I love going to Rural King. My dog loves it as well! They have the popcorn back again (they took it away during covid). They also have a big bin of dog biscuits by the door which my dog loves. Also if you bring your dog with you, you get a free pig ear for them! I love to go for dog and horse supplies. My dog and I also like looking at the chickens and rabbits, there have been a few times they have other animals too like at one point they had a big rooster which was awesome. Lately, though they seem to be carrying less and less horse supplies, but there dog supplies seems to be growing, so kind of bitter sweet. I definitely would rather them carry more horse supplies vs. Dog supplies as they are the only place in town with horse supplies and there are a lot of places with dog supplies. Anyway, one of my favorite stores, definitely recommend!

Columbus store is getting better. More merchandise that doesnt mimic a plane crazh.

I love the store, it has tons and tons of stuff and anything imaginable for your animals. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because its always disorganized. It always looks dirty and can be hard to find items. I understand its a feed store and all this other stuff but it could be taken better care of.

I was looking for a specific kind of grass seed for my grandparents, but I wasnt having any luck. An employee approached me and she was very helpful. She went above and beyond pointing out the different types and explaining the best ways to plant the seeds and how to make sure It grows. I was very grateful for her willingness to help not only me, but my grandparents as well.

Wide variety of products! We tend to find what we are looking for here when we cant find it elsewhere. Our latest purchase was a big fan for the fair.

They dont have a very good selection of Milwaukee tools I am a big fan of Milwaukee

Rural King is the perfect store for items used in rural/suburban homes. If you need canning supplies, horse feed, fishing/hunting equipment, or chainsaw oil; this is the place to go.Just be prepared for the store to be less than clean. Its definitely dusty, but thats to be expected.

Whats not to like about rural king? Find what you need at a great price. I love to walk around and see whats new.

Went today for customer appreciation and free hot dogs, very good . We should have settled for the hot dogs instead we went in the store, they had alot of great deals . It turned into a costly trip . Customer service was really great

A former K-Mart, its a large & bare bones everything-store. From some groceries to toilet plungers its likely a popular store.

High prices. Check out is always slow. Good bargains on toys at Christmas time however.

Seems that things have changed. The Stihl products are few and between without anyone with any knowledge. Shelves are unstocked most of the time and when it does come to actual ag parts. Nobody has knowledge. Items stocked for minor repair items might be half of something and not the rest. Those that order these items have no clue what to stock. It might as well become a clothing store.

This store is an absolute disaster. Customer Service is horrible. The workers are rude and have absolutely no knowledge of any of products. They have 3 registers open with numerous workers wondering around the help desk. The entire store is dirty & both bathroom sinks had out of order signs so you can’t wash your hands in women’s bathroom. I bought several items but of all the items the flavored honey sticks could not be found in their system & they had to call for front desk after waiting several minutes I told the cashier to forget it. I do feel somewhat bad for the staff though. The older lady that worked back where the guns are had to radio several times just to get her lunch brake bc she had not had a break since she got their at 630 that morning & it was 2 pm. Somebody needs to go In and clean & organize that location. I love their deals but with all the other issues I don’t Plan on going back!

Okay, so heres the thing.... this is not the usual store I go into.... to be honest, I dont go into many, at all... long before COVID, but especially now, ... after COVID.I usually only sent to Wa-Mart, Jay C Food Stores, Kroger, CVS annnnd, yeah thats about it... BECAUSE, my body WONT allow for it. Ive already been instruct tty ed by my doctors that I CANNOT lift more than 1/2 gallon of milk or even bend over to put on shoes. I have an ACTUAL prescription slip for slide on shoes....A dew years after that I almost died! Not 1, 2, but THREE TIMES .... !!!! The last time was over malnutrition and vitamin deficiency. My body DOES NOT digest and ABSORB the nutrients and vitamins from foods and drinks like other ppl.So, going to thia store was very gor me, but we were after a speacial dog toy for a VWRY SPECIAL DOG .... that, actually DOES NOT, belong to anyone in my family. However this dog is a SUPER close neighbor to my sister and we went to Rual King to get a 5 knot rope (which he can tare to shreds in a matter of days) bc he LOVES it soooo much! But we couldnt find a 5 knot, like what is advertised on their website (for their location)!We did find a few 3 knot ropes. So we got one. He loved it... it did NOT last as long. But seeing how happy he was was with it to make myself (my body get out of the car and walk all over looking for it)!The problem with thia store, is that we HAVE been back agin for another 3 knot rope (since thats what we know they have)Buuuuttt.... I dont think the employees and or managers walk the aisles to see what the store REALLY looked like....Its a DISASTER! We bought flea medicine and several other things (car food and litter) and it is an absolute mess in there. There is broken bags of dog and cat food and litter as well everywhere.... its literally all over the floor and shelves.... there are things laying on the shelves that customers have removed, opened, stolen from, empty packages just laying there. There are items with NO price or even a tag on the hook or shelves for themThis store REALLY needs a COMPLETE MAKEOVER!!!!!P.S. We love the nee popcorn machine. Very COVID sensitive!!!!!

Pay for a gun online and then waited for the background check. got told they would call me once it was complete but it ended up expiring. They denied to sell me the weapon. I am active duty with 17 years in, I feel kinda insulted.

They are wonderful in Columbus helped get everything in the car and gave me a price reduced on merchandise marked wrong.

If you plan on purchasing something and research it first online and it says its in stock... It probably isnt. So good luck.

Great store, parking lot however leaves something to be desired unless you dont mind a trek through the majestic grand canyons.

I went over to the gun counter with interest in buying a new gun and the young guy behind the counter was outstanding in his job. I placed a gun on layaway and he treated me as if I were buying it outright. Weve all been somewhere and been treated less than because we couldnt pay for it all right there. Great experience and I will continue to be a patron for years to come. God bless!

We love shopping at Rural King because of the service and the atmosphere. Im usually there for pet supplies but Ive also shopped here for shoes before. I was shocked at how much inventory was in the clothing department.

Lots of space, dog friendly, good selection. Bought some 100% silicone in a squeeze bottle to fix a vase. They have clothes, snacks, guns, tools, farm equipment, planting equipment, pet and animal supplies. What more could you want?

This facility is under new management and much improved! Cleaner, better organized, and most pricing clearly marked. Much better inventory availability. Great prices on good quality products for the rural lifestyle!

Great place to take dog

I like the store, but nothing is ever marked with the right price, even the clearance stuff with the orange or red tag go to check out rings up regular price, then they have to get somebody to fix. Sometimes just a hasel to save a few bucks.

They have gotten better with customer service in my opinion but some of the same ones up front at the desk really need a class or something...

This really would not be a good time for me to give a report because Im pretty put out with the Rural King cash register system spent two hours at Rural King the place was packed and the system shutdown and my purchase is still there Ive got to make another trip back which is over 40 miles round trip to finish my purchase on Monday cuz know youre closed on Easter which is fine I understand that but its pretty frustrating to be in line and to be waiting for 2 hours I finally had to give up and leave and not going to make a second trip

Had a curbside pick up order.Not a good experience. Very unorganized and chaotic. Thought it would be a better option, your shipping charges are quite steep.May look for other suppliers.

Poor customer service. I really like this store, but I have gotten poor customer service lately. I called the store regarding an internet order pickup. I held for over 30 minutes and then was disconnected. I called back and waited again and was disconnected a second time. I shop here regularly but am very frustrated with this poor service..I have gotten much better service lately. There may be new management. This is one of my favorite stores. I shop there quite often
