I went in to see what items they had for sale, overall decent selection but they did not have much designer small skins. It was also a tad unorganized but not too bad. I’m not sure if it was a bad time, but the employees were not that easily identifiable nor were they friendly or helpful. One person said hello after I had made direct eye contact, no one asked if I needed assistance. There was a group project going on so perhaps that took employees attention. It was a very laid back shop but not in a good way. Given the experience, the shop would be good for those in the craft that know exactly what they need and don’t require assistance. But not a good place for beginners who need guidance. Personally I’m just going to order online since I wasn’t impressed with the store, but I’ll check in from time to time, maybe it was just a bad day.

I purchased a whole hide that was close in color to my loveseat, to reupholster the seats. It was a huge success!

These guys were awesome. They helped me walk through leather selections and what would be good for different types of projects. Even as beginner they really helped me understand.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are just starting out or of you have been working for years they can, and will still world world class service.

I was recommended to this store by a friend but given how I was just treated by the staff I won’t be coming back.

As a beginner who is ready to buy all thats needed, per direction from people who know, I was so excited to find a store in town with awesome reviews that I could financially support. But no greet, no eye contact from the employees as they walked by and no offer of assistance I decided to use the good old Google to buy online and YouTube to tell me how to go about projects.The reviews are awesome so I still think theyre worth a try, after all the other guests were greeted and offered assistance, maybe it was just a fluke with us, but flukes should be represented in reviews, too.

Awesome new location! So much more room then the last. People who work there are great people. I left some items I bought at the last place and came in and the individual I work with was there and remembered that I left supplies at the last store. I mean the fact that even weeks later that they take that much care in remembering who you are is amazing. From beginner to master leather smith and hobbyists alike, I definitely recommend Tandys to be at the top of your list of places to go for leather working.

Ive only been to the store twice and I can tell you that Im going to be a customer long term. Amninder and his staff are bar none the most friendly, knowledgeable, and personable people that know how to treat customers well. Its so refreshing to see businesses willing to build strong relationships with their customers and I cannot express my appreciation enough for it. Thank you!Today they held an introductory class with leather stamping and I LOVED it. The class was free and we followed a template (well I did a sketch I already had) but we got to use the tools and get an idea on how to properly work with leather. This was the first time Ive worked seriously with this material and I definitely will be doing more in the future! They do plan on doing more classes, both paid and free, in the coming months and I really cannot wait to attend them!

Nice little shop. No where else to get these supplies locally so I am glad they are here! LOTS of different types of leathers to work with and choose from. Lots of tools and kits to get you started. Staff seems knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The Tandy corporate marketing machine is not my favorite. Good sale prices, but to get good prices you have to pay to join the club. This is not this stores fault and they seem like they really want to work with you to help you get the best prices that the model will allow.

Way more awesome than the last management. Amninder took all the time in he had to really start my leather crafting in the right direction. I will definitely be using this store for all my purchases for leather work in the future.

Imani is an aspiring apprentice who is knowledgeable and equally recognizes to seek further assistance from his team to help facilitate your leather needs. I had my son with me when I was in the shop and gave him an equal amount of attention to feed his curiosity and allow him to work on some small projects in the store while I shopped. These men and women at Tandy’s do not treat you like a customer, they treat you like family.

I dont know much about leather but my husband and I found this shop while exploring our neighborhood on foot. The shop was small but interesting to look around. We bought a small rabbit pelt to see if our cat would be interested (he loves to mush his paws on our sheepskin rugs). If you are into leather craft then check it out!

I really enjoy shopping at this location. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. If something is out of stock or they dont carry it in their regular inventory they will order it in for you and are usually very quick getting orders in. They are a little understaffed at times but it depends on what time of day you go in. Doesnt make sense for any business to overstaff during the slow times of the day. Overall, love this place.

Scott (I believe), the interim store manager was extremely helpful when I came in looking for my first ever tools. I ended up with everything I needed to get started and nothing I didnt. I also got a bunch of free bits of wisdom. This was last week. Since then, Ive eeked out an imperfect pouch that serves to hold the tools of my newfound hobby. Thanks for the nod in the right direction.

The manager Was on vacation so I was left in the hands of Jeffrey, Matt and the always lovely, talented and extremely patient Riley!I am Brand-new to leatherwork. I dont even know enough to know what questions to be asking. I went in to look around and shop a little bit and stayed for the next 3 days! Seriously, the next 3 days. I even took a leather braiding class from Riley. I couldnt have hoped for 3 people this knowledgeable and patiente. They didnt just tell me what I would need. They explained why I would need each thing and explained how each tool or cream or stain Worked and on which leathers they would work best on. I have short term memory problems due to an old head injury and they did endless price checks and reprice checks for me. By the time I left on the 3rd day, I felt confident that I had the tools, leather and knowledge to return home, halfway across the country, and be able to successfully complete several leather projects I had in mind.Speaking of the leather, oh my goodness, so much great leather!!! Im also been looking on eBay is for tools for some time now and again, oh my goodness, so many tools!!! I got the elite membership in it paid for itself in my 1st purchase. So my purchases on day 2 and day 3 were just greatly discounted.So I feel I got good deals here, had a large selection of leather and tools, a tremendous amounts of knowledge and information and absolutely loved the employees!!! It May not be the biggest Tandy leather store, but it certainly is an outstanding one.

Terrible customer service. Service is slow, only one guy working, the boss isnt very nice, either. Without poor animals having to die and be skinned they wouldnt have a business. Not professional whatsoever in all aspects.
