My wife and I were looking for a new countertop in preparation for selling our home. We were referred to Discount Granite by a friend, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The entire process was smooth and seamless, from the online quote process to signing documents virtually. We had the option to pick out our slab in person, but chose to have it picked for us. Installation took far less time than anticipated (around 3.5 hours total from start to finish), and it turned out great. Also, the cost is far superior to anything else we priced out, and was far more affordable than we thought it would be before receiving the initial quotes. We’ve already recommended Discount Granite to three different immediate family members, and at least one is getting their new counters installed in a couple weeks. And if we decide we want new counters in our new home, we will definitely become repeat customers.

When you go into the show room you see exactly what you’re going to get you see what it looks like your vision what is going to look like in your kitchen. After 55 years of marriage we decided to upgrade our kitchen. Went to several different places selling quarts Discount Granite what is the best price and we’re so very happy we went to them.

Great customer service with a wide selection of Marble Granite and Quartz. This company is a little different than others as they offer pre cut and pre finished slabs that can be cut to fit. In my opinion this is even better than the big slabs because you can actually see what’s going on your kitchen.

Great experience dealing with Discount Granite. The price quote we received was significantly less than other places we checked out for our kitchen countertops. The staff was friendly to work with and was straight forward with the entire process. Once we committed to the purchase, the installation was scheduled about 6 weeks out (not saying it as a bad thing, just know that it might take a little while). Larry was the installer for the project, and he and his sons were great to work with as well. Professional and courteous for the whole process. Everything went exactly as Discount Granite described, so there were no surprises at all in the process. Total time for the install was about 5 hours or so, and we are very satisfied with the results. I highly recommend if in the market for any countertop needs.

Discount Granite Supply brought our dream kitchen to life! If you are looking for granite you have to pay them a visit. The prices on granite cannot be beat. We saved thousands of dollars. The gentlemen in the warehouse moved countless slabs for me, allowing me to pick just the right slabs. I felt like they loved the granite as much as I did and enjoyed helping me pick the perfect slabs. Earlier this week, Larry and his two sons came to our home in the Dayton area to install. We were blown away with the care Larry took to explain what he would do. He made sure we were involved in the decision making process at all times. One area of concern for us was our farmhouse sink. We followed their directions of having the sink level in the cabinet before granite installation. Larry knew exactly what to do to properly install the sink. Hannah led us through the process. The guys in the warehouse were great and moved several slabs so we could pick the exact ones we wanted. Installation was about a month later. We live nearly 2 hours away from the store. Larry and his two sons were great. They took their time and made sure everything was perfect before they left. Dont hesitate to use Discount Granite & Home Supply. The price was way less then my quote from Lowes. They did everything they said they would do when they said they would do it.

Sink separated from granite and destroyed cabinet. Called company and requested they look at it and fix (the counter is only a few months old). Owner or manager, Mark, said a tenant must be abusing the sink. This is not the case so I asked him to stand behind his work and take a look at the separation issue. He exploded in rage at me and hung up.I have given this company 4 jobs over a year and they totally failed me. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It goes without saying that I will never do business with them again as they did not stand behind their work.Despite the comment below, the company described the installer as their subcontractor which means they are the prime contractor. The description of the phone call is inaccurate.It is also interesting that the company uses the phrase “over 8 months ago” as if 8 months is a long time for a sink to stay in place. This says something about the durability of their work.Note that the company below states that my contract was not with them. They have described their installer as a subcontractor and arranged for this installer to install the counter and sink. However, now that the installation has failed after only 8 months, they accept no responsibility. The person who installed the material has disappeared and doesn’t answer his phone. What this means is that after installation, you may receive no support at all from this company if there are problems. Buyer beware.

*Edit* Now the owner is saying I received imperfect countertops which is an absolute lie. This was never mentioned an on any of the paperwork. I purchased quartz countertops and had it installed, it’s scratching and discoloring which is not normal for quartz. Other countertop installers told me that Discount Granite skipped a step in the fabrication of my countertops and that’s why they’re scratching. I would not recommend going here for countertops. Do not let them cut the countertops at your home. They offered to do nothing after I reached out to them. I wish I had never purchased my countertops here.

Great experience, The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, we got beautiful stone and installation went in without a problem. The installers don’t do any plumbing work, so we had to do a lot of our own plumbing to get our sinks reconnected but we were very pleased with the end product! I was so impressed by this place! I researched a lot of different places to buy our granite and found that this store had the best prices and the best color selection of white and gray granite. My favorite part though was the shopping experience. I had to pick out 5 different slabs and I was so picky about how they matched together. I expected the big tough guys helping me sort through all the slabs to be in a hurry, especially since I was there right at closing time. But they were cheerful the whole time as I went back and forth and had them pick up, move, pick up again, and move again slab after slab. I really appreciated that they even pointed out flaws in the granite that I hadnt noticed. If I were them, Id just want me to pick one and move on, but they took their time with me, making sure Id be happy with my selections for years to come! Ive already recommended them to all my friends- this place is seriously wonderful!

They walk you through a warehouse filled with granite and quartz slabs. You can see the actual stone they make your counter out of. No staring at wall displays to figure out which color you like, they have the actual rock for you to look at. Since they cut it on site, they gave us free chunks of each material we liked to take home. Super chill experience, exactly what we needed after a week trying to figure things out at Home Depot and Lowes.

Make sure you follow DG’s timeline suggestions for reconnecting plumbing.The installers arrived on time and took care with removal and new install. Larry answered all my husband’s questions and was able to put him at ease. The granite we selected needs to be treated every 3 years and DG provides you with enough solutions to last 12 to 15 years. Not the best experience Ive ever had with a stone supplier. Ive worked with a few and Discount granite has been the hardest to work with by far. They made a few mistakes on my last order (granite kitchen counter tops and quartz vanity tops for bathrooms) and they were NOT willing to correct the second mistake. I had to spend a lot of time with these guys and ultimately didnt get what I ordered. Id rather pay a little more at Lowes or Home Depot for the easy and smooth transaction.

Great products and service at a real discount! DG did me a huge service in the cabinet design consultation for my walk in closet to master bath conversion project. Space restrictions hampered the project almost to a halt. DG simplified every concern with an open design plan made more usable with very affordable quality custom built cabinetry. A quick order and delivery process made the project come to life. All that remains is to revisit the showroom and pick out a beautiful slab of granite for our vanity top. We couldnt be more pleased!

Disappointing

Had a good experience with Mark when it came to purchasing the actual stone and the price of it, but the installer they use did not do a very good job in the install. One of the back edges of the counter was chipped during the install, not very noticeable because I have a backsplash, but the backsplash does not cover the entire chip. I had an undermount sink installed, and the installer did not use any clips to hold it up, all he relied on to hold the entire sink weight was a bead of silicone. I questioned the gap that appeared between the sink and counter when he left and he said it was because the sink was not square. It was actually because the sink was dropping as soon as they installed it. I had to jack the sink up and install wooden sink supports. Any installer who relies on silicone to hold a deep double sink is asking for trouble.
