Yesterday as I waited at checkout I glanced at the magazines and my heart sank. There was a magazine cover in large print declaring CODID Vaccines Dont Work Thousands die after vaccine. This is not just totally untrue--but the message is dangerous. If only 1 undecided person is swayed away from vaccine -- they could die after infecting others. It was depressing that the magazine was a few feet from your hard-working, masked checkout staff and also near the vaccine area in the pharmacy. PLEASE take the magazine off the shelf.

Absolutely unacceptable pricing for a mediocre corsage and boutonniere. No special flowers, basic colors, they charged $46 for this? I could have gotten a full bouquet of roses in a vase. Way to really screw over children just trying to enjoy a school dance. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Very helpful and friendly staff and plenty of self checkout stations. The only con I can think of, is the construction going on in the parking lot. Not enough to knock stars.

Honestly one of the best HyVees Ive been too. I love the layout & friendly staff! Everything is priced reasonably with beautiful displays. Theres a bomb bakery, floral department, starbucks, & hot fresh food service. Along with the customer service desk & cleanliness this is my go to grocer.

Had a great experience shopping, as usual. However, at checkout there was an incident. My husband and I shop before lunch and typically theres only one or two lanes open with human cashiers. Usually, there isnt a bagger. To assist the female cashier, my husband bagged our groceries. The male bagger from the next lane, stepped over... Not to take over but to tell my husband paper bags work better for boxes, and goes back to the other lane.

Until recently I came to this Hyvee for an exceptional deli experience. However, to my dismay they have started the practice of closing the hot case deli during the exact time I am off for lunch. Due to this gap in customer service and item availabilty I am no longer able to recommend this location nor can I continue to remain a customer of this establishment.

I put in a catering request using the websites online form. The form said Id receive a call from a catering manager. Instead I received an email from the manager saying they were marking my order as pending until I called them. :(I tried to call twice and ended up on hold when transferred to catering. The second time I awaited for a person to answer but they were unable to help with orders. I emailed the manager back requesting he contact me.He replied the next day morning saying hed call me that afternoon. He did not. He finally called me the following afternoon. It took roughly 6 days (4 business) to get a phone call. Id decided to switch to another caterer. In service industry its important to set your customers expectations.

Thier pickup is soo nice. You can get same day pickup for no cost as long as you place it early enough in the day. I order groceries on my lunch break and pick them up after work. Its a huge time saver.

Came in after my appointment at the adjacent MU Fairview Clinic, needed water badly, and checked out what they had to eat.Currently, theyre experiencing supply-chain problems, and their chicken selections at the Asian and Fried Chicken counters are limited, I wasnt in the mood for Italian or salad, or their excellent deli, so I passed today, but went shopping around the store in general. The store was clean, well-stocked in general, and doing a boomin business. Their selections are very diverse, the produce looked awesome, and the pumpkins are lined up outside the store, as Fall is in the air.Keep up the great work, Hy-Vee!

There are so many things to enjoy about this store! The produce and floral depts are the first things you encounter and both are pleasantly presented. So much to choose from and food made to order just left of the produce. The aisles are wide and spacious. Items are well-stocked. Staff members are well-dressed and very courteous. Id like to point out that their bakery dept is top-notch!!! Im addicted to their 9-grain seed and nut bread!! Oh my goodness, it makes the best toast!! You will find so many unexpected things there, depending on the season so make time to explore and enjoy yourself while youre there!

Hy-Vee is a Midwest brand. Its a staple for a lot of people around here. Just dont use the aisles online. Shoppers are under trained and will likely change your product for no reason when they have it or tell you they dont when they do. They must have given me over $1,000 worth of free product in the last year because of mistakes on there end. If you do order from their aisles online department the free food wont be enough to counteract the amount of BS youll have to go through to get what you actually paid for.

Store is well kept and clean for 30 years old. Liquor department needs an update to match the two other sites. Chinese was delicious and I love the fresh produce and meat department. Most convenient location of the three in Columbia.

Ever one here is relly kind and some thing can get expensive but most are cheap they also have good employee way better than walmart and the foods great

Cleanest and friendliest store in town! Just not a fan of self checkouts, or I would have rated 5 stars.

Disappointing experience ever since the self service check outs have been installed. Every time I have to use them they malfunction and an employee has to come over and fix it. That same employee could just as easily run a register since they stand there and watch people scan their own groceries.

What can I say about Hyvee except that it has long surpassed the Walmart on Conley Rd. as my favorite grocery store. A tad more expensive but if you prefer high quality food then this is the place I highly recommend. The deli is amazing, and theyre always making fresh, new, ready to bake foods that are amazingly tasty if youre in a pinch for time. Have never had a bad experience with any of the employees; other customers are talkative and helpful. Love love LOVE this location! Oh, and the chicken wings are to DIE for!

Priced higher than Walmart but generally worth it due to excellent quality products and food.

Had quick lunch prior to Memorial service for friends passing. Drove into town and wanted a quick bite close by. Fit the bill just right.

The people working behind the pickup/drop off counter are great. The lady who answered the phone during daytime business hours is an individual who lacks people/communication skills. Dreadful to have to talk too. She obviously hates and or is very unhappy with her job, you can tell by how short and rude she is on the phone. By far the worst hyvee to have to call and deal with. I only use Hyvee Pharmacy for my prescriptions and use this one when Im in Columbia and a refill is needed. All other Hyvee Pharmacies have been a pleasant experience.

I had been waiting to find the Hot Cheetos Sushi. It was kinda nasty. The cheetos were soggy and tasted stale. Also cheetos with avacado, cucumber, cream cheese and krab tasted strange together.

I always enjoy Hy-Vees selection, especially their gluten free items. And, since I cant have gluten, I really appreciate their gluten free beer choices. Their staff is always friendly and helpful which is hard to find in help these days.

The pharmacy is not working or communicating very well. This is my second day trying to get my prescription and it is because they aren’t listening or communicating. So sad.

Ive been there more recently than a year, maybe a different location.I love Hyvee, they have great produce, huge variety of items, some things are more expensive but when things are on sale its a big discount. Would recommend to anyone. And being invested, staff are always so friendly plus you can tell they are happy at their job.

Dont care for them only went 2 times and they said it would the same people but I havent found a one yet. Out dated food everywhere.

Ordered delivery online. They texted to ask about substitutions (the two items I needed most from my order), then ignored my answers. When the total charged to me changed, indicating to me they opted to not use my requested substitutions, I texted back again to ask why my answers were ignored. That text was ignored as well.If the choice was buying groceries from this place or eating out of a dumpster, Id have to do some research into the dumpster options before I could decide for sure.And they get 1 star because 0 is not an option on here.

HiVee is an excellent grocery store with a lot of prepared meals and snacks, such as chinese food and hummus sandwiches and salads, enchiladas and othet stuff. Its all good and fresh, including the meats, vegetables and fruits.

20$ three piece chicken side of potatoes and salad bar. Would have been great value if it was all edible. The chicken thigh was super fried solid unedible. The rest of the comfort food looked old and not appetizing at all. The Chinese food looked much better, I should have went with that.

Grocery pick up is easy to use and the shoppers are great at communicating any issues. The team that loads the groceries in your vehicle are super kind and work quickly! Definitely recommend getting your groceries here if youre in Columbia!

The customer service counter here is phenomenal! But their meat Dept is where it is at! Always helpful and full of knowledge. Plus great cuts of meat! OK we have been coming to this HyVee when it was the only HyVee in town. I was the first customer who attended the second HyVee in town. We shop the other grocery stores for different reasons, but his store is our home store. Why, they care. The shift managers (Cody) know our kids, the assistant managers, Jim and Laura Bowen, know what we like. It’s family. That have crafted their cafe to fit out needs over and over again. I love this HyVee!!!

This is one of my go to places for Asian take-Out. Their staff is friendly, Quick, and food is great. Im a fan of General’s Chicken but they have lots of options and it seems like they’re often serving a new entree, so I know there will be variety.

The pickup is easy. They are well organized

Clean, bright, and well stocked. Always helpful when I need assistance. Great prices and loyalty card reduced our gas prices - sometimes $1.00 a gallon.

I was at the pharmacy and they were busy but I went in and was told about 15 to 20 minutes, 30 minutes later I asked about the prescription and again about 15 to 20 minutes after another 30 minutes they called me up to tell me they were totally out of one of the prescriptions but they had it at the hyvee across town needless to say being sick already

Every time, that I go to Hy-vee, the experience is always excellent. The store is always clean, they keep their products full, they have employees that ask if they can help you. This store changed my mind about shopping at Walmart, Walmart, most of the time, has empty product shelves. There is always half eaten food, left out. To get help finding a product, you end up playing hide and go seek, just to find an employee. Plus at times, Walmrts floors are nasty.

I much prefer BKs food to its counter part McDs. It is no where near as greasy or as lacking in flavor. BK also does not keep the staff that McDs does. Because of this you may have a little bit of a wait. But how long have you actually been sitting in those McD lines at one time? I seldom go there for my drinks and get right through, even walking in right now, they are focused on the drive thru and do not pay attention to people in the front. So my wait time at BK does not bother me. I feel that their food is worth the wait. I will not pay the cost for their drinks, and I do not feel their fries are as tasty as McDs. But that is probably just personal perferance. I am not a fries person anyway so it really does not matter. The people working there are always polite and friendly. AND my food always come out as ordered. Unlike McDs! To anyone/everyone that is planning to go, or regularly goes to BK, I strongly recommend getting the app. I just love Whopper Wednesdays!

Ordered via online app for grocery. Text message confirmed a 5:35 or so delivery time, my PATIENT Door Dash driver had been waiting since 5pm for the order. It was 6pm when I called Hy-Vee asking where our order was. My driver stated that someone had come out to the car to inform them that there was no order under the name that was given. The short of it is that Hy-VEE had given my order to someone else. My driver was then here within minutes to deliver the order. Order received at the house at 6:34p. Just going through the order now, wrong items, wrong sizes. Leaving to go to the store in person now. So aggrivated!!
