I’ve had body work and my car detailed at this location and they do excellent work. I would not trust my mustang with any body shop except Car Star Collision. They are reasonable, seamlessly work with your insurance to be able to provide you with the best service for your vehicle. They made the stressful process of needing my car repaired easy. They treated my car like it was their own, and after my recent detailing, they took excellent care of my car and she looked brand new again. Thank you Car Star! I would highly recommend.

I was in a car accident and needed body work on my car. My insurance didn’t cover a rental. They lent me a car and even dropped it off at my job. My car looked amazing when it was finished. On top of the amazing body work they did the car was detailed as well. I would highly recommend!

I got rear-ended and needed a new bumper. CARSTAR worked with my insurance and was able to take in my car just a few days later. They had the rental waiting for me and kept me updated on my cars progress on a regular basis. The paint job on the new bumper is great. There was a minor issue with the fit of the bumper, but they took care of that for me today during a short follow-up visit. They reminded me that I can also come back in a few weeks (after the paint on the bumper cures) for a free detail. I really appreciate this and will look into it then. Im satisfied. I will consider this shop in the future and will recommend them to others.

Toyota West referred me to CARSTAR for repair of my Toyota Camry. The day of the accident the manager called me personally to arrange the tow and my car rental. They stayed in contact regarding the status of my repair the entire time and my car was even ready 4 days early! When I arrived to pick it up it was clean and in beautiful condition. You couldnt tell there was ever front end damage and the paint job was pristine. I am glad I was referred to CARSTAR and would highly recommend them!

Just wow! They did an amazing job with my vehicle, drives amazing. When I went to pick it up today they said they were just drying it from the car wash. They not only washed the exterior better than any car wash I’ve ever been to but the also detailed the inside, which I had not been expecting at all. This place rocks and although I hope to never use them again, if anything happens to my car again I’ll be a repeat customer for sure!

The saying is true Angels come in many forms. I want to give a HUGE thank you from the bottom of my heart to the team at Car Star. As a nurse I’m so used to taking care of everyone, but today they took care of me. I was stopped in the middle of a cold, snowy, winter (out of gas on my way to work) I’d been working so much I hadn’t even paid attention! An angel stopped and asked if I needed help. She had her team of Gods push my car over to their parking lot. Welcomed me inside, and made me feel safe and comfortable. They used their gas can, purchased gas for me, and placed it into my vehicle ...it doesn’t end their . Once in my car I couldn’t get it to go into reverse, tediously trying and very nervous I worked for about 30min. The angels appeared again offering to contact a tow truck to get my car to Mercedes Benz Easton. One of the angels comes out and asks if he could give my car a try to get it in reverse, within 5 seconds he pulls my car to the front door. They never asked for a dime. I’mForever grateful for everything theyDid for me. TRUST ME IF THEY WILL WORK THIS HARD FOR A STRANGER YOU AND ALL OF YOUR CAR NEEDS ARE IN THE GREATEST OF HANDS!! Taking your car to a body shop for repairs due to a car accident is always a bummer to begin with. My insurance company recommended Carstar for my repairs.They literally took care of everything, all I had to do was drop the car off. They had a rental car there waiting for me, they handled all correspondence with the insurance company.The best part was I cant even tell where the damage was on the car after they did the repairs.Plus, they detailed my car inside and out after the repairs.When I picked up my car it looked like it did when I drove it off the dealership lot. It was immaculate! Clean, shiny, looked like new.I didnt expect them to go the extra mile and detail the car after the repairs so it was a great surprise. The car was really dirty from road salt, kids and whatnot and they had to have worked hard to make it look new againThe owner was so helpful from beginning to end.While I really hope that I never need body work done on my car again, if I do I would not hesitate to come here again.

My 2019 Honda Accord was backed into (not my fault) the person who backed into my car offered for me to take my car to Car Star and they would pay for the paint job and my rental car. I accepted the offer unfortunately my bumper had to repainted 3 times because the paint jobs were horrible. I work at the Honda plant and I work in paint inspection, so therefore I know what a good, decent, acceptable, bad, and terrible paint job looks like. I’ve seen it all. Car star called me the day after I dropped it off and said my car was ready for pick up I arrive at the shop and take a look at the 1st paint job it was terrible!! There was Thin clear, orange peel, craters and sand throughs just to name a few of the defects that I found on my car. I had them repaint it because I was not taking my car like that. They repainted it and called me back to the shop for the 2nd time, this time there were craters or blister type defects all over my bumper and they must not have masked my car properly because they ended up getting little black specs all over my trunk hatch too. They repainted it for the 3rd time now and I decided to just accept this paint job because I have no faith in them and it was probably the best they could do. The painters obviously don’t look at there paint job after they’re finished (which is a must). I have a few pictures to show the scratches that needed painted from the wreck and the craters after the 2nd paint job. I wish I took pictures from the 1st paint job too but I didn’t. You may have to zoom on the pictures to see the defects because my car is white and it was a sunny day. I might also mention the painter was not happy that I looked over my car before taking it because he was rude to me when I was pointed out to him all the defects. He was just unhappy that he had to repaint it.

I was new to Columbus heard of Carstar in my hometown area and decided to check out Carstar here in Columbus. I had bumper replaced besides other things it only took about 3 to 4 days! I was surprised. They did an excellent job car looks brand new, loved also the detailed done to the car inside and outside detailed. Will recommend others to Carstar!!!.

This fall and winter, after years with an immaculate accident record, I had two unfortunate fender benders, the first not my fault and the the second my fault. In both cases, the folks at this Alum Creek CARSTAR took care of me and I am so thankful I chose them. In the first accident I was rear ended and they made my messed up trunk and bumper look and function like new. In the second accident I missed someone in my blind spot who was passing me, and they realigned my wheels and fixed up my fender so quickly, I had my car again for new years! The accidents had minimal impact on my personal life thanks to their hard work.All parts were direct from Toyota manufacturer which is such a relief in terms of knowing my car will continue to be reliable and safe. However, the best part of working with this carshop was getting to know the people working on my Corolla; they were the reason I felt most at ease. Daves confidence in his team, and Garys patience in answering my questions with expertise, along with the kindness from all the staff, really made me feel that I could rely on them and they go the extra mile to gain that trust. If I ever get unlucky again I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else. These people understand the business, but also understand that your car is a part of your life and soul, and they respect that. My name is John Wells and I want to let people know that my experience at Carstar Collision has been top notch. Everyone from the receptionist to the owners Gary and David are extremely helpful and accommodating. I have had my car damaged 3 different times in the past year and each time they have made the process easy and stress free which really helps when you are trying to sort out your transportation needs. They have taken care of my towing, driven me to a car rental place and everything else to make the process easy. And when I get my car back it looks like new again. ( except the one time it was totaled by the insurance company and they couldnt work on it) I grew up working on cars in a body shop and I know what great body work looks like and these guys are the best at what they do. I highly recommend that if you are ever in an accident that you call them first and just let them take care of you and your car.

UPDATE: my little sister just turned 16 and got her first big girl car. She was so excited. It was an older vehicle, and did not have AUX capabilities. I called the team here and they were overwhelmingly helpful and got us in the SAME DAY as I called to have her new radio put in. Working with them is like asking family. Could not recommend CarStar more.Absolutely amazing team. They came and got my vehicle for me, and dropped it off making it the most easy experience in body work I have ever received. I brought them my 2008 Toyota Avalon after I had been in an accident and they were super helpful and understanding in working with me and my insurance agency to get me back on the road as soon as I can. A couple of them even stayed past their closing time because my ride was late picking me at their shop.Theyre really professional in the work they do and went above and beyond on trying to find parts for an 11year old car all across the country. But after they did a tear down of the car, they gave me the bad news that there was a ripple in the frame of the car. They’re always super helpful and they go above and beyond to help you when you’re having to deal with everything after an accident.Ill definitely use them again next time I need body work done on my vehicle, hopefully next time my car survives the accident.

Something hit the hood of my 2020 rav4 and pretty much destroyed a section of my hood, once finding out about Carstar I spoke with them about fixing it... I was about to leave for vacation and rescheduled for when I got back without any hassle... dropped my car off on Wednesday, also showed the guy a spot where I cart or something scratched the side.. and picked it up Thursday, upon picking it up... IT LOOKED BRAND NEW! You can’t even tell anything had happened to it, also they guy that did the work oN my car took care of the cart spot... I cannot say how completely satisfied I am with the work done... Highly Recommend!

I recently picked up my 2019 Toyota Tacoma from this facility from having a scratch repaired on the passenger rear door. The scratch is repaired however they did not blend the paint properly nor did they paint the entire door. Now I have a 2 tone door on a brand new vehicle, and ofcourse they did not see a different in paint. Also when I got home I found that there was over spray on the black graphic on the front door. This is sub par work at its finest. I would never recommend this shop for any work at all.

I previously had my car worked on and I thought they did a great job until I found out that my windshield wiper fluid reservoir was damaged and leaking. I took it back to the owner, Thom, and told him about my issue. He proceeded to tell me that it was the fault of the Honda mechanics overfilling it. Take it back to Honda for my next oil change and low and behold it’s actually leaking. I tried to go back and they weren’t even there with no warning but a sign on the door. I called and he didn’t seem too concerned or willing to help. Or even explaining why they weren’t even there during business hours. I don’t trust this this business and now their review on yelp about them not paying a vendor makes total sense. I give up on trying to get them to fix this problem.
