This place has a nostalgic feel about it and staff was was friendly and helpful. However when we returned to pick up motorcycle, it still wasnt running right, and actually wouldnt stay running. Apparently one of the requested repairs wasnt performed.Bike remained there another 3+ months, and engine was still running rough. Luckily we made it home (35 miles away) with no issues, but not feeling comfortable with the work that was done.Probably wont bring it back here if works needs done again

Was welcomed with a warm greeting as I entered the shop, and my needs were promptly met and beyond satisfactory. Then Ronny gave me a brief history of the joint and showed me several amazing bikes and told me to make myself at home. The place literally is a combination of a custom cycle shop, art gallery, museum, and all around killer spot to find out what is going on locally with motorcycle enthusiasts. The shop is 1 year younger than I am, and i was born in 1972. Literally the coolest place Ive visited in Columbia, in years.

This was the worst excuse for service I have ever had.... I brought my fatboy there to have a broken compensator sprocket replaced with a vulcanworks compensator eliminator kit. They took it upon themselves to not replace it, but repair it. I specifically told them I wanted the part up graded since Im going to be building the motor, they did not upgrade anything. Plus they installed a battery I didnt ask for. To top it off my neutral light dont work anymore and neither does my gas gauge as well.... not pleased at all! Horrible shop experience..

Highly professional workers, with incredible pricing on used bikes. A real must see for all those interested in two wheel travel. You dont want to pass this place up. Many rare models, for sale as well as show. Many wonderful and fun exhibits to interest even the faintest explorer. A museum of two wheel transportation, in a family oriented setting. A person would feel very disappointed to not see what is available here. Also, the place to get your information about the list of so many events for bikers. Dont miss out.

Ive known Sam since back in the late 70s and he was at his original location. S&G was and is still the first name in all things Harley-Davidson in Columbia! Nice, friendly folks, a literal museum of everything at the shop (ask about Mr. Turner!) And quality workmanship when it comes to repair work. Never fails to satisfy customers whether its a tune-up or a t-shirt, they got ya covered!!

This place is awesome. Just dropped in after having them order tires for my BMW r1200rt. No appointment which was rude I know but I got the call yesterday my tires were in and I got here at opening the next day. The fellow at the counter greated me and showed me around the shop. He highlighted a few really cool custom bikes they were working on. I told him I could call my wife to pick me up if they couldnt get to it....the nice thing was they tried to accommodate me and were super nice about it.Great staffObviously knowledgeable about all makes....you will see evidence when you look around. And Super niceI found a new shop

This is the best bike shop Ive ever been to! Sam and Ronny are the most helpful and friendly guys you will ever meet. The shop rate is low and the quality of work is extremely high!! The mechanics are unbelievable they can fix any year, make or model even if you built it yourself or if its a custom build from a manufacturer who is out of business. The bike shop is like nothing yall have ever seen. This is one place yall have to see to believe!! When I moved to Columbia I didnt know more than two people. I became very close friends with Sam and Ronny. I also became friends with the mechanics. The knowledge that Sam has and Ronny too is unbelievable. Sam knows more about bikes from the year one to present than anyone alive. They can get parts for the oldest to the newest bikes. They also have that date part for your 1905 bike that no one knows about!! Im very picky on who works on my bikes and my bikes never ran so good since they worked on them. I had a Harley Davidson and I had a Yamaha this is my place to go to for anything my bikes need and also the best place to go for a laugh there both funny guys. In closing theyre very honest and Yall never have to worry that they added something to your ride she didnt need!! Im one very satisfied customer.Patches 🇺🇸🏁😎

Im from Indianapolis and was looking for help to restore my 78 Honda 750 Super Sport. The first thing I needed was to make sure the engine was worth saving. Brought my bike down to S&G, because I couldnt find anybody close and the owner told me they work on these old Hondas all the time. S&G had my bike for over ten months. After three months or so, they finally let me know that the engine was good and worth saving. I gave a deposit of $1500 to get them started and told them to let me know when that had been used up, because I wanted to control how much would be spent on the bike. For the next five months, I would call about every two or three weeks to see how they were doing with the bike and was told they would get to it MAYBE next week. They finally told me they got the engine working well and started work on other parts of the bike. They put on a new seat, handlebars, muffler and carbs among some other small things. The whole time I was assuming that I was still under the $1500, since they never asked for anymore money.I stopped in to see how things were going several times when I was traveling through on my way to Chattanooga. They couldnt get the bike started, because they said there was no gas in the bike. I asked if they had any gas in the shop and they said no. I should have known that something was wrong at that time, but I trusted them. They gave me the idea to just do the basics on the bike before spending too much money. They would fix the brakes, rear shocks, and clutch and then let me pick up the bike to drive for a season. That way I could decide if I really wanted to spend more money to restore the bike completely. Finally, after 10 months in January I called to let them know I would pick it up the following weekend. When I arrived on Friday morning, I was told they had been working on the bike all day on Thursday and came in early that morning to make sure the motor was running well. On Friday morning they found out they needed to replace the points plate and advance, because the bike was not running well. Did they just figure this out after 10 months? What had they been doing? Why had they just figured this out? I thought the engine was good! They replaced the points plate and advance unit with a used one they had, because there was no way to get a new one in so quick. Anyway, they said they had the bike running well and ready for me to take. I put it in the trailer and went in to get my detailed invoice.Just imagine how shocked I was they wanted to charge me another $1900 on top of the $1500 they already had gotten from me. They had no invoice to give me. Just a bunch of jibberish written on the back of a piece of paper. I was speechless, but I had to get moving, so I reluctantly paid the bill and left. That was January 12th. I finally received the detailed invoice on February 24th. How fitting I received the detailed invoice on the same day it was warm enough to ride the bike for the first time, since its been too cold to ride up here in Indianapolis. The bike ran terrible. So, after having the bike for over 10 months and paying them over $3400, I have to find someone else to work on the engine, just to see if it can run well. And by the way, the brakes werent fixed, the shocks hadnt been replaced and the clutch was worse than when I bought the bike. The moral of the story. These guys cant be trusted. Sam, the owner, sounds like a great guy and can really charm you into thinking they do great work. If you need your bike fixed, find another shop. These guys are terrible! Never offered to fix their screw-up, which I wouldnt let them touch the bike again, or give a refund.
