Wow, this place is so great! Michelle and Carlos make a great team and they really care about their work and their customers. I had alternator issues and they took care of it when no one else would. They made sure the car drove well before they returned it, and they also vacuumed it. I thought that was very kind. :) They also do oil changes. :)Would definitely recommend.

Our beloved 25-year-old Nissan Maxima Goldie had an intermittent problem my fabulous regular mechanics could not diagnose. They sent me to Auto Electric and Fuel, because “that’s where we send the really difficult cases.” Absolutely right — the problem turned out to involve the carburetor, the electrical system, and the vacuum tubes coming together at odd (and inconvenient) times. Carlos spent two weeks tracking that down, a nice combination of science, engineering, and detective work. He and Michelle kept me informed very step of the way. And then they fixed it! Worth every penny to deal with such professionals. (They even cleaned Goldie …)

We got A+++ service from Auto Electric and Fuel. My check engine light was on in my Expedition. We changed out the O2 sensor and that cleared the light temporarily, but it came back on and now came up with a code that could mean any one or more of 6 things could be wrong with it. Now it was time for the professionals. I was referred to this company by another mechanic. I was so grateful for Michelles sweet voice and the fact that she told me to bring the car down and they would get it taken care of. They were able to diagnose the car pretty quickly and ordered the parts and I was able to pick up the car the next day. I needed to get it smogged and Michelle took it and had it done for me. If this wasnt enough she vacuumed out my car and wiped the interior down. My husband picked up the car. Carlos gave him a very clear explanation of all of the repairs and what he did. They have a big sign posted in there place that says we arent the cheapest, but we are the best. I would fully agree with that sign and was happy to pay a little bit more for the great service that we received. We wouldnt hesitate to go back again.

If you value honesty in a mechanic and a repair shop, AEF is the place for you. Carlos has worked on two of my cars over the past year and in both cases, the repair work was done in a very honest and professional manner. Due to my automotive repair shortcomings, these are the two qualities I value most. The recent add of Michelle in the office is a great compliment. She is nice, friendly and professional as well.

My car broke down and left me stranded, my electrical system turned off all of the sudden. I called Carlos at Auto Electric and he allowed me to tow my car in with out an appointment which I am thankful for.Him and his crew diagnosed and fixed my vehicle and made it run better. I had a fantastic experience with Carlos, he is conscientious and a passionate repair technician. If would give 10 starts if I could.Great people and an outstanding service, I would recommend this business but be awarethis is probably the most expensive shop in California.

Carlos runs a great shop. Hes done my oil changes for a while now. Just did my breaks. Quick service and always professional. Ive recommended several on my customers to his shop. Ive seen him working on classics, historical cars, work trucks, and everyday commuters. If you need work done, give him a call.

If you have an electrical issue with your car this is the place to bring it to, great customer service and great work, the diagnostic is pricey but you get what you pay for because they know their stuff

Oil changed went smoothly and also got free diagnostic on vehicle. Honesty is my biggest thing. The service was on point and very informative! I always get worried bring up problems with my car because I don’t want to get hit on the head with a scary bill but I don’t get that feeling here

Carlos has been my mechanic for years and he is very honest the thing I like about him is that he wont fix something unless is broken. He is knowledgeable, honest and fair and has great reviews on here for a reason. I would definitely recommend his business.

I brought my vehicle to them because my air conditioning would stop working from time to time and after spending a bunch of money with other shops that only threw parts at the car and could never find the problem I decided to come to Auto Electric for a diagnostic, they found that the issue was a connection that was loose and they quickly fixed the problem and I feel that I did not have to waste my money this time.Great service and very honest people, but they are not cheap though.

This place is awesome, the crew is knowledgeable, honest and extremely friendly. I do have to say that Carlos is very upfront which is something I like and he will find whats wrong with your car and fix it, I have been a loyal customer for years and I have nothing but good things to say about them. I want to give him a 1 star review because of the waiting time to bring my car in but the reality is that he fixed my vehicle when I was ready to sell it because my mechanic does not work on electrical systems I had to come to him, I can truly say that I am ok with his services and I would recommend his shop.

I reached out to this shop because 2012 BMW was having electrical problems and my mechanic kept telling that the car is fixed and 2 days later it would do the same thing, I was skeptical at first because I know that this shop is expensive, Well I agreed to their diagnostics which was like $900 but I am glad I did, they fixed the electrical problem and even though it took them 4 days but when I got my car back It was all fixed and yes it cost me a lot of money but now I can drive my car and feel safe knowing that it is reliable and yes I would definitely recommend this business, they are honest and really know their stuff.

I dont write many reviews, but I had to in this case. Words cant really express how pleased I am with the service I received from the whole team at Auto Fuel and Electric! I wanted to do a major refurbish on my 95 Camry. I love the car and wanted to keep it as long as possible. I was also on a time table to get it done. Once Doug, Hans & Aki got the vehicle evaluated, it turned out to be a great deal more work than we originally planned. Despite that, they did everything I requested (And believe me, that was alot!) and finished on time. I know they all put in a bunch of overtime to make sure I hit the road on time for the trip I had planned! The car runs and rides like new and my wife and I couldnt be happier! I would definitely recommend them for any of your car care needs! Thanks guys!

Hans and his team are always great. They found the issue with my car (fuel pump failure) and fixed it, along with a few other time-appropriate things. One of the guys even reminded me to double-check the car seat they had re-installed!I dont always like servicing my car, but I always like Hans and his team!

I dealt with Carlos. Not only was he courteous and professional. But he went far above and beyond to get things right. I will definitely bring any auto electric issues to him in the future.

I took my 79 Ford F150 on Oct 26 to the shop to have my rear brake light and back up lights repaired. They charged me $290 to tell me that I had a loose wire . fOR THE $290.00 they would not repair my reverse lights. They called me and told me that for an additional $900.00 they would change a bad switch on the transmission and that all the wiring needed to be rewired to the back up lights. Also they said that the light sockets needed to be replaced. I purchase the switch from Oreilly auto parts for $45.00 and installed it and all my lights are working. They were gonna rob me for $1200.00 when they could have been an honest shop and fixed everything for the $290 which was more than enough to complete the job and make a profit. I do not recommend this shop!!!!!

Not the cheapest place In town but they are on top of their game..... I had a strange electrical problem I didnt know what it was.....this shop was able to diagnose and fix the problem within A-day.....since this is my only car, that was such a relief that they could fix it and find the problem so fast.

To be honest it is better to fix everything by your self instead taking to this mechanic.

Customer service at this shop is wonderfulthey explain everything in detail and even though I think that their prices are a little high it is well worth the money, after taking my vehicle to 2 other shops who could not fix my problem I came this shop and they found the problem right away, we will definitely be back in the future.

They know their stuff and have proven to me so many times to be trustworthy!

I got to know Carlos 15 years ago when he fixed my VW I still remember that he was the only one that could figured out why my car would misfire in the morning only and not even the dealer could find it and after that I became his loyal customer and even though I have to drive about 40 miles to his shop I would not take my car to anybody else and I do not know how he does it but he always finds out what the problem is.
