I loved coming to Clown cone when I was a kid. Although customer service was good. The atmosphere is just different...this love coming to this place and being able to take my kids, and tell them about going there with my parents.

Let me say jus say this. My dad (RIP) took me and my sisters here as kids. We took our kids to Clown Cone, cant wait to take my grand daughter. Such wonderful memories as a kid growing up on on the North Side of Columbus. Big City Arcade & Clown Clown was my spot. I wish them continued success!

Over heard one of the workers say “there is a lot of coloreds here today” I will absolutely not be coming back smh I was shocked and it was my first time going. But other than that I like the ice cream and candy. Place could be bigger though.

This place was awesome! Like walking back in time. Prices cant be beat, they even have a penny candy section. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can tell the place is old and can use some freshening up. But overall I loved it and so did the kids

Im honestly kind of surprised by how many great reviews this place has, so Im going to chalk up my experience to them having an off day. It was like a furnace in this shop. It took forever to get our ice cream (but that was mostly the customers ahead of us) and when I did, my ice cream had a hair in it.

We absolutely love Clown Cone. I grew up visiting on a regular basis as I lived in the neighborhood. I now live on the other side of town and still make the drive to bring my younger children as well as grandchildren to enjoy the Clown Cone experience. My kids love it here they still have individual pieces of candy like the old penny candy days. ( 5, 10, 15 cents each) The variety of hand dipped ice cream is a hidden treasure. The food as usual was amazing !! The clown dolls/ puppets etc. are fun to look at & they always have rare nick nacks & trinkets you would not find at your typical store. They also have excellent customer service. This is a place everyone in the family will enjoy. We had three generations with our last visit and everyone found something they liked. Lastly the prices are terrific!! We had 8 people some had food & milkshakes other double scoop cones and only spent 28 bucks!!

Tinier than I expected, but full of character. Extremely friendly and engaging staff. A few unique flavors Ive never seen. Six scoops of ice cream between three people and some candies and still under $15.

Get the yellow birthday cake or fudge brownie, or both! I will crave Clown Cone and make a special trip to the north side for it. Great service and you can get all of your favorite throw-back candies here.

Havent been here for a few years now since I moved to Pittsburgh but I remember going to this place when I was a kid and it was my favorite place to get ice cream and a pizza. My mom would tell me about how she would go to clown cone as a child as well. Always great service, the staff has always been very nice and I would love to stop through next time Im in Columbus. When it comes to taking your kids out for a fun lunch you cant go wrong with clown cone.

I have never experienced anything like this place! I had the most amazing burger with a shake! And had to get candy of course. I will always come back to this place and forever share my experience and hope to one day take my kid’s here! ☺️

They have DELICIOUS soft, creamy, homemade icecream of all flavors, and the kind of candy I would see growing up in the 90s! Its a great place to go feel like a kid again AND I can get 2 scoops in a waffle cone multiplied by 4 kids and myself with candy too for under $10.

Let me just say we were absolutely delighted with out trip to this ice cream shop! The ice cream is delicious!!! Creamy, smooth milkshakes and flavorful slushies! Not to mention the prices are very inexpensive! They also have food- remember those little Mexican style pizzas they used to serve in elementary school??? They have them!!! Wow! And the selection of candies is very extensive! We will most certainly tell others about the hidden gem we found the other day!

Only allowed a handful in at a time with masks & provided hand sanitizer at the door for everyone. Same great service, ssme great options, same great prices, less crowd inside! You can get your things quicker! We did have to wait a bit outside to get in but, by the time we left, there was no line so, it can go quickly. We went around 6pm Friday and closing time was 8pm but, we were in & out in less than 25mins total. ALWAYS WORTH IT!!! And we usually spend at least 15mins inside pre-COVID because there is so much to look at & choose from lol!

It may be tucked back into the Northern Lights mall, but its a great place to go. The ice cream is great, and its always a popular spot to go. The loads of candy for cheaper prices is great and it makes it fun. The affordability makes it a great local ice cream shop, and while it could use more seating outside, its still worth the experience.
