I was in need of a newer car because the old one had so many issues that it was no longer cost effective or reliable.The team jumped in, asked qualifying questions to help me make an informed decision for the right car. No pressure sales, no push for any type of car, just honest people who live in our community and deal with the same things we do.We landed on one of the many late model, low mileage Sonata sedans on the lot. Low mileage means under 25k, and also means a factory recertification. Impressive!The car is immaculate, sporty, holds a ton of luggage and is on Par with the Accord and Camry for thousands less!I literally could sell these cars because of the excellent value and performance, but I know no one can do it like Germain Hyundai in the AutoMall in Columbus!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I will just say your dealership is awesome. I live 6 hours away and had to do everything over the phone. They made it so easy to do business. We made a price negotiation in about 15 minutes. Andy Butler went over and beyond to make the buying experience smooth and easy .Knowing that we would be arriving fairly late Saturday Andy made a restaurant recommendation that was out of the park. Andy met us a hour before the dealership opened knowing we had a 6 hour trip back home .He personally washed the car, filled the tank with gas and surprised us with a 20 year 200,000 mile warranty at no charge. We love our 2019 Lexus ES350.We had been looking for 4 weeks all over the country for a very specific new one. This one was exactly what we were looking for with only 4300 miles on it. Germain Hyundai you are the bomb.

But the past 2 days i have tried to have someone there to give me a call because i had a few questions i needed to ask. But have gotten no response from them. I brought my 2020 Tuscon in for a routine oil change over Labor Day weekend. A week later as I am traveling back from a family function in Indiana, I notice dark exhaust, smell something burning, and my oil light comes on. Apparently, the oil plug had fallen out and I was leaking oil all over I-70. My engine was beyond the point of repair and had to be completely replaced. To their credit, the dealership replaced the engine at no cost to me. However, John Bricker, the service manager has such poor customer service skills that I will never return for service or to purchase another vehicle. He accused me of entrapment because I wanted written confirmation of a verbal conversation. He stated that his word should be good enough for me. If his word was good, it should have been no problem to confirm it in writing. I am appalled by the way I was treated by Mr. Bricker.

My cars engine crapped out on me and they were able to help repair it. Huge shout out to Ben who helped me through the whole process. There was a factory issue with my engine that cause the whole thing to need to be replaced. Although it took almost 3 months to get my car back (due to a specific part missing), they paid for a rental for that whole time. My car is running great so far. Very grateful to have awesome customer service and a car company that looks out for their customers. Thanks Germain Hyundai!

My daughter was trying to buy her car at the end of her lease (we leased from Shawn) but she lives in Texas now and after A LOT of run around from the Texas Hyundai I called Shawn and with in hours she was being mailed paper work to buy her first car. The service I received was absolutely EXCELLENT! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my disability (retrieved my wheelchair and put it back when finished). However, I could not get in sooner than FOUR days when I tried to make a service appointment. This I find totally unacceptable, especially since I knew I had nails in my tires (2) and was losing air.

My review is split into two parts:Initially my buying experience was great! JJ was beyond nice and didnt put any pressure on us to buy. We ended up getting two brand new cars that day.After a couple weeks, one of our cars is turning out to be great but the other has been a nightmare. The sunroof leaks and the repair made by the service team only made it worse. Communication has not been great with the service department. Will update with future results, but not happy at all as of right now. I 100% regret trading in my car to get this 2022 model.

I came in to Germain Hyundai with my wife and 17-month old towards the end of the day, intent on buying a used vehicle, but still having questions and needing options. Everyone, from the sales consultants to the finance people were so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They even had toys, books, and TV to entertain my son, while also letting him run around the clean open office floor. In the end, I got a fantastic appraisal and offer for my trade-in. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I purchased a 2022 vehicle and the air or the horn doesnt work. When I returned the vehicle for repairs, I was presented with a bill for $628 from a rude and nasty cashier. When attempting to explain to her that I just purchased the vehicle and there should be no charges, she was so nasty. When she walked away I read the invoice and she had given my another customers invoice, so instead of double checking when I advised her that my vehicle was brand new, she chose to be nasty. To top it all off I was given back my vehicle, not repaired and told it would take a few days for the part to come in. I was never offered a loaner vehicle. Keep in mind its 100 degrees outside and my horn doesnt work, how dangerous is that! I had to call back and demand a rental vehicle and to date I still dont have my 2022 Tucson!!!I could go on and on about how the lack of communication and transparency with this dealership, but all I will say is never again will I shop here or buy another Hyundai!!!

Manager Gerald Curtis called us on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend (five days after paying for the car in cash and picking up) to tell us we have the wrong car in our garage. He said we paid for a cheaper model and we need to pay more or exchange the car in our garage for the correct car. He even accused me of fraud and told my husband I knew I was paying for the wrong car. Too bad for them that the VIN on the car we had possession of matched the VIN on the invoice so they had no leg to stand on. I really hope Vince (the salesman) didn’t get screwed over for their clerical error because he was great. There are better ways to have handled this situation, but this was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

This is a post buy from Germain. It has been about a month or so since we purchased a vechicle from this dealer. The service we got from our sales rep was great and the information presented was par. They had vechicle information on brakes and what else and the brakes are not as they said they are. Giving the brakes ok and excellent rating when in reality the front breaks are almost to the rotor. Also there was no oil change information.With this we were also given options for protection at certain rates but when questioning these rate they slowly and slowly brought the prices down for repair and other issues that may come up. Trying to get us to add on to our monthly. With that said, they also brought down our APR costs by 2 percent. After an hour or so of them saying they couldnt do much for the price. I get its a business but keeping business is important to.Lastly, and most importantly. We were told that they would detail the car and have it in perfect condition for us to take when we would come back the next day. The car still had bugs, stains and dirt everywhere. Dont tell people youll do something then not do it.The sales team was exceptional. Everything else was not, hence 2 out of 5.

My son took his car there after the motor went out but it was luckily under a recall. They replaced the motor and said it was ready to be picked up but the air bag light was on and there was a clunking in the steering wheel. None of this was happening before the car just stopped. Of course this was not covered under any warranty. My sons wife brought the car home and my husband (retired mechanic) helped him look into the issues. First there was a bolt missing from the steering column which was odd. Then when trying to replace the steering coupler there were some additional anomalies. There was a bolt missing from the steering column to mount it to the rack & pinion allowing it to just fall off. Further examination, the airbag wire and the clock spring was hanging down and not attached. The device they attach to the wires was missing. Now some of the items like not having original parts and being from a different model perhaps was something that transpired prior to their purchase (four years ago). But the missing bolts and clock spring is very suspicious. Not sure what happened in between the time got towed by AAA and when it was picked up but something is definitely not right!

I walked in to look randomly on my way home at the used car section of Germain Hyundai after visiting another dealership and being disappointed with their used car selection. It was late, Friday night and honestly, I did not expect to drive home a new vehicle. That is until we met Nate. From the second he walked out and told my husband he liked his crocs (we all lie to preserve feelings sometimes) we knew he was the salesman for us. He was honest through the entire process, has some VERY witty humor which made the process feel quick and painless. Everyone we encountered also seemed to genuinely care and be willing to do whatever they can to make the customer feel comfortable and leaving in a great value product. 5⭐️ service for sure. I just purchased my 2022 Elantra SEL from Germain Hyundai, specifically from Car Sales Extraordinaire, Jacob Gahn. This is the 4th Hyundai I have purchased through him so obviously hes doing something right as is Germain Hyundai, because Jacob has been with them for 17 years. I wont purchase any other car from any other dealership or sales rep. Even though their inventory was low (as is the case with all dealerships right now) Jacob worked hard to find me the car I wanted. He was in contact with me throughout the process until my car arrived. Once my car was delivered, we had to wait a few days on Hyundai to release their 2022 lease program and Jacob still kept me will informed until it was time to come in and sign the paperwork. Jacob and the rest of the Germain Hyundai team are all ALWAYS courteous, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and will do whatever it takes to get you into the car you want and make sure you leave with a wonderful car buying experience. Its a class act over at Germain Hyundai. The Service Department too, on the rare occasion Ive had to use it, is a well oiled (no pun intended lol) machine. I love my car! I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted, they did not try to sell me anything else but I had a couple issues that bothered me. I went in with prearranged financing through my bank with a check ready to hand them, they claimed they no longer take outside financing and so I had to do a credit check through them. At first, I was ready to walk out but they were able to offer me the same loan with either no down payment or a small down payment and the interest rate was less than my outside loan. So, I took their financing and left with my beautiful Kia Sorento. After three weeks I hadnt heard anything from my bank who financed my loan so I called the bank and they said it was in the process of booking and when its complete I would receive a welcome packet. A week and a half later, almost a month later Germaine calls and says that during the paperwork on their end they put drastically different milage and my loan was denied. So, I either could bring my outside financing that they refused before or I could take a new loan from a different bank.The interest rate was 1% less and 1 year less, so my payment went up $37. I had to resign everything and start over. Apparently, my sale is still not finalized after a month and I have no idea if everything will turn out okay. I am not sure if this was a scam with yo-yo financing or a legitimate mistake. Once the new loan is finalized, I will have a better idea of what happened and how I feel about the financing department of Germaine. As for the car, I love it, its exactly what I was looking for and I havent experienced any problems. I adore my Kia. I hope my experience helps maybe somebody out there knows a bit more about what happened and how to avoid it.

Yesterday I called the main number because my car indicated low tire pressure. They answered the phone on the second ring. I was greeted politely and told to come in without an appointment. I pulled up to the service door and was greeted. They directed me where to pull up the car. The young man was so nice and filled my tires immediately and made sure they were not punctured or no nails. He explained about the cold weather and tire pressure. I was so impressed with their courteous and professional manner as well as expediency of service.

High volume, hurry up and get you out the door dealership. Avoid! The use fraudulent practices to fill out finance paperwork to make sure youre approved. After a week of having a car they called me to say the bank actually couldnt approve me!?!?! This was after I had been rushed through the system, told I was approved, given a temporary tag and even had finance paperwork saying that I was all good to go!?! On top of all this they dont detail their cars at all, just a quick carwash and thats it. I was given a car with scummy gunk on the seats, smelled terrible and overall gross feeling. I had to clean all surfaces myself.

WOW! That is the word to describe my experience. I drove 3.5 hours to purchase my used 2017 Kia Sorento SX. The vehicle attracted me first, but the customer service is what roped me in. I was blown away by their curtousy. Shannon Hall was amazing with her e-mail initial communication and transparency. She e-mailed me almost daily with car updates. Then, once I started asking more serious sales questions, I was referred to Andy Butler (manager) and Jacob Higgins (salesman). Both of which went above and beyond to reassure me of our deal and give me peace of mind before making the trip. Jacob sent me additional pictures and videos beyond what the website had listed. Andy even called me and talked personally while he was supposed to be off work. Once I arrived, the car was in perfect condition, just as described. It was practically brand new. There were no hidden fees or conditions that we had not previously discussed. Everything was quick, straight forward, and honest and the deal they gave me was INCREDIBLE. I can confidently say this because I had been looking at vehicles for over a month before I found this one. We had such a frustrating experience at Germain Hyundai. We started out looking at used cars with a great sales associate. We decided we wanted to switch to looking at new models. There was a specific model in stock, however it was obvious the new car sales manager did not want the used car associate to get the sale/commission. The new car sales manager kept saying, the car is out on the lot, but they clearly were hiding it and would not help us or the used car associate find it. We could tell there were internal politics at play and in the end, they lost a $40,000 sale. We went to Ricart and bought the same model for $2,000 less. Germain Hyundai needs to focus more on the customer rather than their internal office drama and egos. We felt really bad for the used car sales associate who helped us so much. Bottomline...just go to Ricart where they treat the customer with respect (and offer lower prices!).

Beware of Scam Practices in Service Department.Went in for a recall Service added an oil change. Eric shop rep called my wife to try to add a $29.99 service for cleaning battery terminals. $189 Brake Fluid Flush. $199 fuel system cleaning on a 52k mile 2018 Tucson. Will add pics of terminals and clear brake fluid that they didn’t perform.

Staff is unfriendly, no masks, dirty clothing, sneezing in the air. My support representative was agitated in general. I was too afraid to ask any questions. They charged me for inspection but didnt do a thorough job. Please find others.

Very misleading.Kathy was our sales rep. She was kind and did not pressure us into buying something we were not interested in. I am enjoying my new car. I rate this place so low because they were very misleading.We asked to finance through our own financial institution. They told us we could not, but we could refinance after we made 3 to 4 payments. They guaranteed theyd find us the best interest rate. In fact I think they found us the worst, considering our credit scores were in the 700s and 800s. Howard was our loan officer, and came off as being rude. We could sense that he wanted us out of his office after pointing out that he had a poster on his wall suggesting we could finance through our own means after he and his staff had told us we couldnt. He pointed and told us to sign without explaining anything. Later we found out we were charged $300 for the Kahu when initially we were told it was for free along with we should receive the app to download for it. Never have we received that. Since then we have refinanced, before our first payment is due, with an interest rate half of what they gave us. If you ever have Howard you will have to be sure to see if he took this poster down...

I just bought a used car there today. I have to say Russell the salesman did a great job of presenting the cars and was very knowledgeable about them. But I want to give special thanks to Andy Butler the manager. The first car they showed me was exactly what I wanted. However it just wasnt going to work financially. I told them what I wanted and they did a great job of searching and finding me a vehicle that was everything that I desired and it fit my price range. Andy really worked very hard to get my deal done. Andy and Russell really made this purchase a pleasant experience. Leased a new car here about 6 months ago. Worked with Shane in sales and Ricky in finance. Both were great and helped me get what I wanted. One thing I noticed was that I was given a real price up front, not something that changed as soon I went in the finance office. The rest of the experience was great as well complimented by great people. Appreciate the up front honesty & everyone who stayed late to help us finish getting the car.Had my first service recently as well and it was quick and painless. Definitely the best Hyundai dealer in town.

I read that the H in Hyundai represents a handshake and is a symbol of customer trust and satisfaction. Manager Andy Butler embraces this and rebuilt my trust. However I write this review with mixed feelings. Andy placed energy and effort into actively listening and problem solving. After feeling misled by sales agent Lisa Heart I felt all the used car salesmans cliches where true. I felt rushed into a purchase. Before buying, I confirmed I could return the car if it did not fit my needs within a day. Her response was yes, but call immediately - not on 3 - 4 weeks . I called forty minutes after purchase- no answer on the phone - both numbers several times. I spoke to a service person who stated I could just return the car. Lisa finally responded back after an email was sent- setting a letter trail. Her response when I asked to return the car was for trade only. Exhausted, I found myself lost, only in this situation of car searching due to a hit and run. Andy put my mind at ease and provided reassurance. At the end of the month, two days after I was told my check would be shredded, I was shocked to find it had been cashed.Was this to provide commission to the sales person? I may never know. Another drive out to get the refund check...time to redeposit. I really want to believe that the Hsymbolizes a handshake. I want to trust.

First ever dealership experience. Im from Dayton, so this was a bit of a drive for me, but Im totally happy. Well worth the drive. Im 35 and have been driving beaters my whole life. My brother and mom intervened and insisted I try buying a certified car. We all went together on the first warm Saturday. The place was busy, I found the car I wanted. Matt was my sales associate. This guy was no pressure, cordial, and quite frankly cool as hell. He was my age or younger, and his only priority was making me happy with my purchase. I couldnt have had a better first time dealership experience. Because the place was SO busy that weekend, we had to wait a long time for the financing people to get around to us. Luckily, there were several other sales guys on the used end of the Hyundai segment of Germain to hang out with. They took the initiative to talk to us about music, games, interests and whatever topics popped up. I didnt feel like I was buying a car from a business. I felt like I was buying a car from people like me who care. I guess I felt like I was buying a car from friends. And guess what? I love my car. Want a great used car, Ohio? Buy here. It was worth both the roadtrip and the wait.

We have purchased many vehicles in the past. We purchased a 2020 Santa Fe at Germain Hyundai Monday. Germain went the extra mile with us, showing us both Limited models with the 2.4 and 2.0 power train in both all wheel and front wheel drive. We test drove them all allowing us to fully experience the ride and comfort and especially the Heads Up Display. Santa Fe Limited models have a great deal of features that we needed and wanted to be fully informed. We settled in with the Limited 2.0 in front wheel drive. Then when it came to running the numbers they did an outstanding job giving us many options to suit our needs budget wise. I have to admit our purchase at Germain Hyundai was the most pleasant experience ever. There were NO sales pressures at all or at anytime. We felt we were in the drivers seat asking for help where we needed it and again they jumped through hoops for our business. We highly and strongly recommend Germain Hyundai team. We are looking forward to working with them with our service needs as well .

I waited over 2 HOURS to get ONE TIRE replaced.I was told 40 minutes - MAX.Over TWO HOURS to get one tire (that was in stock) !!!! That’s ridiculous.
