They have huge rolls you can purchase and have their installers put it in or you can order like a typical carpet place and order from all the samples they have. Lots of csrpet choices, lot of padding choices. The sale folks are knowledgeable with no hard sell. Will definitely use them again.

My step-dad installs carpet for a living and so we didnt need any installation, so we just wanted to buy a high-quality carpet from wholesale, and thats what Evans offers. I’ve used this place many times since I’ve been flipping houses for 12 years. They always have a good choice of modestly priced carpet that doesn’t look or feel cheap. I always work with Ray and he has always given me great service. Their installers have been quite solid and pleasant as well. Two thumbs up.

I was recommended by a few local friends to check them out because they were happy with their results. I sent a fb message and left a voicemail and 10 days later I still havent heard anything back. Ive since found another small business to support because we were wanting to be done with the project sooner than later.

I love the custom stair runner Evans Carpet Junkyard made for me. The service was great!!! I went in on a Saturday, picked out the carpet remnant, told them how many stairs I had and was done with the order in less than 20 minutes. They called me on Monday and said my binding was done and I could pick it up. I had never been to their warehouse before, but know now to always go there first for any carpet or rug needs!

I had just had a bad experience with flooring in a big box store and decided to go to Evans Carpet Junkyard. I was mesmerized at the choices and the help was unbelievable! This is an extremely affordable place to buy carpet remnants. They will do custom rug binding to order. They can also order full rolls if you need. This is probably one of the best kept secrets in carpet.

What a great find! This is a very nice family run business. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and honest. We got a great deal on carpet that would have been 2x the price at other carpet outlets that applied their discount, We have used a number of contractors in our house remodel and our experience with Evans was one of the best. If you are needy, do not know what you want or are inflexible, this is not the place for you. If you know what you want, know a good deal when you see it, and like good customer service - Evans is your place. The installers work FOR Evans and do a great job. We had carpet installed on our steps and wanted a finished edge. The installer noticed and repaired mistakes from our last install. They went over and above to fix the last installers haphazard installation. We are very happy customers and will be back.

We have bought carpet with install twice from Evans Junkyard. I will always shop here and recommend people to them. Last time we carpeted with new pad and install 3 larger bedrooms for $1700. Mike installs hardwood floors there and I rave about him all the time. He did an amazing job installing our kitchen floor. We are about to move and do not need new flooring, but will be going there to make all of our rugs. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem for carpet. Perfect place to get scraps of carpet. The staff is very knowledgeable and will tell you how to install your own carpet. The carpet price is very cheap and great quality. Please make sure you give you plenty of times so you can look at all the carpet they have.

Walked into Evans Carpet Junkyard with the hope of buying/ordering a carpet today. While there is are a wide variety of carpets to select from, the service is awful. When I walked in, no greeted me, no one offered to help me, and no one even acknowledged that I was there. I started walking around to look at the carpets and still received no help. Finally I went up to someone and asked if there was anyone who could help me. He pointed to several people in a group talking and said that “they” could help me. I went over to them and waited for them to finish their conversation. Finally, a lady named Lisa Evans asked how she could help me. I told her I was there to pick out a carpet that would fit my living room and hallway. I didn’t have the exact dimensions, but I know I needed a 15 ft width. She was helpful in showing me the 15ft rolls and I picked out a couple that I like. I told her I was going straight home and would call her as soon as I measured the living room area exactly. I called her back within an hour or so, gave her the measurements, and she told me she would call right back with the price once she gets the measurements together. I waited several hours and still didn’t receive a call back. I then called her and was told that she was busy and that I needed to leave a message. Lisa called back within 30 minutes and gave me a price. While she was talking, she must of accidentally hung up on me. I waited several minutes to see if she would call me back, but she didn’t. So I called her again and the lady who answered forwarded me to Lisa Evan’s voicemail. Still haven’t received a call back.... I had every intent to buy a carpet today, but after the disappointing service, I am going elsewhere.

Came here to buy carpet remnants to make area rugs for my classroom at osu. the staff are very friendly and helpful. theyll gladly unroll scraps for you to see the entire pattern and condition of the fibers.ended up buying one big piece cut into three area rugs. if you want to turn the carpet into a rug, you pay for the material and to have the edges bound (optional, but a bargain and absolutely worth it), and then return a few days later to pick up the finished product. i realized id forgotten to specify a color for the binding, and was pleasantly surprised to see theyd picked a perfect matching color. the quality of the stitching on the binding is excellent.turnaround time was just a few days and pickup was uncomplicated. i was even able to pay over the phone. i was delayed several days in picking up the rugs and they were very understanding.

Evans carpet is a business that we have recommended to our friends and family constantly. While your process of selection may be different that what youve experienced before, there are always great carpet options to choose from in the enormous warehouse at Evans. We have always been treated exceptionally well by Jackie, and any of the other staff we have worked with. I know we have used Evans carpet twice in our old house, and we are carpeting for the 3rd time in our new house (5 times total thanks to our once leaky basements). We know that we have a great connection in Evans carpet and always enjoy doing business with this great company. I havent yet mentioned that the prices that we have received from Evans are literally 1/3rd the prices weve been quoted from the chain companies that exist in Columbus. We highly recommend Evans carpet.

We looked them up on Google, and it said they were open so we went. The doors were locked and there was a sign on the door that said appointment only. We called the phone number and it had been disconnected or changed. We checked online to make sure there wasnt a new number, and there was not... we went somewhere else.

The Carpet Junkyard offered a much more straight forward approach to carpet purchase and installation than the big box stores. The prices were reasonable, and the installation was quality.***We had left one of our floor registers covered, and the installers carpeted over it. We noticed the error a few weeks later. We called them, and they came over that very day and uncovered the vent.Thanks Carpet Junkyard!

We came to buy 3000 sq feet of carpet and left in less than 5 minutes after the sales lady was commanded by a superior not to show us anything or talk to us from across the showroom. Concerned about visible seems we asked about stitching seams rather than stapling. The sales person asked her superior who, rather than describing their methods to avoid visible seams, began arguing with my wife about the issue telling her it was impossible and silly. He stormed off and yelled across the showroom to the sales lady dont show them anything and dont talk to them anymore! And since my wife walked toward the door when the manager stormed off, I was left all by myself in the middle of the showroom, 5 minutes after I walked in, completely dumbfounded at the unprofessionalism and insecurity of the managerial staff. I cant imagine any form of customer service resolution whether they be delays, issues with installation, or issues with warranty when their managers act in this manner to new potential customers when asked what should be a simple question for a carpet installer. I would STRONGLY recommend you not waste your time here.

Have good deals on what we were looking for

We needed to get new carpet for our upstairs. Lowes or Home Depot wanted $3500 for about 850 sq. feet. That was way too much. We went to Evans and worked with Brad, a super nice guy who explained everything and did not try to oversell us. We got a nice, medium-quality carpet installed for $2000. This inclused removal and hauling away of the old carpet and pad, plus new pad being installed. John was the main installer, and he was great. I highly recommend them. You just put half down as deposit, and pay the other half once the job is done and you are happy.
