This local bookstore had such a friendly vibe. The employee at the store was super knowledgeable and helpful with plenty of recommendations for authors and texts. Definitely a great place to get books from authors of all types. Especially great for finding work from local authors!

I visited this book store with my grandchildren . Its a nice book store, but it is way too small, no room to expand. But my grandchildren were able to find book they liked .... my grandchildren miss going to books a million . I hate books a million closed. It was the only good big book store we had that carried so many books and gifts. ... but friendly city book store was set up nice . Its just way too small no room to expand and just not big enough, I like big book stores . But the owners were nice and friendly and checkout was friendly service. My grandchildren had fun in the childrens book section and bought them a book. So all was good. ... I just did not understand with all the empty buildings down town, why this book store did not pick a building that was bigger and had more room and better parking. Where the bookstore is located, ot is very hard to park and very hard to get out of. ....

The staff are very helpful, not to mention friendly. The selection is broad and varied including used and paperback. Local authors are included, and there is a childrens room. They will order anything not on the shelf. I ended up with more than would fit in one bag. Highly recommend!

Stopped by here today while visiting town. The owner, Emily, was super friendly and knowledgeable - both about books and the area. Good selection, well curated, and cozy store. Well worth a visit!
