Saraga is one of my favorite grocery stores. The variety of fresh produce puts the national chains to shame. The prices are fair and its fun to buy things with which Im unfamiliar and figure out how to prepare them.

Buyer Beware the prices for the meat are very cheap but it is most likely rotten or very old. The meat still smell rotten after I cooked it! The positive is that I was able to return it without any issue!

The place was supposed to have international food. It was a sign that shows the product I was looking for but was none. The cashier only person in the store had no idea of what I was looking for even when i show her the sign. The place and the customer service sucks. I am no coming back

I found all kinds of exotic fruits and vegetables, they had fish from all over the place. it was an awesome adventure. Oh and the spices ..you want it they got it..with reasonable prices

Its an african market indeed. Not just african market but American, mexican, Chinese and what have you. Come and have a great time

Big grocery store with wide variety of fresh produce including leafy greens, fresh turmeric and watercress. Big selection of ethnic food and spices as well as in store fish market.

This place is amazing!! I had a buddy recommend this place to me because i have a strict diet and my mind was blown.. They sell so many things from around the world.. The prices are reasonable and they sell live fish!! Catfish and Tilapia!! My only requestis that they start selling octopus! 🐙.. Please! It would sell.. Thats One of the only things that you dont sell from the sea... Please start selling octopus!! Ill buy 1-2 every week if you did.. Thanks...

At first when kroger left the location, i was unhappy that i couldnt get groceries and other things nearby. But when this new store took over the location, all my worries were gone. And it has been a great experience everytime i visit.

Ive been to this location a handful of times since it first opened with no major issues but today was absolutely disgusting. 75% of the produce was rotten and covered in fruit flies. There was rotting fruit juice all over the floor. It smelled disgusting. There was dirt on the floor throughout the store. The entire store was filled with smells of rotting food. I wouldnt buy any fresh food here in the condition the store was in.

They basically have no one in customer service to help a customer finding an item. In addition, they hire Hispanic people (who do not speak functional English) .

Nice to have this store in the area. Has a wide selection of international items and an awesome produce selection. The one on Morse seems to be busier so I like this store despite it not carrying the same items as the Morse location. The prices are fine and the frozen paneer is great!

Good selection. Clean store. Wouldnt recommend the frozen fish, but everything else is good

EDIT: Unfortunately, Nepali Khaja Ghar has been CLOSEDThis review is about the Nepali Khaja Ghar inside the Saraga at Cleveland Ave. They have recently started serving Nepalese/Tibetan foods in this location.I would suggest to try one of their Nepalese Chowmein. The flavor and taste is almost the same as you get back home.Momo (Dumplings) are also the best ones which we get in Columbus area, especially the Jhol (sauce) Momo. The sauce is incredible.The chicken Momo is quite bigger in size. Vegetable Momo is also very tasty.Last, but not least, the people who own and operate this place are so humble and soft-spoken that even if you didnt like the food, you may want to visit one more time just to say Hi to them.

Fruits, candy and popsicle from all over the world. Great place to visit. Live fish market. Seafood from everywhere. Very pricy on the fresh fish.

I like this place because of unusual items they carry. They r a great value to buy fresh herbs, mushrooms, and fruit. They also have a great variety of international spices and other items. The reason for the 3 stars is because the freshness of their produce is not as good as other grocery stores. You must look very careful at what you are buying. Also, be very aware of the prices and what is on the shelf where the prices are is actually what you are buying. For example, I bought some bagged apples in a bin that said honey crisp for $3.49. When I got home and ate one, I realized that they were not honey crisp at all.

Im a new vegan and this is the only store where I can find everything the YouTube vegan influencers are cooking.The prices are reasonable.The service is friendly.The tea prices are really nice.

Saraga is my go to grocery when I’m preparing or craving ethnic dishes. They have an enormous selection and the prices are reasonable. I have learned though that I have to go in with the expectation that my shopping trip will take longer than it would at another chain grocery store like my neighborhood Kroger or Aldi because it’s much larger and the workers often don’t speak English which means that it’s harder to find things quickly. But overall I think what I gain from the experience is totally worth the time and money.

This Saraga is certainly bigger than the one on Morse (or at least, the aisles are not as crowded), but it lacks selection. There is not as much foot traffic as the other one, so we saw multiple items that were on the brink of expiring (all the tofu had an expiration date for the next day). Although the restaurants were open, we didn’t see anyone dining inside. Therefore, we’ll be using this one for the staples but it seems Morse still reigns for quality and diversity of products just due to the larger customer base.

This store is awesome and has great products at low prices! I usually go to the Morse Road Saragas, but this one is more organized and I like it a lot.I wouldve given it an easy five stars if I hadnt gone to the bathroom.The bathrooms were disgusting. Bad smell, splattered urine on the toilet seats. So I grab some toilet paper and try to put soap on it to wash the toilet seat and... theres no soap.Everything else is 5 stars, but Im now super grossed out thinking about how many people couldve been walking around touching stuff during a pandemic with unwashed hands. Ill be going to the Morse Road Saragas in the future.

The fruit wasnt that fresh, but still found what I needed.

Very clean and well stocked. I remember when this location was a Krogers, and having a Saraga is a huge step up from before. I hope this store stays here for a long time.

The Mexican restaurant was awesome, the customer service in the store(specifically cashiers) was bad, Rude, and not helpful at all. All the small shops unrelated to the grocery part was very nice and helpful.

Its a great grocery store. They have a produce section that has a lot of stuff that I dont even know what it it is. Id love to know somebody who knows how to cook those foods. The prices are a little higher than chain supermarkets but not so much so. They have a great seafood department that includes a large variety of live fish. Yes, you can look that fish in the eye and say Mmm.. you look tasty. 🍽️ . It doesnt get more real than that. They also have an excellent meat department. Its the biggest store of its kind Ive ever been in. Amazing variety. Prices werent as high as I expected. its probably here because this neighborhood has a large West African immigrant population. There are also small specialty restaurants and a coffee in the grocery store. One of them has good pastries. my only real disappointment is that they dont have a wide variety of breads. I hope the place makes it. I know it was pretty slow when they first opened but it seems busier now.

Sarahs is great in general but the store on Cleveland Ave was extremely cold. The manager or owner lied when he said that the coolers makes it cold (BS). I think he just didnt have the heat on. It felt no different indoors than outdoors.

This place is awesome! The variety of product they have is astounding. I had been looking for red jalapeños everywhere, finally found them here. And the prices for everything is just stupid low. Ill find something for $10 cheaper than what I would find it at Kroger. If this were closer to my home, Id be here all the time.

This store is okay for certain things, the meat is always fresh, just dont get the so-called fresh chicken, they package and sell it spoiled.

The first time I went, they didnt have everything I needed to make spring rolls. I went today because I wanted to give a second chance and this location does not have green bananas. You heard right. They did not have green bananas. What kind of international market does not have green bananas.

I was at your Cleveland Ave store in Columbus, OH on Tuesday March 31st around 3 PM with my wife. We picked up 2 olive jars priced at $3.49 each along with about $100 worth of other groceries.The olives rang at $4.99 each at the register. I told the cashier that the price should be $3.49 not $4.99. She called someone for price check. The ENTIRE section (20-30) jars of the same size and brand were priced $3.49 (3 different labels). The employee removed the labels and called the store manager, Jay (or something like that). The store manager refused to honor the price (total price difference of $3) stating that the price tags were probably placed by a new employee and she is going to refuse to honor the price. This is totally unacceptable. I was so upset and disappointed that I decided not to buy anything from that store anymore and I left all my grocery shopping and left the store. That, so called. manager, cost you $100 worth of groceries on the spot and a life long customer all over $3 that was her stores fault. She would have to pay more than $3 to her employees to just put the items back in their places!I always wondered why the store is mostly empty, Now it makes sense why there is usually more employees than costumers in that store. !We have been regular costumers since the Sarage on Morse opened. Count us a loyal costumer lost.

There fresh produce is far from it...

I bought tortillas a few days ago from here and there was mold when I opened the package today. Now, I’m sure I’m not the only who has had tortillas sit in the fridge for weekS before ever seeing them mold, so I know this package had to have been sitting on the shelf for months. No wonder why this branch of the store is dead 🤦🏽‍♀️

Store discriminates against disabled and management refuse to come to the phone. Filed a complaint with the state about it. Never again.

Excellent produce selection and international foods. Also have more common American supermarket foods available at this Cleveland Ave location. You can get your frozen pot stickers, fresh halal lamb and your Kraft Mac & cheese all in the same store. Now they need to add some local organic and they would be perfect.

Its really hard to get any type of customer service because of some language barriers. Theyre unable to gain what youre trying to say as far as how you want your meat cut. And then when you look around the store for everything you cant have anyone show you where anything is. they have some good quality stuff there but you cant ever get any information about anyting. The girls at the front cashiers are pretty nice and they have great customer service

Some of the meats need to be updated because when I brought some hamburger and put it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to get ready to cook it had already turned brown and hamburger meat dont suppose to turn that fast

They have a massive amount of foreign products. Staff were nice, and a nice touch is the taco place in-store. Reasonably priced as well for an international store.

Very clean. Spacious room around produce. Store is well-organized. There is excellent labeling at end of aisles and down the aisles. Makes it much easier to find items.

This place is amazing. There is a huge variety of fresh produce and the prices are great.

Today the store didnt have a lot on the shelves. Some of the items has been expired since November. The almond crackers. Some of the packages of small mixed peppers had mold in them. Some of the fruit was over ripe. Ill go back in a week and see if its any better.

First time visiting this location it seemed unclean, unlike a more organized @Morse -Maize location years ago.Few staff and checkout employees not wearing masks. Market was unclean, unusually warm with strange foul odor.Location is a former closed Kroger. Very little business.

Fun place.More spacious than the Morse rd one but it seemed to have slightly less selection, but I spent more here...Lots of fun unusual and often high quality food (like sashimi tuna).No, they dont sell alcohol, but yes the do sell a wide swath of yummy and very interesting drinks and food from sodas to greens and mushrooms, yams, a fresh fishmonger(mmm fresh black mussles) and a central American style butcher.Completely worth your time!Come in and experience the world through food.

There were lots of great finds, unfortunately much of the selection was bad or going bad.

Clean new store but the fish guy will rip you off. Shrimp was on sale so my wife asked for 4 lbs. He had put a large amount in a tray then removed half of it but still put the 4lb label on. We put it on our scale at home and found that we bought 2.15 lbs for the price of 4. If you ask him for product make him rescale for you.

I absolutely love this store!! They have great prices and foods you cant find everywhere. Only issue is I got hooked on the coconut water they carry and for the last 3weeks they have been out of it. Very disappointing!! Saraga whats up with the coconut water by fruitvale? Please get those back.
