We stopped in here for the first time today. Greeted right away. Server Theresa was dynamic and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Food tasted fresh. Every meal that walked past our table looked delicious. Would definitely go back. And its BYOB!

Great food and fair prices. We got the fish fry and pumpkin pancakes. Both were excellent. Our waitress, Theresa, was absolutely wonderful. Its going to be our new go to spot.

I went here today and my server did not seem like she was doing her job to full capability. (the one with the purple hair). However, the hostess seemed like she was overworked. I felt bad for her. I saw her numerous times running around completing what others should have. She was really sweet as well. I’ve had her as a server before and I believe her name was Morgan.Next time I go here (if I even do) I would prefer her. Shes amazing. Overall the food is OK. The staff needs an upgrade though (minus Morgan).

The Metro has very good food, great service and decent prices. They have a pretty good selection of food to satisfy most palates. I had an omelet for breakfast this morning which was yummy. If youre in the area of the Oxford Valley Mall and looking for a great place to eat, dont hesitate to stop in, you wont be disappointed.

This was Mike and my first time at Metro Diner. We were greeted and sat right away. The diner was clean looking from another places around. Our waiter Phillip was attentive; kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We met one owner Pete. He told us the history of metro and the diner, drive and dive show it was on. He was friendly and took pride in his resturant. We look forward to returning to have some great food again. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. Thank you for reminding us how a resturant should be ran. With healthy standards, cleaniness and a friendly staff with smiles.

Excellent diner that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all times throughout the day. Booths are very large and roomy. Food is outstanding with an extensive menu. My sister had pot roast with potatoes and dark gravy. Roast was tender - melted in your mouth - no chewing necessary. The gravy, thick and creamy, was sublime. Potatoes delicious. I had breakfast. Pancakes, bacon, eggs and grits. All I can say it was cooked Southern style and reminded me of my grandmothers breakfast. Really, really good. Son enjoyed his pot pie - very large and piping hot; partner enjoyed fried fish and chips. All servings were plentiful and, even after eating heartily, we had enough to take home. To top it off, our waitress, Ashley, was attentive and available. Suitable for the entire family and even a dinner date. We will definitely return . . . soon!

Breakfast was awesome, their pancakes were HUGE that I couldnt eat anything else.

Good food if you like breakfast/lunch food with a southern twist. They have a great breakfast menu and the kids meals are good. The burgers are pretty good too. I just found out they are byob, so a burger with a byob beer is a good choice.

Stopped by for breakfast for dinner with my bf just to try it out and both got belgian waffles and shredded homefries which food was great and I love that you have the option for shredded potatoes as most diners do not make them that way. The hostess was so nice and friendly. Will be back again.

I wouldve given them 5 stars for having super friendly staff and amazing food but they forgot to include the gravy for the Fried Chicken Plate and the strawberries and whipped cream for the Strawberry Shortcake Bread Pudding. Ill still come back though but will definitely check everything before I drive home.

Horrible experience. Said there was people ahead of us but when others walked in sat them right away. Waited for a solid 15 minutes before we had to leave. Refused to seat us because we wanted to split our party into groups of 3. Went to Langhorne Speedway Diner instead and it was great. If i could i would put no stars for Metro Diner.

Ordered the shepherds pie to go. It was not baked and was nothing like is shown on the menu. It was served as a bit of veggies in gravy, a half a slice of meatloaf and a scoop of mashed potatoes on top. It was a small serving. The ice cream sized scoop of potatoes was the majority of the dish.I did order it without cheese, it was an option given on the menu, if removing the cheese changes it from a pie to whatever that was, the option should be removed.Editing to reply to the owner.No thank you. If the difference in quality between takeout and dine in is so remarkable that the take out dishes are unrecognizable as what they are supposed to be, I dont think I will spend more money at your restaurant.Again, It was not shepherds pie. Shepherds pie is a casserole type dish. This was a scoop of potatoes still shaped like the scoop, meatloaf and a bit of veggies in gravy separate..

This place was hopping!!!! Busy place, but served breakfast all day. The Belgian waffles smelled awesome. Good variety of food to choose from. The waitress was nice 🙂

This is a very pleasant place, I was surprised. A very nice comfortable place with very nice people working there. The service was very efficient, and professional. The space is small, so I can imagine it becomes quite cramped during peak hours, however there is patio seating that will work nicely in the warmer seasons. The house music is much to loud, leading patrons to have to talk louder than they should need too, other than that it would be an easy five star.

Went for breakfast the other day. The hash browns were all butter, unable to eat them. Bacon was not fully cooked. A large OJ was $4! Ouch. We should have just went to the local diner. Much cheaper and much better breakfast.

I was so excited to try this place because it just recently opened. They provide you with free honey butter biscuits which are delicious. However, the rest of the food I ordered was extremely salty. I ordered the fried seafood platter and the pot roast. The post roast was a little cold, and the manager ended up giving us our whole order for free, which is something he didn’t have to do. The service here is phenomenal but the food is just extremely salty for my liking. However, I am willing to try it here for breakfast and give them another shot because the service was beyond great!

Metro Diner is a restaurant worth eating at. The service is on point. The staff is friendly, and the food is worth every penny. Everything is made from scratch and tastes like love is put into the food. I will be eating here again.

My girlfriend and I were seated and the couple that were seated after us were taken care of before us and also served before us. I thought it was first come first served. Also when we got our food, we were missing our side order of sausage. We were both finished with our food and the side order never came out. The food also did not taste so great. And the seats definitely were not 6 feet apart, which is another risk due to covid-19 I will not be returning to this location. They also tried charging us for 2 cups of coffee that we never ordered. They also brought out the sausage after we had received the check and they were not cooked all the way.

Meat lovers omelette was tasty, but it was basically dry filled with the meats, they fell out before every bite, not held in with the cheese. Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly

We love going here for breakfast/brunch. Friendly staff and a large selection of items. They are practicing social distancing while ensuring you have a great meal. While we mostly go here for breakfast foods, they also have a robust and tasty dinner menu. Highly recommended for comfort food.

This Metro Diner location continues to really disappoint myself but let alone my family. We always give it another chance thinking, the next time will be better or perhaps it was a bad day in the kitchen. I honestly cant recall the last time my takeout order was correct. Theres usually an item missing or the overall display of the food is quite sad. Yesterdays example is perfect. A BLT sandwich with an egg, no tomatoe was ordered. The container was opened by my wife and what do you know. There was no tomatoe, thank gosh but also no bacon or mayonnaise served on burnt cold toast. The home fries were cold as well. Im kind of speechless at this point....

Was our first time here. We enjoyed it here. The food is good. Yes higher priced for breakfast but definitely worth it. You get alot of food. Teresa was our server and very knowledgeable. We definitely want to come back for lunch. For being busy we got sat fairly quickly. Food came out fast as well. Parking is a bit crazy. But definitely try it out.

Very pleased with my first visit. Friendly employees. Our server Jonathan was the best. My meal was perfect, from the brewed peach tea to the perfectly cooked bacon on my hamburger. Highly recommend.

Service wasnt good. Food was average. Not my server, but another server I did notice she did not have her hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun. She kept flicking her hair, scratching her head, touching her hair, then handling the plates to give to her customers. I am so glad she wasnt my server. Just unsanitary & unprofessional. I wont be coming back.

Stopped in for an early dinner with my kids and my mother and can I just say that the food was superb the waitress was nice and the place was clean. I would highly recommend that you stop in you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered a kids meal with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, whole wheat toast, and hash browns. The eggs were bland but at the very least they were neither under nor over cooked. I then moved on to the toast - which was soft and covered in butter that I didnt ask for - but that seems to be the way toast is made these days at most places. My two star rating is due to the sludge of cooking oil that coated the hash browns and turkey sausage. I usually dont mind a little grease but this was A LOT. I couldnt even eat the whole meal it was so disgusting, and it was a meal for kids. I will never eat at this restaurant again.

Servers are efficient. Coffee is good. Eggs Benedict is realy good. Avoid potatoes. Hashbrowns are way too browned for my liking. I tried to go with home fries instead, they are not cooked enough in boiling stage but overcooked in frying stage

Nice, clean, plenty of parking. I stopped in during the week to pick up breakfast. There was a nice selection of interesting to go items, more than just your basic eggs and plain pancakes. I got biscuits with sausage gravy, regular French toast, and croissant French toast with a side of bacon. Being from the Midwest I have had sausage gravy many times, and I was a little disappointed. It wasnt horrible, but it had no kick. Im used to it being a bit spicy, with lots of black pepper. I just added some myself. The biscuits were very good, soft. My kids didnt like the French toast very much. It had too much cinnamon. The hash browns were good, not too greasy.

Ordered turkey and cheese on rye with mayo on the side. They forgot to give me the mayo and never came back to check on how we were doing so that I could tell her I need Mayo. The bread completely fell apart when I picked it up and I forgot to put cheese on my sandwich. So basically I just ate sliced turkey meat which was definitely nothing special. The chicken soup was so extremely salty that it was not edible. The onion rings that I ordered were okay but thats about it. My wife didnt like her meal all that much either. I forget what she ordered though.

If I lived closer, this would be my new go to spot. The food was really good and much better than your average dinner food. The service was also excellent and the inside was clean and nicely decorated. I really loved the idea that they serve breakfast lunch and dinner all day long. Most diners are only all day breakfast, but at Metro, if you want a hamburger at 8am, you can have a hamburger at 8am! I would recommend this place.

Some of the most ignorant servers Ive ever encountered. Not on just one occasion. Multiple times. You say something to management and they nod and agree. Same people working when you come back. Ill take my business elsewhere from now on. After Sundays encounter, Im done.

We ordered DoorDash the chicken and waffles, so when we got our order we realized the sauce for the chicken and the sauce for the waffles on both orders was missing. The waffles were good but the chicken did not seem fresh at all & the batter wasn’t great. Frankly I couldn’t stand the chicken at all . Also everything was cold once I received it. We also ordered onion rings they werent that good either. We were definitely disappointed considering the restaurant has been open less than a year. But we will not be going back in the only reason I gave it 1 stars was because of the waffles and you can’t give less stars then that.I wish I read the reviews before ordering there because $60 was wasted and considering half of the reviews are about the chicken and waffles that they were missing their sauces for the chicken and the strawberry butter for the waffles. Seems like that’s a very popular dish there that they keep messing up on. Something needs to be changed. There needs to be a food expo that needs to watch and check the plates before they go out, to either tables or takeout orders. Clearly this is the same problem so something is messing up. How disappointed because I got those waffles because I was excited about the strawberry butter, that I never ever received.

Great! I was craving some comfort food and thought of them. I ordered meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was ready for pick up in 10 minutes and really hit the spot! In the past I have ordered their Napa chicken salad. Very good. I highly recommend them!

We went there thinking it was as good as Bensalem Metro for breakfast... no way. The waitress.. Theresa was great and friendly and kept checking on us .. coffee was fresh, hot and good... but food was not hot not even warm. My potatoes were cold and gooey. Scrambled eggs were cold, toast was so so. Few things fell off plates.. a waitress picked it off the floor and put it on the customer plate...gross!! But our waitress was very nice and tentative. We’ll got back to Metro Bensalem, much better restaurant. The hostess was loud..obnoxious with her fellow workers... she was a very good hostess at all. Thursday April 15th.

Wife and I were here in February 2020 it was good food and service then.Fast forward to August 2020...wont be going back. Meat loaf was burned to a crisp on one side. Wife had Dijon glazed chicken with 2small bags of Dijon...no side cup. As per asked me if I wanted a refill, yes please....20minutes later when I was done eating my Byrne meat loaf I got my drink w a subtle Im sorry.Maybe its the times but Ive been out to other places before this one and the food and service was much better. Maybe some places need to close up for a while so they know whats important to customers?

1st I typically like metro dinner. But I have given this location 2 chances and they have dissapointed me both times. Staff is nice enough but the food boy its cold always why is everything served cold. Have you ever tried to eat cold grits?. Most recently I ordered biscuits and gravy ever have cold sausage gravy?. Eggs were hard like theyve been sitting paid extra for the strawberry butter and strawberries, where are they at Im still wondering cause I never received it. I am so disappointed. $40 down the drain and I say this cause it was inedible. Only giving a 1 star cause I cant give zero. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION just go to Bensalam location.
