Very nice store. Very organized and clean. Well stocked and supplied. Cart wipes available and Covid protocols in place.

Customer service could use some customer servicing. Everyone in line got attitude for something. I got attitude for asking if I needed to do anything else. Guy in front got attitude for asking if he could pay with a card. I realize no one wants to work at a grocery store so +1 star for that, just try not to make it so obvious.

Self checkout was a nightmare! And when I finally had everything scanned the store that says it accepts Google pay wouldnt accept it! Very frustrating!

Needed to get my vaccine and they had Maderna. But I normally dont shop there because its too expensive for me. This store is for I forgot something and need to make a emergency store run. I Walmart is my go to store for dry goods and toiletries n vegetables. Giant is my store for quality meats and produce.

Easy going neighborhood grocery store.

Safeway is cool if you dont want to drive out your way but I prefer Harris teeter. When Harris teeter has a buy one get one free offer and you only buy one you get it half off at Safeway you pay the full price . At Safeway the fruits and vegetables are not as fresh. Safeway has great deals and is affordable. I would never buy snow crab legs from there again though.

I wish they carried more vegan foods, but its definitely a fine place to get meat replacements, and cooking essentials. I dont really cook much, but I frequently get veggies for my bunny here.

I was not happy with the customer service I received today. The person at the deli moved as slow as he possible could, to avoid waiting on me. He made himself busy with several tasks, even after the previous customer was gone. I didnt want to rush him or give him the satisfaction of knowing I was annoyed, so I waited. Fortunately, another associate came up and acknowledged me. When she started waiting on me, the guy made his way over and apologized. My demeanor was friendly, but I chose not to make I eye contact with him.Later when I left the store, I saw him again, but did not make eye contact.It truly saddens me that I had to carry this type of attitude with the associate. However I wanted him to realize its not okay to unnecessarily keep a customer waiting. Perhaps the associates here have become to comfortable with the store being practically empty as far as customer traffic.

Not crowded and everything was easy to find. Store was well-lit. Check out took a little longer than expected because there was only one live cashier open and two of the auto checkouts were out of order. Not bad otherwise.

Usually I shop at the other grocery store but I went to Longgate on two occasions for different reasons and both times went into Safeway. Nice produce section and I enjoyed their seafood section, but their Deli was a little chaotic. Their workers were engaged in a conversation which slowed down their interaction with me, and other customers.

Safeway has massively increased the already premium prices. While it may be convenient, i prefer other grocery stores that are cheaper, better stocked, more friendly alternatives. Many of the employees are rude and dont seem like they want to be bothered helping customers, especially in the Deli section.

Friendly employees who are always professionals. I appreciate aisles are designated one way but I wish customers would follow the plan.The Harpers Farm location is nicely stocked.

Only 1 cashier for regular orders and she was really slow. Go somewhere else. Waiting in line during this pandemic is not worth the risk. There werent that many people in the store. The express cashier wasnt busy. Management needs to pay attention.

First off, I’d never purchase meat at this location. I have purchased meat here several times and it wasn’t fresh regardless of the expiration date. Second, Safeway should be ashamed of themselves for their ridiculous high prices! What a rip-off. If you don’t like wasting hard earned cash, I would recommend that you avoid shopping Safeway. Almost everything is priced at $5 or more. Safeway’s prices are that of a convenience store, not a grocery store. Until they change their business model, I will not shop Safeway.

Shop here frequently. Just always check expiration dates! I cant even count how many times I had to take things back because it was expired. Sometimes over a month. EVEN BABY FOOD. The pouches and jars! Please beware. Even bought orange juice they had marked down on sale and when I got home it was brown juice 🤢

Went in the middle of the day. The store was clean and well-stocked. The self-checkout stations were fiddly and kind of a pain; it required authorization to scan mint!

Safeway is a alright supermarket. I use it for items that are on sale and for cleaning and paper supplies. It by no means in the same league as Harris teeter for more specifically items For example produce meats fish cheese and bread.Safeway quality is much more less in quality and selection.

Who still shops at Safeway?! Desperate people, thats who. Havent been here in years, and I never plan on entering Harpers Choice again. I respect my car too much.

Very disappointing. I bought a slice of cake yesterday the same day the tag says it was packaged and there is mold on the strawberries under the glaze like they where trying to hid it. Iv never had an issue with the bakery here until now. Never again everything in this store is bad or about to go bad. Stay away

This location is awesome, plus it has a Starbucks and Redbox inside. It also has a Amazon drop box that I use on occasion. Mainly if youre not going to be home and you need a safe location for your packages. They stay open pretty late, the location is very safe. The staff is courteous and the inside is always organized, clean and well-stocked. In all honesty I cant think of not a single incident that Ive ever experienced from a negative perspective at this location. The only reason why I didnt give it a five-star is because I only wish the prices were slightly more reasonable. Safeway is my local store of choice. Almost always offers quality food at good value. As with all stores I occasionally get a disappointing produce purchase, but that has happened to me at other stores, depending on season. All in all, I prefer Safeway. My store is located in Columbia, Md, in the Harpers Farm shopping center.

Well stocked and usually friendly service except for the old lady with dusty hair who works the self check out line. Next time she is condescending Im going to self check her. Which is what I should have done to begin with but shes old so she gets the benefit of the doubt. This time. Everybody gets one.

Safeway has changed and not for the better! They are routinely more expensive that other grocery stores, and chains. They consistently dont honor their sale prices or clearance(the rack where items are marked down 50%) without going to customer service. The self checkout lines are a headache to say the least! They constantly error making you rescan items or re bag them. Then finding a cashier to help you is never easy. Its quicker to wait in a normal long line these days...its a shame. I used to love Safeway, the selection and prices unfortunately they are failing in my opinion in areas they could and should be doing much better.

I like shopping at this store. Food always look great, employees friendly and great bargains. It has the best produce section.

Nicely managed store well organized and stocked with the essentials plus more.

There were no baskets as I entered the store. The carts are all the way at the end of the entryway and not close to the door. Many shelves were completely empty which was quite surprising. As the customers who needed help but the cashier kept talking to her friend. While yet another cashier stood with no one in line and did not bother to ask customers to come down toward her Lane. The store continues to not on its neighbors and customers.

It is easier to escape Leavenworth federal prison than check out of this store. Went for some bread and chicken and ended up doing 25 to life in the check out line.

The front desk and check out clerks are very unpleasant and unprofessional. The self checkout doesnt work properly so you are forced to interact with them. Items are hard to find and placed in odd places at times. The produce and meat selection is pretty good. The meat department staff is excellent. They are the only ones keeping me from rating this store one star.

This is typically a horrible experience, but it was convenient so I kept going back for several years. Theres a couple of decent employees, but most truly dont seem to care. Corporate Safeway must not visit or care. Produce is better than expected.

I dont know why people are hating on this Safeway. Not my first option for grocery shopping (a bit pricey + never can find protein bars), but they got all the essential items + great deals from time to time and I never had troubles at the check out

This Safeway is the nastiest grocery store I’ve ever been in. I don’t think I’ve ever been in this location before, but I ran into grab some cereal and realized I had to use the restroom quickly before I got back on the road. The pictures speak for themselves. The seats and gross and the smell was putrid. I couldn’t even use the restroom here.

Nicest Safeway around. Set up like all the newest ones. Enjoyed the shopping experience.
