional, friendly and knowledgeable ladies. I had so much fun and felt so supportive that I was beaming for the rest of the day and still now. I almost said yes then and there (and it was my first time dress shopping) but didnt because I wanted my out of state parents to see before I finalized. Plan on going back very soon. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience here. I had a scheduled appointment for first thing in the morning, staff was very disorganized and took some time to greet me. I was informed after approximately 5 minutes of waiting that I would be helped in a few minutes as my bridal consultant was finishing with a client... I thought okay, fine, no big deal. I took a seat and was not spoken to again. No one checked on me or offered to have me look around. After a half hour of waiting I got up and walked out. This was my first experience and gosh, I can’t imagine how much longer I’d have waited if I stayed; talk about rude, seems pointless to schedule appointments here. I felt completely ignored and I’m pretty sure that’s not the feeling you’re supposed to get at a bridal shop...it was awful, so I went to Modern Bride and that was awesome! Great customer service and a very large selection of gowns!

I brought my best friend, her sister, and their daughters to shop for prom dresses. We were surprised at the selection of beautiful prom dresses available, great prices and wonderful service from the staff. Both girls found their prom dress and the visit was worth it. Well be back next year to shop for senior prom!!

As the mother of the bride I more so needed to find a fantastic dress given that I’d be walking my daughter down the aisle. I had a specific style in mind and my daughter and I spent countless hours searching for the perfect gown. The five previous shops I had been to only presented me with styles that were too “matronly” or offered no selection at all. Finally, I happened upon Uniquely Couture Bridal in Bedford, NH. Helen spent a lot of time with me, first becoming familiar with my style, my likes and dislikes; my overall personality. She was honest with her opinions, respected mine, and did not try to push or sell anything. Her gentle, patient nature guided me a bit past my comfort zone, proving that I could actually pull of some styles I thought, at my age, were out of my reach. Helen is no doubt a confidence booster and, ultimately, helped me choose the perfect gown that I feel comfortable and pretty in. The bonus is, I feel like I’ve made a new friend. I highly recommend Uniquely Couture Bridal.

I had the great pleasure of working with Amanda and Serena. As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly and cheerfully. I had already looked at and tried on a bunch of dresses the previous day for the first time at a different dress place. A day to remember was far better from the start. Amanda took the time to get to know me and also my style. She gave feedback (which is very needed in this process) and was so happy to do it! The first couple of dresses I started with were way better than my top picks at the other place and I knew I would be getting a dress from here. Miss Serena and miss Amanda had been talking while I was trying one on and Serena had remembered a dress that was down in their basement. She brought it up and on the hanger I was not sure about it. It was beautiful but I needed to see it on. Also I should mention that in this whole process of planning my wedding I had not been enjoying any part of it thus far and didn’t even think I would get my “the one” moment. I put on the dress and...WOW!!!!! It was everything I ever dreamed of and more! I didn’t even know what I loved in a dress until I put it on. I teared up! I needed to come back with my mother the next day to make sure I wasn’t going crazy. The anticipation killed my sister, Amanda, and myself as I tried on the first two out of three dresses I was showing her. Finally, it was time to put on “the one”. Amanda suggested I put on a veil to really seal the deal. I started tearing up again. As soon as I had my mother open her eyes the whole room went misty. I had found the one and finally, for the first time, began to get excited for my actual wedding!!! I can’t thank these girls enough. They truly made that part of my wedding experience magical and fun. Sorry I wrote a novel, I just couldn’t keep the story to myself. Thank you Amanda!!! I am so glad to have met you! I got my dress there back in November and would encourage anyone to go there. I was so nervous because of my shape. The girl I worked with was very positive and encouraging and I fell in love with my second dress. The customer service was great!

Went to look at gowns with a friend for a wedding. Wasnt happy with the customer service the bridal party got. Didnt feel welcomed. We visited November 23rd in the morning. I believe it was the owner who worked with the bride.

Its okay. Dont expect a big collection, or a wide assortment of dresses. They pretty much only stick to the current fashions.

Wonderful! I highly recommend this place. They were so busy when we went in but still so smiling and friendly. I had a big group with me and they were very accomodating with them. Helen was at the front desk and she described which sections of the dresses were which and she had such a great sense of humour! The woman with the red hair (sorry I didnt catch her name) chatted to me while we were waiting and was very kind. My consultant Sirena was great! She did not pressure me into buying anything and just let me keep trying on dress after dress, asked a lot of good questions, and continued to be understanding throughout the whole appointment. The store let my entourage go through the dresses and pick some out which was great (a lot of other stores wont let you do that!) And they had such a good selection of very gorgeous dresses!

They double booked our wedding party with another. That party got to sit on the main couch while my party sat on the side chairs, the other party kept commenting about the way I looked in dresses.It’s a lovely place but really bad business practices to double book parties. Sadly, it was also the only chance I had to try on dresses with my mom and it was tainted by being with others.It’s an experience i will never get back. Obviously wouldn’t recommend

Not a fan of this shop. Yes there was a good variety and the dresses were beautiful, but the person we were supposed to work with was extremely unfriendly, rude and gave a very judgemental vibe. A lady that was new to the store was so much nicer and helpful even though shedidnt have the knowledge yet. Then when we did find a dress that we did like an inquired about ordering without a second to think said nope it will not come in on time even though we were still 4 months out from our event. Customer service is kind of important in this field so I am happy to say we took our business elsewhere. I would never shop there or recommend this shop again.

I went in, knowing you need an appointment to try on dresses but you can look around during a walk in, as I had a specific question. After standing awkwardly and being ignored by several people I browsed for a while and went back up to the counter where I was ignored again, literally had backs turned to me while I stood there. Id give zero stars if I could.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful A Day to Remember was with all of the hassle I had gone through with another vendor AFTER purchasing my dress from them! I know this review is long, but you really must read the whole way through to get a feel for how wonderful this small business is.  It truly shows that they love what they do and put the customer first!  I purchased my wedding dress at A Day to Remember and managed to find the dress of my dreams for so cheap!  It was a $1,600 dress and I only paid $850 for it!  The place was wonderful, but they don’t have in house alterations, so I decided to take my dress somewhere closer to home.  When I got it back from alterations I was way overcharged for a horrendous job! I left crying because the woman messed the dress up so bad.  It was not how I had wanted it and she made it very uncomfortable.  She also created, and LEFT holes in the dress and left it missing a button.  I was absolutely mortified, but I had already spent so much money I didn’t want to pay to take it somewhere else.  So, my mom decided she would try her best at altering it.  Although it wasn’t perfect and was done on very quick notice, my mom got it tolerable.  I then called A Day to remember to see if they could last minute steam it, as this is a complimentary service that they offer.  You are supposed to give 48 hours notice, but due to the last minute salvaging of my dress, I was only able to give them 24 hours.  They still went out of their way to accommodate me.  When I dropped it off, I told them the story of the horrid alterations.  Later that day, I received a call from Jill, the girl I purchased the dress from, asking me if the woman that had messed up the alterations had also done the bustle.  I said yes and that I wasn’t happy with it, but neither my mother nor I knew how to fix it.  She said that the owner of A Day to Remember is a custom dress maker and that she would like to redo my bustle for me FREE OF CHARGE!  I was so incredibly happy.  Not only was this so much extra work, it was 24 hours before I needed to leave for my wedding and she was bending over backwards for me.  Later that night, I received another phone call from the owner herself this time.  She said that she had gotten into the dress and saw the horrible alterations, holes, and missing beads that the previous woman had left.  She wanted to completely redo the dress for me – again FREE OF CHARGE.  She must have worked for 24 hours straight on redoing my entire wedding gown.  I cannot even begin to explain to you how sincere they were! And they would not take a penny of my money.  They were just concerned that I was happy with my dress and felt beautiful on my wedding day.  She just kept saying that there is no way she would let a bride walk down the aisle in a dress that she wasn’t 100% happy with.  When I picked up my dress I was absolutely ecstatic about it!  It looked like an entirely new dress and I was so incredibly happy with the entire outcome.  I cannot even provide words to say how grateful I am for what they did.  This store will literally do anything and everything within their power to make sure that your special day is just as you have always dreamed.  They sure did for me! I would recommend to anyone!

Initially, we were very impressed with Uniquely Couture Bridal. They found us a dress that works on three very different body types, and were able to guarantee wed have it by the wedding date which was only 7 weeks away. We paid for super rush and then were not notified when the dresses were in. The company claims they couldnt read the handwriting of the brides email. Yet, the brides phone number was also listed. Common sense would say that if youre not sure of the spelling, call the bride and double check. This would have solved the problem entirely. Instead, they guessed at spelling, TWICE, and sent 2 emails to the wrong person. Then, waited 6 more days before calling the bride after not hearing a response from the email. Given that we were not notified in a timely manor we asked for a refund of our super rush ($50 each for 3 dresses, $150 total) we were told this couldnt be done. The bride in this party is the first of us to get married, and she has 4 bridesmaids. This company has now lost out on the opportunity to sell her a wedding dress, and tuxs, and to do 4 different parties when we get married. In short, for the cost of refunding $150, this company will lose out on the opportunity for thousands. We have also made multiple requests to take down a picture of us from their Instagram page, and it it is still there. We DO NOT want to promote this business.

The Red head has a poor attitude and unprofessional. When they messed up the color of one of my bridesmaids dress she laughed when I called and said the Company they ordered from must have messed it up. They lied about when the replacement dress would be in. When I continued to call concerned she hung up on me. There was another woman blonde, heavyset, who works there part time, she is awesome, if not for her I would have never ordered their dresses there.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Even while scheduling our appointment over the phone, the store associate was incredibly rude. Then when we arrived, my mother was trying to show the store associate dresses she was interested in, and the associate replied with a disgusted look on her face why wouldnt you have saved them in your favorites? She seemed aggravated that it was taking my mother time to find pictures she liked. She seemed irritated and disinterested in our needs the entire time, and when she continued to be rude to my mother we asked if we could start looking at dresses and, we know the associates know where to find what dresses, but since she wasnt a help we wanted to at least start looking, but she wouldnt allow us to, because she knows more about the styles than we do. I am extremely disappointed. I wouldnt suggest this store to anyone. I rate this store

I bought my wedding dress here many, many years ago.

I had previously found a dress at another store and was disappointed when I came in and I learned I couldnt return it. When I went to A Day to Remember in NH, I was overwhelmed by how beautiful the dresses were compared to other stores I had been in. These dresses are not ordinary plain jane dresses, they are stunning and extremely reasonable. I was looking for a Casablanca and couldnt find it in any store in Maine and when I called they held the two dresses for me in their system while I drove 2 hours to come see them. When I got there, I was 30min late due to getting lost BUT they were so patient with me. The lady I worked with spent 1.5 hours with me as I tried dresses on and took them off and put them on again. She really made me feel like a bride. She wasnt pushy. She didnt force me to buy or do anything. I ended up getting my dress custom ordered because of my sizing. She sized me and had someone double check her numbers before ordering the dress to verify her numbers were correct. I thought that was great customer service. I had such a great experience. They knew exactly what I wanted and took the time to care to my needs. The store is definitely busy and they will give you the space you need but they are very helpful. I got a huge hug as I left the store. It was a great experience for my all the ladies I brought with me.Ps. Even after purchasing my dress, Kat, continued to help my now Husband and I find a tie to match my dress for him and get a veil to match my dress when the one I was going to use didnt work. She was so helpful!

The prom dress quality is not worth the price at all. It looks like costume jewelry sewn onto Savers dresses. They couldnt even use good quality plastic jewels. The customer service was the worst part of the experience. My friends and I wanted to go there and try on dresses but we werent finding anything we liked or anything that was actually worth the price they were selling it for. In my group there were 4 girls and each of us only tried on about 5 dresses. We understood that the employee in the prom section was working alone that day and we were curtious of that but the girl helping us treated us like we were lower than her and shouldnt have even been in the store. She very obviously rolled eyes at us everytime we said we didnt like a dress and she had to help us out of them per store policy. We could see because everytime she did it she didnt realize she was doing it into a mirror and from where we were could see her do it everytime. That was very upsetting and we may not have been paying customers because of the outrageous prices and poor quality but we were still potential customers in her store and she had no right to treat us like ignorant teenagers. So the lesson we learned from going there is, dont go to browse unless youre actually willing to spend $300+ on child costumes to get decent customer service because if you dont spend the money youre not worth their time. My group and I ended up finding better quality dresses at another shop for a fraction of the cost and free good quality customer service too! I would much rather shop at any other store then ever go to Uniquely Couture Bridal again.

I had my appointment at 10 am when they opened, they opened the door right up for me so I would have to stand in the cold due to the fact I got there a few minutes early. I went in and everybody was so nice, excited and helpful. I worked with Katt in the dressing room and picking out dresses. She was amazing!!! I had 3 girls with me and they were throwing dresses at her left and right for me to try on and she never skipped a beat.While trying the dresses on she never had her attention anywhere but me and the ladys I brought with me. She gave me good advise, picked other dresses she thought would look and fit my body great, she had a great ide what would of not looked good due to my hight. I honestly could not of asked for a better experience! To put into works how great/fun time I had with the employees is not even possible to put into words! I would completely recommend this place!

I had a wonderful experience at ADTR. I worked with Andrea to find my wedding dress and with Katt to choose my veil. What I especially loved about both experiences was that not only were Andrea and Katt attentive and knowledgeable, but also that they gave me breathing room and chat time to confer with my family on such an important decision. They never hovered! Andrea was very helpful in shaking me up and broadening the styles I tried. After working with her, I felt that no stone was unturned. And Katt knew just how to place the headpieces (Im hopeless when it comes to those things), so that the pieces best flattered my face and overall look.If possible, I recommend visiting ADTR during a weekday evening. Its a little busy and cramped on Saturdays

Its a shame they dont have more, recent reviews!I met this boutique at a bridal show in Nashua. At first I was worried I wouldnt find something I could afford, but I did! First, I went, pre-shopping, with my girl friend. Katt (Im a Cat too! It was fate!) helped me try on several styles and kept them on file for me. Since my MIL is from out of state, I scheduled a special appointment for Black Friday, because shed be in town for the holidays. The boutique opened an hour early for us. I was a half hour late, I got pulled over (no ticket!) and got lost, but Katt was ever so patient with me. We let the mothers pick through the racks, and after I tried on everything they wanted to see, Katt laced me up into THE dress.She was absolutely exceptional at identifying my likes, dislikes and pulling dresses based on those things. There was no pressure, ever, to buy.I bought my dress straight off the floor. Katt had great suggestions for bustling the small train, where alterations should be made if I needed them, accessories, shoes and the veil. She made me feel like she was my friend educating me, not a consultant selling me.The women here are very kind, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond for their brides. I HIGHLY recommend you at least visit this place. You will be so impressed with their service. No other boutique will shine quite like them :)Thank you again, Katt. I cant wait to wear my dress!!!
