The place was dirty and full of dust. The staff was rude and indifferent. None of that would really matter had their prices been fair. It was very expensive and unfortunately our only option.

I have purchased thousands in parts from this company, but will choose elsewhere next time. Customer put 3,000 miles on a used transmission, installed February 2020, it lost reverse after 11 months. 1 year warranty was purchased but vehicle sat. 2 months go buy and customer reached out to get repairs done in April 2021. I understand it is out of the technical dates but the transmission lasted 3k miles and 11 months. Dont bother buying their warranty.

I was highly impressed with how easy this place was. I needed an axle for my 04 accord and they had one in stock! I ordered it the first day, they pulled it, then called me the next day for pickup. I’d say if you know exactly what you need already, then just call them to order the part. That will save you a trip in there. The staff was friendly enough. Great place to buy used auto parts in good condition and they seem to have just about everything.

The sales people gave me horrible, incompetent service, and they were impolite on top of that. I called multiple times, they didnt take down my order any of those times. I know this because when I went in person, they didnt have any record of my item, but they said that they could take my payment and they would call me when my item was ready. Well, 5 days later and I received no call, so I finally called them back. When I tried to explain the issue, they didnt respond to me, they just abruptly passed me to a different salesperson, twice in a row. I regret buying my part here, because this was infuriating.

Two days before I purchased some parts and spend more than $500. When I checked the fender I saw a lot of scratches and bents on it that does not in good condition. After paid they did not do any discount because of this poor condition and manager behavior very rude and unpolite. This junk yard most expensive in Columbus After this experience I found out that they sell parts two times expensive than other junks in Columbus. I do not recomend anyone to do business with them. RUDE AND DOUBLE EXPENSIVE !

I have contacted these people on and off for a very long time to see if they ever have any of the parts I need THEY NEVER CARRY IT THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND VERY UNHELPFUL. I will never call this place again for anything. Ive been working on cars since I was 15, been calling this place as a last resort since I was 15, and they never fail to leave me feeling both disappointed and disrespected.
Purchased two left doors from Buckeye they were in great shape. and even the same color by chance. the salesman even helped me load them into my van. Would recommend Buckeye to all my friends!!!

I dont believe for a minute that a sales person helped load a door in someones vehicle. There was maybe 3 good, dedicated people there in the prep, test and inventory area. Great place. Just picked up a starter for a 1999 sleep. It was cleaned up. Payed $50 for it with a 6 month warranty. Got home and took the old one off and the new one on and my car started right up. Definitley going there from now on.

Outrageous prices! $1000 for a 16 year old Chevy truck transmission! Unknown miles on it to boot. Rude over the phone. Will be contacting BBB and filing a complaint of professionalism and customer service. Would rate lower if it were possible.

The CUSTOMER SERVICE was horrible, and when I got the wrong part, it was said I could only get 25% of my money per the refund policy, which clearly stated 75% when I pointed it out to them. Dont waste your time or money, Edison is right down the street, go there if you want better service!

Was told they could have a transmission pulled next day and its next day and now they cant till Thursday after I was promised it and now the jobs started and cars stuck. Horrible service and bad customer service.The name was Taylor Parsley. To top it all off the transmission is bad! They are pulling another one well see what happens..
Prices are a bit high compared to some other salvage yards but acceptable. The service I received was good.
Its very hard to satisfy every customer that walks through the door, however, anyone who knows me Know that I take great pride in helping people and being extremely kind and patient with all my customers. Sometimes some folks cant be satisfied, but that will not deter me from being the best at my job.

Prices are outrageous on many parts. was looking for a door for an 06 focus. they had 1. 250 DOLLARS!!! woodys salvage had the same door and in the right color for 35$. I had to pull it off the car. it took about 10 minutes. I understand this is not a pull a part yard and you pay more because of that. but not 215 dollars more.
My shop experience was great with buckeye. I ordered a part for a 2001 Audi S8. After installing the part on the car we found that it was not the correct part due to a vin split for this year. I spoke with doug and he was able to help me out and get the part returned. I will continue to use buckeye auto parts for my recycled parts needs.

One of the salesmen gave me a hard time on a return. The 1st part was defective, and after i got the part the 2nd time i found out it wasnt what i needed in the 1st place. He complained that he went through alot of trouble for no commission. Im the one who had to pay restocking fee. I wont be going back.

Brett, Greg and Mike are the most racist ignorant people I have ever met; especially Greg. I walked in and was not greeted, acknowledged or anything. I sat there for 10 minutes while; Greg walked past me out the door, walked back in the door while smugly sitting down and started answering calls. I sat there 5 more minutes and walked to Brett who looked up but turned his head to continue his call. I walked out, walked back inside and still nothing; so I walked up to Greg who was PURPOSELY ignoring me and asked am I in the right place; his response was, well what are you trying to do? Im in a part store idiot what else am I doing. He then gets on the computer and in 10 second says he doesnt have it. I called yesterday but today he doesnt have it then says someone must of came and got it. Why not just say you only want to deal with whites. Matter of fact I am about make sure you guys are marked for that.P.S. went down the street to a bunch of women to get help after these girls couldnt here.

Walked in the door 2 days ago with a high pressure line in my hand & greeted with we dont have it by the gentleman who was running the front at the time. I thought they may be short handed because the couple times I had been here in the past (years ago) there were a few people running the front but this day their was just 1 employee along with 1 other customer. I continued to say hello & what I needed off a motor and was told our cars dont have the motors in em went on to say we cut the lines when we pull the motors out. Knew I wasnt getting my hose at that point. Really had a bad taste in my mouth when I saw the same car I needed a part from inside the gate when I was pulling off. Had to go up the street to get my part. Dont like judging a place off one bad visit we all have our days, but I dont ever remember getting good service here but I havent been many times (makes sense to me now that Im thinking about it lol) Buckey has a reputation for good quality used parts👍, hope service can develop the same rep.

Worked there three days an had to leave my wife just had an amputation and it had complications my check was never sent and after i told them i was picking my social security card up they proceeded to mail it to god knows where. Parts pullers screw up most of the body parts racing around the yard the owner takes no responsibility for his staffs mistakes The help wanted sign in the window is bs. I bought a mustang motor and installed it. The crank was off balance and i was not offered an exchange even though i bought the 6 month warranty. Lets see if the owner scott calls me back after lunch. Because i left my number with sales staff. There are many osha violations and if scott is unwilling to right this wrong i will be going to osha i have a suit pending againt them already if i dont get paid for my work
Clowns and nitwits. Overpriced and a huge pain to deal with. Theyre doing us all a favor by taking care of the unwashed masses. I get it, it sucks to work in a junkyard but thats not our fault. Customer service is laughably bad and if there is anywhere else to go get parts it would be advised to go there
The staff here was very nice and polite telling me I should buy my engine over the phone so it doesn’t get sold I can understand that. They told me If didn’t like the engine it was completely refundable COOl I paid for it. then I took off 4 hours early from work the next day to pick it up I called at 3:50 and said traffic was bad and that gps said 4:45 time of arrival. Greg said we walk out the door at 5 so if you think you might get here at 5:02 don’t bother. So I just took off work early pre paid 2,051.13$$$ and you can’t wait two minutes for me. hmm great way to get repeat customers idk if the parts are any good. Well showed up at 4:50 Greg had me sign some papers I was reading the terms and conditions and he said is everything alright. Just reading what I’m singing bubba. He said “ well we close it 8 mins so hurry up. Me” I just spent 2000$ dollars I can get a refund if you don’t have time. Love these guys. We have a standing joke at my house. I think that my Dodge Durango is a 2004 Buckeye Auto Parts Durango....we started out with a tail light assembly that was perfect. Then we went to a long block engine and now a new fog light.We have used Buckeye Auto Parts for years and have referred many! I definitely recommend these guys!

Terrible website, unhelpful staff with bad attitude. The site claimed to have 2 of the part I needed in stock, when I asked the guy at the shop he claimed to not have any, did not want to help me look, and told me the inventory numbers the website gave were invalid.
Got a radiator and a door handle from this place last summer. Decent service, and I was able to pick up the parts the next morning
Never met a warm and fuzzy auto parts person so, if that is what you expect, you will be disappointed wherever you go. But the sales people at Buckeye were professional and the prices were fair. As I was waiting for service, at least two customers commented that the auto parts store down the block (at least four used auto parts places inhabit McKinley Ave. in Columbus) charged a lot more for the same part.
Worst custumer service ever! When the old man ran it, it was an awesome place. Now with the baby boys running it, they abuse the fact that no one has the time or energy to peruse legal action. I bought a tranny and it was the wrong one I tried to take it back but I was told by a little boy, that I will never get my money back and they can get the right tranny but I had to wait 24 hrs. I will never do business with these low life jews again, especially afer that kid told me I was going to listen to him or he was going to hang up, something a jealous high school girl would say.
The inventory listed on their site is extremely outdated and a waste of time. They rarely have the part you need and have no customer service skills.

I have never been treated so horribly by a company.....ever, in particular Joe. I purchased a transmission on Monday morning and was told that it was coming from the Lancaster store and it would be delivered by the following day or Wednesday at the latest. Wednesday came and went and still no transmission. On Thursday morning I called, ask what the delay was and was told it was on its way and I would for sure have it today by noon. Noon came and went and I still did not have my transmission. I was more than a little frustrated by that point and called the business, spoke to Doug who advised the supervisors name was Scott and the owner was Marvin Payne. Shortly afterward Joe called me back and advised that the transmission had arrived, did I want it brought over or I could come get it. We opted to pick it up, since we were frustrated with the timeliness anyway. We went and picked it up without incident, but upon getting ready to prep it, we found that the electrical connector had been destroyed by whoever pulled the part, the pins were busted and broken off. So I called Joe back, advised him the transmission was unusable and we needed to bring it back. He said we could do that and they could exchange it for me. I told him I already found another transmission someplace and because of all the delays, I would rather just bring it back. He said okay, there will be a 25% restocking fee. I ask how that could be, the transmission is unusable. I told him this wasnt right and he said you can either bring it back and pay the 25% restocking fee, or we can exchange it. I ask how long the exchange would take, and he said for you because of your excessive calls at least 10 days. I advised him I had only called 3 times within in the week (which was true) and he said, oh okay. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said he was it. I ask if the owner was available and he said he was out of town until next Tuesday. I stated I could not believe they did business this way. He then proceeded to tell me that he hoped I would never do business with them again. I was shocked and outraged at the way I was treated. I was a paying customer. I had purchased the part, he had told me I would have it at a certain time and then it was delayed and delayed again. His word was no longer good. But then to tell me I had to pay a restocking fee for a part that was junk to begin with, and then top it off by telling me he hoped I never did business with them again, just astounds me. It appears to me that possibly this business is making their money on restocking fees...I do hope Im wrong. I dont care what kind of business you are, there is no reason to treat people the way I was treated. Joe was more than rude, he was downright obnoxious. I had thought to call Tuesday and speak to Mr. Marvin Payne, however, Joe has worked at this business for awhile now, so Im sure Mr. Payne already is aware of Joes behavior and it is obviously condoned. Your wish is being granted Joe, I wont do business with Buckeye Auto Parts again, and all my family and friends will know the way Buckeye allows their employees to treat its paying customers. By they way, Doug was very nice and professional...he seemed to treat people the way he would like to be treated..........
Fraud crooks are very disrespectful took my credit card and overcharged it $100. Had to get police involved to get refund - avoid at all costs.
