Great halal meat and fresh seafood store with nice Desi food and grocery options as well. Very clean and friendly staff and ownership. Meat quality is solid as well. Grabbed a samosa for the road and it was fresh out of the kitchen and just perfect.

This is a great little family owned shop selling food items for India/Pakistani cooking. They are really friendly and have a good range of products.

Came to this location for the first time and was impressed by the size and cleanliness. The owners were also very nice and helped me find things and even gave me a samosa for the road. I will definitely be coming back, and am excited to try the food from the kitchen

Introduced to this market by my sister in law. After growing up in Leicester, England, relocating to New York and married to an Indian for 40 years, I have been in many Indian grocery stores. I can honestly say that this market is the cleanest, most organized store I have visited. The quality of the fresh produce is exceptionally good. Service and friendly demeanor of the staff and owner made for a most pleasant shopping experience. Highly recommended.

They lot of options for subcontinental food ingredients. Owner himself serve the customer most of the time and he is very hospitable. They fresh and halal meat. Recently they have introduced cook food service. I had zelebi, it was fresh and crispy.

I just visited Masala Bazaar and found it be a wonderful hidden gem. An Indian grocery store that’s also a to-go restaurant Try the Chana Masala-superb!! I’ll be back to further explore the grocery store as well as the carry out menu.

Everything you need. Even British chocolate, unique drinks from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh. Has a halal butchers.They also provide takeout food which is absolutely phenomenal. It’s phenomenal comfort food. Their Nihari is one of my favorites and it’s priced very fairly.

This place is fantastic!! The grocery operation is clean, well laid out, and well-stocked.The prepared foods were quite a surprise --absolutely delicious!! The samosas were as good as any i have had!And the best part of the store are the owners -- they are the nicest, hardest working people and it is wonderful to see their success.I look forward to grabbing lunch the next time i am in the area.

Best part neat n clean store. Usual indian/Pakistani grocery. I visited specially for fresh vegetables, but there werent many veggies and wasnt fresh at all. I didnt tried food.

If I could give more stars for the overall experience at this store, I would. Not only is the store always well-kept and stocked but the friendliness of the owners and staff is so refreshing. I only come here for all my Indian grocery needs (and tell all my friends to go as well) because they are just THAT nice! They carry pretty much everything we usually need and if we like a particular brand of something, they try and get it for you. A wonderful store run by very honest, honorable, and respectable owners. The store is well-maintained at all times -- clean and organized as can be. Spacious inside with lots of items covering many origins. The meat we get from there is always very high quality. The best part is the customer service. The owners are very cordial. Its a family-friendly environment that our kids love visiting. We wish them all the best. Youre lucky if you have found this gem of a store.

This halal meat market is a blessing and is a wonderful spot to shop for your meat and any other traditional food items. The uncle and his wife that run this store are incredibly kind and thoughtful! They remember their customers faces and always offer a hand if you need any help with unloading your groceries. The bazaar (market) itself is very clean and organized. Recently they remodeled the kitchen and register area and it has really brightened up the space! I highly recommend masala bazaar and always recommend it to others in the area.

I’ve been buying lamb at Masala Bazaar. The quality is truly excellent. My parents raised lamb, and I prefer the flavor of local American lamb over the imported, which tends to be much gamier. Masala Bazaar’s butchers are very good. They know what they are doing and will trim and grind meat to the customer’s liking, with more or less fat. The lamb is also tender. You will not find meat like this anywhere else, including other halal stores. Additionally, the entire store is impeccably clean and well-organized with a nice selection of produce, spices, and frozen foods. The owner and his wife are very friendly and I know I am always a welcome customer. I can’t recommend the business more highly!

Its neat and very friendly people. Good stock of spices, love their veg samosas.The also sell prepared food and of course goat meat and mutton.

Recently they have opened a kitchen. I would say their food is good but the portion is very very small comparing to the price. If you go to a good chiese restaurant you will get twice as much of portion as they give. If you do not care about value for money then this will be a great place for you.Customer Service- The owner is very pushy. He will push you to buy things that you dont want - to some extend it can become very annoying.They will very nice with you. Their foods take a hell lot of time to prepare- if time is not issue then you have nothing to worry about.To sum up I wouldnt recommend tis place for regular shopping.

The store was really big and we were able to find everything we needed. The food from the kitchen was very good as well. The man at the register was really nice and gave us a free chicken patty :)

Check spices and their best by dates. Picked up 2 and both had past expired, cumin and coriander. The place is clean, well lit and stocked. They recently opened a restaurant inside. Looking forward to trying it.

Great variety of Indian/Bangladeshi groceries. Their produce is from a local farmers market so the quality is always exceptional! I can tell the difference is my cooking when I use cilantro from Hmart or Giant vs at Masala Bazaar.

I went there to purchase Utthapam batter and found only one pack in the fridge which was more than a month past the expiry date, so I brought it to the owner’s notice. He came with me to the fridge area and after checking, he took the pack to the back of the store. After a few minutes of walking across the store, I again checked the fridge area and noticed that the same Utthapam batter was back on the shelf, this time with the ‘use-by’ sticker removed from top of it. Lol. He probably didn’t expect me to go look at that shelf again. My mistake that I didn’t confront him right away and left the store in shock and disbelief without purchasing anything. How can someone be so incosiderate?! Consuming a batter which is so old could be hazardous for the customers. Intentionally selling an expired product is extremely unethical.

Delicious, authentic deshi food... The Hilsha polau was mesmerizing. I also got fried chicken and mouth watering samusa on the side and together with the bread, Well done Mona and Azad bhai.. loved the food and service.. I’ll be back again soon.

Our go-to place for indo/pak/bengali foods. They usually have a lot in stock and even offer halal meat. The place is not tight or crowded like some other desi stores, so Im comfortable going there with social distancing. Owners are friendly and always willing to assist.

So I went to this store to get Citric acid, and the owner lady rudely asked me where my mask was and my gloves were saying I am putting them at a risk by going to their store without those two things. We all know how hard it is to find gloves and masks. I work in a pharmacy and yet we have hard time getting masks in. I told her that she should either put a sign out the store if she wanted her customers to wear masks and gloves or else don’t come in. Or she should keep her store closed. It was a very unpleasant experience, I will never go in again. I am aware of the situation working in a medical field, and my family and I practice good hygiene habits without masks and gloves. This was very very rude.

Hi, This is Suzan, this is one of the place I have seen with variety of options, and they have every single thing which I was looking for and ive thankfully got everything and the owners of this Store are impressively nice and they took care of me and my husband a lot, Their vegetables and meats are fresh and they have variety of Rotis and other stuff too. Overall this is a great store and havent seen a Bangladeshi restaurant like this in a while with tons of products.As a Bangadeshi Grocery, Im very proud that we have a store like this nearby our house. Old man who is owner is not good at the counter and he often keep some cents without telling you that okay I don’t have cents. Why not you give me more like a dime or compensate that cents in some way rather than secretly keeping the cents . No manner and keep hiding the face while doing it . Very bad ..

Good store for spices required in South Asian cooking, much cheaper than a conventional grocery store such as the nearby Giants. 10$ credit minimum which isnt bad for a locally owned place. The owner was very friendly. I actually like that its tucked away.

I visited this place today 3/ 29/19. Great place and I found everything I was looking for . Great selection of meat and spices. The owners are very welcoming and they make you feel like you are a guest at their home. Fantastic convenience store located in Columbia! The son of the owners is often there to greet customers. Very sweet boy with a fond enthusiasm of the cultural atmosphere that made shopping here really easy and feasible. He was able to help me find my chutney and spices within seconds. Clean and organized store. We got some dry goods and vegetables all were fresh unlike many of the other stores Ive been to. The owner was extremely friendly and made sure we found all items we were looking for. He even gave us complimentary treats for the road. Tons of parking in a clean neighborhood. Cant wait for them to open the meat shop. Hope they keep up the standard!
