My wife and I bought our highlander about 30 days ago and we where pleased with our customer service from John our salesman. We found that tansky had a better price for what we had been looking for. Today my wife called because we havent received any documentation on our acct. Number for our payments or where to send it for sure. Not wanting to be late on our payment my wife called and talked to our salesman. She said he was being condescending to her and rude and after calling me crying I have to say the service after the sale leaves a lot to be desired. We have been telling any body we know thats looking for a nice used vehicle to give tansky a try but the service after the sale from our salesman so far has not been pleasant. We would be hard pressed to return.

We had purchased a vehicle that was a previous lease and had just arrived to the lot (unserviced and not yet detailed). Our salesperson PROMISED the car would be serviced, detailed, and ready for pickup in 3 days. 4 days later, we come back and it was still not ready! Our salesperson was on vacation, did not pass along any information to any of the other car salesmen, and did not provide us with any updates. The car had only been serviced. The inside was filthy, decals had not been removed, and scuffs in the car were still visible! My wife and I were frustrated and disappointed at this point due to us driving from an hour away... luckily Dan Perry, the manager, saw our car situation and did everything to ensure we were well taken care of! We would also like to commend Josh for the outstanding communication about updates on our car. After it was all done, Matt delivered us our vehicle in pristine condition! But we werent done just yet, our temporary plates were accidentally forgotten at the dealership! 1.5 hrs later, Connor drove down and delivered us our plates! It was an exhausting process that could have been avoided if that one promise was kept. In the end, we appreciate the efforts of Dan, Josh, Matt and Connor for going above and beyond. They cleaned up the mess of one person. If you plan on shopping for a used Toyota, look for these people and they will take care of you!! Theyre an awesome team!

Didnt even try to make a deal. Didnt lower their price, nor did they even give me average trade in value for my truck. Carvana matched their offer within the first try. I dont like dealerships who wont even try to work a deal. I wasted a trip from Dayton. Very frustrating.

My recent experience At Tansky Toyota was just great. I had my Tacoma vehicle there for routine maintenance. They started the service right on time and did the work in record time. The price was just right particularly considering my military discount. This service manager and technicians were superb. I loved the chocolate treat. I will definitely come back for service in the future.

Great service! When I had to wait longer than usual for an oil change due to an influx of cars needing services, I was given a genuine apology and wasnt charged. I always feel welcome and cared for by the employees, and the services are thorough and trustworthy.

I called twice to get info on a car advertised online. I was told the first time they would get back with me in 10 minutes regarding it. After, 2.5 hours and another call later I decided to go see the car. Not one person came out to help, then when I went in and inquiring about it they were extremely rude. They never asked if there was anything else I was interested in so I left. A half hour later the original person I spoke with on the phone finally returned my call. I must say they are very unprofessional!!! But, I will say thanks because I just went down the road to Germain and bought a car.

Bob Luttrell was wonderful. He was very helpful when my dad and I were buying me a used car. He even let us test drive the car on the highway. He didnt pressure us to buy anything either. My car was also missing a spare key and he got a copy made for me! He is a very nice person and made the car buying experience enjoyable (my second time buying a car from a dealer). I would recommend him to anyone. 😀

I was called about an airbag recall. I asked about a loaner car, and I was told the time to come in to have all this done because I was told I would need to leave the car there.I dropped off the car and received a loaner car. The next day I was calked and in the afternoon, I brought back the loaner car and received my cat back. Everything up to thisvpoint is 5 stars.They told me they did a multi-point inspection. They said I should replace my windshield wipers. Okay, I can do that. Then I was told there was a red X beside the battery. I ssked what it meant? The person said it is very bad, but did not give any ither information. This dropped them 2 stars. You do not tell someone thete is something critical with there car and dont give any expkanation.It probably just needs to be cleaned. I bought the battery ladt year. Next time have a better explanation.

Long story short. My boyfriend, son and I were looking for a car Sunday. Walked inside, no one acknowledged us. Boyfriend said loudly, in front of a group of employees that obviously werent busy Guess we just look around outside by ourselves?. Walked outside for almost an hour, no one acknowledged us. Boyfriend went back inside for help getting info and finding a specific car. All he got was a point in the direction of where it was. Finally, when we were about to leave someone asked if weve been helped. We said No and he gave us his card and went inside. We went inside to talk to that dude, and even though he was busy with other people, he have us keys and a license plate then went back inside. I dont go to a car dealership to be ignored. We wont be going back.

Purchased jeep as gift to grandson for Christmas. The carmax report rated high; after driving car three days engine light came on. Returned to service. Had it almost two weeks. Picked it up drove off lot to first light, engine light came back on. Took back to service they kept car this time three weeks. This happend three times with car was supposed to be repaired but wasnt. Finally, manager called said it will cost too much to repair note under warranty. Assurred me they would make this deal right and offered to other vehicles. Cut story short everyone was really nice but in the end i had to pay additional 400 dollars not counting another tax title and other fees.

Was not told had to pay when I called and had frame inspection done, then when car was finished was lied to about my rental car from service advisor, showed up Friday drove 45 minutes because I was told there was a customer waiting on the car, when I showed up service was closed, and was told by someone else that no one was waiting on the car, and didn’t even have a 24 hour notice to return the car service advisor called me the next morning wanting the car back, and my car was just finished the day before at the end of day, and after looking at my vehicle notice stuff was wrong, d/s cv axle boos leaking grease was not prior to dropping off car, and a few bolts loose, I know it was a big job and I understand bolts being loose, my issue was that I was lied to about the rental car left work drove 45 minutes and then had to drive back home, and Saturday when telling another service advisor about the cv axle I was just told to call and drop off to have looked at and see if it was something they did, and it was something that happened because that cv axle is a mouth old I am not happy with the service from the advisor not completely his fault but I will never take my vehicle there again and I will never recommend Anyone to take there car there for service and now I have to pay to have my axle replaced and redo the alignment because it’s also not right, and I have poor service I just don’t want to deal with you guys anymore

Weve just bought a car from this dealer in Dec 2012.At first, we did not want to go there after reading the reviews. But, we eventually decided to give it a try. And, we got the car home.Based on previous reviews, we guess things may have changed a lot. They were willing to negotiate with us (back and forth). The sale reps reaction and attitude were very open and respectful.The only thing we dont like is that the document preparation fee is $250, which we think is high. I dont know about this fee in other dealers though. It might be similar?An update: we later found out that they messed up our paperwork that caused us so much trouble getting our (permanent) license plate!

Set up an appointment for my wife to get a tire changed. Waited an hour and a half for them to say they didn’t have the tire and was provided the wrong size to buy from a tire store. Bad service. No I’m not calling to waste time speaking to a manager. Please get your house in order!

Went to get a key made but, when you get two totally different excuses for why they couldnt do it from two different service associates, you know its not a professional service or attitude. Went to Toyota Direct instead, there i was told theres no appointment needed for making a key and I got it done almost immediately.
