This particular Home Depot is great. Not crowded, clean, and friendly service. I was in and out for gardening supplies pretty fast. I would recommend this location over the Paramount one for sure

MY GOD THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT DELIVERING HOME APPLIANCES!! I ordered a washer and dryer over a month ago and canceled my order several times now and I still have yet to receive my items. On top of this they have already send me the first bill to pay when i havent even received my order!

Not all home Depots are the same. Shocked to actually find a store where employees are courteous and helpful. Dont mind driving an extra 10 miles to get quality service. This is whats expected from all home depots. Good work ladies and gentlemen.

They only had one plant of the type I wanted and it was damaged in the 5 gallon size, there werent anymore and it fell over. BUT the Garden dept looked GREAT!! Clean, overheads were immaculate keep it up

Quick in and out. Got help with paint as soon as I got in. The thing that took the longest was the checkout lane but that was because I unfortunately went at peak hours

Eduardo from the paint is the best service from all the stores in the area. He colored matched my paint and dried the samples at the store to make sure I was satisfied with the final look I will definitely go back for more paint to finish my home repairs.

Garden doesnt have quality shrubs and perennials as Torrance and others disappointed

I have been to many HDs in the South Bay area. This one has been the best HD. I used to work near this store so it was convenient, but now I will drive past 2 or 3 others to go here. Even my in-laws make the drive to this store. Always clean and workers willing to help even if it is not their area.

I placed an on line order. Service desk associate was nice and extremely tentative.

I went for a board that I needed for a project and needed it to be cut down to a size I needed. Well I asked one of the staff there and with really no concern said it was out of order. Which I understand. But could of referred me maybe to another store and even apologize for the inconvenience. But no, really no customer service. But over all i give it a 3 star.

Be carful people my truck was stolen from parking lot and stuff members mention that there has been multiple cars stolen from this location and said that top people dont care and havent done anything about it to be safe shopping i will Recommend not to shop here unles you wanna have your car/truck stolen or broken in to!!

I used to visit this store all the time until two weeks ago. I asked several workers where a certain product was located and every last one of them said go by the back door therell be somebody back there to help you. NOT!!! After 30 minutes and numerous trips to the back door there was this one younger guy that actually walked back there with and showed me exactly what I needed.As for the other workers there too busy chatting with Hispanic customers...nevermind.They dont make you feel welcome. Either theyre at their computers or on their phones. I will not return where Im ignored.

What can I say if you have been to one home depot u have been to them all at least theyre consistent but they still aint LOWES.....

Its a home depot what do you expect?? get ur tools,hardware, material and supplies.. no need to ask for help even self check out... if u have a negative customer experience then thhats your fault lol . i rarely have interactions with any worker so i cant complain about service from them since i serve myself from entry to checkout

I felt very discriminated I came to the home depot on 10-20-19 in compton with my family I was only person that they stop at the door while other people also paid on self checkout they were never stop at door I think because of my race Im Hispanic and the security was African-American I will never come back to this store again I will rather drive somewhere else to another Home Depot in Paramount. Will never shop again thanks for the horrible service

This is the worst Home Depot to go to if you are trying to buy appliances. I heard it was Samsung’s warehouse but I’m not sure, I just know I bought my appliance from Home Depot so I expect that Home Depot would make sure that I receive my appliances according to the time frame they give and in good condition. However, recently our stove stopped working so we went to Home Depot in Compton and bought a really nice LG stove in november 2020 but it was back ordered so we had to wait until January to receive. The day comes to get the stove and no one shows up. My moms phone received a call that went straight to voicemail (technology) but when she checked it they said they would wait in front of the house for 15 minutes until someone comes. So my family and I go outside searching through the building to see if it came and there is no truck. My mom then proceeds to call and finds out that they had the wrong address although we have an account with Home Depot and entered our address correctly and Home Depot confirmed our address was correct in their system. Despite acknowledging that it was their fault because the zip code was wrong, they wanted us to wait another month to receive our stove because a zip code change is considered significant and they would have to reprocess our request. In other words they would give our stove we were waiting a whole month for to another customer and we would have to wait an additional month to get a new one. Keep in mind these issues were not our fault. We let it go. Through some good customer service reps at Home Depot we were able to get the stove the next week. We decided not to report anything to consumers because everyone has bad days and we can’t expect Home Depot to be perfect. But then our refrigerator went out recently. Every reasonably priced refrigerator was back ordered. We couldn’t wait that long for a new refrigerator so we bought a more expensive Samsung one as they would be able to get it to us within a week. The week comes and they open the refrigerator and it’s broke. So they have to send it back. So they reschedule for the next week, but they remove our service to have the current broke refrigerator to be removed so my mom has to call them again. Friday comes for us to get our refrigerator and once again the refrigerator is broke. This is ridiculous. I’ve never heard of such horrible service in my entire life. It as if it is deliberate. I’m quite sure Beverly Hills and the fairfax area do not deal with broken refrigerators being sent to their homes but in Compton they give you trash. I will not recommend this store and we will be taking our business elsewhere since our money is not important to them.

I like the Compton Home Depot better than the Paramount store.

I needed to purchase paint supplies. The paint dept is always staffed and customer focused, never any negative issues. The rest of the store was clean and observing all the latest anti virus procedures. Pleasant, quick and safe experience.

Typical Home Depot in terms of merchandise. Great customer service; had a small town feel to it because so many employees and customers had long standing acquaintances. It was nice. You dont get that type of feel from big box stores too often.

I wouldve given them 5 stars, however, I had to wait inside this Home Depot location an additional 1 1/2 hour, just to receive a refund from a purchase I had just made.I will say, however, Allison Fuentes (their Pro Department Supervisor) was extremely friendly, patient, professional, and knowledgeable in my attempt to receive my refund.

Didnt have large cubes of mulch or planting mix. Just got them in Signal Hill a few weeks ago.

Such a pleasant experience here. Such a large store with so much variety. Me and my father found what we were looking for! Drove from LA to here to find a better product we were looking for. Before coming to the store, I called and Daniela was able to provide great customer call service and reassure they had the product we were looking for was in stock (you know how it is sometimes with retail stocking.) Arriving to the store, Ricardo nicely asked us if we needed help and he was able to answer our question we had. Dina at the checkout provided us with great customer service. Everyone that helped us gave us such a great experience for our first time here at this store. Everyone that helped us was so friendly and attentive! Its rare when you go to a store with employees who give you Great Customer Service! The store is a little distant, but a definitely worth coming too!
